00:00Hi there, it's John Blow here from the Yorkshire Post Features team and I'm going to take you
00:03through what's coming up in the week ahead. First of all, the new face will be
00:07gracing banknotes this week, that of King Charles III. His portrait will appear
00:12on all four banknotes which are due to be in circulation from Wednesday and
00:15notes that feature the portrait of the late Queen Elizabeth II will remain
00:20a legal tender. The 80th anniversary of D-Day falls on Thursday, marking a
00:25milestone moment for the last living veterans of the Normandy landings to
00:28commemorate the event. There will be extensive coverage in the Yorkshire Post
00:33this week, remembering June 6th 1944 when Allied forces launched a combined
00:38naval, air and land assault on Nazi-occupied France, marking a turning
00:42point in the Second World War. And lastly, farmers across the country will open
00:47their gates for a national celebration of agricultural life and invite the
00:50public in to find out more about their work. The annual Open Farm Sunday takes
00:55place on June 9th and a number of Yorkshire farmers will be taking part.
