00:00Ten weeks ago, I invited 16 candidates to New York City and gave them the opportunity
00:11to win the dream job of a lifetime.
00:13I'm here to see Mr. Trump.
00:15I'm here to see Donald Trump.
00:18They came from all walks of life and lived together in a suite at Trump Tower, while
00:24they competed each week against one another in a task.
00:27Lemonade?
00:28Lemonade?
00:29I need a quick pep talk, cowboy.
00:30From the planet Hollywood tonight.
00:35So far I've fired ten candidates, six remain, and only one will become the president of
00:40one of my companies.
00:41My mom is going to be proud when she sees me in New York.
00:45Tonight I'll share my thoughts with you on some of the highlights of the past ten weeks.
00:49Was it borderline great?
00:51You know it and I know what it was.
00:52Wait a second.
00:53I did nothing wrong.
00:54And also show you some never-before-seen moments.
00:57Dad, I need a quick pep talk.
01:00Plus, you'll get a sneak peek at what's to come.
01:04No more f***ing around.
01:57Robin, let them come in, please.
02:08Okay, Mr. Trump.
02:09We'll see you now.
02:10You can go over there.
02:16In the boardroom, I introduced the candidates to some very important members of my organization.
02:22George Ross, my executive vice president and senior counsel, and Carolyn Kepcher,
02:27the executive vice president and chief operating officer of my golf courses.
02:31But I was very interested in hearing from the 16 candidates.
02:35Where are you from?
02:36My name is Bowie Hogg.
02:37I'm from Dallas, Texas.
02:38I have a business degree from Texas A&M University and I'm currently in sales.
02:41I'm Katrina Campins.

02:47nationwide and I'm 23 years old.
02:49I'm David Gould.
02:50I'm from New York.
02:51Like most of the folks here, I went to medical school, then switched gears and got my MBA.

02:59in Youngstown, Ohio.
03:01I recently completed my master's and my PhD studies at Howard University in Washington,
03:06D.C.

03:15industry.
03:17At the height of the market, I was worth in the millions but lost most of it when the
03:21market crashed.
03:22How you doing, Mr. Trump?
03:23My name is Jason Kirst.
03:25I have a property management company in Detroit.
03:27No matter what kind of relationship I have with someone, if they're one day late on the
03:31rent, I start the eviction process because that affects my cash flow.
03:35See, I might have to evict you very early.
03:37I don't know.
03:38You also have to have heart.
03:39You know, we need heart in this business.
03:41Okay, go ahead.
03:42Mr. Trump, my name is Nick Warnock and I'm from Los Angeles, California.
03:46By way of Bayonne, New Jersey, I've dominated copier sales in Southern California for the
03:51past four years.
03:52Hi, I'm Christy Frank from California, where I own a new restaurant in Santa Monica, and
03:58I have two rental properties by the beach.
04:00Hi, I'm Heidi from Philadelphia, and I currently am a senior account executive with one of
04:05the largest telecommunications companies in the world.
04:08I'm Jessie.
04:09I didn't go to college, but when I was 17 years old, I started a marketing company.
04:13This year I bought a farm in Wisconsin, and I'm only 21 years old.
04:18My name is Kwame Jackson, and I'm from Charlotte, North Carolina.
04:20I work on Wall Street for a major Fortune 500 company, and I also hold a degree from
04:24the Harvard Business School.
04:25Mr. Trump, I'm Troy McLean from Boise, Idaho.
04:28With nothing but a high school diploma, I'm the president of my own lending and development
04:31company.
04:32So if you need a loan, come see me.
04:33Go ahead.
04:34Good afternoon.
04:35My name is Bill Rancic, and I'm from Chicago.
04:38In 1995, I founded Cigars Around the World in a 300-square-foot studio apartment.
04:42I grew the company to a multimillion-dollar national operation, and I sold it to a publicly
04:46traded company.
04:47My name is Tammy Lee.
04:48I'm 36.
04:49I've been a top stockbroker at a top Wall Street firm.
04:53I'm here to start a new opportunity.
04:55I hope this is it.
04:56Okay.
04:57My name is Erica Petrini.
04:58I'm 27 years old, and I'm from New York City.
05:01For the last two years, I've traveled around the world working for one of the largest international
05:04cosmetics companies.
05:06Okay, last.
05:07My name is Sam.
05:08Mr. Trump, I've read every book you've written.
05:11Twice.
05:12Now I co-own an internet company with 70% profit margins.
05:17I will push and push with instinct and passion in order to be your apprentice.
05:24We're gonna be setting up two teams of eight each, and I've decided it's going to be men
05:31against women.
05:32Each week, you will select a project manager.
05:36I will hold the project manager at least partially responsible for a team's value.
05:41If your team loses, you will all meet me in the boardroom where somebody has to get fired.
05:51The women named themselves Protégé.
