00:00Hello there, there's some typically changeable and autumnal weather on the way over the next

00:04few days, with rain for most places, but also some sunshine at times.

00:09Through Sunday we've got this cold front making its way south eastwards across the UK,

00:13that clears away from south east England on Monday morning. High pressure then builds across

00:17the UK to begin this week, so many places will see some fine weather, albeit with some chilly nights,

00:22and then it turns unsettled by the middle of the week with spells of rain moving in from the Atlantic.

00:27Sunday afternoon will be wet and windy across more northwestern parts of the UK,

00:32some particularly persistent and heavy rain for Northern Ireland and Western Scotland,

00:36gales around the coast, and potentially some severe gales in northwest Scotland for a time.

00:40A bright and breezy picture though for many parts of England and Wales, still some sunshine

00:44particularly further east, and temperatures here a little bit above average for the time of year,

00:49with highs of 18 celsius. Through Sunday evening that band of rain will continue to make its way

00:54south eastwards across the UK, still some heavy bursts of rain for a time, but ahead of that some

01:00clear skies across the south east, and then skies clearing with blustery showers coming into the

01:04northwest, some heavy showers for Western Scotland later in the night, and turning cooler with those

01:10winds switching to a northwesty direction, but a milder night to come, particularly in the south.

01:16Monday morning we'll see this band of cloud and patchy rain clearing away from the south east,

01:20so it's an improving picture, lots of sunshine coming out for many parts of the UK through

01:25Monday morning, a bit more aware patchy cloud further north, and a few scattered showers,

01:30these heaviest across Scotland through the morning, but for most it's a fine and sunny

01:34picture through the afternoon, particularly in the south, but there will be this cooler

01:38northwesterly breeze for most, so temperatures will be a little bit down on the weekend,

01:43particularly if you factor in that wind in the north. You can of course stay up to date by
