00:00What's up guys, today I wanted to revisit the Pixel 6 Pro here
00:04Such an awesome device that I don't think people talk about enough
00:08And it's sort of gotten forgot about since the Pixel 7 Pro and the S23 Ultra
00:14Has been taking up a lot of the coverage on tech channels and stuff like that
00:19This phone is absolutely crazy good deal right now
00:23On Amazon it's $268 for a Lotte T-Mobile version
00:27And they have really good versions going for like $289 as well too
00:33And it's just an awesome deal and I think if you want a fully unlocked version it's like $300
00:40Right now I have those links down below but seriously impressive guys
00:44And since this phone has gotten updates, it's on Android 13
00:48Since it's gotten the steady updates this phone has become extremely smooth as well too
00:54When I first got it, it was sort of a little bit glitchy and it would crash doing just random things
01:00But it's just extremely smooth like the Pixel 7 Pro
01:04So it's just buttery, buttery smooth
01:07Like I said, Pixel phones are some of the smoothest phones when it comes to animations on Android in my opinion
01:13I even think it's smoother in One UI
01:16So let's go ahead and jump into I think one of my favorite things about this phone
01:20So, like I always say on the channel, if I'm going somewhere and I want to take like serious photos
01:26I know I'm going to be taking photos
01:28This is a phone that I'll bring, I'll bring a Pixel phone with me
01:31Because of the image quality is just top notch on these Pixel phones guys
01:37It is really, really good
01:38So this phone here, it still has a top tier camera compared to an iPhone 14 Pro Max, S23 Ultra
01:47And it's still going to take top tier photos for $300
01:5050MP sensor on here, 48MP telephoto lens
01:55It has 4X optical zoom
01:57And then you have a 12MP ultra wide
01:59It also has 4K 60 video and then a 11.1MP ultra wide selfie cam on here as well
02:06And that shoots in 4K 30
02:08Now, the stills on here are exactly what you would expect
02:12Really, really well detailed, especially with the 50MP on
02:16If you want to zoom in the shots, it looks really great
02:18Dynamic range is great
02:20Google's image processing is just absolutely awesome on this phone guys
02:24Colors, how it gets skin toned
02:27I just absolutely love it
02:29I think the only thing that you could say is
02:32It could be a weak spot compared to Samsung and iPhone
02:35It's probably that the video is not as good as those phones
02:39But I think the stills really make up for it, honestly
02:43But yeah, the video
02:45And me personally, I don't think the video is bad
02:47Because I like to use the Pixel 7 Pro to film my shorts
02:50They have improved it with that phone
02:52This phone is really not that bad, the video quality
02:55I think it's pretty decent for what it is
03:00But I just absolutely love the cameras on here guys
03:03I think it takes phenomenal shots
03:04Like I said, great with skin tones
03:06Great dynamic range
03:08Good detail
03:09Ultra wide is great
03:10You have the 4x zoom on here, which is really nice
03:15And like I said, at this price, I don't think anybody
03:18Is going to complain about the cameras on here
03:21It's just top tier photos on here
03:24The portrait mode is awesome
03:25There's nothing about the stills on this phone that I don't like
03:29Now, a very awesome thing about owning a Pixel phone
03:32Is you're running the pure stock version of Android
03:35So unlike One UI, you'll see dual applications
03:37Like Samsung Messenger, the Google Messenger
03:40And then you'll see, you know, Google Photos
03:43And then Samsung Gallery
03:44This is just straight up Google, no bloatware
03:48Everything is Google on this phone
03:49You swipe left, you have Google Now
03:51Newsfeed, which I absolutely love, I use it all the time
03:54And you have the Google bar right here
03:58That's always right here, even when you swipe
04:01And I absolutely love it
04:02It's just the Google experience is awesome
04:04Not only that, but software updates with these Google phones
04:08Is always very fast
04:10And when Android 14 comes out
04:12This phone would be one of the first phones to get it
04:14And like I said, if you're somebody that's really pressed about software updates
04:18Say a beta comes out, you're the first one to get it
04:20Test it out, test the new features out
04:22So having a Pixel phone is awesome for that reason
04:26Just super smooth, super clean
04:28And like I said, not a ton of stuff you can do
04:30It's not like One UI where you come into settings
04:33And you have just a ton of stuff that you can change
04:36And extra features and customizations
04:39It's just plain Jane
04:41Google did do a little customization with the newer version of Android
04:45But it's nothing compared to One UI
04:48But for those who like simplicity
04:51You're going to really like this
