The Rangers sit in between a rock and a hard place right now. On one hand they've just swept the Rays, and if they play well ahead of the All-Star Break, they'll only be a few games out of the AL West lead. On the other, they've underperformed all season long after winning the World Series, and there are reports that they're willing to sell free agent-to be pitchers. What should the Rangers do ahead of the MLB Trade Deadline?

00:00There's a lot of stuff to talk about when it comes to the rangers to sell or not to
00:21sell and there's a few different things I wanted to just throw out there as like what
00:25people are talking about, right?
00:27Okay, so Cam Collie and Anthony Gutierrez, two of the Rangers top 11 picks, or excuse
00:35me, two of their top 11 prospects in the system were both removed from games.
00:41And whenever that happens, obviously tongues start wagging and you start wondering, Foskey
00:46wasn't playing.
00:47Yes.
00:48Who did we trade for?
00:49What was the move?
00:50What was this?
00:51It's a Nightingale thing where opposing GMs expect the Rangers to be sellers at the deadline
01:00with Scherzer, Lorenzen, Heaney, Robertson, Yates, all being made available.
01:05And then Evan Grant even put out an article, why the Texas Rangers should be sellers at
01:12the trade deadline if they don't turn things around.
01:16And that was, I think, two days ago.
01:18So there is a lot of people who are throwing it out there, but he, at least Evan, is like,
01:22if they don't turn it around.
01:23And I think that's fair.
01:24Look, we talked about it.
01:26When we talked with Boach last week, he was like, look, we're not even to the all-star
01:30break yet.
01:31He was like, we're not selling.
01:33And then Chris Young said, I believe in this team.
01:36I believe they're capable of a run.
01:38We just have to put ourselves in a better position so that nothing is insurmountable.
01:41This team had a 40 and 20 run last year.
01:44It's in there.
01:45So it really doesn't sound like he's like, hey, we should probably sell soon.