05:53The men called themselves Versacorps.
05:55Let's put it right here, baby.
05:56Our first team.
05:57Right here.
05:58Our first team.
05:59And on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange, they were given their first task.
06:03Who is your project manager?
06:04Troy McLean.
06:05Who's your leader?
06:06Erika Vitrine.
06:07Okay, Erika.
06:08We're bringing you back to basics.
06:09You're gonna sell lemonade.
06:17The men of Versacorps chose a terrible location, the Fulton Fish Market, and David had an unorthodox
06:23way of selling lemonade.
06:24$9, $9, $9.
06:25All right.
06:26Forget it.
06:27I don't think these guys get it.
06:28They don't get it.
06:29You know what?
06:30We may have to get some guy to give us $1,000.
06:35I'm giving you my word that if you write me a check for $1,000 for that glass of lemonade,
06:41that you are going to experience the American dream.
06:45This guy is going crazy now.
06:47I'm not going crazy.
06:48I'm gonna retire in a few years.
06:49Otherwise, I would have done it just for the heck of it.
06:54I think in order to change this around, I need to calm down.
06:59Just calm down.
07:00All right.
07:01The women were smarter.
07:04Instead of wasting their time trying to sell lemonade for $1,000, they found a good location
07:09and hit the streets.
07:10It's for the lemonade, but the bonus is my phone number.
07:11Just trying to make some money on the street.
07:12Not the street.
07:13Sounded bad.
07:14We're just trying to make some money.
07:15Is this your corner?
07:19In the end, Protege earned twice as much money.
07:24Win!
07:29Because they lost, Versacorps went to the boardroom where Troy chose David and Sam to
07:33join him.
07:34I'm going to stand right here in front of you, and if you have to punch me in the stomach
07:39and tell me to sit down and shut up, I'll shut up.
07:41Sit down.
07:42David, do you think if you were the team leader, the result would have been different?
07:47Not in this case, because sales is not my forte.
07:51Mr. Trump, I don't want to work for anybody else in this country.
07:54I come and work for you and be your apprentice and follow the rules.
07:57You want to work for the best.
07:59I'm learning here.
08:00It's a big stretch.
08:01No, it's not a big stretch for me, Mr. Trump, because I learn fast.
08:03Sam, you're a wild man.
08:05You'll do great, or you'll be a total disaster.
08:08I haven't figured it out yet.
08:10David, I don't see that you stepped up at all.
08:13You even admitted that you wouldn't have been a good leader.
08:16You're fired.
08:17I felt that Donald had a pretty good command of the details in terms of what had happened,
08:22what he had heard from George and Carolyn.
08:24He's certainly his own decision maker.
08:26It is my completely honest view that the only real prize is first prize.
08:30If I wasn't going to win it, I might as well get cut early, or I'd go through all the hassle
08:34otherwise.
08:35In week two, I introduced the candidates to Donnie Deutsch, one of the biggest names in
08:47advertising.
08:48Their task was to come up with an ad campaign for the marquee jet car.
08:57The women elected Amy as the project manager, and I thought her first decision was pretty
09:01smart.
09:03Bye-bye.
09:04Okay, guys.
09:05So we have an appointment today with the CEO and the senior vice president of marketing
09:10at 12.30.
09:11However, I questioned Jason's judgment.
09:13Pull it up.
09:14We don't have time to go and meet with him.
09:16I mean, it's going to take a half hour, hour.
09:18I think that's a waste of time.
09:19If you're marketing for a client, how do you know what to market unless you talk to the
09:22client?
09:23Hey, that sounds great.
09:24We're going to talk to you later.
09:27Tammy's crazy idea showed that she was willing to go all the way.
09:31This is the testicle ad.
09:33This is the testosterone-driven ad.
09:35What part of the plane is that?
09:37Tammy's testicle ad may compromise our ability to win this task.
09:43While Protégé was on the rise, Versacor's chances were falling apart.
09:49Working together with everybody the last couple of days, Sam was the biggest problem, and
09:54I assigned him small tasks, and they weren't accomplished.
09:59The women's risky strategy paid off.
10:03We're going to go with the women.
10:12And I rewarded them with a private jet ride to Boston for dinner.
10:19But the celebration couldn't cover up the tension building between Erica and Omarosa.
10:24Stay out of my face.
10:25I didn't say anything, though.
10:26For you to say that, it should require me to say something.
10:27Being a bitch is going to be your problem.
10:28You have to live with that for the rest of your life.
10:29I called her a baby.
10:30I told her to go in a corner and get her a pacifier and her blanket and go cry, which
10:38is what she always does.
10:40I am not talking to you.
10:41I am talking.
10:42If you don't like it, I don't give a f**k.
10:44You're emotionally unstable.
10:47That is like calling the kettle black.
10:48See, there you go with your racist terms.
10:52What was actually said about black people?
10:54Nothing.
