00:00 >> As you guys prepare for this game, what is the tight end's role in impacting that?
00:04 What do you guys see on the field that makes some opportunities for
00:07 you guys to pass?
00:08 >> Yeah, I think we're just gonna go in there and do what we always do.
00:11 We're gonna try to be as multiple as possible.
00:12 We're gonna be blocking in the run game, blocking in the pass game even.
00:15 Just trying to stretch things vertically.
00:18 They play with their hair on fire.
00:20 Hopefully we're gonna try to take advantage of that.
00:22 But just take what the defense has given us.
00:25 They like to do a lot of things defensively.
00:27 So we're gonna try and just do what we do.
00:29 Just try to be productive.
00:30 >> As a Kansas guy, this being your Jayhawk Swansong, what's this week and
00:34 lead up been like leading up to the holidays and this last outing?
00:39 >> Yeah, it's a great experience.
00:41 The whole bowl experience so far has been awesome.
00:43 Getting to spend that much more time with your teammates,
00:46 those brothers you love and you've been with for so many years.
00:49 It's something you don't take for granted, especially, like you said,
00:52 my last game coming up.
00:53 So I'm excited.
00:54 I think we're all excited to play in this game.
00:56 >> Thanks, guys.
00:57 >> Thank you.
00:58 >> Coming off of a bowl game last year,
01:00 what's the experience like different this year?
01:04 >> Yeah, just with all due respect to Memphis, Phoenix is just beautiful.
01:09 It's just all the views and the hotel is awesome.
01:12 And it was a great game last year.
01:14 Now it's hopefully another great game this year.
01:16 And hopefully we come out on top this year.
01:18 >> And kind of the time difference, obviously, being earlier in the bowl
01:21 season, any differences there or just a different day?
01:25 >> It's tough with the whole Christmas planning stuff, especially for
01:28 a lot of teammates' families, including my family, just with the travel plans.
01:33 I think that's the biggest difference.
01:35 But for us here, it hasn't been too much different.
01:39 >> So what is it like knowing that this is gonna be the last game you'll play
01:43 at Kansas?
01:44 >> It's bittersweet.
01:46 I kind of feel like I've been here a long time, but
01:49 it still feels like it's been super quick.
01:51 So just taking it all in.
01:53 I think when it's your last one, you start to take things like practice and
01:56 walk throughs, I think you start to take that in a little bit more.
