00:00 >> I think part of it is highlighting what we did well, fixing what we did,
00:05 that we did do well, but then also not getting too high on ourselves and
00:09 not getting too low on the mistakes.
00:11 I think we're best when we're kind of even keel and we know what we're doing.
00:16 We know not to get too high or too low, but still celebrate what we do well.
00:21 >> When you look at this league and how dramatically things can shift,
00:25 I mean, the Broncos gave up 70 in Miami and they won five in a row.
00:30 And you guys have seen dramatic shifts.
00:32 How does that happen in this?
00:33 >> I think you see teams like that and I think with us too,
00:39 it's like the, what is the phrase?
00:42 You trust the process, right?
00:44 You keep going at it day after day.
00:47 You might not see the results immediately, but eventually,
00:50 like for the Broncos right now, now they're winning games.
00:53 They probably didn't feel super confident early on, but
00:58 it's just trusting that process, trusting that what we've done here in the past
01:03 works, and just believing in that and trusting the work that we're putting in.
01:08 >> Is this still a confident team, in your opinion?
01:10 >> I'd say so.
01:11 I mean, we showed it yesterday in the plays that we had to make, we did make.
01:15 We ended up coming out with the win.
01:17 So I don't think you can win a game without having confidence.
01:20 >> Having four of your last six at home where you're four and
01:23 oh, how much does that perk your confidence for
01:27 the stretch around here that you guys can put together to run?
01:31 >> Yeah, I mean, there is confidence in that.
01:34 We know we haven't lost here at home.
01:36 So I mean, they say preparation builds confidence, and
01:40 I think we prepared by winning here.
01:42 So I think that's something we can hang our hat on and continue to go forward.
01:46 >> Will was pretty specific as far as his own critiques of some misses that he had
01:51 specifically in the second half as a receiver.
01:53 How nice is it to hear that, not only from your quarterback, but
01:56 from a young quarterback, is that self aware?
01:58 >> Yeah, it's always good that someone can own up to mistakes or
02:02 missed opportunities.
02:04 That's the nature of this business.
02:05 I feel like part of being a pro is understanding where you missed the mark
02:11 and trying to improve those things.
02:12 >> What do you remember about the first Colts game and
02:15 maybe what were some things that maybe need to change for
02:17 you guys to have more success this time around?
02:19 >> Yeah, I feel like looking back, I'm not gonna watch the film on that game again.
02:23 Cuz I'm really a, what is the goldfish mentality from 10 lasso?
02:28 I forget about things really easily if it's not gonna help me going forward.
02:32 But I think the self inflicted wounds, the unforced errors,
02:37 a lot of those things that have showed up through the season that have held us back.
02:41 And then really just trying to take advantage of the big play opportunities.
02:46 I feel like we did do that well and
02:48 that's something we gotta continue to do while we get it in.
02:50 >> What are you most sure you guys maybe on the drive right before that happened
02:54 in terms of efficiency, getting you guys set up and getting the field goal off there?
02:59 >> Yeah, that was a big drive for us just to get an extra three points there.
03:03 It's something we work on a lot.
03:07 At practice, we worked on it throughout training camp,
03:10 pretty much that same exact situation.
03:12 We've done it through practice over the last ten weeks,
03:16 11 weeks, several times, so it's something we feel confident with.
03:20 >> Nick, how do you kind of evaluate Will week by week by week in regards to his
03:26 seeing the field and finding the right guys?
03:29 >> Yeah, I mean, it's not my job to evaluate him, but he's been doing well.
03:35 I think he's still learning.
03:38 That's part of the process of being a rookie quarterback is still figuring out
03:42 who's open and what coverage is going on.
03:46 I feel like he's going at it the right way and
03:49 he's stressing the process and figuring it out.
03:51 >> Have you seen Treyling around much and had a chance to visit and talk to him?
03:55 >> Yeah, I've talked to him a little bit.
03:58 He seems to be doing better.
04:01 Obviously, that's always a tough deal with those head injuries.
04:05 So I don't really know much details, but at least he's in good spirits.
04:09 And it's a blessing that he's all right, cuz that was a scary play.
04:14 >> Nick, a lot of guys have talked about just building on getting Elwood.
04:19 Now that you've got that win,
04:21 how much confidence is in this room that you guys can build on that here in December?
04:26 >> Yeah, it's a lot.
04:26 I mean, we said earlier, we feel confident at home for some reason, and it showed.
04:32 And we got a lot more of those home opportunities.
04:35 So that's part of it, but also it's a familiar opponent.
04:38 And I think we feel like we owe him one also.
04:43 >> You guys good?
04:45 >> Appreciate you.