10:55Try to contain your prejudice, okay?
11:01Back at the suite, Amy tried to mediate.
11:04I think your approach, rather than being constructive, is confrontational, and it's not productive
11:09to our team.
11:10It's so funny.
11:11All of you all sit around and talk about each other, make catty comments, and I'm the only
11:18one that you all call out.
11:20I mean, people are bad-mouthing you like hell because of your lack of organization and management.
11:26Do you realize that?
11:27Amy tried to put me down because she was truly threatened by me, and I just had a little
11:31fun mind game with Amy in return.
11:36It's all fair, believe me, in this game.
11:41The men's second loss led them to my boardroom again, where Jason pointed the finger at Sam.
11:47I gave you one small job the whole day, one job the whole day, and you fell asleep doing
11:51it.
11:52No, I did not sleep.
11:53He was curled up on the side of the floor.
11:55In the fetal position.
11:56In the fetal position.
11:58This is good, man.
11:59In the fetal position.
12:00You're looking for somebody that's going to be an apprentice in our organization.
12:03I cannot for the life of me visualize that Sam in that type of position.
12:07He is not the reason that this particular event failed.
12:10The reason is the team leader in this case.
12:13You're focusing on the fact that I didn't meet with the president personally.
12:16You have to remember.
12:17That's a big fact.
12:18It is.
12:19That's a big fact.
12:20It is.
12:21It is Mr. Trump.
12:22Jason.
12:23What?
12:24Jason.
12:25This is a tough one.
12:26You're fired.
12:27I've had a lot of time to think about where I went wrong or where I thought I went wrong,
12:31and in my eyes, I didn't go wrong.
12:33When Sam was sleeping on my shift, what's to say he's not going to sleep on somebody
12:36else's shift?
12:37And I like Sam.
12:38He's a good person.
12:39Would I ever hire him?
12:40No.
12:41In fact, I'd fire people if they were sleeping on the job.
12:46The candidates had the day off, so the men were determined to change their luck with
12:50a fresh start.
12:51We're taking the feminine route right now to try and act like a girl, think like a girl.
12:56Maybe we'll win like the girls.
12:57What do I do, Sammy?
12:58Do I get butt naked or not?
12:59Just take it.
13:00Throw it out of your boxers.
13:01I kind of feel like an adult film actor getting ready to get prepped.
13:04I mean, I almost feel like I'm going in for a rub and a tug, and it's kind of making me
13:08a little nervous.
13:09Y'all set?
13:10I can honestly tell you this.
13:12I was more nervous in that spa than I've ever been in that boardroom.
13:19I go in as a child, I come back out as a new man.
13:23God, he was good.
13:32A relaxed Versacorps arrived at Westchester Airport to receive their next task.
13:37Okay, this week's task is negotiation, something that I'm very familiar with.
13:43Each team will be given a list of items to negotiate for the lowest possible price.
13:48I think the men may have an advantage over the women with this task.
13:52All these guys do for a living is negotiate.
13:56Luckily for the women, Amy's instincts were apparently wrong.
14:01As Sam led his team into complete chaos.
14:04If we're playing in a game, Bill, there's a time, the quarter's up at some point.
14:08Okay, we will have Sam.
14:09And when the quarter's up, you lose the ball, you go into the locker room.
14:12And I'm saying nothing's happened.
14:14We haven't scored and we've wasted a lot of time.
14:17I really feel it's very important.
14:19I'm not even sure if I care about the price of the gold anymore.
14:23You know, sometimes...
14:24Sam!
14:25Sam's crazy.
14:27When the numbers were tallied up, the women's savings were twice as much as the men.
14:34Protégé won for the third consecutive time, and I gave them some words of encouragement.
14:39I'm starting to think that I may never hire a man again.
14:46Knowing he was in trouble, Sam called for help.
14:49Dad, I need a quick pep talk.
14:51Just say something.
14:52What's my strength?
14:53Ah!
14:55That's what I needed.
14:56I will. Bye.
14:57I asked him, I said, what's the most important thing about a team?
14:59He says, a strong leader.
15:06In my boardroom, Sam's father proved to be right.
15:09Leadership was key.
15:11You guys think Sam's a leader?
15:13No.
15:14And here's why Sam's not a leader.
15:15When we have to all, the rest of the team, tell Sam, calm down.
15:19Stay calm, Sam. Stay calm.
15:21That's not showing the shine of a good leader.
15:23I mean, isn't it over, Sam?
15:25Is what over?
15:26It's over. Don't you think it's over?
15:28I mean, not just these two guys, just everybody.
15:30They just don't seem to have it.
15:32You are going to see great successes from the men.
15:35Well, you know, I hope I'm going to really see great successes from you, Sam.
15:38But no longer with us, you're fired.
15:43Everyone thought Sam looked pretty scary when I fired him, but he wasn't angry.
