00:00what's up guys today I wanted to get you guys opinions on the galaxy s23 ultra
00:06you know it was officially announced I want to talk about a few things but I
00:10want to talk about this trade-in deal that I thought was super awkward this
00:15morning which I wasn't expecting I thought we're actually gonna get a
00:17pretty good deal and you guys know I'm all about good deals on this channel but
00:21I want to know from you guys cuz I was like maybe it's just me but this deal
00:24that they did was not nowhere near as good as last year's deal especially even
00:29just with the gifts and stuff like that that you get it just didn't just seem
00:34underwhelming to me so first off I want to talk about the you know just a deal
00:40here so if you reserve the phone I know you got $50 credit off they also give
00:45you a free storage upgrade so you know get 512 gigabytes for the price of 256
00:51that was pretty much the same I did get the cream color and when you go with a
00:56trade-in cuz I was like man I need to save some money trading my s22 ultra
01:00it's only 500 bucks and I was like yo I don't need the s10 I think that's 22
01:06ultra I thought it was gonna be at least at the bare minimum like 650 or at least
01:10600 at the bare minimum but $500 seems very very low and I'm like man I use s
01:1622 ultra it's gotta be worth more than that right so let's just see it was like
01:24if I if I would have like just sold it earlier but like I use s22 ultra that's
01:32unlocked is going for around $800 like I thought so you know even $600 is low
01:40right but I guess Samsung that's I say if it was $600 plus you know $150 credit
01:47that would have been okay but yeah I just wasn't really feeling it feeling
01:55the you know and of course I got the phone for you guys to do comparisons and
01:59stuff for and again they're not sending me the phone for free so that's why I
02:03was like as I was really kind of like man what what is this but I did get
02:09something I got these earbuds as well too with a hundred dollars as well but
02:17um I don't know it would just seem underwhelming I just got the earbuds
02:23because it was the next best thing but it seemed a little bit underwhelming to
02:27me but um yeah so I just want to know what you guys thought and also guys as
02:35far as the you know official launch of the s23 ultra here it was basically what
02:42we expected from the leaks I'm really curious to see the processor how the
02:50processor works is it gonna heat up when playing games and stuff like that just
02:55the videos that I've seen nobody has really talked about that I'm I think I
02:58don't know if they're allowed to talk about that you know processor
03:01performance before the actual launch date but I want to know is this phone
03:05still heating up is it still getting hot when gaming for long periods of time
03:10you know we got the 200 megapixel camera that's great it takes better low-light
03:16shots and stuff like that as well we got the expert raw app is coming into the
03:20native camera app as well too which is pretty nice they didn't touch the screen
03:26here still the same 1440p 1750 nits and then it's still 1 Hertz 120 Hertz I
03:34thought they were going to bump up the you know nits to around 2,000 nits peak
03:41brightness but we didn't see that there so I thought that was kind of strange
03:44I've also heard that they did a really big speaker improvement so you know like
03:51I was always complaining about with this phone this phone has to me horrible
03:54speakers for a flagship phone so hopefully that's true as well so I'm
03:59pretty excited about that and then of course the battery life was also those
04:03are my two main things kind of the things that almost nobody cares about in
04:08the I've been just been looking at videos and stuff like that it seemed
04:11like the main focus is always on these cameras the cameras I'm telling you when
04:16you get it in compared to the s22 ultra and the s21 ultra for a normal person
04:20not gonna really notice that big of a difference I I was really set on the
04:25processor one being much better more efficient and cooler so that's what I
04:31was really concerned about and also battery life because Samsung if you
04:35notice I did a drain test my s22 ultra s21 note 10 plus no 20 ultra they all
04:43die around the 6-hour mark so these phones have not seen a real battery
04:49improvement in a long time and from what it looks like from what Samsung's
04:53just covering it looks like the batteries untouched it's still gonna do
04:56probably around six hours screen on time so the same 5000 milliamp 45 watt
05:02charging again not that super fast I thought we see a faster charging speed
05:06at least 65 watts or something like that but yeah and I'm really happy that they
05:12actually got rid of the 128 gig version of this phone as well I thought that
05:18was really stupid even though we still have I believe the 8 gigs of RAM version
05:23at least it's not 128 gigs and 8 gigs I just thought that was just crazy and the
05:30price seems to be somewhat on par I think from last year at least in USA so
05:36what do you guys think about the s23 ultra here a little bit of a of a
05:41awkward pre-order start already but what do you guys think sure let me know and
