00:00Hi everyone, so the weather is looking pretty mixed this weekend especially so
00:04on Saturday and that's mainly due to an area of low pressure sat in the North
00:08Sea that will bring outbreaks of cloud and rain as well as brisk winds
00:13throughout the day across central southern and eastern parts of Scotland
00:16as well as northeast England all the way down towards parts of Lincolnshire and
00:19maybe for a time across parts of Norfolk especially early on. Now the rest of
00:23eastern England I think will stay predominantly cloudy but it will be
00:26somewhat drier. Meanwhile across parts of northern Scotland, Northern Ireland,
00:31Wales and much of western England I think there'll be some breaks in the
00:34cloud through the afternoon allowing for some bright or sunny spells but watch
00:38out there will be the risk of some showers perhaps not as heavy and
00:41thundery as they were on Friday but still some pokey ones are likely and
00:46temperatures in the sunshine should reach highs around 20 to 21 degrees
00:50Celsius around about average for the time of year but they will be suppressed
00:53under the cloud and rain across the northeast of the UK only up into the
00:56High Teens. Now Sunday looks like the driest and brightest day of the weekend
01:02especially early on through the afternoon I think we'll see some cloud
01:05bubbling up so I think the best of the sunshine for Sunday will be across parts
01:08of central and western Scotland and southern England and again in the
01:12sunshine it will feel warm in fact a generally warmer day for Sunday with
01:16temperature highs ranging from around the High Teens up to 23 degrees Celsius.