15:47He was just passionate about his job.
15:49And in the business world, passion is a good thing to have.
15:55I learned that I've got a lot of great talents and a lot of great ideas.
15:59And there are better ways to communicate with certain people.
16:02And I learned that a lot of people think I'm certifiably insane.
16:09For their next task, I had the teams manage a shift at Planet Hollywood.
16:14The women relied on their usual tactics.
16:17Hi, you guys. We're having a huge party at Planet Hollywood tonight.
16:19Where is it?
16:20Planet Hollywood, right down the block.
16:22We'll hook you up.
16:24Planet Hollywood.
16:26Planet Hollywood.
16:28The next evening, desperate for a victory,
16:31Troy and project manager Kwame came up with a plan.
16:34I came up with the creative spark of genius.
16:37Here we go, Kwame Jackson.
16:39Ladies and gentlemen, I got free autographs of Kwame Jackson.
16:42I got New York native Wall Street's finance.
16:44We were doing great with it.
16:46Hell, he even started selling merchandise signing Kwame Jackson.
16:50Ladies, would y'all like a picture to remember y'all's experience tonight?
16:55But Bowie had a tough time pushing the merchandise.
16:58For a picture right here.
17:00But we took responsibility for merchandising,
17:02and there was definitely a failure in the plan
17:04because we did not capitalize on the merchandising.
17:07Numbers?
17:08Retail?
17:09About $150.
17:10Last hour?
17:11$150?
17:12Oh, my God.
17:16Versacore came up short yet again, losing their fourth consecutive task.
17:21Again, the men are taking a beating.
17:24And it came down to Kwame booming.
17:28And it came down to Kwame, Bowie, and Nick in my boardroom.
17:32Nick, you gave up on your team, but at times you've shown great potential.
17:36I would love to see you lead next week.
17:40You, Bowie, really have shown a lot.
17:45I'll be honest.
17:46But you failed miserably in merchandising at Planet Hollywood.
17:50And therefore, Bowie, I have to say you're fired.
17:54I would say my biggest tactical error is not making myself be a leader.
17:59I bring the best out of everyone I work with, and I really make other people shine.
18:03If I was a project manager, we wouldn't have lost.
18:11In week five, I summoned both teams to my boardroom.
18:15The men have been just absolutely decimated.
18:18Look at you, four guys.
18:20And look, nobody touched.
18:22In business and in real life, when things aren't working well, you mix them up.
18:26I let the project managers from each side pick new teams.
18:30Nick started with Amy.
18:33I picked the best.
18:34Amy, Erica, Katrina, Tammy, and Bill, they're absolutely phenomenal.
18:40Christy, the team captain, she selected me, was her first choice.
18:44She selected Kwame, Omarosa, Jesse, and Heidi.
18:48Jesse and Heidi.
18:49We've got outstanding sales staff.
18:51So we're going to do very, very well.
18:54For their next task, the teams bought items and resold them at a flea market.
18:59But Christy choked, and her lack of leadership frustrated her team.
19:03We've got to get out of here. This is where the traffic is.
19:05I mean, this is ridiculous.
19:06Why are you taking so long to make a damn decision?
19:09Christy was a little helter-skelter.
19:11I felt like she didn't make some key decisions when she needed to.
19:15To make matters worse, Protege discovered they had lost some of their money.
19:19We should have more cash is basically what I'm saying.
19:22That you can't find?
19:23How far off are you?
19:24There's another $200 that's unaccounted for.
19:26Another $200 unaccounted for?
19:29Versacor's first victory was guaranteed.
19:31Versacor! I love you guys!
19:36That night, Christy confided to Jesse about who she was taking to the boardroom.
19:41Do you know who else you're going to take with you?
19:44I was going to bring Heidi.
19:47When I heard that Christy wanted me to go, I was shocked.
19:50Once you backstab me, I'm going to do the same thing back.
19:52I would have gone to bat for Christy.
19:53I just, I don't know why I'm nice. Like, I don't know why.
19:56I mean, take the knife out of my back. Take it out.
20:06In the boardroom, I was pretty annoyed that Protege lost their money.
20:10What happened to it?
20:11Christy is not very good with handling money.
20:13She stuffed the money in her back pocket and asked me to keep an eye on her bottom
20:17when she took the money out to make sure none of it dropped on the ground.
20:21You have your finance person and you have your team leader
20:24and the money somewhere disappeared between the hand and the ass.
20:28Christy made some horrible horrible decisions as a project manager.
20:31Unfortunately, she choked at the worst time and that's during leadership time
20:35and that's when you're supposed to demonstrate your strengths.
20:38Christy, until tonight, you were a star and I don't get it.
20:42You lost the fight and you're fired.
20:49Omarosa, halfway through the task, handed me the finances,
20:52handed me all the receipts and the money and said,
20:54I can't do this, it's your problem.
