00:12I seek refuge with Allah from the accursed Satan.
00:14I seek refuge with Allah from the accursed Satan.
00:16I seek refuge with Allah from the accursed Satan.
00:18I seek refuge with Allah from the accursed Satan.
00:20I seek refuge with Allah from the accursed Satan.
00:22I seek refuge with Allah from the accursed Satan.
00:24I seek refuge with Allah from the accursed Satan.
00:26I seek refuge with Allah from the accursed Satan.
00:28Surah Hajj verse number 37.
00:36The meaning of verse number 37 is that
00:40the animals that you sacrifice,
00:48their meat, their blood,
00:52Allah says that it does not reach me.
00:56Rather, the righteousness,
01:02the sincerity,
01:06reaches me.
01:08And after that,
01:12I have made your slaughtered animals
01:16obedient to you,
01:18I have made them humble.
01:22After that,
01:26praise me,
01:28glorify me,
01:30and Allah likes those who are grateful.
01:36This is the meaning of this verse.
01:42The request is that
01:46the word Qurbani is from the word Qurban
01:52and its meaning is nearness.
01:56In order to attain the nearness of Allah,
01:58a person should work.
02:02This is also the same.
02:04This is gratitude.
02:06This is Allah's mercy.
02:08But the real thing that is being said is that
02:14there is sincerity.
02:16That is, we should correct our intentions.
02:20All the Muhaddithin,
02:26they have started all the books of Ahadith
02:30from Bab-ul-Wahi.
02:34Imam Bukhari has also started from Bab-ul-Wahi.
02:40But the first Hadith that he gave
02:44is that
02:46actions are based on intentions.
02:58So the intention should be correct.
03:02If we do all the worships of God,
03:06if our intention is correct,
03:08then Salah will be done.
03:10It will be rewarded.
03:12Otherwise, Salah will not be done.
03:14If the intention is not correct in Hajj,
03:18then Hajj will not be done.
03:20If the intention is not correct in Qurbani,
03:22then Qurbani will not be done.
03:24If the intention is not correct in Zakat,
03:26then Zakat will not be done.
03:28Because Allah sees sincerity.
03:30Therefore,
03:34whoever has the opportunity,
03:38he should buy an animal
03:40and present it in front of Allah.
03:42But it is not appropriate to display it.
03:46Allah does not like display.
03:50It is a matter of sincerity.
03:52The Quran is talking about sincerity.
03:54And secondly,
03:58when we go to the markets
04:00to buy animals,
04:02the animals that are being sold,
04:06they try to remove the skin of the cows as well.
04:08This is a common practice.
04:10There are good people as well.
04:12So good merchants,
04:16who take good profits,
04:18who do good work,
04:20they have a high status.
04:22It is mentioned in the Hadith that
04:24they are with the martyrs and prophets.
04:26But the bad merchants,
04:30their status is in hell.
04:34Therefore,
04:36the animals that are being sold,
04:38they should not deceive anyone.
04:44And they should take the price
04:46so that their work is done
04:48and their work is done.
04:50Because this is not a business.
04:52This is not a business.
04:54There should not be a business
04:56in these hearts.
04:58And the animals that are being sold,
05:00they should do it with sincerity.
05:02As much as they want,
05:04they should do it.
05:06But they should be sincere.
05:10Because if the intention is not right,
05:14the intention is that
05:16I should show others
05:18how many goats I have bought,
05:20how many animals I have bought,
05:22how much I have done,
05:24then Allah does not like it.
05:28This is the meaning of Surah Hajj,
05:32verse number 37.
05:36This is what I understood.
05:38This is what I understand.
05:42After that,
05:44I will tell you that
05:46this religion,
05:48to please Allah and His Messenger,
05:52to obey His commandments,
05:56to satisfy their desires,
05:58to satisfy their desires,
06:00to satisfy their desires,
06:02this religion,
06:04in this religion,
06:06one's own desire does not work,
06:08one's own intellect does not work.
06:10Here, in front of the commandments of Allah and His Messenger,
06:12where the intellect comes,
06:14then the intellect should also be sacrificed.
06:16This is also sacrifice.
06:20That is why,
06:22when the commandment was given to Abraham,
06:26to sacrifice his child,
06:28then the child was asked with great prayers.
06:32And the love was also great.
06:34But he did not think of anything.
06:38He only thought of one thing,
06:40that what does my Lord want.
06:42And the Prophet was about to stab the Prophet's throat.
