00:00New York, my city, where the wheels of the global economy never stop turning, a concrete
00:19metropolis of unparalleled strength and purpose that drives the business world.
00:27Manhattan is a tough place. This island is the real jungle. If you're not careful, it
00:33can chew you up and spit you out. But if you work hard, you can really hit it big, and
00:39I mean really big.
00:48My name's Donald Trump, and I'm the largest real estate developer in New York. I own buildings
00:53all over the place, model agencies, the Miss Universe pageant, jetliners, golf courses,
01:00casinos, and private resorts like Mar-a-Lago, one of the most spectacular states anywhere
01:05in the world. But it wasn't always so easy. About 13 years ago, I was seriously in trouble.
01:12I was billions of dollars in debt, but I fought back, and I won, big league. I used my brain.
01:19I used my negotiating skills, and I worked it all out. Now my company's bigger than it
01:24ever was, it's stronger than it ever was, and I'm having more fun than I ever had.
01:32I've mastered the art of the deal, and I've turned the name Trump into the highest quality
01:37brand. And as the master, I want to pass along my knowledge to somebody else. I'm looking
01:43for The Apprentice. Right now, from all over the country, 16 of America's best and brightest
01:56young entrepreneurs are arriving in New York for the chance to work as my apprentice and
02:02get a first-hand look into the world of big business. Trump Tower. They come from all
02:12walks of life. Some have their Ph.D. or a Harvard MBA and have learned their skills
02:18in the classroom. Others are self-made entrepreneurs. They own restaurants, or they're one of the
02:23top real estate professionals in the country. Some have only a high school diploma, and
02:28a few have left their successful small-town companies to come to New York City for the
02:33very first time. This is the chance to work for me at a huge salary, and more importantly,
02:47learn enough so that maybe they, too, can become a billionaire someday. This is going
02:52to be the dream job of a lifetime. Who will succeed? And who will fail? And who will be
04:21The next 13 weeks, these 16 candidates will embark on a unique job interview. They'll
04:28live together in a suite in Trump Tower, one of the great buildings of the world, right
04:32on Fifth Avenue. They'll be divided into two groups. Each week, they'll compete against
04:37one another in a series of tasks. The winning team will continue to live in their suite.
04:42The losers will come to my boardroom, where someone is fired and sent home. It's either
04:47the suite or the streets. Hi, good morning. How can I help you? I'm here to interview
04:58with Donald Trump. Sure, your name? Jessie Connors. The candidates have never met one
05:04another and come from various backgrounds. I'm Jessie Connors from New Richmond, Wisconsin.
05:10With only a high school diploma, I own a marketing firm and also sell real estate. I'm 21 years
05:14old. I'm Kwame Jackson. I'm 29 years old. I have an MBA from the Harvard Business School
05:19and have worked as an investment manager for a major Wall Street firm. My name is Erica
05:23Vetrini and I'm from New York City. I learned the ropes in my parents' neighborhood pizzeria
05:28and I'm now a marketing manager for one of the largest international cosmetics companies.
05:32Hi, I'm Troy McLean from Boise, Idaho. I sacrificed my higher education to take care of my mother
05:38and my disabled little sister. Now, with only a high school diploma, I'm the president of
05:42my own lending company. My name is Amelia Henry and I'm from Austin, Texas. I had stock
05:47options worth millions but lost it all in the dot-com bust. I have my MBA and work in
05:52the high-tech industry. I'm here to check in on the apprentice. What do I need to do?
05:56Bowie Hogg. I'm Bowie Hogg from Dallas, Texas. I have a business degree and work in sales
06:01for an express delivery service. My name is Christy Frank. I'm from Santa Monica, California
06:07and I own a restaurant and investment properties. I'm Dr. David Gould and I'm from New York
06:11City. After I graduated medical school and received my MD, I went on to earn my MBA at
06:16New York University. I now work as a healthcare venture capitalist. I'm here to see Mr. Trump.
06:21Omarosa Stallworth. My name is Omarosa Manigault Stallworth. I grew up in the projects but I
06:26am now a PhD candidate and work as a political consultant. Four years ago, I worked at the
06:31White House for the President of the United States. I'm Nick Warnock, the hardest working
06:35salesman in Los Angeles, California. I'm a full commission copier salesman. I don't have
06:40a salary which is a tough way to work. If I don't sell, I don't eat. I'm Katrina Kampen.
06:45I rank in the top 3% of realtors nationwide and I'm 23 years old. My name is Sam Solovey.
06:52I'm director of business development for an internet company that I co-founded. I'm just
06:56here for a meeting with Mr. Trump. And your name? Heidi. I'm Heidi Bressler. I'm from
07:01Philadelphia. I'm a senior account executive for one of the largest telecommunications
07:05companies in the world. My name is Bill Rancic. I'm 32 years old and I'm from Chicago. I
07:10founded the Cigar of the Month Club in a studio apartment and turned it into a multi-million
07:14dollar operation. I'm Jason Kuris. I'm 23 years old from Detroit, Michigan. I built
07:19a real estate development firm from the ground up. Now I rent 39 units to low income families.
07:25I'm Tammy Lee and I live in Seattle, Washington. I was a top stock broker for a firm on Wall
07:30Street. Hi. Hi. How can I help you? I'm here to see Donald Trump. Okay and your name? I'm
07:38Tammy Lee. Talk about first impressions. I didn't really feel the need to show any communication
07:45whatsoever with people that I don't even know. They were all just kind of wanting to communicate
07:50kind of non-verbally to each other. The only person I really need to be concerned with
07:55liking me, ostracizing me, is Donald Trump.
08:04Working for Trump is more than a big deal. It's a huge deal. Trump has certainly given everybody a shortcut to the American
08:10dream, but I'm going to earn the American dream just like everybody else. Hey, Mr. Trump.
08:14We'll see you now. You can go on over there.
08:25Welcome to New York. I've always said New York City is the real jungle. It's tougher in New York than
08:44any place in the world. You're going to find out what I mean. Okay, let's get started. I want to
08:50introduce somebody who's been with me for 25 years, George Ross. He's my executive vice president and senior
08:57counsel. On this side, this is Carolyn Kepcher. She's the chief operating officer of one of my
09:03companies and Carolyn is a killer. There are many men buried in her wake. These two will be my eyes
09:09and ears and will accompany you during your tasks. They're going to help me make a decision
09:14as to who ultimately is going to be working as the president of one of my companies
09:19and then we'll see how you do. This isn't a game. This is a 13-week job interview. Out of
09:26215,000 job applicants, you're the 16 people that I chose to go through 13 weeks of hell
09:34to determine who's going to work for me at the end. Now, some of you think that attending a top
09:40business school gives you an advantage. Others think that street smarts and hands-on experience
09:45are the best way to get ahead. Additionally, women have a tougher time in the workplace or so they say.