20:56I was shocked when she said some of the things she said
20:59and it was so obnoxious, I didn't feel I had to defend myself
21:03because there's no defense.
21:09Charity is important in the business world, so in week six,
21:13I asked the teams to negotiate with celebrities for a charity auction.
21:18You're going to raise money for the Elizabeth Glazier Pediatric AIDS Foundation.
21:29Protégé was in trouble when Jessie had difficulty negotiating with Isaac Mizrahi.
21:35All right, okay, so...
21:36Well, Mr. Mizrahi, what we're here to do is we're representing an auction,
21:41a charity auction that will be at tomorrow evening.
21:43Right.
21:44So what's going to go on at this auction is that people are going to be bidding on experience.
21:50Okay.
21:51So we need to create an experience.
21:52I love how you're speaking to me as though I have never spoken the English.
21:55I'm sorry.
21:56Jessie totally patronized the man.
21:58She talked to him like he was a four-year-old, but I'm not certain that she caught that.
22:02Start the bidding here at $1,000.
22:04He'll bid me $2,000.
22:05I have $2,000.
22:06I have $3,000.
22:07I have $4,000.
22:08I have $5,000.
22:09I'm here at $5,000.
22:10The auction proved to be a huge success for the charity.
22:12Sold.
22:13$6,000.
22:14But a failure for Protégé.
22:17And they found themselves in my boardroom for the second time in a row
22:21where Jessie had to defend herself against Omarosa's attacks.
22:26You were the lead, Jessie.
22:27I was the lead.
22:28Please take responsibility.
22:29I was the lead, but...
22:30Do you like Omarosa the way she just talks to you?
22:32I mean, do you like her?
22:33I do like Omarosa.
22:34How can you like her the way she's talking?
22:36You know, she's got a very sharp edge.
22:38She knocks you when you're saying how much you like her.
22:41I mean, either you're not telling the truth or you're not very bright.
22:43There's something wrong.
22:45Omarosa, you were rude.
22:47You are rude.
22:48I mean, I've seen it.
22:50But I have to say that worse than your rudeness was the way Jessie
22:57took it.
22:58Please.
22:59I have no choice.
23:00I have no choice.
23:01And I have to say that you're fired.
23:05I feel like I was true to my morals, I was true to my character.
23:08There's nothing that I compromised along the way that I could look back on
23:12and say, gosh, I really wish I wouldn't have done that.
23:15And if I'm going to make a mistake like that in front of the world,
23:20I don't want to regret anything.
23:23On week seven, I gave Protégé a chance to even up the sides.
23:28We'd like to elect Amy.
23:30Hi, Amy.
23:31A few weeks ago, Amy had been picked first when the two teams were mixed up,
23:35and now she was being selected by Protégé.
23:38I was impressed.
23:40Now we're on my turf.
23:42This is real estate.
23:43We have two apartments.
23:45We're going to rent them out.
23:47We're going to rent them out.
23:49We're on my turf.
23:50This is real estate.
23:51We have two apartments.
23:52And each team is going to renovate and then rent the apartment.
23:56The one that rents the apartment for the highest rent
24:00and proportionately the most dollars wins.
24:04So good luck.
24:06But as the new teams were getting ready to hit the road,
24:09Omarosa was accidentally hit on the head.
24:12Ouch!
24:13Oh, my gosh.
24:15What happened to that?
24:16Omarosa had a little piece of plaster fall on her head.
24:19It didn't appear to be that threatening of an injury that occurred.
24:22But Omarosa returned to the suite and called for a doctor.
24:26Tell me what happened.
24:27I got hit in the head.
24:30Any bleeding or anything like that?
24:31I don't think so. I don't see any blood.
24:33You've got a little bump there.
24:35I don't think you did any damage.
24:36Do you have to do anything strenuous tonight?
24:38Yeah, actually, I do.
24:39I have to renovate an apartment.
24:41There you go.
24:42It takes a man, Bill.
24:44Omarosa still wasn't satisfied, so she went to the hospital.
24:48But the doctors didn't find anything terribly wrong.
24:51I'd show you, but the cameras weren't allowed inside.
24:59In the suite, Heidi received some disturbing news.
25:03Oh, my God.
25:05Yeah.
25:12Heidi found out that her mother has been diagnosed with stage 1 colon cancer,
25:17and she anticipated the worst.
25:20Like, if you want me to leave, you tell me.
25:22I won't. I'm gonna be fine.
25:24I said, I wish you guys told me.
25:33My mom, she's getting operated on this week, and hopefully it will be well.
25:37She wants me here, and I want to be here.
25:39And to be honest, it's keeping busy, it's keeping focused.
25:41And you just have to be positive, and you have to be strong,
25:44because, you know, I have to be strong for her.
25:50In Brooklyn, project managers Katrina and Troy needed to decide
25:54which apartment they were going to renovate, but they couldn't agree.