06:48And the son also said,
06:50do as you are commanded.
06:52This is mentioned in the Holy Quran.
06:54O Allah, do not worry about me.
06:58So, this sacrifice,
07:00in the presence of Allah,
07:02is to present yourself.
07:04So, in this verse,
07:06a special thing was said,
07:08that these animals,
07:10these animals,
07:12they have been sacrificed for you.
07:16That is,
07:18you have been given dominance over them.
07:20Now you make them fall,
07:22you make them suffer.
07:24This is the meaning I am trying to convey.
07:26This is what I have said in the Quran.
07:30After all, this is also a life.
07:32Even a goat has pain,
07:34when it is stabbed.
07:36The Prophet said,
07:38until the goat is not finished,
07:40or the animal of sacrifice is not finished,
07:42do not cut its flesh.
07:44Otherwise,
07:46that flesh will be forbidden
07:48until the animal is not finished.
07:50That is,
07:52it is in pain.
07:54So, Allah Almighty is saying here,
07:56that I have given
07:58these lives to these people
08:00in the presence of Allah.
08:02So,
08:04I have made these lives
08:06your food.
08:08These animals,
08:10lying at your feet,
08:12are not presenting
08:14their lives.
08:16They are sacrificing themselves.
08:18I have sacrificed them
08:20for the sake of man,
08:22Allah Almighty is saying.
08:24So, can you not sacrifice
08:26your desire for your self
08:28for my desire?
08:30Can you not even prostrate
08:32in gratitude
08:34for my sincere intention
08:36for my sacrifice?
08:40I have given my life
08:42for you.
08:44So, man,
08:46what are you doing for me?
08:50I am doing this for you.
08:54So, understand the meaning
08:56of sacrifice.
08:58Life is very precious
09:00in the sight of Allah.
09:02But,
09:04life has been given to man
09:06for his desire.
09:08We have been commanded to eat it.
09:10But,
09:12think about it,
09:14I am eating
09:16its flesh and everything.
09:18And the one who has asked for sacrifice,
09:20he does not even get the flesh,
09:22nor does he get the blood.
09:24I am eating it.
09:26I am using its flesh and everything.
09:30So, at least,
09:32I should understand that
09:34when I stab this goat today,
09:36I should stab
09:38my desire for my self as well.
09:42This is sacrifice.
09:44This is the philosophy of sacrifice.
09:46That
09:48I should stab myself
09:50and my desires
09:52which are against the command of Allah.
09:54I should stab myself on that day.
09:56And after that,
09:58I should not go towards the work
10:00which Allah and His Messenger have forbidden.
10:02This is also a sacrifice.
10:04To attain the nearness of Allah.
10:08Therefore, it is a request
10:10that if
10:14we correct
10:16our intentions,
10:18we correct ourselves,
10:20and we follow
10:22the commandments of Allah.
10:28I have mentioned
10:30the 8th Zil-Hajj.
10:32The 8th Zil-Hajj.
10:34The 8th Zil-Hajj
10:36when it is
10:38commanded
10:40that you should go to Mina
10:42and offer the remaining 5 prayers,
10:44and leave Masjid-e-Haram,
10:46then in Masjid-e-Haram,
10:48the reward of one prayer
10:50is equal to 100,000 prayers.
10:54However, it is commanded
10:56that you should not offer the prayers here.
10:58You should go to Mina and offer the prayers
11:00from Zuhr till the next Fajr.
11:02Till the Fajr of the 9th Zil-Hajj.
11:04You should offer these prayers.
11:06You should not offer the prayers here.
11:08So, if the intellect thinks
11:10that the reward of one prayer
11:12is equal to 100,000 prayers,
11:14then it is not true.
11:16If the intellect thinks that
11:18the reward of one prayer
11:20is equal to 100,000 prayers,
11:22then it is not true.
11:24Because the reward of one prayer
11:26is less than the reward of the Hajj.
11:28So, the intellect has to go to Mina
11:30and offer the prayers.
11:32Then the Hajj will be completed.
11:34This indicates that Allah Almighty
11:36is saying that
11:38nothing should be kept in any place
11:40or any place.
11:42Nothing should be kept in any city
11:44or any place.
11:46Whatever is there, it is under my command.
11:50And when I command you,
11:52then you should do it.
11:54When I forbid you,
11:56then you should not do it.
11:58This is the sacrifice.
12:00So, pray to Allah Almighty.
12:02May Allah Almighty grant me and you
12:04the ability to follow
12:06what I have said.