09:52Let's find out. We're going to be setting up two teams of eight each and I've decided it's going to
09:58be men against women. Each week, there'll be a business task to accomplish. Now, I may ask you to
10:07work as a street vendor or something tougher like working with Madison Avenue to create an ad campaign
10:13for corporate jets or renovating and leasing rundown apartments. Maybe even put on a rock
10:18concert. You will select a project manager who will lead your team in that task. I will hold
10:24the project manager at least partially responsible for a team's victory or failure. If your team loses,
10:31you will all meet me right here in the boardroom. You don't want to be in the boardroom
10:36because the losing team is going to sit in front of me and somebody is going home. All of you should
10:42be complimented, but the fact is there's only one going to be chosen. That one person will be
10:49president of one of my companies at a huge salary for a period of one year. Now, I want you to go up
10:56to the suite, enjoy yourself, and I'll see you tomorrow. Come on, get out of here.
11:02When I saw Trump today, just like it all came together right there. I want access to Trump.
11:14I want to get to know that guy, but I don't want it to be in the boardroom, back of a limousine,
11:19at a bar with his girlfriend. I don't care where it is, not in the boardroom.
11:33So
11:51my mama's going to be proud when she sees me. I love it. Well, this is very nice.
11:57I don't know why we're being so friendly with the men.
12:10I like this men versus women. This could be fun. The girls, they're smarter than what I guess some
12:15of the other guys are thinking, but if you pull one over on me, I'm going to 10 times you. I'm
12:19going to do you by 10 times, and my mind works like that, and I'll be able to pull something
12:23off a lot better than they will. I'm so glad it's girls against guys. I'm so happy.
12:28You have an MBA and an MD. Which one did you do first? MD. So you got done with your MD,
12:34and then you said, I don't really want to do this. It's not quite so simple. In my senior year of
12:39medical school, I was like, what can I do with an MD besides treat patients? And Wall Street was
12:43very receptive to someone like myself. I could handle it. David has an MBA and an MD, which is
12:47impressive, but you know what? I can't relate to David. Then I moved into venture capital,
12:52did deals with biotech companies and medical technology companies. I'm just thinking of
12:55school. How do you spend so much time in school? Entrepreneurs shouldn't be spending that much
13:00time in the classroom. They should be sweating and hungry, and when they hear an idea in the
13:05class, they want to go out and do it. Oh my gosh. Ladies, ladies, ladies, ladies.
13:22Follow me. Ladies, ladies, ladies. Follow me. Ladies, ladies, ladies, ladies. Come on ladies,
13:30let's go. Organization, that's my skill. Organizing and motivating people.
13:36So I just try to bring us all together. All right. Okay, you guys ready? We're ready. Welcome to
13:41Trump Tower. I hope your stay is enjoyable. To start, please enjoy some champagne and caviar.
13:49It is a taste of the life you could lead. But don't get used to it. There's much work to be
13:54done. Here's your first order of business. You need to think of a name for your group.
13:57From now on, your team will be known as a corporation. My office will phone you later
14:01with further instructions to Donald J. Trump. Guys, you have to be marketable. He's so big
14:05on naming everybody. We have to be marketable. Go. Okay. The envelope gave us our first task,
14:11and that task, although it seems really simple when you've got eight women,
14:16it became a three-hour ordeal of picking a name for your corporation. So we got to it. Our name
14:24has to communicate power. Power. Unity. Class. And shock. No idea. It's stupid. I think it's
14:30good. We can make something really easy like the BMA Corporation or something. Businessmen
14:35Associated. The BMA Corporation. Billionaire's Boys Club. BFB. Big bull. I love that. How about
14:45Donald's Darlings? We're all versatile. I mean, we're all guys who have different
14:56backgrounds. I like VersaCorp. I like VersaCorp. What is it? V-R-S-A. Corp. One word. VersaCorp.
15:13By God, can I say we all got together and made a decision? Let's put it right here, baby.
15:19We did the name for the organization, and they named it VersaCorp. I wasn't a big proponent
15:24of that. I don't think it's flashy. I don't think it represents all of us. And I don't
15:28think Trump will particularly love the name. I mean, VersaCorp. It's dumb. It's corny.
15:36I thought of one other. What? Protégé. Hey, I love that. You like it? I just offered up a
15:46suggestion for a group, and it was accepted. When I have something to say, I'll make sure it's put
15:50out there. If it's sort of just an idea, and I'm not sure myself, and I want to see if it's
15:54receptive, I don't care if it goes or flies. But if it's something that I believe in, then I'm
15:58going to push for it, and then I'm sure it'll come across that way.
16:13Uh-oh, phone is ringing. You know who that is. That's Donald Trump. No, I don't know.
16:17That's Donald Trump.
16:20Hello? Hi, this is Ronan, Trump's office. He asked me to call you and tell you to meet him
16:26tomorrow morning at the New York Stock Exchange. We're leaving here at 5.45 a.m.
16:33Can I hang up on you? I've never been to the Stock Exchange. It's overwhelming. It really is.
16:38And immediately, I'm thinking, what the hell are we going to be asked to do in there?
16:42The telephone rang, and they called to tell that we're going to the New York Stock Exchange.
16:47What time? The first task is crucial because it will set the precedent for all the other tasks
16:53to come. I think the women will win because the eight women that are in there are very strong
16:59individuals. And I think men, these men, although they won't admit it, may feel it's a bit of a
17:05disadvantage not to have us on their side. If it really does involve something in a building on
17:10Wall Street, it would not be inappropriate to wear a tie. You might need to do suits. Do you
17:13need a jacket to go? No, you don't. On the floor of the exchange, you really could have a jacket.
17:17But there's no way they're putting us on the floor of the exchange. They're not. They're
17:19without talent. I have no idea what the first task is going to be, nor do I care.
17:27We are now really working as a team together, and we are here to win.
17:32Game's on. Game's been on for me since I showed up off the plane.
17:50All right, come on over, everybody.
