00:36know. I mean, if you're going to keep DPJ at this point, is it solely on size? Because
00:43he hasn't done a whole lot in the two games he's played and given it's somewhat limited
00:47action, but he hasn't stood out. So if you're going to tell me that you're going to keep
00:51DPJ over Isaiah Williams, either tells me you're only doing it for, you have to only
00:57be doing that for size because it's not based on production of what we've seen.
01:00It could have a lot to do with practice, right? I mean, it could have a lot to do with what
01:03we don't see. We're going to be a practice this week, given we'll be on the air and we
01:08won't be like charting every snap to see who stands out in practice. We'll be watching
01:13as much as we can. And there might be a little bit, he's a reliable, he's a veteran, he'll
01:18play a different role. I mean, one of the problems Isaiah Williams has is he's a natural
01:23slot receiver.
01:24Correct. And you've got Amin Ra and Kali Freeman, you know, and Isaiah Williams is helping himself
01:30with the return game. Although we did drop a return, but he also had two punt returns
01:35for 19 and 20 yards. And the 20 yarder was the one at the end of the game, which basically
01:41got him in the field goal range. And then they had a couple of plays after that. But
01:45with Brandon Joseph, Mikey had listed his defensive backs. I think there were 10 defensive
01:49backs total that he had on the roster. And I was going to my head before I saw the list.
01:54I'm like, okay, this guy, this guy, this guy, this, and they came up and I had 10 and Joseph
01:58was going to be my 10th. He had the same nine that I would have had, but his 10th was CJ
02:06Moore instead. Now CJ Moore has been on this team for a couple of years and he's really
02:10good at special teams. And I imagined that that, that might give him the edge. So this,
02:15this might be a really important week for, for Brandon Joseph. I, I feel like keeping
02:21four receivers and that King, we brought this up last week. I just, I don't think four is
02:25going to be number. I think they have to keep five. And I think Vaki on this team gives
02:30them some flexibility with, cause he's so good at special teams and he's going to be
02:36a running back guy as well. And you know, he does have that defensive background that
02:41we, it's, it's almost like a shh, don't tell anybody he was a safety, right. You know?
02:47And I wonder if that gives it, that gives a little bit more flexibility on this team
02:52of what they're going to do roster wise to open up that fifth spot, to keep a, to keep
02:55five receivers on the team.
02:57I think they keep four receivers from this current roster and get their fifth receiver
03:02outside the building. So I think they end up ultimately having five receivers on the
03:05team Gator. I'm just not sure that fifth receiver we've seen playing a lion's uniform
03:10this year.

03:29ever again. I'm good. I've seen enough. I'm straight. I think that you just made a valid
03:36point and I agree with you 1000%. The fact that Hendon Hooker is now practicing, he's
03:41getting reps. He's doing what you want to see. He's getting better, man. So I'm fine
03:46with him as a backup. Besides that one early rollout, he seems to throw a nice ball. It's
03:51pretty accurate. I'm good with him.
03:54Number two, the Vockie kid is going to help us because as we know, running backs in the
03:59NFL get dinged up, get banged up. I feel comfortable with him stepping in here and there, catching
04:03the ball. You get what I'm saying? I don't think he's an every down guy, but I can see
04:08how he's going to help us. And then lastly, guys, well, two more things. Williams should
04:13make this team. I definitely hope he makes this team because he can catch the ball. As
04:16long as you can catch the ball, I'm good with you and get open. Lastly, you know how I am
04:20about my offensive lineman. I've been watching them a new kid, guys. He got better last week.
04:25I don't think, yeah, I don't think he's a, I'm sticking with this one. I don't think
04:29he's a tackle because his lateral movement doesn't seem that great, but I watched it
04:34because I ain't had nothing to do this weekend. In the run game, he's dominated against those
04:37second and 13 and he's getting better in pass, bro. He's going to help us going forward too
04:41in about a year. I can see it.
04:44You know, the Manu thing, it would, he definitely looked better in game, game two. Um, the depth
04:50that this team appears to have now is, is making more, making me more comfortable. Um,
04:56I've had some guys banged up, but it doesn't sound like at this point that, you know, of
05:01the starters, people should be ready to go by the regular season. Cut day is a week from
05:06tomorrow. Cut day is a week from tomorrow. And they're going to be names on that list
05:10that people are going to go, Ooh, you know, it's a question I would love to ask Dan Campbell
05:17and Brad Holmes too. If you could change the roster number, what number would you make
05:24it? Because I feel like there's maybe, I don't know if it's a full handful, but it might
05:30be three or four guys that are going to be really difficult decisions for this team to
05:35leave off the roster. And a couple of them might be offensive linemen. I mean, you use
05:40a draft resource to draft Giovanni Manu and, and good. I, cause I like what he's, I like
05:45what I've seen as well. And, and, and sores doll and mahogany. Um, but other guys have
05:51played really well in the interim as well. And then you do, you go out and you bring
05:55up a Jamarco Jones and he grades out very well. According to pro football focus, he
06:00was one of the top offensive players they had out there and take that for whatever it's
06:04worth. But he's another guy who was an offensive lineman, a veteran offensive lineman who who's
06:08got something there who's not likely to make this roster. And I don't know if he can sneak
06:13him on the practice squad or, or, or not. I doubt it. Um, he'll probably be gone to
06:17another team. It's guys that are going to be, I feel like teams in the NFL are looking
06:22to see what the lions are going to do because no lines have put together a really good roster
06:27over the years. And now it's just a matter of, Hey, sorry, man, the bar's full. We can't
06:31let anybody in. You're on the outside.
