00:00It is true that some Senators conducted an executive session on the hearing that discussed Dismissed Mayor Alice Guo.

00:07This is what Daniel Manalastas reported.

00:11After the report came out that Dismissed Mayor Alice Guo conducted a Senate Executive Session on the hearing,

00:18the Senators immediately denied it.

00:20According to Senator Rizal Tiveros, who is leading the Senate's investigation,

00:25their committee has no reason to believe that Guo will give factual, important, and expected information

00:34to convince them to agree to an executive session.

00:38He also denied admitting that he conducted a Senate Executive Session, even though the evidence was already there.

00:44Senator Joel Villanueva, although he was also included in the Executive Session,

00:48but he was reminded of what the former Mayor wanted to say.

00:52So, they must convince us, me personally,

00:58I must be convinced that there is bearing, that the information will be heavy.

01:04Yesterday, Guo wrote on a piece of paper who facilitated them to be allowed to sleep outside the country,

01:10but he did not make it public.

01:12Earlier, some Senators made a statement.

01:20He is a Chinese national, and allegedly, based on the reports that I have received,

01:28he fled the country, and he is now in Taiwan.

01:33I heard that he is the boss of all the bosses of Pogo.

01:37If you remember, what Alice Guo said,

01:40even though she facilitated his escape,

01:44she said that he said bad words.

01:49So, I asked her, if you said bad words to him, why did he let you escape?

01:56Why did he let you borrow money?

01:59So, my conclusion to that is,

02:01maybe,

02:03maybe that's why Alice Guo fled the country,

02:07maybe she is the one who facilitated his escape.

02:12Senator Estrada thinks that Guo's strategy is why he doesn't want to be detained in the Senate,

02:18even though his case is bailable.

02:20For now, Guo is in the PNP Custodial Center.

02:23But we will request the court for her to be under the custody of the Senate.

02:28Well, I cannot say that it's more comfortable there,

02:34because I've been there.

02:37Senate President Francis Codero doesn't believe in Guo's claim

02:41that there was no help to the Filipinos when he fled the country.

02:45Now, the leader of the Senate believes that the non-Filipinos who helped Guo should be punished.

02:51The continuation of the Senate hearing will be held next week.
