00:00In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, Peace be upon you.
00:21I welcome you all to this special program of KaheFaqih.org
00:28in which Syed Safaraz Ahmed Shah Sahib has arrived.
00:31He will address you, talk to you and answer your questions.
00:36Syed Safaraz Ahmed Shah Sahib is not in need of any introduction.
00:40You all know him. You have read his books.
00:43You have heard him.
00:45His TV program is also called Fakir.
00:49On the Q channel of ARY.
00:51You must have seen that as well.
00:53And even if you haven't, please share it with your friends.
00:56Share this website as well.
00:58KaheFaqih.org
01:00And the program as well.
01:02So that you get to know how you are going to talk to spiritual powers.
01:10And you will get guidance for your life.
01:14To make it a reality.
01:16Shah Sahib is a highly educated professional.
01:19Along with worldly knowledge, he is also interested in Islamic and spiritual knowledge.
01:26In this regard, as I have mentioned,
01:3010 books have been published.
01:33Meaning, Kahe Faqih, Fakiran, Fakirnagri etc.
01:36And you can read and listen to all these books in detail
01:41on the website of KaheFaqih.org
01:47In this regard, we will tell you more about Kahe Faqih.org
01:53But let's start with Shah Sahib.
01:56The first question is,
01:58A person is asking, how can a person be aware of this?
02:02In the eyes of God, what is his respect?
02:05What is his status?
02:07Nowadays,
02:10One thing that we see in our society,
02:17It seems strange.
02:24The religion has made things very clear to us.
02:31And it is also very clear
02:35that the day of reckoning
02:39depends on our deeds.
02:44In our religion, it has been clearly stated
02:50that Muslims should do this work
02:54and should not do this work.
02:58Our attitude, I am talking about myself.
03:02My attitude is that
03:05I am not at all concerned about those things
03:11based on which
03:14my decision will be made on the day of reckoning.
03:18Where should I go?
03:21Right hand or left hand?
03:24We are always curious and curious
03:29about things that are far beyond our understanding.
03:36Since I was a child,
03:38when I opened my eyes and heard
03:42that God has forbidden lying,
03:49even after spending so much time,
03:52I have not been able to stop lying.
03:57God has forbidden to kill someone's right.
04:02But I have not been able to stop killing someone else's right.
04:11Whenever there is a program on TV,
04:14I try to draw people's attention to it.
04:23Even though we have learned only one thing about knowledge,
04:32we do not pay attention to it.
04:37In our projection,
04:41our teachers are doing a great service.
04:47Scholars are doing a great service.
04:51And we do not deny their service.
04:55In fact, we should appreciate their service.
05:00None of us will be able to do the work
05:04that our teachers do.
05:08For example,
05:10you can take a teacher by a parachute
05:15to the depths of the Amazon.
05:18Or you can take him to the top of Mount Everest.
05:22He will call out to you on time.
05:26Even though he knows that he will not be heard.
05:29No one will come.
05:31But he will call out to you on time
05:35and you will offer your prayers on time.
05:38You and I cannot do this work with this restriction.
05:42The member of the mosque, the mass media,
05:46has the greatest influence.
05:49If we take action from that member
05:53and call people to the extent that
05:56we start working on the things that we are familiar with,
06:03so that we do not have to wake up every day.
06:08Our lives will be saved.
06:11Let me answer your question.
06:15I read a hadith when I was in class 6 or 7.
06:21If someone wants to see that God is pleased with him,
06:28he should see that the people of God are pleased with him.
06:33Similarly, when God is pleased with someone,
06:38he accepts him in his creation.
06:43To know whether God is pleased with us or loves us,
06:51we should see the attitude of the people of God towards us.
06:56Then we will know.
07:00I want to apologize.
07:02In the beginning, I said a lot of nonsense.
07:06But if people are called to this side,
07:11then I think the society will understand very quickly.
07:15Let's start with your questions.
07:18Which one would you like to talk about?
07:21Yes, please give the mic to him first.
07:24The one in front, the one in the coat.
07:27There are Dajjali forces and Rehmani forces in the world.
07:30Dajjali forces are on board very quickly.
07:32People are attracted to them.
07:34When people try to be attracted to Rehmani forces,
07:37they are told that they will be destroyed,
07:39their business will be destroyed.
07:41So, there is a little bit of discouragement,
07:43especially when we read the class.
