00:01 I'm Allison and this is Stevie's story for GeoBeats.
00:06 They found a litter of kittens that someone abandoned
00:08 outside an apartment building.
00:10 No one survived but him, so he needed a home.
00:12 He was about eight weeks old when I adopted him.
00:15 He just turned three.
00:16 When I first got him, he would sleep on my side
00:18 and he would share my pillow with me
00:20 and sleep up by my neck.
00:22 He is so cute.
00:23 He just wanted human interaction.
00:25 He loved to be held, bounce like a baby,
00:27 and then just started burping him like a baby.
00:30 He loves it, he's obsessed.
00:31 You would just purr, kiss your face,
00:33 and nibble on your ear a little bit.
00:35 Oh, look at his secrets.
00:36 He burps.
00:37 He always has his snaggle tooth out.
00:40 He is so silly.
00:41 He has a lot of different moods.
00:43 He's very social, so when I would leave the house,
00:47 he would get sad, so I was like,
00:48 I need to get him somebody to keep him company
00:50 when I'm not there.
00:51 So I got Mac.
00:52 He was also about eight weeks old when I got him
00:56 from the same foster lady.
00:58 They are always cuddling, and when we sleep,
01:02 they sleep in bed with us and they're cuddled together.
01:05 Phoebe has learned a meow from his brother, Mac.
01:10 He wasn't very loud before,
01:11 and now he has this little soft, cute meow
01:14 that doesn't match him or his body at all.
01:17 He has energy inside of him that he needs to release,
01:20 kind of like when a dog gets zoomies
01:22 and he'll nip at your ankles,
01:24 which means he wants to be picked up.

01:27 One of the things that haunted us a lot initially,
01:29 I was going through a breakup,
01:31 and if I was crying, he would literally lick the tears
01:34 off my face and cuddle up to me.
01:36 Even now, if I'm sick or just sad, he always knows,
01:43 and he'll come and lay on my chest.

01:49 He's like a big, liquid blob that just lay on you,
01:55 like an anxiety blanket.
01:57 He's a big cat, but he's actually lost a lot of weight
02:00 since we've had him on this diet program.
02:02 He just had a checkup at the vet the other day,
02:03 and they said he was good and at a healthy weight.

02:11 He's a super tall cat.
02:13 He has a lot of skin, so when he sits,
02:15 he looks like he has no spine.
02:16 So majestic.
02:17 He looks like an old man that's also like a prince.
02:23 Always seems like he has many thoughts,
02:25 kind of squint, like he's thinking about,
02:28 I don't know, his past life or something.
02:31 Everyone always jokes he needs scotch.
02:33 I just love him, and I always look forward
02:35 to coming home to see him.