25:58She says to me, like we're in third grade,
26:00you write on a piece of paper what you want,
26:02I'll write on a piece of paper what I want,
26:04we'll change papers, we'll open them up, and we'll start from there.
26:07Ready? You wrote it down?
26:08I wrote it down.
26:14By God, I wrote, I want exactly what you want.
26:18It's unthinkable, like I'm just sick to my stomach right now.
26:20So it came to a coin toss, and of course he got the one that I wanted.
26:23He's fueled me to the point where he is not gonna win this.
26:28VersaCore was determined to win,
26:30but Tammy was driving her teammates absolutely nuts.
26:33Oh my gosh, what's going on up here?
26:35Do you mind if I redo part of this little wall?
26:37It looks terrible.
26:38Wait, when it dries, you'll see.
26:40That's gonna dry like that.
26:41No, it will not.
26:42You promise me.
26:43I'll bet you $50.
26:45Tammy adds absolutely no value to the team.
26:48In fact, she only creates obstacles,
26:50and I feel like I have to babysit her.
26:52If we lose this task, definitely taking Tammy into the boardroom.
26:57VersaCore did lose,
26:59but Katrina openly criticized Troy.
27:02Troy didn't play by the rules of the game.
27:04Well, do you think he was unethical or not?
27:06I think he was extremely unethical.
27:07First thing I learned in negotiation,
27:09if you get emotional and you get personal,
27:11you're losing the negotiation.
27:13Did I cry, Troy? Look at me in the eyes.
27:14Did I cry?
27:15You did not cry.
27:16No.
27:17But he duped you.
27:18Nobody has ever duped me.
27:19You've never ever been duped?
27:20Nope.
27:21I have.
27:22And I'm not gonna give him credit for it.
27:23I think we got duped, to be honest.
27:26Thanks, Tammy.
27:30Sorry.
27:31I was so furious at Tammy's comment about us being duped.
27:35It's so typical of her, but so out of line.
27:38Katrina, with your experience,
27:40you should have been in charge of both the renovation and negotiation.
27:44And Bill, you weren't a good negotiator.
27:47I think you should have gotten a better price for the apartment.
27:51Tammy, you got in the way of your team,
27:53and your disloyalty has been just terrible,
27:55and you sort of understood that.
27:57Throughout me, just this one particular time.
27:59Let's say it doesn't matter.
28:00Tammy, you're fired.
28:06I'm a very loyal person,
28:07but if I see that there's issues and problems,
28:09and I want to point them out to people,
28:11the hardest thing for people to realize is that they had shortcomings.
28:15So I think the team was really trying to stand up for Katrina,
28:18and they were really trying to say,
28:19no, she wasn't duped, although she was.
28:29For their eighth task, I told the team to sell my latest venture,
28:33bottled water, that I call Trump Ice.
28:36There you have it, folks.
28:37That's a lot of Trump Ice.
28:40Good luck.
28:42Troy devised a smart plan for Protege.
28:45We don't have to just do a one-time delivery.
28:47We can write our purchase order for 20 cases a week,
28:50and times four weeks, times six weeks, times ten weeks.
28:54My moment of clarity came to me,
28:56and I shared it with the rest of the team.
28:58I said, well, wait a second.
28:59If they sell 20 cases a week, that's ongoing forever and ever.
29:04Can't we say, like, 25 cases a week for four weeks,
29:07and give it a good try that way?
29:09It was a spark of genius.
29:11That works out.
29:13And in the end, Troy's plan worked.
29:16George, how did they do?
29:18I had the figures of the Protege team,
29:21and I think they did very well.
29:23They sold $6,283.45.
29:27Carolyn?
29:28Well, I'm afraid our group didn't do as well.
29:30They brought in total sales of $4,015.92.
29:36Before the boardroom, Nick and Bill prepared themselves for the worst.
29:41I'm ready for it.
29:42I'll back you up in there.
29:44Bill and I sat down at dinner and got into it as far as strategy goes,
29:48and I got his back in there.
29:50Erica's going to call Bill and I in the boardroom,
29:53because Katrina's a girl and they're good friends and all that good stuff.
29:56She better have a damn good reason as to why she's bringing me in there.
30:00No more f***ing around.
30:02Nick, I got you covered, man. Don't worry.
30:04But the focus would be to eliminate Erica.
30:07I just don't want it to be a full-on character assassination.
30:10I mean, I will not fire until I am fired upon.
30:13I'm not going to come out of the box,
30:16unless, obviously, I've got to back you up.
30:19I'll fight, though. I mean, I will really.
30:21I don't want to get fired.
30:23Here's to victory.
30:24Have a killer boardroom strategy.
30:26Get what's-her-face eliminated.
30:37In the boardroom, Bill and Nick stuck to their plan
30:40and went on the offensive against Erica.
30:42You think you're better than Erica, Nick?