17:54Welcome to the New York Stock Exchange. This is really and truly the center of the world
18:01for big business. Forty billion dollars is traded each and every day, and there's no place like
18:08this anywhere in the world. Now, I guess you have visions of something big, something glamorous,
18:15but that's not going to be it. We're bringing you back to basics. You're going to go outside,
18:21and you're going to sell lemonade. We'll start you off with $250 seed money,
18:27and at the end of the day, 730, we're going to see who made the most money,
18:34the women or the men. It's very simple. Now, the ladies look to me like they're more excited.
18:40The men, I must tell you, are a little bit stiff.
18:49Who is your project manager? Your name? Troy McClain.
18:54What is your team name? VersaCorp.
18:56That's a pretty interesting name. Who's your leader?
18:59Erica Vitrini. Okay, Erica.
19:02What's your team name? Meat Potege Corporation.
19:05Very good. We like that.
19:06That's very good. I'm glad.
19:08I'll tell you, they're looking awfully good, fellas. I'm a little bit worried about you.
19:12All right, look, you're going to be on the killer streets of New York.
19:16Go out there. I'll see you at 730. Who's going to make the most money? Let's see. Go ahead.
19:38I've always felt location is important, but the people behind the deal are much more important
20:00than location. I'd much rather have a really smart, talented guy doing a deal in a not-so-good
20:06location than an idiot doing a deal in a great location, because you'll make money every time.
20:12The key to success is location, location, location. You're assigned to finding the
20:16location. You need to know where the location is at. We have $250. Let's use that. Let's maximize
20:23that. Let's use our seed money. It was so surreal to me. Trump's standing up there on that podium,
20:28and he says, boys, girls, we're going to go back to the basics. And I'm thinking,
20:33oh, my God, we're going back to basic sales 101. I certainly didn't think I was going back to
20:37sixth grade selling lemonade. Now we're going to go get our cups and supplies. That'll give us the
20:43skeleton. You guys will be the veins. We've got a location. OK, got it. I think Seaport is set.
20:48Seaport's our location. Seaport is this way, probably a 10-minute walk. Lead us to Seaport
20:51right now. Let's go to location, gentlemen. That's what I mean. We'll have a runner. We'll
20:55call them up. Ready? Here we go. I'm going to know the rules. We got that down pat.
21:00I was selected as project manager because I actually thought up the name protege. It was
21:06definitely difficult being a project manager because people are throwing responsibility
21:09in your court when they don't want to take it upon themselves. You guys, listen. We've got
21:13to get a table. We don't need a table. That is the old-fashioned way to sell lemonade,
21:17from a little table. It's the image, though. It's the image. One point. It's the image.
21:21I would rather invest my money in my product. I'm not carrying a table. I'll carry it. No,
21:27no. We're back home. Listen, that's why we split into two teams, and you let us do what we are.
21:32We'll carry the table. We were all sitting in a circle, huddling, yelling at each other,
21:37and I don't think anyone was being affected for the first hour. I really didn't appreciate being
21:41told I was the one in charge, but then being said, this is what we're doing, and I don't,
21:44and I don't want to be in charge. I want us to all have our own thing. Let's not take it personal.
21:47I was not targeting you. And that's what I saw happen. We have absolutely no leadership. Erica
21:51is very emotional. When you're doing business, you got to stay focused on the task and keep your
21:55emotion out of it. She's totally irrational right now. I love that these people are telling me to
22:01like tell them what to do, but then they're like, this is what we're doing. The bottom line is,
22:04if we're fighting, we're never going to get back. Let's go. Let's go. I know.
22:12This is the seaport where you see all those big ships, that commercial area. There's going to be
22:15tourists there all day. It's a beautiful day. That should be our main location. We chose a
22:19location. We thought about where to get supplies. We were trying to get up to speed as quickly in
22:23terms of selling lemonade. You and I will grab the cups. You grab the markers. Right now, we need
22:28to get the foundation. Cups, lemonade, look wherever you can look. Time is money, man. Everybody did
22:33fantastic. You know, they were the wind beneath the wings. They did awesome. Found the lemonade.
22:37We got our feet underneath us and we ran with it. Thank you, ma'am. Kwame came up with an absolute
22:43creative idea. What we're trying to get your help in is trying to set up a successful lemonade.
22:47Let me ask you for a couple other things. He got a vendor to give stuff to us for no charge.
22:53Would you give us free cups if we brought more people in? We need free cups. You will do that?
22:56Yeah. We're going to be here at 1.30 selling. We got free ice, free cups, a free cart. This is
23:02wonderful. This is fabulous. Oh, this is a lot of fun. That really helped us in terms of saving a
23:10lot of our initial capex that we could just kind of bank instead of, you know, spending it on supplies.
23:15I just don't know how to do radio. I know how to use it. Show her how to do that. What's the
23:23organization? What's the steps? I know how to use it. I think we should have a group of two or three
23:28and the rest of you out marketing until the product gets there. Yeah, I agree. Are you guys
23:31buying by yourselves? Yeah. You guys are Rockefeller Center. Bye, girls. Okay, good. Kick ass. Come on.
23:38Let's go. Amy and I split off because we knew we could buy the product quickly with the whole group.
23:43There's a lot of talking. There's a lot of attitude. We just wanted to get it done and
23:47let them handle the rest of it. Do we know where we're going? You're the project manager.
23:52Now, we're going to start selling lemonade in the next 10 minutes.
24:15Thank you so much. Have a good day.
24:17You got one? Everybody got one? This lemonade is really good. Absolutely.
24:24It's a hard-earned dollar that I'm about to spend on this lemonade.
24:31It's tasty. How you doing today, man? Troy McClain from Boise, Idaho. How you doing, sir?
24:36Troy McClain, can I have a talk with you for a second? Troy's doing a good job. He's keeping
24:40people positive, which I think is the most important thing. We have everything we need.
24:44I'm confident until the day's over. One, two, three, Bersagor.
24:55Guys, please meet us at 5039. Tell me if you copy.
24:58Fifty-third and nine. Yes, we'll be right there. We've got everything and we'll start making it.
25:09I hope we're heading the right direction. Where's our girls? Oh, they're so far back.
25:12I was so caught up in, like, the direction of everybody, and I made the stupid mistake
25:16of not looking and seeing which way was east and west and just asking a stranger.
25:19Excuse me, where's Rockefeller Center? Rockefeller Center's right here.
25:23Right here, straight ahead? Straight ahead? Perfect, yeah.
25:26And he pointed in a direction, and it was the wrong direction.
25:29Oh, my God. What? Why does that say Farragut? Is that right?
