00:00 >> This being your last year, what does it mean to you to be able to end your
00:03 season at a bowl game like this for this team?
00:05 >> It's definitely great, just being able to go out there and
00:08 try to get one more victory is definitely gonna be exciting.
00:10 We gotta make sure we're doing everything in our power to go have fun,
00:14 to go play our best game.
00:15 So that's what it's gonna come down to.
00:18 >> So what are you looking forward to for this game in terms of the actual game
00:21 happening, what is the thing that you're looking forward to the most?
00:24 >> Really just getting back out there and
00:25 just going to compete against somebody else.
00:27 We've been practicing and banging against each other for a while now.
00:30 So just going out there and go back in front of our crowd and
00:33 go compete at a high level, that's what I'm really looking forward to.
00:36 >> And getting ready for the game,
00:38 how have you been able to balance kind of the different things?
00:41 Either celebrating the great career, helping to develop some of the young guys,
00:44 getting ready for this particular game in and of itself.
00:46 How have you balanced all of those different competing priorities?
00:49 >> I mean, be where your feet are.
00:51 At a different time, different days, different things change.
00:54 So just being where your feet are on that day,
00:56 I mean, I think it helped me balance everything out.
00:59 The sadness that kinda helps drive me when I'm in practice,
01:03 just to know that it's coming to an end.
01:04 But you just gotta make sure you're going out there and
01:07 being an example every day so the guys behind me, when it's time for me to go,
01:10 they can say Kenny did it this way, so I should be able to do it this way or
01:14 try to do it that way.
01:15 >> Obviously still one game to go, but when you think about your career here at
01:18 Kansas, what moment or moments kinda jump out to you as these are the ones that I'm
01:22 always gonna remember when I think back?
01:24 >> The two, securing the first bowl victory in a couple years,
01:27 seeing the fans, I wanna say that one.
01:29 It's kinda hard, it's kinda hard.
01:34 Over these last two years, it's been nothing but special.
01:38 So it's kinda hard to really pinpoint or pick out something.
01:41 I mean, just the environment of being an old David Booth, it was always special.
01:47 It was always special running out, going up for
01:50 my computer session, hyping them up, and then just being inside the stadium,
01:55 third down, hyping everybody up.
01:57 So I'm just gonna miss those things like that, but it was great.
02:00 I created those memories, so.
