00:00Good afternoon. We've got further stormy weather on the way over the next 24 hours or so, particularly across some northern parts of the country.
00:07An amber wind warning is in place across parts of Scotland on Sunday evening and into Monday morning.
00:12And it's all down to this developing area of low pressure named Storm Corrie.
00:15That moves its way eastwards across Scotland into the North Sea by Monday morning.
00:19And behind this cold front, we introduce a northwesterly flow and much colder conditions for Monday.
00:25Back to Sunday afternoon, though, and after a fine morning across many parts of England and Wales with plenty of sunshine, it stays fine and mostly sunny in the east.
00:33Thickening cloud, though, further north and west.
00:35And there will be some heavy outbreaks of rain arriving across Northern Ireland, Western Scotland and Northern Scotland with some hill snow here.
00:42And not feeling as mild as it did on Saturday, with temperatures largely in single figures.
00:47Taking a closer look at the winds, though, through this evening and overnight.
00:50And it's through the amber zone that we expect the risk of gusts of over 80 miles an hour, potentially leading to some travel disruption and very damaging winds in places.
00:59Further outbreaks of rain sweep their way southeastwards across England and Wales overnight tonight.
01:03And following that, a mixture of clearer spells and showers, cold enough for the showers to be falling as snow, particularly up over the higher ground of Scotland.
01:10And there will be a risk of some icy patches here. Temperatures largely holding up above freezing, though, towards the south and the west.
01:17Some sunshine to begin the day on Monday, particularly across many eastern areas.
01:21Thickening cloud, though, further north and west with some more persistent spells of rain and drizzle developing across North West Scotland and Northern Ireland through the afternoon.
01:29And feeling quite chilly with some very blustery winds first thing in the day and highs generally in single figures.
01:35It stays unsettled into the next week, but for all the latest information, you can always follow us on our social media channels.
01:41That's it for now, though. Bye for now.