07:45So, isn't it time to change the protocols,
07:48to make it a little easier to onboard this class?
07:52I said this in the beginning.
07:54He is actually saying the same thing.
08:22The outcome is very good.
08:25If we keep away from the temporal gains
08:30and focus on the fact that in this world,
08:33in our lives,
08:37we start getting the reward of that good deed,
08:41even though it comes a little late,
08:44then we will not have any problem.
08:48Look at the lives of the Prophets.
08:52Look at the lives of the world.
08:54It is very difficult.
08:56Look at the lives of the saints.
08:59It is very difficult.
09:01It is said about the saints that
09:04those who love the saints are one third
09:09and those who oppose them are two thirds.
09:12This resistance will remain.
09:15And probably the reward is that
09:18when we fight against our ego
09:21and ignore the temporal gains and benefits
09:27and follow the commandments of God,
09:30then we start getting the rewards of it in this world
09:33and we will get it in the hereafter.
09:35Which one would you like to talk about?
09:38Yes, please give him the mic first.
09:40Peace be upon you.
09:41Mr. Shah, I would like to ask
09:43if we can integrate this teaching with today's advanced teachings
09:48and will this integration be better or correct?
09:52Alhamdulillah, this is being worked on all over the world.
09:59And the scholars who are educated are working on this.
10:07The Islamic teachings and commandments
10:12are being explained in accordance with the requirements of the modern world
10:19or the requirements of science.
10:25Many people are working on this in the world
10:29that the commandments of Islam
10:34should be presented in such a way
10:37that the Islamic teachings and commandments
10:40should be explained in accordance with the requirements of science.
10:44This is what science says about this.
10:48The people who are educated
10:52because today's youth is of an awakened mind
10:55and has Western education.
10:58His mind is very logical
11:00and he wants to apply everything to logic.
11:03This is being worked on in our country.
11:05Many people are working on this.
11:09I will give you a small example of the Islamic teachings and commandments.
11:15Why is ablution necessary?
11:19Even though the physical body is not impure
11:26ablution is necessary.
11:31If for some reason
11:34the ablution is broken due to something that is not visible
11:42the signs of prayer
11:47like Takbeer, Qiyam, Ruku and Sajood
11:53are being given a scientific explanation.
12:00Why is Ruku one?
12:04Why is Sajood two?
12:08People are explaining this
12:11with a scientific explanation
12:15as to what the reason is.
12:18This is how ablution is taught.
12:24All these things have been explained
12:27and it is a good thing
12:29that we do not omit the Islamic teachings
12:32just because the Lord says so.
12:40This is a good thing for non-believers.
12:44It is a very superior thing.
12:47However, the logical mind of the youth
12:50is not ready to accept this.
12:53They say,
12:54you have to prove to me logically
12:57why this is the case.
12:59People are proving this.
13:03I try to explain this as much as I can.
13:10On one hand, there are the religious teachings
13:12and on the other hand,
13:14science and logic prove this.
13:43You are right.
13:45This is how it is.
13:48But there is a reason for this.
13:52If we do not know
13:54that a person has gone this way,
13:58we ask people
14:00if such a person has gone this way.
14:03Then we follow that person.
14:07Or if there is a place
14:10where we see footprints,
14:12we follow the footprints
14:15and go where the person has gone.
14:19Unfortunately,
14:20like I said in the beginning,
14:23but it is a fact,
14:26we have a lighthouse.
14:31A lighthouse is built in the sea
14:35so that the ships lost in the storm
14:39can find their way.
14:42We have a similar lighthouse
14:46from where we can find the right way.
14:53We do not go that way.
14:56I often say that
15:00the safest way is
15:03to follow the Sunnah
15:07which is my practical life.
15:10When I take any step in it,
15:13I will see
15:15what the Prophet did on such an occasion.
15:19I will follow it.
15:22It will be like
15:24we follow the footprints
15:27and go where the person has gone.
15:31If we follow the Sunnah,
15:35then we will definitely
15:38attain the Lord's nearness.
15:41But until we follow the Sunnah,
15:46you may ask,
15:49why Sunnah?
15:51Why not Quran-e-Pak?
15:53I would like to say
15:56that Sunnah is actually the Quran.
15:59There is no action of the Prophet
16:02which is not in accordance with the Quran.
16:05So, when we follow the Quran,
16:09we are following the commandments
16:12of the Quran.
16:15Just as the Prophet asked a question
16:18in the beginning
16:20that the Lord will be pleased with us.
