00:14Just mastered all of the things that I didn't like about the previous pixel flagships and they really just
00:20I hit the nail on the head here. So I want to talk about first off the price
00:24This is a really important one and I think that a lot of people
00:28You know, they forget that the pixel 8 pro is much much cheaper in the news refurbished marketplace or even brand new
00:35You can see here, you know coming in at $7.99
00:38But it's such an excellent deal in the use refurbished marketplace because it's way
00:43Way cheaper than a samsung galaxy s24 ultra which is going to cost you upward to
00:481100 to 1200 and then pretty much the iphone 15 pro max is pretty similar as well, too
00:54You know in that upper, you know or that lower thousand dollar price point this phone you can find for again not cheap
01:00But you know kind of cheap for it being a new flagship
01:04So I think that's really important too and we're not we're talking about a flagship phone here
01:09That costs hundreds of dollars less than its competitors and offering pretty much the same value if not better in some areas
01:17So I think that's the number one reason why you know, anyone should consider this phone
01:22Alright, so the next one is the processor and the overall speed of the pixel now
01:27This is an area where a lot of people would probably disagree
01:30So this phone has the tensor g3 trip set
01:32In it, you have 128 gigs of internal storage and then you have 12 gigs of ram on here
01:37This phone is still pretty fast. I think for the average person now. Yes, can you get a iphone or a
01:45You know galaxy phone and get better settings when you're gaming
01:48Yes, of course, are you going to get better benchmarks and all that stuff? Yes
01:52Uh, but the pixel I think still does a fantastic job. It doesn't do terrible in benchmarks and stuff like that
01:58It's just not not going to beat those phones. But google the chip is kind of focused more towards the ai
02:03uh stuff
02:04But even for gaming people say well, this is can't the phone can't really game this phone games just fine
02:10Especially if you're just a casual gamer. Um, I have no issues with performance on this phone. It's pretty fast
02:16There's no game that i've been able to play like I think pub g it's still not optimized for 90 frames on here
02:22It's like little stuff like that. But as far as the overall gaming experience, uh, the gaming experience is pretty good
02:28So I definitely wouldn't say that this phone is a slow phone by any means
02:32Um, it's a pretty fast phone and you can definitely get some gaming done on here for sure
02:38And i'm not getting any type of serious heating problems or anything like that
02:41Um, so yeah, so I think the gaming performance on here is fine
02:44I think the tensor chip has definitely come a long way. I remember the original one would get kind of hot and
02:51Especially if it's like outdoors here, you know in north carolina where it gets, you know
02:55Kind of hot in the summertime. It would kind of
02:57You know free not yeah
02:58It would kind of like start shooting that low res video if i'm outdoors because it was getting too hot stuff like that
03:04So google has really fixed, you know a lot of that stuff
03:07And um, yeah, so I think this is a really good phone for performance
03:11All right, so next is gonna be the software so
03:15The pixel software is really fast, um, you know a stock android, but there are a lot of benefits to
03:21You know the stock android like getting the first beta update. So the android 15 beta I believe came out recently
03:27So you were the first to get it if you have a pixel device just little stuff like that to experience
03:32What's new and upcoming with android and also that um for those who don't like, you know
03:38Samsung apps and xiaomi apps and stuff like that. Here's just the the google applications
03:44And um, yeah, everything is very smooth
03:47um
03:48and there's not like a lot of stuff I think that the only thing about it is that there's not like a lot of
03:53Advanced features like you would find on one ui
03:56And um, you know some other skins
03:58And um, you know, that's fine for most people if you're just really into you know
04:02The basics right because this is like very very bare bone. There's not a lot
04:07Uh going on here now a lot of this the software is surrounded by google basically the the google
04:14Services, so the circle to search is here and a lot of google's ai features
04:19Especially with the photo editor and stuff like that. So the software on here is what google, you know, kind of prides themselves
04:27On for the most part here. So just like with um
04:31The
04:33Ai stuff right here
04:35So here you got the magic editor
04:37Which I think it works a little bit better than the the samsung one in my opinion
04:41But the samsung one is you know, it's newer of course
04:46But um, yeah, I think a lot of these are just a little bit slow as well