25:33I can't believe we did. I can't. That guy was, like, 90 this way.
25:37Please tell me if you hear me. We have a little bit of a problem.
25:39Right now, we have to find our team members that have the product so we can start selling.
25:43We're having a difficult time communicating with them and getting on the same page as to
25:46where we're supposed to meet and where we're supposed to be.
25:48We just screwed up. We're at 50... We're at 53rd and Park. Where are you?
25:54Okay, read on there how many cans. Let's put one gallon in and see what
25:58this is like, because we need to delete it. Amy? No. Amy? I can't hear her.
26:03Omarosa? I can't hear. Here, I'll go. I'll go.
26:06We got lemonade. We made lemonade. We didn't answer the phone because we didn't hear the
26:10phone because we're ready to do whatever it takes to sell this thing and make a lot of money.
26:14It's the best lemonade you'll ever have. We're going nowhere. We're going in circles
26:18right now. We've got to regroup.
26:19But we're going in the wrong direction. We are a mile off our target.
26:21We can't hear you. Where are you?
26:26Erica's the first project manager. Little does she know, or is she not thinking,
26:30that if we are not successful at this task, she goes up.
26:34Just please get in touch with us. We have no idea where you are right now,
26:37and we're really f****** concerned.
26:47Coming up on The Apprentice. Tammy stopped for a lunch break.
26:51We haven't had a glass of water all day. We made Kwame the location guy.
26:56And in the end, who stays and who goes? You're fired.
27:04Guys, give me some exact address of where you are and what you're doing.
27:12Tell us what you're doing. We're at 53rd and Park. Can you get into a cab
27:15and head to 53rd and Park? Let me know.
27:23We'll come to you.
27:24All right, guys, we are going to meet you at 53rd and 9th.
27:28No, 8th.
27:28No, they're going to 9th, though.
27:29Okay.
27:30We're meeting you to 53rd and 9th.
27:32The beginning was totally a nightmare logistically,
27:34because we couldn't meet up with them, and that was just a nightmare.
27:36This is worse than being in the jungle.
27:39Guys! Guys! We found them!
27:44But now we're all together, and the energy is back on being high,
27:47and we're doing a great job. I am so fortunate to have these girls working for me.
27:54Lemonade. Lemonade. Lemonade. Lemonade.
28:03My feet hurt. I want to go home.
28:07Right now, what I'm doing is I'm selling lemonade on the streets of New York City,
28:11and my feet hurt. I mean, that's the thing I'm maddest about right now is my feet are killing me.
28:17Let's go with three right now. Three's fine.
28:21It's hot out on those streets.
28:23Tammy stopped for a lunch break. We haven't had a glass of water all day,
28:28and she spends the money for lunch. I'm pissed off.
28:31She's having a latte. Tammy, look at her. She's in the window having food.
28:35I'm going to keep on selling because we have money to make, but that is absolute bull.
28:38Okay, come here.
28:39Tammy is not really focused on being a part of the team.
28:43Success in business is focused not only on individual contribution,
28:46but working as a team as well. It was a 10-minute break.
28:48That's fine. 10 minutes it is. Can we go get water?
28:50Lunch. Lunch. Okay. All right.
28:52I convinced her to walk with me to the store so that I could have some time with her to talk with
28:56her. I want to know why you guys are complaining about me. Honestly.
28:58Collectively, you have been jailed. And I confide in Tammy. I said,
29:02Tammy, the women are not feeling as though you're making an effort to connect with them.
29:06My strategy for you is to simply reach out to the women, start participating in these activities.
29:13You know, we just got to hit it hard until 730.
29:16I think we are hitting it hard. We are doing everything we can do.
29:18Tammy says, okay, okay, I'm going to try. We walk back to the corner where our lemonade stand is.
29:23The first thing she announces is, do you guys have a problem with the fact that I went and
29:27took an hour break? I'm just getting the impression that people are upset with me.
29:32No, I kind of asked her that when I just explained to you. We just walked for 10 minutes and I just
29:37explained to you that that was not a big issue. I'm just saying, I'm getting the impression
29:39people are not happy with the fact that we all have a balance.
29:43You know, how do you build a relationship with somebody who you can't confide in?
29:46So as of now, I'm done with trying to help bring Tammy into the boat.
29:51Lemonade.
29:57They said the American dream started from selling lemonade.
30:00Lemonade for sale.
30:02How about a glass of lemonade? Real tasty.
30:06Look at Dave. Dave, slow down. Slow down, Dave.
30:15Over here.
30:16Dave.
30:16Oh, Dave.
30:18No, no. Don't run. Don't do that.
30:21David, I mean, he's a brilliant guy. He's got an MBA. He's got an MD,
30:24but he just needed a little help moving the product.
30:27One dollar, one dollar, one dollar, one dollar, one dollar, one dollar.
30:30Two dollar, two dollar, two dollar, two dollar.
30:32Nine dollar, nine dollar, nine dollar.
30:34All right, forget it.
30:35Booing's home and tone it down. He's attacking.
30:39You're not going to believe this. The men are at that smelly Fulton Fish Market
30:43trying to sell lemonade. It's a terrible location and there's nobody here.
30:48I've got to go. Bye.
30:54Definitely a slow time with the lemonade today.
30:56We need to get business pick it up. We're dying a slow death out here right now.
31:01That's about the lunch rush that we're going to get.
31:04That's lunch.
31:05This location just didn't cut it.
31:06All right, so we need to move. We need to move now.
31:09We made Kwame the location guy. He picked the seaport.
31:14Seaport bad, man.
31:16We're going to go to a new location, set up, and just hustle.
31:18Where are people going? We got to get the traffic going.
31:21Yeah, we better get moving right now.
31:24It's kind of warm.
31:34We've been working so hard, the ice melted.
31:38I wouldn't pay five dollars for a glass of lemonade,
31:41but if it was served by a very pretty girl, you'd be surprised.
31:44I might pay a dollar for the lemonade, four dollars for the girl.
31:48It's for the lemonade, but the bonus is my phone number.
31:50What's your name? Derek.
31:52Derek, thank you so much.
31:54When we sold the lemonade, I was surprised that,
31:56yeah, I did use sex to sell lemonade.
31:58Trying to make some money on the street.
32:00Another street sounded bad. We're just trying to make some money.
32:02Is this your corner?
32:02It's not my corner.
32:04People may think it's selling sex.
32:06To be honest with you, my style of selling is just, it's me being Heidi.
32:10Oh, my God.
