00:00It was really a challenge for her to walk. I was dumbfounded, mortified. I really just
00:07couldn't get her off my mind. I really jumped on the idea of fostering. We
00:13wanted her to lose at least 50 pounds.
00:20Time for walkie-walkie. I know it's early. One of her main physical challenges was
00:27literally just standing up. She could not stand to eat her food or to drink
00:32her water. It took a little bit for her to play. The most rewarding part for me
00:49was really seeing her become a dog.
01:1976.12! Oh my god! She surpassed that goal. Margo went from 120 pounds to 55. Life has changed in a lot of ways for her.
01:38Instead of being the dog behind us, she's now the dog in front. There's just so
01:44much she has never been able to do because of her weight.
02:04Now that we've gone through this journey together, it's been such a joy
02:09seeing Margo take on all new experiences, things she was never able
02:13to do before.
02:20It makes me so happy to see her journey come full circle. The sky's the limit for Margo.
02:27After I wrote up a little blurb as to what Margo's perfect home would be, I
02:33just couldn't do it.
02:40She's in her perfect home. It wasn't long after that that we signed the adoption
02:46papers. She is now officially part of the pack.
