00:00Hello there. Windy on Wednesday and Thursday before things slowly settle down from the south on Friday.
00:06The promise of some sunshine on Saturday. But for the time being, watch out for some hefty showers across central and eastern areas of Scotland and England through Tuesday evening.
00:14But they will fade away. Some clearer skies turning cool across the southeast as more cloud rolls in with some stronger winds further west in the first of the rain across Northern Ireland and Western Scotland around midnight.
00:26That rain then makes inroads across Scotland, Wales as well as the West Country through the early hours of the morning.
00:32And yes, a lively end to the night here and a cool one towards the southeast under some clearer skies but some brighter weather to start the day on Wednesday.
00:41Not the case for Scotland. It's a wet and windy start away from Shetland. You could see some brighter skies before the cloud thickens here and you'll see the rain.
00:49The rain extends down towards Cumbria and Northumberland as well as the northwest of England. Northern Ireland seeing some rain, some showers hot on the heels of that rain.
00:57And that wet weather extends down towards Wales, the West Country, some showery bursts just ahead of it.
01:02But anywhere from Middlesbrough down towards Mablethorpe, Margate, some brighter skies to start the day, some drier weather, but slowly the cloud will roll in here.
01:11Even so, many areas towards the southeast will have a dry afternoon, just one or two showery bursts.
01:17And notice this band of rain will lose its potency through the day as we see a clearance coming in from the west but also a lot of showers.
01:23Now these showers will be heavy with the risk of thunder across Scotland, particularly central and northern areas of Scotland, a strong biting wind here.
01:30And across Northern Ireland you'll see some fine weather to end the day as the showers become more scattered across Northern England, the Midlands as well as Wales and the West Country.
01:38A canopy of cloud towards the southeast and East Anglia, southern parts of Lincolnshire and a breezy end to the day here, temperatures the high teens.
01:46Now through Wednesday evening and overnight, another weather front will skirt Northern Ireland moving in across Northern England, Wales and southern Scotland.
01:55Towards the north we're under a showery regime with a blustery breeze.
01:59Towards the south of this rain band, yes you'll see some clearer skies and quite a keen breeze keeping temperatures up.
02:05But certainly some wet weather to end the night yet again on Thursday across Northern Ireland.
02:10That rain slowly moves across to North Wales, southern parts of Scotland and Northern England through the first part of Thursday.
02:17Notice towards the north a bit of a squeeze on the ice bars, certainly a gusty wind over the highlands of Scotland and we'll see a bit of a breeze further south as the cloud increases through the day.
02:28But by this point yet again that weather front will have weakened.
02:32So temperatures through the afternoon on Thursday, possibly slightly higher in the southeast.
02:38We'll hang on to some drier weather here, always the chance of some showers across the northern half of the UK with some heavy showers across central and northern areas of Scotland.
02:47Bye bye.
