00:00 Wow! It feels like eating cake!
00:03 If you know, you know.
00:10 Hatendo has been whipping up delicious Japanese desserts since 1933.
00:14 What do you want?
00:16 No fancy seating, just a counter displaying their star attraction, the chilled cream buns.
00:24 Priced at 6 Ringgit and 90 Cent each, these palm-sized buns come in five flavours.
00:30 The original custard, matcha, azuki beans, chocolate and whipped cream.
00:34 When it comes to the cream buns, Hatendo keeps it super simple and delicious.
00:40 We kicked off with the original custard cream bun.
00:43 Sweet, pleasantly eggy and that cold custard filling.
00:48 It's gooey and smooth, a true delight nestled in soft bread.
00:53 Just pull that bun apart and the cream oozes out,
00:56 delivering that satisfying experience we found at Hatendo.
01:00 The roti is also not that heavy.
01:02 Usually roti is very kenyang, this is very soft, very subtle, very sedap.
01:06 The chocolate is not so heavy, it's not too sweet.
01:10 Every, I feel like every of the flavour is not that sweet.
01:13 Oh and there's more!
01:14 While at Hatendo, we couldn't resist trying the yuzu raindrop cake.
01:18 Imagine a cold, refreshing sensation on a hot day.
01:22 It's like eating a piece of lemonade.
01:24 So, if you find yourself at the Exchange GRX,
01:28 don't miss the chance to try this simple yet incredible Japanese dessert.
01:33 Wait, if you don't like beans like me, it doesn't taste bean.