32:12Hello, little puppy.
32:14And it's the same style used here as I use in corporate America.
32:18Hello.
32:19Holy s***.
32:20Oh, my God.
32:22Wait, I'll take the lemonade.
32:23Thank you so much.
32:25Oh, look at that.
32:26Thanks, you guys. High five.
32:27There you go.
32:28Okay, so now we made $15 off of you guys.
32:31Good sell.
32:32I would not pay $5 for our lemonade, much less $20, but we did it.
32:37All right, guys, good job.
32:39One, two, three.
32:51How are you doing?
32:52Ice cold lemonade for a dollar?
32:54No, all right.
32:55Wall Street lemonade, a dollar lemonade.
32:58It's frozen lemonade.
33:02You better have gotten $5 from that lady.
33:04She's like rich.
33:04Nothing, there's nothing.
33:06I think I would have had sex with her to sell lemonade.
33:08How about a lemonade for a dollar, sir?
33:10The ship was going down.
33:11I mean, I knew it.
33:13At that point, we needed to do anything we could.
33:15I'm concerned at the state of the game.
33:16I'm a little concerned myself.
33:18I don't know if this market's a good market.
33:20There's not a lot of people here either.
33:22That's the problem.
33:24We might have been better off fishing in an old hole.
33:26No, that was horrible.
33:27Yeah, but how much better are we doing right now?
33:29I mean, we had to get out of there.
33:30We weren't making anything.
33:31We're not making nothing right now.
33:33We're not having success.
33:34We got to think bigger, and women sell products.
33:38They sell products not only to men, but to women.
33:41Now, you know, we've had a tough day, and I got a theory.
33:44You can sell this lemonade better than I do.
33:46So what I want to do is, take this, take this.
33:48Hold it.
33:49Oh my God.
33:49Stay right here for one second.
33:51Excuse me, sir.
33:52We need you for like 30 seconds.
33:54Jennifer here is selling the best lemonade, money back guaranteed.
33:57Oh, I don't know.
33:58I'm too poor.
33:59I'm an employee.
34:00But it's money back guarantee.
34:01So what should we do?
34:02You're making us look bad.
34:03What is this gap?
34:04This is very strange.
34:05Can I tell you something?
34:06What?
34:06I'm about this close to bagging.
34:07I'm not going to pay for my lemonade.
34:09I'm a New Yorker.
34:11What Samuel was trying to do was get hot women to help sell.
34:13I think everyone knows that sex sells, and that's fine.
34:16But we just needed him to focus on some things
34:18that were a little bit more tangible.
34:19And he let the team down, I think, on that regard.
34:22Are you doing well?
34:23I am, Sam, but you're irking me.
34:25I'm going to tell you the truth about it.
34:27I'm just giving you honest feedback.
34:28It's a high volume pitch.
34:30You know, that's why you just got to turn over.
34:32It's all numbers game.
34:33You don't need to spend 5, 10 minutes with a customer.
34:35I know.
34:35I got you.
34:35You don't.
34:36I know.
34:37We're doing OK.
34:38The goal of the task is to make as much as we can.
34:40Right.
34:41Are you doing OK?
34:42Yeah.
34:42I don't think these guys get it.
34:44They don't get it.
34:45And they think I'm a nut.
34:46And you know what?
34:46We may have to get some guy to give us $1,000.
34:51I believe if you buy that lemonade for $1,000
34:55that you're going to have a story to tell.
34:59Donald Trump has got people paying top dollar for real estate
35:03in Manhattan, in New York, New York,
35:05where other people are getting 50% of what he's getting.
35:08Donald Trump is selling lemonade for $1,000 a cup.
35:11Now, let me see.
35:12I sort of lost you guys a little bit.
35:14I'm giving you my word that if you write me a check
35:18for $1,000 for that glass of lemonade
35:21that you are going to experience the American dream.
35:26Mr. Trump has got to, on some level,
35:30be impressed with someone who's got the guts
35:34to sell a cup of lemonade for $1,000.
35:36That is a killer thing to do.
35:38This guy is going crazy.
35:40I'm not going crazy.
35:41I'm going to retire in a few years.
35:42Otherwise, I would have done it just for the heck of it.
35:47I'm deeply frustrated because, you know,
35:50my weaknesses are actually being shown today.
35:52I have not earned the respect of my team
35:55and it's causing a problem
35:56because this is a much easier task
35:59than it's being made out to be.
36:00I think we just got to-
36:01We got to solve it.
36:02One dollar at a time.
36:03You know what?
36:04It was worth a shot.
36:05How long did that take you, talking with that man?
36:07It took 20 minutes.
36:08About that, yeah.
36:09But you know what?
36:09There was a chance it could have happened.
36:11I believe there's a chance.
36:12But you weren't selling lemonade.
36:15I tried.
36:16I tried.
36:18Here's what we need, guys.
36:19We got the last 60 minutes.
36:20Obviously, we got to rally together.
36:21So let's go sell.
36:22Let's get it all done.
36:23I feel that the team got off to a slumpy start,
36:25but I'll tell you what.
36:26I still believe in my team
36:27and I think that we're going to pull ahead
36:29and we're going to finish this out strong.
36:31Wait a second there, Troy.
36:32That's selling.
36:32Don't worry about it.
36:33Right now, start selling.
36:34We got to sell.
36:35He just bought me a cup.
36:36I sure do appreciate it.
36:37Thank you very much, sir.
36:38It's a pleasure.
36:39From one country boy to another.
36:41We got Italian lemonade.
36:43Just made.
36:43$2 a glass.
36:45I really appreciate that.
36:47You tell me it's not good.
36:50Even though it is not in front of them.
36:53I got seven left on my tray.
36:54Okay, keep going.
36:55This is something I've never seen in the village.
36:57So I got to tell you right here.
36:58I got to do it because you tried so hard.
37:00Yeah, thank you very much.
37:02How did we tally up, gentlemen?
37:04I don't want to be that arrogant
37:07to think I beat the women,
37:09but I also want to be that confident to think I beat them.
37:12And I don't think that I beat anybody.
37:15I think that we beat them.
37:17Gentlemen, fantastic job today.
37:19One, two, three, Mercy Corps.
37:39Okay, folks, I'm really busy today.
37:41So we're going to go quickly.
37:45Carolyn, how did they do?
37:48The men?
37:48Um, I think they found a location very quickly.
37:51I think they tapped into some local resources
37:54and other shops, et cetera.
37:55And they were able to double their money.