16:25This is the way which will please the Lord
16:28and the Lord will be pleased with us.
16:31So, we follow the Sunnah
16:33of the Prophet
16:35with our eyes closed.
16:38So, when you said that
16:40the heart does not open,
16:42then you should practice
16:44and see how the heart will open.
16:47You are a doctor,
16:50and you save people from pain
16:53by the command of the Lord.
16:55This is a very good thing.
16:58Maybe you are not getting
17:00as much happiness from it.
17:02Maybe your heart does not open from it.
17:05But sometimes,
17:07try to feed a hungry person
17:10in the name of the Lord
17:13without any loss.
17:16And then tell me
17:18whether your heart opened or not.
17:21Sometimes,
17:23the bus fare that you have in your pocket
17:25or the taxi fare that you have in your pocket,
17:28give it to a needy person
17:30in the scorching afternoon of June.
17:32Go to your home and see
17:34how much relief you get
17:36after taking that pain.
17:39How much happiness you get.
17:42There are two kinds of happiness.
17:45One is the happiness
17:47that we keep looking for.
17:49And the other is the true happiness.
17:52You will not get the true happiness.
17:54You get the true happiness
17:56as I told you.
17:58For the people of Allah,
18:00they sacrifice themselves
18:03for their needs,
18:05for their comfort,
18:07for their desires.
18:09They sacrifice for others
18:11and for those people
18:13whom we do not know.
18:15And especially for those
18:17whom we do not know.
18:19So, the satisfaction that comes
18:21in the heart after that
18:23is very little.
18:25The heart opens.
18:27But the condition is
18:29that we go on this path.
18:31Since your profession is a doctor,
18:33I will give an example of a doctor.
18:35May Allah have mercy on him.
18:37He has passed away.
18:39He was a urologist.
18:41Once, I went to his clinic
18:43in the evening
18:45and sat down
18:47to talk to him.
18:49I saw
18:51a miracle in him.
18:55One patient
18:57came and gave the fees.
18:59Another patient came
19:01and gave the fees.
19:03Another patient came
19:05and told him to go and eat this.
19:07He said, I cannot eat bread.
19:09How can I eat this?
19:11So, he quietly put his hand
19:13in his pocket
19:15and told him to go
19:17and eat this.
19:19When this person
19:21retired,
19:23he retired
19:25as the principal
19:27of King Edward Medical College.
19:29And after his retirement,
19:31when he came back,
19:35he said to me,
19:37Mr. Shah, we have
19:39resolved your complaint.
19:41I have brought the money
19:43on installments.
19:45He bought a carola
19:47on installments
19:49after working hard all his life.
19:51I am joking.
19:53I am joking.
19:55When I fell ill,
19:57a senior doctor
19:59came to Lahore.
20:01Professor Hafeez.
20:03He is very famous.
20:05I do not get time from him.
20:07He came to my house
20:09and said, let me introduce you
20:11to Professor Hafeez.
20:13Professor Hafeez
20:15is a lawyer.
20:17He is a senior.
20:19Despite this, he has a sense of humor.
20:23He talks with a very pleasant mood.
20:25He said to me,
20:27lie down, I will check you.
20:29So, I
20:31took off my shoes and
20:33lied down on the inspection table.
20:35When he
20:37checked me,
20:39he got up and
20:41I was looking for my shoes.
20:43Professor said,
20:45what are you looking for?
20:47He said, my shoes were here.
20:49He said, when you were lying on the table,
20:51the doctor wore them and left.
20:53All his life,
20:55he lived
20:57such a simple life.
20:59He is a very senior professor.
21:01He is the principal
21:03of King Edward Medical College.
21:05He is a very senior person.
21:07But I have seen that person.
21:09Never in my life,
21:11I have seen him in a bad condition.
21:13No one will ever
21:15complain about him.
21:17No one will complain.
21:19This is what is happening.
21:21Which one
21:23would you like to talk about?
21:25What is the role of Sufism
21:27in our professional life?
21:29And secondly,
21:31while living our professional life,
21:33how can we please God
21:35and His people?
21:37Sufism is one of the few things
21:39in the world
21:41that is most misunderstood.
21:49Some of us
21:53considered it to be a special way of life.
21:55Some of us
21:57considered it to be
21:59a certain
22:01set of belief.
22:05Some of us
22:07considered it to be
22:09the opposite of Shariah.
