00:00Hello, good afternoon. Well, after all the rain over the last few days, high pressure
00:04is building, which means lots of fine and dry, settled weather on its way. However,
00:08the south will just have to wait that little bit longer. Currently, we have low pressure
00:11dominating here, so a bit more cloud and some showers and some rain and drizzle. But high
00:15pressure is on its way, building from the north and, as I say, bringing lots of fine
00:20and dry weather to come. In the south, though, for the rest of the day, it will be fairly
00:24cloudy with those outbreaks of rain and drizzle at times. Further north, though, largely dry
00:29– perhaps just a build-up of cloud by the time we reach the afternoon. And there is
00:34still a slight breeze around those eastern coasts, which is just going to take the edge
00:38off the temperatures a little bit, but it's generally going to be a lot lighter than it
00:41was yesterday, so generally feeling that little bit better. Now, as we head into the evening,
00:46that cloud will linger for a time across the south, still with those showers feeding into
00:50coasts of East Anglia, but generally easing away, just the odd one or two, by the time
00:55we reach dawn. But elsewhere, generally dry, plenty of clear spells, so that means it is
01:00going to be feeling cold. Likely to see some frost, particularly in northern areas, with
01:05some mist and fog too, which might just be that little bit slow to clear by the time
01:09we reach the morning. Generally, though, once it does clear, we have high pressure building,
01:15which means lots of fine, dry, settled weather to come tomorrow. Still just a few showers
01:19feeding into those eastern coasts, but you'll probably be unlucky if you do catch any large
01:23dry for many of us, just perhaps a build of higher cloud just pushing into western parts
01:27of Scotland, parts of Northern Ireland by the time we reach the afternoon. And it is
01:31still going to be a little bit breezy around those coastal areas, but generally where you
01:35catch the sunshine with highs of 16, 17 across the southeast, it should be feeling rather
01:40pleasant. Now, as we finish off the week, we do still have high pressure holding on,
01:46which means a largely settled end to the weekend, start of the weekend, but eventually low pressure
01:50is moving in from the west, which means we're likely to see some more unsettled weather
01:54over the weekend. But for more information on that, don't forget you can subscribe to
01:58our YouTube channel and then you'll never miss an update. Bye for now.
