00:40 The truth is, Eric is 44 years old and his wife, Anna, is from Russia.

01:24 Tourist Farm started in 2016 and we're 8 years old now.
01:28 And it started private.
01:32 We only have one swimming pool and we built 8 rooms for the family.
01:37 Eric worked as a waiter in a restaurant in America.
01:42 This is where he met Anna, a Russian student who wanted to have a work experience
01:47 and to speak English fluently.
01:49 Eric and Anna's parents were against their relationship,
01:53 but they proved that love has no boundaries.
01:56 As a Filipino, my mom wants me to marry a Filipino.
02:01 We didn't want our parents to feel that we're against the culture.
02:08 So we just tried to find a solution in our relationship and how we present it to our parents.
02:17 Their relationship didn't end easily and they faced many challenges,
02:22 especially when they started their business in America.
02:25 We both business graduate.
02:27 So we both had a dream to build a business.
02:30 We need to shift from being employee to employer.
02:33 But that's not an easy shift, especially when you need the capital, you need to know how to run it.
02:39 So we start this real estate in America, but unfortunately, it didn't work out.
02:45 That's the time, it was a recession.
02:48 Because of the lack of income in America, the couple decided to just go home.
02:54 When we moved here in the Philippines, we were really wiped out.
02:58 Because for one year, I didn't get any work or I didn't get any close deals in real estate.
03:04 And Anna, she's also like that in her modeling career, she didn't get anything.
03:09 Eric and Anna tried the real estate business in the Philippines, but it also closed.
03:14 The two didn't stop building their dream.
03:17 This is where they thought of building a small resort from their old business.
03:21 Since we're a small resort, what do we need to prove to get recognized?
03:26 So really, for that six, almost one year, our income here is really negative.
03:34 Until they found business partners and raised several millions to level up their resort.
03:42 They saw that there are people coming, they saw what Anna and I were doing, how to market this resort.
03:51 And that's when they had the openness to put more attractions here in Taurus Park.
