00:00The Department of Migrant Workers helped the family of a Filipino in Saudi Arabia.
00:08According to DMW Secretary Hans Leo Kakdak,
00:11the family was immediately visited by the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration.
00:16One of their priorities is to help the children of the OFW.
00:22It should be noted that the Filipinos laughed at the term Kisas, or better known as Mata sa Mata,
00:30because of the killing of a Saudi national who was involved in a financial dispute.
00:35Meanwhile, Kakdak was concerned about the possibility of the Filipino national returning home.
00:41But according to the Philippine Embassy in Riyadh,
00:44Chargé d'Affaires Romel Romato,
00:46the Filipino nation will not be repatriated to the Philippines,
00:49as per Sharia law.
