00:00 Good morning from the Pag-asa Weather Forecasting Center.
00:04 This is our update on the weather for the next 24 hours.
00:09 We will still experience heavy rains in most of our country.
00:14 The shoreline is still full of hot and cold winds.
00:18 Here in the central and eastern portions of Visayas and Mindanao,
00:22 we still have scattered rains with thunderstorms.
00:26 Meanwhile, due to the Northeast Monsoon,
00:30 we will also experience heavy rains in the eastern and southern portions of Luzon
00:38 and the western section of Visayas.
00:41 In the northern part of our country, Metro Manila is brighter than we expected.
00:47 We still expect chances of light rains in Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon.
00:52 The chances of thunderstorms are high and the rainfall is fast in the southern part of Mindanao.
01:01 At the moment, we are not being monitored by the Low Pressure Area or the weather agency
01:05 inside and outside our Philippine Area of Responsibility
01:08 that could affect our country in the coming days.
01:13 To be in the weather today in Luzon,
01:19 we will still experience light rains in the areas of Cagayan, Isabela,
01:29 the provinces of Aurora, Quezon, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, and in the whole of Bicolan.
01:38 We expect a brighter weather in the rest of Luzon and Metro Manila.
01:43 We will experience lower chances of thunderstorms and rainfalls.
01:49 In the northern part of Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao,
01:54 we will still experience light rains in the areas of Palawan and Visayas.
02:04 Meanwhile, in the southern part of Luzon, we will experience heavy rains
02:09 and thunderstorms in the central and eastern sections of Visayas and Mindanao.
02:15 In those regions, central and eastern Visayas, Caraga Region, northern Mindanao, and the province of Davao Oriental.
02:24 So, to those who have been affected, be prepared and alert to the sudden flooding and landslides
02:30 especially if you will experience continuous rain.
02:35 In the northern part of Visayas and western Visayas, we will still experience heavy rains
02:40 but the chances of convective activity will be lower.
02:45 We expect light rains in the areas mentioned above.
02:51 In the northern part of Mindanao, the weather will be clearer than expected.
02:55 So, generally, in fair weather conditions, we will still be prepared for the chance of heavy rains
03:00 and landslides, especially if we will experience localized thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening.
03:07 In terms of the sea, we still have high gale warnings in some of the coastal areas of our country.
03:15 In the northern and eastern coasts of Catanduanes, northern and eastern coasts of Northern Samar,
03:21 and in the eastern coasts of Eastern Samar, we still have high gale warnings in these areas.
03:26 So, to our fellow fishermen and those who will be fishing in the sea,
03:30 if possible, do not go out because we will experience continuous waves
03:35 up to the very sea level, which is brought by the strong winds.
03:39 And for our three-day extended weather outlook in the chosen areas of our country,
03:45 here in a large part of Luzon, in the areas of Metro Manila,
03:50 and in Baguio City, we still expect the effect of cold, northeast monsoon,

03:58 Generally, we still expect fair weather conditions.

04:07 The chance of possible rainstorms in Legazpi City or in a large part of Cabiculan

05:29 So, we expect light rains only for the Northeast Monsoon in the mentioned areas.
05:36 In the part of Mindanao, tomorrow, Monday, in the three areas,
05:42 in the areas of Metro Davao, Cagayan de Oro City, and Zamboanga City,
05:46 we expect to continue the generally fair weather conditions,
05:50 with the chance of thunderstorms reaching the evening to the night.
05:54 But in the areas of Davao Region and Northern Mindanao,
05:57 the chance of heavy rains with heavy rainfall and lightning is expected to reach Tuesday to Wednesday.
06:05 Because we expect the effect of shear lines to reach these areas,
06:11 let's be prepared for flash floods and landslides in these days
06:16 because we expect the shear lines to reach the mentioned areas.
06:20 In the part of Zamboanga City, Tuesday to Wednesday,
06:24 because we still expect the continuous strong winds or the strong winds,
06:29 we expect the effect of the shear lines to reach the western section of Mindanao.
