01:07 Teodoro urged China to resist its desire to listen to a dialogue
01:12 and a peaceful resolution of the issue.
01:15 If they are really not afraid to spread their claim to the whole world,
01:22 why don't we arbitrate under the international law
01:27 to make it clear to everyone what is the right of everyone?
01:31 Why don't they want that?
01:33 After that, if they are caught in what they are saying,
01:39 they will be accused.

01:42 According to the Department of Foreign Affairs,
01:44 they called the Charged Affair of the Chinese Embassy
01:47 to allow the Philippines to issue a strict order
01:51 on the aggressive action of the Chinese Coast Guard
01:55 and the Chinese Maritime Militia
01:57 in the resupply mission of the Philippines to Ayungin Shoal.

02:03 or protest to the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
02:07 The Philippines urged that China has no right to Ayungin Shoal,
02:11 which is inside the exclusive economic zone of the Philippines

02:16 based on the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Laws of the Sea
02:20 that was approved by the 2016 Arbitral Award.
02:23 China's continued obstruction of routine and legal activities in its EEZ
02:30 is not acceptable because it violates the sovereign rights and jurisdictions of the Philippines.
02:35 The ships of China should leave the Ayungin Shoal and the EEZ of the Philippines.
02:40 The Philippines is making steps
02:43 to lower tensions based on the orders of President Bongbong Marcos
02:48 and Chinese President Xi Jinping.
02:50 This aggressive action of China raises doubts
02:54 if China is sincere in lowering tensions
02:58 and spreading peace and tranquility in the South China Sea.
03:03 The DFA also thanked the international community
03:06 for their support in the Philippines and in defending the international order
03:11 based on the international law.
03:13 21 countries issued a statement of support.
03:17 In an interview, China said again
03:20 that the BRP should remove the Ayungin Shoal
03:23 that the Philippines has promised before.
03:25 The DFA said before that no country in China has promised this.