30:44Yes, I do.
30:45I can handle the pressure, Mr. Trump.
30:47I can effectively run one of your organizations.
30:50Can Erica handle it?
30:51No.
30:52Why can't she handle it?
30:53Yeah, this is interesting to me,
30:54because if I can manage fixing all your screw-ups,
30:57I hope that I can manage being president of his company.
30:59So if you're going to put Nick down,
31:00you might as well put Katrina down.
31:02Oh, absolutely.
31:03Why is she gone?
31:04The only reason why Katrina's gone is...
31:05Do you like her because she's your girlfriend?
31:06No.
31:07If she had taken more of a leadership role,
31:08I would have put her in that hot seat.
31:10You're saying because she didn't take a leadership role,
31:12she's gone.
31:13She's now in this beautiful suite overlooking the world.
31:16That was one reason.
31:17Erica, you never had a strong game plan.
31:21And worst of all, you let your emotions dictate
31:24who came into the board.
31:26Don't say it, Mr. Trump.
31:27You're fired.
31:31The boys, they've been in this game too long.
31:33They're all screwed up.
31:34They're being so deceptive and not being true to themselves.
31:37Nick completely is one of the duds amongst the boys.
31:40Bill surprised me so much on what a chicken he is.
31:45In the boardroom, you should see him
31:47shaking and, like, getting so nervous.
31:50I will miss Amy, Katrina, Heidi, Kwame, so much.
31:55And I would start a company with those people in a second.
32:03The next morning, I needed to even up the sides again.
32:06And who do you think Versacor asked for?
32:08We're going to take Amy.
32:10Welcome home.
32:12Maybe what you're telling me
32:13is I should just give her the job right now.
32:17For their next task,
32:18I asked the teams to pick an artist
32:20and sell their artwork in a gallery.
32:25While Versacor chose a conventional painter...
32:28I'm not using any trickery.
32:29I'm using good old paint,
32:31and I'm weaving a story with it.
32:33Gotcha.
32:34...Protege chose an artist
32:36whose work was much more controversial.
32:38This is a series about a young girl, Psyche,
32:41and her twin sister, Smut.
32:43Psyche is this very prim and proper,
32:45pinafore little girl,
32:46and Smut is this rather aberrant, naughty little girl.
32:49And by the way, the city is ruled by frogs
32:51and their concubines.
32:55Later, Heidi and Omarosa butted heads over lunch.
32:59We don't have time to sit down for two hours.
33:01No, I'd like to sit down if that's okay.
33:04We do have the time.
33:05No, Heidi doesn't want to stop and eat,
33:07and I need to sit down.
33:08Okay, you guys figure out the eating thing,
33:11and we'll move forward.
33:13My head, I want to eat.
33:16Dude, it's my head,
33:18and if I don't get some catered service,
33:20pretty quick, I'm calling the president.
33:22You can go to the f*** you want.
33:24I can't freaking stand you.
33:25F***ing whine and complain.
33:27Bitch, bitch, bitch.
33:33That night, it was smooth sailing for VersaCorp.
33:36Great job, man.
33:37I'm really happy for you.
33:38I'm very happy for you.
33:39Thank you, man.
33:40But a total disaster for Protege.
33:44Again, her thought process is far beyond my comprehension.
33:49Okay.
33:50Just the little innuendos,
33:51the snake in the grass over there,
33:53the skull of Henry VIII,
33:55I mean, she is amazing.
34:02The next morning, Protege discovered
34:04how badly they had been beaten.
34:06Carolyn, what are the numbers?
34:08VersaCorp sold $13,600.
34:12Go ahead, George.
34:13Protege, it sold one piece for $869.
34:18Wow.
34:19That's awful.
34:20That's getting creamed.
34:21Yes, it is.
34:22I was offended by some of the artwork,
34:24and if I was offended, I'm sure a lot more people were.
34:27As a team, we chose the wrong artist,
34:29and you know, I can't blame anybody but ourselves.
34:31It was a very, very difficult product to sell,
34:34and that was our fault for choosing that artist.
34:38Kwame took Omarosa and Heidi to the boardroom,
34:41where their differences came to a head.
34:45Heidi, Omarosa, and you don't like each other much.
34:48What was the problem?
34:49My concern was, to be honest with you,
34:51sitting down in a restaurant could take,
34:53in New York, it was a busy day.
34:54I was concerned that would take longer than 25 minutes.
34:56If she explained it that eloquently to me yesterday,
34:59we probably wouldn't have a problem.
35:00I did. You didn't let me get a chance to.
35:01Because she likes to drop the F-bomb every five minutes.
35:04Oh, my God. You've got to be kidding me.
35:06That's excuses.
35:07I don't like the fact that you two argued over
35:10whether or not to have lunch
35:11when you have a small amount of time,
35:13and you were the one that wanted the lunch.