37:57It's not bad business.
37:59So they doubled the money.
38:00Not bad.
38:02Not bad.
38:08Thank you, sir.
38:12Now we find out the other side.
38:13George?
38:14Started off with mass confusion.
38:16I was a lot taller than I am now.
38:17I ran my legs off.
38:18After a while, they did get their act together.
38:20I thought that they sold pretty well,
38:22and they not only doubled their money,
38:23they quadrupled it.
38:24They made over $1,200.
38:27What can I say?
38:29The numbers speak for themselves.
38:31Men, you only doubled your money,
38:33but the women had a 400% profit.
38:36The women are the winners of the first task,
38:38and it wasn't even close.
38:43Women, great job.
38:44It's a little treat.
38:46You're going to see the nicest apartment
38:48in New York City.
38:49It's my apartment.
38:50So you be up there, one o'clock at my apartment.
38:54Guys, they killed you.
38:56They really gave you a good beating.
38:59So you're not going to be seeing my apartment.
39:00You're going to be seeing the boardroom
39:02where somebody has to get fired.
39:36I think we sold as much lemonade as we possibly could.
39:42There are a couple of holes in terms of
39:44how we did the planning process
39:45and being too frenzied in the beginning,
39:46but I think after I learned how well the girls did,
39:48I felt like, OK, we could have done a lot better.
39:51I didn't expect them to outpace us by,
39:53you know, $700 or whatever.
39:55That's a lot.
39:59I'm sure they did a great job.
40:01They obviously did.
40:02Obviously.
40:03They just spanked us,
40:05and we'll come back.
40:07So let them reap the rewards right now.
40:09But don't get us wrong.
40:11We would have rather been there.
40:12That's the part that sucks.
40:13I'm a little disappointed that we're not going up
40:14to Trump's penthouse today.
40:16It would have been nice.
40:17And they have nothing to worry about tonight.
40:19They know tomorrow they'll all be there.
40:21Well, obviously we need tips from the ladies.
40:23Yeah.
40:35Oh, my God.
40:50This kind of reminds me of my house.
40:52Oh, my God.
40:53This reminds me of, like, um...
40:55I feel like I'm at home.
40:56Wait a minute.
40:56Wait a minute.
40:57Look at this door.
40:57Oh, my God.
40:58Look at this.
41:02Hi.
41:05Hello.
41:07Look at that view.
41:09Oh, my God.
41:11This is, like, rich.
41:12It's, like, really, really rich.
41:14Look at this.
41:15Look at you guys.
41:16Come here.
41:16When we went up to Donald's apartment,
41:20words can't describe how beautiful it was.
41:23Everything you saw was breathtaking.
41:26And we got to meet his girlfriend, Melania,
41:30who was amazing as well.
41:31Hi.
41:32Hi, I'm Melania.
41:34Nice to meet you.
41:35I'm Melania.
41:35How are you?
41:36Who was the third and...
41:38We all were.
41:38We all were so excited.
41:39Wow.
41:40That's great.
41:40Of course.
41:41Yeah.
41:41How do you clean a house like this?
41:43Well, you have your people to clean.
41:47You're very, very lucky.
41:49Oh, thank you.
41:50And he's not lucky.
41:52Oh, no, no, no, no, no.
41:53He's very, very lucky.
41:55Hello, everybody.
41:58They don't even know who I am, see?
41:59Oh, hi.
42:00How are you?
42:01Congratulations.
42:02Congratulations.
42:03So, look, if you're really successful,
42:07you'll all live just like this.
42:09We can only wish.
42:10Maybe not.
42:11Maybe not.
42:12Or maybe even better.
42:13But if you're really successful,
42:15I mean, this is what it is.
42:16And it's fun.
42:17It's a lot of fun.
42:17It's a lot of fun.
42:18It's a lot of fun.
42:19It's a lot of fun.
42:20It's a lot of fun.
42:20It's a lot of fun.
42:21It's a lot of fun.
42:22It's a lot of fun.
42:23It's a lot of fun.
42:24And it's fun.
42:25I show this apartment to very few people.
42:28Presidents, kings.
42:29Let me give you a little tour.
42:30Oh, yay.
42:31Okay?
42:32I love that.
42:33And they walk in, they look around,
42:35and they really can't believe what they're seeing.
42:37They just feel it's amazing.
42:39And if you watch over here,
42:41you'll see something.
42:46We got to see a different side of him,
42:48a more personable side.
42:49He was having a lot more fun.
42:51Okay.
42:52This is the dining room.
42:54When's the last time you actually ate dinner here?
42:56Long time ago.
42:57That's a very good question.
42:58That's a very good question.
43:01So this is the beginning.
43:02Now you have to put on your competitive hat again,
43:05forget about this,
43:06and go out and work and see how you can do
43:08because you want to win.
43:10Thanks for having us.
43:10Okay.
43:11Enjoy yourselves.
43:12Thank you, everybody.
43:15He gave us some advice.
43:17He said, work hard and have fun.
43:20And I really, truly believe that
43:22that's how he lives his life.
43:25Oh, my gosh.
43:26This is so rich.
43:28This is like really rich.
43:44Guys, all I'd like to say is
43:46everybody did a great job.
43:47Fantastic.
43:49You all just did better.
43:50I think one thing is that tonight at five o'clock,
43:53and whether we do this now or we do this later,
43:55we're going to be posed with a very difficult question.
43:58Someone's going to have to accept,
44:01to some degree, responsibility for this.
44:02Who's walking out of here and why?
44:05I'm worried.
44:06I'm worried without a doubt about going in tonight.
44:08I have no idea what to expect.
44:09I feel like I'm a good debater,
44:10but I know Donald Trump can out-debate me anytime
44:12and will call me and kind of throw me under the bus.
44:15I would go in thinking, you know,
44:16thinking as a unit
44:17because that's what I think we need.
44:19We need to know that when we leave there,
44:21we're going to be one man short.
44:22I mean, yeah, I don't think there's any denying.
44:24I mean, you know, somebody's going to be in the crosshairs.
44:27You know, you're starting to look at each other and go,
44:30all right, is there lines being drawn in the sand?
44:32You just don't know.
44:33Right now, I'm going to the boardroom
44:34and I'm the team captain.
44:35I'm the one that was elected to guide this ship
44:37to success or failure.
44:40So I have a certain amount of accountability.
44:42Just one thing I ask,
44:43we praise people first, criticize second,
44:46state the positives first, negative second.
