01:08and other Venezuelan authorities on the 64th anniversary of the organization.

01:21the 64th anniversary of the founding of OPEC.
01:29It is a great pleasure and an immense honor to present this message to the people of the
01:33Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and its authorities, including His Excellency, President Nicolas
01:39Maduro, the Honorable Vice President, Minister of Petroleum Her Excellency Delsi Rodriguez
01:44and other members of her Ministerial Cabinet.
01:51On this day we celebrate that historic meeting in Baghdad 64 years ago, which resulted in
01:57the signing of an agreement by our five founding members, namely the Islamic Republic of Iran,
02:06Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Venezuela.
02:13With this extraordinary agreement, OPEC was born, and a new era of multilateral energy
02:18cooperation was born.