04:53Like I said, very smooth, very sleek, very simple
04:57Now the Google Tensor chip has held up pretty well in 2023
05:02So this phone, it does have the original Google Tensor chip
05:06128 GB of internal storage and 12 GB of RAM
05:0912 GB of RAM is the base model on this phone
05:12Now this phone did pretty well
05:14I did a full gaming test on this phone actually
05:16And it did great for gaming
05:18Like I said, this phone is not going to perform as well
05:21On the benchmarks as the Snapdragon chips of course
05:24But I think for the casual person
05:26Bouncing in and out of applications
05:28Running games like PUBG, HDR Extreme
05:31Call of Duty at the highest settings
05:33It did a phenomenal job
05:34I think the only game it kind of struggled with was Fortnite
05:38But again, Fortnite, it depends on how well the game is optimized
05:42Because sometimes, phones that are super powerful
05:45Fortnite kind of plays funny
05:47But I'm telling you, it does a great job still at gaming
05:50So I feel like if you're a casual gamer
05:53You won't have an issue with that at all
05:55Like I said, with these updates
05:57Super speedy, super smooth
05:59Tons of RAM for multitasking
06:01It's just a very, very fast experience guys
06:06Now I'm still a big fan of this display on here
06:09It's an LTPO AMOLED display
06:11It's 120 Hz and it's HDR10 Plus
06:14It's 6.67 inches
06:161440p, 512 for the PPI
06:19It's a big beautiful panel, very bright colors
06:22And it's not super boxy
06:26To hold as well too
06:28So it kind of feels comfortable
06:29It's not like boxy like a note phone
06:32It's still kind of easy to hold in the palms
06:35Very comfortable
06:36And the screen on here is just beautiful
06:38Like I said, it's LTPO
06:39It's very bright as well too, which is nice
06:43And I've had no issues with the panel on here
06:46I think it looks fantastic still
06:49And a lot of people
06:51You may or may not like the curve on here
06:54There is a pretty dramatic curve on this phone
06:57But like I said, I've always liked the curve
06:59I think it just makes the phone feel a little bit more expensive
07:03In my opinion
07:05But yeah, so the display on here is awesome
07:07You got your punch hole up front
07:10And I just think it's great
07:11So no issues with the display
07:12Big beautiful display, 1440p
07:15Very high resolution
07:16Everything looks super sharp and colorful
07:18Just no issues here
07:20Now lastly, I want to touch on battery life with this phone
07:24So the battery life is pretty decent on here
07:27Like I said, the Pixel 7 Pro did improve on the battery life
07:30The only thing about this phone is
07:31I don't like the standby time on here
07:35It is capable of getting a full six hours of screen on time
07:38For me as sort of a lighter user
07:40I'm not a huge gamer
07:42But the standby time is just not as good as I wanted to
07:45Like I said, that problem is pretty much fixed
07:48With the Pixel 7 Pro
07:49It does have a 5000 milliamp battery on here
07:53And then you also have 23 watt wired charging
07:56And then you also have the wireless charging as well
07:59Which is 23 watts
08:01So it charges decently fast, kinda
08:06And like I said, the battery life is okay on this phone
08:09Like I said, you can definitely get six hours of screen on time
08:12So it's not by any means bad
08:14It's just that I noticed that
08:17If I leave this phone out
08:20And I don't touch it, it'll die
08:22As opposed to the Pixel 7 Pro
08:24If I leave it out, don't use it
08:25I'll still have juice in that phone
08:27But that is pretty much it guys
08:31There are some little nitpick things about this phone
08:34Like the fingerprint scanner I wish was a little bit faster
08:37It does work, it's an optical one
08:39So you have to apply a little bit of pressure to it
08:43But like I said, you can see it's working fine
08:46You just apply a little bit of pressure
08:47Like the Samsung one, you can just tap
08:49This one you sort of have to apply pressure to it
08:51Which is fine
08:53My only thing about this phone
08:54Which they also added with the 7 Pro
08:56Is that this phone doesn't have face unlock
08:59Which I would really like
09:01But other than that, it's pretty solid
09:03And oh yeah, I wanna show you guys these speakers
09:05So these speakers are pretty impressive too
09:08Speakers at max volume
09:18And by the way, there's no sound
09:19Actually coming out of this one
09:20It's just this one
09:22Alright so, that is pretty much it guys
09:24Overall, just a solid phone at this price point
09:27You get an awesome flagship phone
09:29Beautiful display, great camera
09:31I still think it's really fast as well too
09:34Great software experience
09:35There's really nothing not to like about this phone
09:38Awesome speakers
09:39For this price, it just beats any phone
09:42So yeah, that's my review
09:44And I really hope that you guys liked it