44:54In a few minutes,
44:55I'm going to get ready to go to the boardroom meeting
44:56where we sit down with Trump and his viceroys.
45:00And actually, I'm somewhat looking forward to it.
45:02I'm confident in my ability at verbal self-defense
45:05and able to go on the aggressive if need be.
45:07I think multiple people are worried,
45:09but the only one with a high degree of anxiety is him.
45:12You get your anxiety all up, settle down.
45:14Deep breath in, good luck.
45:16Let it out, Swami.
45:17Let it out.
45:18Deep breath, do it for me.
45:20Man, doesn't that feel good?
45:22Settle down, man.
45:22I'd like to take down some notes on the computer.
45:25I want to have some praise
45:26and some constructive criticism
45:28at everybody on the team.
45:30I'm personally getting a bad energy from David.
45:33If Trump's looking forward to his future president,
45:36I think he may see that David's not the guy
45:38and he may ounce him out immediately.
45:40But you don't know.
45:41You don't know.
45:42You don't know what gets that guy going
45:45and what he's evaluating.
45:48It isn't just about selling lemonade.
45:49That I know.
45:55Good luck.
45:56See you, everybody.
45:57Goodbye.
45:57Good luck.
45:59That's right.
46:01Bye, guys.
46:01Bye-bye.
46:43You had a little bit of a rough day.
46:46George, what do you think?
46:48Working for Trump is a very serious business.
46:50Whoever's going to get the job ultimately
46:52is going to spend a lot of time with me.
46:54And I don't want to deal with an idiot.
46:56What's easier than selling lemonade?
46:58What do you need?
46:59Location, location, location.
47:01You got to pick out the spot
47:02where the most people are there
47:03that your potential customers.
47:04Some of the locations were a little bit better than others.
47:06We were initially in a great location
47:08right next to the seaport.
47:09I do know that Fulton Street Fish Market
47:10is right next to it.
47:11And so I just thought it would be an easy place
47:13to get to, set up quickly,
47:14and be ready for the lunchtime crowd.
47:15Setting up at the Fulton Fish Market
47:17with the stink of the, you know, the fish market,
47:21to me, it's not very tempting.
47:23David, if you were the team leader,
47:25do you think the result would have been different?
47:27Not in this case because sales stopped my forte.
47:31Sam?
47:31Yes, I think things would have been different.
47:33You think you would have won?
47:34Part of being a leader, part of being a coach
47:36is that you put your ideas out there
47:38and you make sure that they're at least tried.
47:41So you don't think Troy did a very good job then?
47:44First of all, Troy is a hustler of the nth degree
47:48and he displayed some amazing leadership qualities.
47:52I think Troy's weakness yesterday was my weakness.
47:56It's listening skills.
47:57Jason, what about you?
47:58You've been sitting here very quietly.
48:00Got something to say?
48:01I'm just kind of listening to what everybody says.
48:04Yeah, and unfortunately at this point,
48:06listeners, we got plenty.
48:08I understand that, but I'm not just going to talk the talk.
48:10Everybody here is a good leader.
48:11I'm not going to argue with that
48:12and I'll stick up for everybody on that.
48:13But...
48:14But they're saying that Troy isn't a good leader.
48:17Well, I didn't finish.
48:18I'm saying that...
48:19Now, Jason, let me just say something.
48:20When you're trying to be chosen by someone,
48:24you don't interrupt them and say, let me finish.
48:26That's number one, you know, in terms of life.
48:28We're talking about life, right, fellas?
48:29Yes, sir.
48:30So when I ask you a question
48:33and I'm not finished with the question,
48:34you don't say, let me finish.
48:36That's a bad move.
48:37You know.
48:38Jason, do you think if you were the leader,
48:40the result would have been different?
48:42Yes, I think the result would have been different.
48:43Why, Jason?
48:44Troy was the leader.
48:45And really, the leader is supposed to listen,
48:47take everything in,
48:48and then at that point, decide what's going on.
48:50Not all of a sudden get out of the gate
48:51and start delegating.
48:52Do you think they would have listened to you?
48:54Yeah, because I would have listened to them.
48:56See, I think that's business school stuff.
48:58You have to act, not just listen.
49:01Troy.
49:02It's easy to answer these questions today.
49:04Monday Morning Quarterback.
49:05Because you're a Monday Morning Quarterback.
49:07You're right.
49:07But by God, I had the balls to step up
49:09and I kept positive with my team as much as I could.
49:13I told Kwame, this is the location.
49:15I back you up.
49:16You made your decision.
49:17That's it.
49:18As far as Troy is concerned is he did delegate.
49:21If you pick the right person, you're a hero.
49:22If you pick the wrong person, you're a bum.
49:24It's as simple as that.
49:25But I also think you have to have the ability
49:27to make the decision and make it stick
49:29and may God have mercy that you made the right one.
49:32Well, I actually do disagree with the two of you
49:34because I think you're very inconsistent
49:36in your leadership.
49:37You backed up Kwame, but you didn't back up Sam.
49:39So you're saying he was a selective leader?
49:41I think he was a selective leader.
49:43Who do you think, Jason?
49:45Who's the worst leader?
49:46I would probably say Sam.
49:50Sam.
49:52Sam.
49:53Wow.
49:55Sam.
49:56I would actually say Sam as well.
49:58Sam.
49:59Is that because Sam is going over the edge?
50:03I can answer that question.
50:06He doesn't earn the respect of the team.
50:08Sam.
50:09So who do you think is the worst leader?
50:11David.
50:12Why is he the worst leader?
50:14I don't know if David believes in himself as a leader.
50:17Oh, really?
50:19Sam, they are killing you.
50:20I just want to make something very clear.
50:21What are you doing here, Sam?
50:22I'm getting angry here, actually.
50:22They are killing you.
50:23By doing what he did, did he go over the edge?
50:26He went over the edge.
50:27Every one of these guys think that you're not so hot.
50:32But you have to be careful.
50:35You're making the decision.
50:36No, I'm making the decision.
50:37That's true.
50:37Absolutely true.
50:38You know what?
50:38I have to be careful.
50:39But you have to be careful, Sam.
50:40I am your president, Mr. Trump.
50:41I'm going to stand right here in front of you.
50:43And I'm going to say it in front of everybody here.
50:46I will not break the rules for your organization.
50:48If you tell me I'm coming close, I will stop.
50:51And if you have to punch me in the stomach
50:53and tell me to sit down and shut up, I'll shut up and I'll learn.