35:15Omarosa, go out and sell paintings
35:17or whatever the hell you're doing.
35:19I don't like excuses.
35:23In this case, Omarosa has to go.
35:25You're fired.
35:29I hold my head up high.
35:30I have absolutely no regrets.
35:32I played the game well.
35:33I'm a smart businesswoman,
35:34and by not being in the finals,
35:36it doesn't change that.
35:38I still go back to my life
35:40knowing that I'm an accomplished woman
35:43who can do whatever I put my mind to.
35:54That is true.
35:56We all thought that it was time
35:57to really kind of celebrate our accomplishments,
36:00so we headed off to have a few drinks.
36:03It's a survival of the fittest.
36:08If I go out, can we just make an agreement
36:11that we'll just have a toast in my honor
36:13and don't bring up my name ever again?
36:15Please?
36:17It's down to 7,
36:18it'll be down to 6 in a little bit.
36:20We're all fighting for the same job.
36:22It's no longer about friendships,
36:24it's really to win this game.
36:26I'm watching you, baby.
36:29The next day, I sent the candidates
36:31into the mean streets of New York City
36:33to manage a pedicab fleet and its drivers.
36:37The driver who earns the most money
36:38is going to get an extra $100 at the end of the day,
36:40flat out.
36:41The driver who earns the most before noon,
36:43you're going to get an extra $100.
36:45Protégé jumped out to a quick start
36:47with a plan to motivate the pedicab drivers.
36:50Pretty simple, pretty plain.
36:51Are they good? Are they exciting?
36:52Very good.
36:53I'm excited about it.
36:54I'm excited about it.
36:55Versacor quickly realized
36:56that they needed to do more
36:58than just collect fares.
37:00We could advertise on the back of the rickshaw.
37:03Amy's idea was brilliant,
37:05but Protégé had a different strategy.
37:07They opted to sell prepaid punch cards.
37:10Looks legit.
37:11I'm feeling good now.
37:13I like those.
37:14They're going to look slick.
37:16You guys interested in Manhattan?
37:18Show a card.
37:19We're going to Manhattan.
37:20We're going to Manhattan.
37:21We're going to Manhattan.
37:22We're going to Manhattan.
37:23You guys interested in Manhattan?
37:24Show a company.
37:25No, you don't want to ride?
37:26Damn it, I can't win today.
37:28It's all right.
37:29People need to have more sex
37:31because everyone is just so miserable.
37:33But their sale seemed slow
37:35and Heidi's head wasn't in the game.
37:37Your last one.
37:38It's just mentally draining.
37:39You're not sleeping.
37:40It's just exhausting.
37:41You're working seven days a week.
37:43You don't get a day off.
37:44You guys, what's that, you guys?
37:47We see the other team's rickshaw go by
37:50and I said,
37:51my God, they might have sold advertising
37:54on the back of their rickshaws.
37:55That's a great idea.
37:57I didn't think of it.
38:03The ads were a good idea
38:04and Protege lost the task.
38:06So they found themselves in the boardroom
38:08where I gave project manager Troy
38:10a tough decision.
38:12You're going to make the choice
38:13as to who goes out now.
38:18You know that.
38:19I didn't know.
38:20I didn't know.
38:21Well, no, that's what's going to happen.
38:22All right.
38:23Normally, you keep two.
38:24Well, now you're down to three
38:26because you've been decimating.
38:27So you're going to choose one person
38:28to come back into the boardroom,
38:30one person to go back up to the suite.
38:34I would have to say that Kwame goes upstairs.
38:37Kwame was excused
38:38and Carolyn called out Heidi for not stepping up.
38:41Heidi, in the time that we've been here,
38:43I have yet to really see anything out of you.
38:46And the last time we met, I said...
38:47That's pretty harsh, right?
38:48That is very harsh.
38:49I don't have a title to your opinion.
38:50I don't agree.
38:51But everybody has said that Troy is a good leader,
38:53including you.
38:55Yeah, he is a good leader.
38:56And nobody said that about you.
39:00In this event, you wouldn't step up as a leader
39:03and you barely contributed as a follower.
39:06Heidi, you're fired.
39:11What I've learned from this game is that
39:13I love being in sales.
39:15I want to stick to sales.
39:16I'm ready to start selling again.
39:18I have to say the least favorite moment
39:19was actually finding that my mom was sick.
39:21I mean, that was really hard to deal with.
39:23But now, you know, thank God she's well.
39:26She's out of the hospital.
39:27She's fine.
39:28She has to go back in a couple of months for a checkup.
39:30But they got it out.
39:31So I'm really happy about that.
39:33With Heidi gone, only six candidates remain.
39:36Bill, Amy, Katrina, Nick, Kwame and Troy.
39:42In the coming weeks,
39:43they'll face some of their most difficult tasks.
39:47They'll work in the glamorous world of casinos
39:51and high-priced real estate
