00:00Good morning from Pag-asa Weather Forecasting Center. This is our update on the weather for the next 24 hours.

00:09Today, we expect a high chance of rain, thunderstorms and thunderstorms in the entire Palawan and the western sections of Visayas and Mindanao.

00:24This will be accompanied by a south-west monsoon.

00:29In most parts of the country, we will experience hot and humid weather throughout the day.

00:37But we are still prepared for the chance of sudden and rapid rainfalls and thunderstorms.

00:43We hope that in the coming days, the weather will be clearer in most parts of the country.

00:50Even now, the cloud formation in the western sections of Visayas and Mindanao is still high.

00:57This is still accompanied by a south-west monsoon.

01:00We expect a high chance of thunderstorms in these areas by the afternoon.

01:06For the rest of the country, it will continue to be hot and humid.

01:11Except for the chance of isolated rain showers or localized thunderstorms.

01:17At the moment, we do not have a low-pressure area or any bad weather inside and outside of our Philippine Area of Responsibility.

01:26That could be a storm that could affect our country in the coming days.

01:31For the weather forecast for today in Luzon,

01:36Most of Luzon, including Metro Manila, will continue to have generally fair weather conditions throughout the day.

01:42Even in the late afternoon to evening, there is still a chance of heavy rain showers and localized thunderstorms.

01:50These rain showers are just temporary.

01:52It doesn't last long, usually from 30 minutes to 2 hours.

01:56The maximum temperature forecast for the area today is possible to reach 32 degrees Celsius.

02:0134 degrees in the Tunggagarao area and 24 degrees Celsius in Baguio City.

02:06The maximum temperature forecast for Metro Manila today is possible to reach 33 degrees Celsius.

02:1232 degrees here in Legazpi and 32 degrees Celsius in Tagaytay.

02:18In the Palawan, Visayas and Mindanao areas,

02:21This is the western section of the Palawan areas.

02:26In the regions of Western Visayas, Tegros Island Region, in the Zamboanga Peninsula.

02:32For today, we expect a high chance of heavy rain showers and localized thunderstorms.

02:39This morning, the weather here in the Zamboanga Peninsula is still clear.

02:44However, there is a high chance of heavy rain showers and thunderstorms from afternoon to evening.

02:50There are also early morning thunderstorms here in the central and eastern portions of Visayas and Mindanao.

02:57These rain showers are just temporary.

02:59In the early morning to afternoon, in the southern part of Visayas and Mindanao,

03:05we expect fair weather conditions.

03:08In the late afternoon to evening, there are still chances of thunderstorms.

03:14These are sudden and temporary rain showers.

03:17The maximum temperature forecast for Calayaan Islands and Puerto Princesa today is possible to reach 32 degrees Celsius.

03:2432 degrees here in the areas of Iloilo, Cebu and Tacloban.

03:30The maximum temperature forecast for Cagayan de Oro today is possible to reach 32 degrees Celsius.

03:3533 degrees here in the areas of Davao and Zamboanga.

03:40In terms of our sea conditions, there are still no high gale warnings in any of our islands.

03:46And it is expected that the waves will be strong in a large part of our country.

03:52However, our fellow fishermen should still be careful

03:56because if there is an offshore thunderstorm activity,

03:59these rain showers in our coastal areas,

04:01especially here in the western section of Visayas and Mindanao,

04:04we expect strong winds.