50:56Mr. Trump, I don't want to work for anybody else in this country.
50:59I come and work for you and be your apprentice
51:01and follow the rules.
51:03You want to work for the best.
51:04I'm learning here.
51:05That's a big stretch.
51:06No, it's not a big stretch for me, Mr. Trump, because I learn fast.
51:09You don't believe in the genetic pool?
51:11That what you have, you have?
51:13I've got genetic pool big time, Mr. Trump.
51:15Just like you got from your father, Fred Trump,
51:17and your mother, Mary Trump.
51:19All right.
51:19Well, I hope you're right.
51:21I hope you're right.
51:21Now listen, Troy, you may be the project manager,
51:25but you're not the only one responsible for the failure of this corporation.
51:29I want you to tell me who the two people are you feel
51:32are equally responsible for your team's loss
51:35and really would not be essentially a good president of one of my companies.
51:42I'm going to ask Sam to join us in the boardroom.
51:46I also think that David should join us in the boardroom.
51:50Okay, I'm going to ask the five, Jason, Nick, Kwame, Bowie, and Bill.
51:56Go back up to the suite.
51:58You three, Troy, Sam, and David, go outside.
52:02We're going to have a little discussion and you'll come back momentarily.
52:06Thank you, sir.
52:28How do you feel about Troy?
52:33I see him turn on the charm, but I've actually seen him in action
52:36and I think he was somewhat inconsistent.
52:39David, Donald Trump is a forward-thinking guy.
52:41I don't sense that you are necessarily going to be the guy
52:45who's ultimately going to be the president of one of his organizations.
52:47I think he may be a-
52:48Wait and see.
52:49I'll tell you what I didn't like about David.
52:50You asked David, did Sam step over the line?
52:54Sam did not step over that legal line.
52:56He did not break the rules.
52:57You know what, that's important that you say that
52:59because I sort of thought he did and you were there and you don't think he did.
53:03I'm going to be the president of the Trump organization.
53:04I can't do it today.
53:05I can't do it today.
53:06You know what I'm doing right now?
53:07I'm like this.
53:08I'm like this.
53:09And you know what?
53:10Maybe we should all crawl in there because you know what we're all-
53:12Like I already said, denial is a river in Africa.
53:15I'm not denying anything.
53:16Today, I'm crawling.
53:18Tomorrow, I'm going to be like this.
53:20Next week, I'm going to be like this.
53:22And in a couple weeks, I'm going to stand up there just like he does
53:25and I'm going to be promoted to president of his organization.
53:27Now you're homo erectus, okay?
53:30I like Sam.
53:31I think he's a risk taker.
53:32You don't think you have to watch him, constantly watch him?
53:35Yeah, but that's all right.
53:36You've been taking risks all your life.
53:38We'll find out if I hung myself.
53:40I'm not going to say any more.
53:42All right, let me get Robin.
53:44Robin, let him come in, please.
53:46Okay, you can go and see Mr. Trump now.
53:56So, Troy, I know why you picked Sam.
54:06I don't know why you picked David.
54:08What happened?
54:09I think David is a fantastic logistics person, numbers person.
54:13I think that he is going to make a great right-hand man.
54:16So you don't think David would make a good leader?
54:18That is correct.
54:21And Sam, you picked because he's just sort of uncontrolled.
54:24You wouldn't necessarily trust him with your bank account?
54:27Sam's a maverick.
54:28Would you trust him with your bank account?
54:30Absolutely not.
54:32With me, I was born with principles.
54:34I was born with values.
54:34And more so, I was born with genes.
54:36And you don't think he's got those principles?
54:37Troy, you're getting rough here.
54:39For you to say that you would not trust me with your bank account
54:42is saying that you think I am dishonest.
54:44I want you to articulate that to me.
54:46Maybe it's lack of discretion, not lack of honesty.
54:50Troy, you've done a lousy job as the leader.
54:54Really, the women kicked you around badly.
54:57And you've done a bad job.
54:59But despite that, you did step up.
55:01And you do have potential.
55:03So I'm going to let you stay.
55:06Thank you, sir.
55:07Now, Sam, it seemed to be unanimous that...
55:11I don't even think it's lack of leadership.
55:15Sit down.
55:16Thank you, Mr. Trump.
55:17You got to be careful because you're a wild man.
55:20You'll do great or you'll be a total disaster.
55:23I haven't figured it out yet.
55:25David, on the complete opposite side,
55:28I don't see that you stepped up at all.
55:30You even admitted that you wouldn't have been a good leader.
55:33As you both know, we have an elevator that goes up to the suite
55:37and an elevator that goes down to the street.
55:41One of you will stay and one of you will be sent home.
55:47And David, I'm going to ask you to take the down elevator.
55:50You're fired.
55:52I'm sorry to hear that.
55:56Go ahead, fellas.
56:00Thank you. Thank you.
56:05Thank you, Mr. Trump.
56:06Good luck.
56:07Good luck.
56:20With David, I'm not seeing anything.
56:22I think he's very smart.
56:24I think he's a lovely guy, but I'm not seeing it.
56:28That was very interesting and somewhat surprising.
57:08Next week, The Apprentice moves to its new day and time.
57:11Be there, NBC Wednesday, 8, 7 central.
57:14I think it's going to be crazy.
57:15I think it's going to be vicious.
57:16The ultimate competition has only just begun.
57:20The women won the first task, but can they stay together?
57:23You threatened me.
57:24Stay out of my face.
57:25It's over.
57:26While the men are desperate for a victory.
57:29I gave you one small job and you fell asleep doing it.
57:32This Wednesday, the task is tougher.
57:35And you're going to be working on corporate jets.
57:37And the reward is bigger.
57:39But when all is said and done, the real shocker is who will hear these final words.
57:44This is a tough one.
57:45You're fired.
57:46The Apprentice, an all new episode Wednesday on its new day and time.
57:50NBC Wednesday, 8, 7 central.
57:58Carter's back with the biggest surprise of the year.
58:00All new ER.
58:01NBC next.
58:02My experience in the suite was okay.
58:05It was almost too quick of a time interval to fully judge it.
58:09I thought Sam's song and dance routine was absolutely ludicrous.
58:13Mr. Trump acknowledged that Sam might be a disaster.
58:16I think that's probably the pretty likely outcome.
58:18I take solace in the fact that I have a higher IQ than the other 15 contestants.
58:22Which just goes to show you that there's
58:24little correlation between IQ and success in lemonade sales.