04:50even on the samsung one, but there's a lot you can do with the magic editor and stuff as far as moving objects and
04:57you know
04:58Manipulating photos and stuff like that and it gives you like you see like a variety of different
05:03Kind of edits here
05:05And you can get a new set of results blah blah blah
05:08And um, yeah, so the the magic editor
05:10You know, it works really well for you know doing certain things
05:14And yeah, so a lot of the the google experience or the stock inter experience is surrounded by these google apps
05:20Now next is definitely the display on here
05:23So the pixel 8 pro has a very good display this year
05:27Now they used to have a curved display, but they moved recently to a flat panel and this is a move that has been
05:34You know liked by critics and users now. I do personally like the curved displays, but this is a great display
05:41It's ltpo. It's oled. It's 120 hertz hdr10 plus it goes up to 2400 nits peak brightness at 6.7
05:49inches and it's a you know, basically a
05:511440p
05:53Display and it's 489 for the ppi and it's a very good display
05:57What I like about this phone is that it's very comfortable to hold as well, too
06:02um, so I think that's not mentioned a lot compared to its main competitors like the
06:07S24 ultra and the iphone 15 pro max
06:10Uh, this definitely definitely is a way easier
06:14To hold it's not as sharp on the edges. And yeah, i've just had a really good experience with the display
06:20Uh overall, you know very slim bezels and just a very nice colorful panel as you guys can see
06:26So really no issues with the panel google used to make
06:29Uh, their display designs didn't used to be that great if we go
06:33I think
06:34past the
06:36Yeah before the pixel 6 pro the displays either the bezels were chunky or there was always something
06:42But they've really nailed the display, uh on here this year
06:46Now, of course it's going to be the cameras next this phone
06:50I still think takes some of the best steals, you know in any smartphone right now
06:55And like I said considering the price it's just extremely impressive
06:58So you do have a 50 megapixel standard it has a 48 megapixel telephoto lens has five times optical zoom
07:05And then you also have a 48 megapixel ultra wide it shoots in 4k 60 with a 10.5 megapixel ultra wide selfie
07:12That also shoots in 4k 60 and these are phenomenal phenomenal
07:17Cameras guys. I absolutely love it if i'm gonna like take you know steals i'm gonna definitely use
07:24The pixel phone and not only that I film pretty much all of my youtube shorts
07:29With the pixel so before that I was using a 7 pro now i'm using the 8 pro
07:34And yeah, I just absolutely love the cameras on here
07:37So I think the video is really good too, even though I think you know apple makes some of the best video
07:42But I still prefer the color profile of the pixel
07:45It feels like I don't have to do a lot of editing with the colors
07:48Um, but yeah, the the photos are absolutely fantastic skin tones are always nice dynamic range is great
07:56Also, it just takes great photos, you know, either way you want to you know, you want to put it
08:01uh, whether it's you know low light or
08:04whether you're
08:06You know in any good type of lighting, uh, it's just very impressive
08:10The ai editor as well does a really good job or the the editor in general is just really nice
08:15The zoom photography is great. There's nothing that I don't like about the pixel 8 pro's cameras. It's really really good
08:22Now those were my top five things now. I want to address some other things questions
08:27The battery life is it's pretty good on the pixel. It's not bad. You know, it's a
08:325000 milliamp hour battery you have 30 watt charging wireless and reverse wireless charging battery life is not bad at all
08:39I don't think the battery life is a highlight. They've definitely
08:42stepped it up on the
08:45Standby time but screen on time is pretty good. Uh, you get good battery life out of this phone, but it's nothing
08:50You know anything too crazy
08:52I don't think it beats the s24 or the 15 pro max in a battery drain test
08:56Not that i've seen online anywhere and then also the speakers on here are pretty good
09:02Let me max the volume out
09:17These are pretty good speakers they have a lot of bass to them and um, I think
09:22Pixels have always had really good speakers. And also I think the fingerprint scanner definitely needs some work
09:29Um, you know, it's not as fast as the samsung one
09:32The ultrasonic one. It's just an optical one and it works just fine
09:36But it's like again the optical ones you kind of have to put that
09:40That little bit of pressure on it. Whereas the ultrasonic ones you can kind of just lightly tap them and they'll go in
09:46um, but yeah, you can take advantage of face unlock as well too on here, so
09:50You know, I absolutely love the pixel. The design is still really nice on here as well, too
09:55I think it's very comfortable to hold again
09:58And um, yeah, I absolutely love
