00:06Whether that's an extra controller, webcam, headset, or devices that provide serious quality-of-life improvements.
00:14So, in this video, we've composed a brief consumer guide and reviewed the top 10 PS5 accessories you should buy right now.
00:22For more information on the products, we've included links in the description box down below.
00:27Let's get started.
00:301. Corsair MP600 PRO-LPX
00:44The MP600 PRO-LPX is the drive to get if you want supreme performance for just about any storage needs.
00:51The drive exceeds all Sony PS5 M.2 performance requirements, so large game files load faster than ever directly from the SSD.
01:00The 1TB version can hit read speeds of 7,100MBps and write speeds of 5,800MBps.
01:09And if you want to double the storage to 2TB, you'll get a higher 6,800MBps write speed.
01:16You can get it in up to 4TB capacities as well, meaning there's a wide range of sizes to choose from.
01:262. Sony Plus 3D Wireless Headset
01:30As the PS5 lacks the Dolby Atmos support of the Xbox Series X, Sony's answer to more immersive sound was through the Tempest 3D AudioTek.
01:39The headset comes with connects to Sony's console with a wireless USB adapter, so you'll also be able to use this headset with your computer.
01:47You can also expect to get up to 12 hours of wireless play, and it comes with integrated rechargeable batteries.
01:53If you want to hear what current-gen audio is all about, then the Pulse 3D impresses, with its relatively humble of US$100.
02:043. Sony DualSense Controller
02:07The DualSense is one of the best controllers Sony has ever put its name on.
02:11Providing players with an even better immersive experience, its thumbsticks are still superbly comfortable, and it's still comfortable to use after hours of use.
02:19It's not too expensive either, at US$70.
02:23Besides, the controller makes it simple to connect to your PC using Bluetooth, which means it'll also be a solid option as a phone controller for mobile gaming.
02:32If you're a fan of parallel sticks or just Sony shenanigans in general, the DualSense is a killer pad with impressive capabilities.
02:422. Logitech G923
02:45If you're looking to take the best racing games to the next level, then the Logitech G923 is the perfect wheel for the job.
02:53By far the biggest selling point of this wheel is Logitech's TrueForce technology, which provides a direct link to in-game physics.
03:01Of course, the G923 has its foibles.
03:05If you're rallying around in one of the few games that actually supports TrueForce, its feedback can get a bit noisy.
03:12Apart from that, you can control the sensitivity of the wheel, force feedback levels, and simulated steering.
03:18Logitech G-Hub gaming software enables button customization right from the controller.
03:24It also costs half as much as more complex racing wheels at US$400.
03:29If you're looking for that bit of extra realism and precision, the US$350 Logitech G923 is the best racing wheel to get for the PS5 right now.
03:421. PlayStation Portal
03:44If you're looking for a way to play your favorite PS5 games while simultaneously sharing the TV with others in your household,
03:51then the PlayStation Portal enables you to do just that.
03:54A handheld device that features a sharp 1080-pixel LCD display and all the advantages of a DualSense wireless controller,
04:02the Portal gives you access to your PS5 library via remote play in a portable fashion.
04:09The PlayStation Portal will cost US$200, and for that price, it offers the freedom to play your favorite PS5 games anytime, anywhere,
04:18provided there's a fast Wi-Fi connection nearby.
04:232. DualSense Charging Station
04:26The PS5's DualSense is an impressive piece of tech, and maybe the best controller created to date.
04:32It does have one big flaw, though. It's battery life.
04:35Having to tether your controllers to your console at regular intervals can be a little frustrating.
04:40That's why this charging station is a must-have for gamers.
04:43It's not too expensive either, at US$30.
04:47You can drop up to two controllers on it, and they'll recharge via the contact pins on their bottoms.
04:52You should see controllers fully charged in 3-4.5 hours with this one.
04:583. Sony PS5 Media Remote
05:01While the PS5 Media Remote isn't strictly necessary,
05:05we think it's definitely worth considering for anyone who uses their PS5 console as their main multimedia machine.
05:12As people who spend just as much time watching the likes of Netflix and Disney Plus on their machine as they do gaming,
05:18the PS5 Media Remote uses standard AA batteries just as you would find with a conventional TV clicker.
05:25You can expect around 12 hours of playback out of this accessory as well,
05:29which is much longer than the DualSense by comparison.
05:32It's US$30, and it provides many of the controller's inputs,
05:36letting you hop between system menus, everything shy of playing games.
05:43PS5 HD Camera
05:46If you want to become a streamer, or you're looking to upgrade your setup,
05:51the PS5 HD Camera might be a good choice for you.
05:55It captures video at 1080p with a pair of wide-angle lenses to capture a wide range of shots.
06:01It also comes with built-in background removal tools,
06:04so you can easily add yourself to your gameplay videos without having to buy and set up a giant green screen.
06:10There's no need to reach for specific software here.
06:13However, you won't be getting the absolute pinnacle of image quality,
06:17but for a standard streaming setup, this option is well worth taking a punt on.
06:21That's because it currently sells for US$60,
06:24which is much cheaper than your run-of-the-mill HD shooter, and comes from an established brand.
06:32PlayStation VR 2
06:34The VR 2 is a true generational leap that makes the old one look like a piece of junk.
06:39It's not exactly cheap, but for US$550, you get a high-end headset with a 4K,
06:45HDR-enabled OLED screen, a 120Hz refresh rate,
06:50a 110-degree field of view, built-in tracking cameras, and eye tracking.
06:56Plus two of its SlickSense controllers with the excellent adaptive triggers,
07:00and haptic feedback Sony introduced with the PlayStation 5's DualSense controller.
07:05The catch is that it requires you to be connected to a PS5 by a single USB-C cable,
07:11but that means it's much, much more powerful when it comes to delivering fantastic graphics
07:16than a self-contained headset like the MetaQuest 2.
07:21Sony Inzone M9 27-inch
07:25The US$800 Inzone M9 is a pricey but excellent monitor for S5 gamers
07:31looking for the best in the business in a smaller form factor.
07:34With 96 brightness zones and a full array of local dimming,
07:38the M9 delivers excellent HDR performance,
07:41while maxing out the PS5 at 4K and 144Hz with ease.
07:46With a peak brightness of up to 600 nits for HDR content,
07:50as well as Auto HDR tone mapping and Auto Genre Picture mode on offer,
07:54the M9 holds its own against some of the best in the business.
07:58The Inzone M9's stand design is also very similar to that of the PS5,
08:02making it a great addition to your desk next to the PS5.