22:11Some of us
22:13considered it to be
22:15the opposite of Shariah.
22:17I personally
22:19think that
22:21this is wrong.
22:23Sufism is not
22:25a separate thing.
22:29How can we
22:31call it Sufism?
22:35In Sufism,
22:37there are three things.
22:39There is a Fakir,
22:41a Sufi
22:43and a Peer.
22:47When a person
22:49follows the path of God,
22:53follows Shariah,
22:55follows his daily
22:57routine,
22:59and
23:01along with that,
23:03he performs
23:05voluntary worship.
23:09This is the time
23:11of his hard work.
23:13At this stage,
23:15he is called a Fakir.
23:17When he
23:19becomes
23:21accustomed to
23:23performing voluntary worship
23:25and
23:27living his life
23:29according to the Sunnah,
23:35then
23:37his guide
23:39removes the burden
23:41of voluntary worship.
23:43At this stage,
23:45he is called a Sufi.
23:47Sufism is the
23:49path of a Peer.
23:51But a Peer is not
23:53the one you and I
23:55understand.
23:57A Peer is
23:59the one who
24:01possesses wisdom
24:03and understanding.
24:05When a person
24:07acquires knowledge,
24:09the necessary result
24:11of that knowledge
24:13is understanding
24:15and this understanding
24:17is what God
24:19is afraid of.
24:23Sufism is the
24:25path of a Sufi.
24:29We
24:31observe
24:33the type of practice
24:35of the Fakirs
24:37that we see here.
24:41Sufism began
24:43when
24:45during the reign
24:47of Hazrat Umar
24:49the Islamic
24:51Kingdom expanded
24:53rapidly to
24:55220 square miles.
24:59Our borders
25:01have become
25:03very wide.
25:05In those borders
25:07came those areas
25:09belonging to the Arabs,
25:11such as Egypt,
25:13Iraq,
25:15and Syria.
25:19Although their language
25:21was Arabic,
25:23their cultural values
25:25and lifestyle were
25:27very different.
25:31After the expansion,
25:33when the Muslims
25:35were given a lot of
25:37wealth,
25:39we saw
25:41some moral
25:43distortions.
25:45This was the time
25:47when people
25:49started to
25:51follow the
25:53Khankahi system.
25:55There was a drama
25:57by Ashok Ahmed
25:59called Zabia.
26:01In fact,
26:03Khankahi system
26:05is another name
26:07for Zabia.
26:09In Zabia, people were
26:11brought up
26:13according to the
26:15moral values of
26:17the Karun-e-Aula.
26:19The right lifestyle
26:21was the same as
26:23the Prophet's.
26:27This is the right
26:29lifestyle of the Muslims.
26:31Sufism is the same
26:33as the Sunnah
26:35of the Prophet.
26:37Therefore,
26:39do not consider
26:41Sufism to be
26:43a separate lifestyle.
26:45It is not
26:47parallel to the Shariah.
26:51There is a great name
26:53in the Auliya-e-Karam.
26:55It is a name
26:57about which
26:59Hazrat Junaid Baghdadi
27:01said that
27:03the status of the Auliya-e-Karam
27:05is the same as
27:07that of the Nagina.
27:09His statement
27:11is that
27:13the one who abandons
27:15even one Sunnah,
27:17will not be able to smell
27:19the fragrance of Sufism.
27:21So,
27:23what is Sufism?
27:25Through Sufism,
27:27which you talked about
27:29in your daily life,
27:31what will you achieve
27:33through Sufism?
27:35When we follow the Sunnah,
27:37our every action
27:39follows the Sunnah,
27:41then we become
27:43a very likeable person.
27:45We become
27:47a very dutiful person.
27:49We become a person
27:51who sacrifices for others.
27:53So, a person who is
27:55so dutiful,
27:57who does his duties
27:59according to the Sunnah,
28:01who sacrifices for others,
28:03who is kind to others,
28:05who is compassionate,
28:07will he not be
28:09a successful person in life?
28:11That is why,
28:13a Waliullah,
28:15if he is doing a job,
28:17he is a very successful servant.
28:21He is a very popular officer.
28:23And,
28:25according to the Sunnah,
28:27he is the
28:29blue-eyed boy of his bosses.
28:33That is his lifestyle,
28:35which takes him there.
28:37Which one would you like to talk about?
28:39Assalamualaikum.
28:41Walaikumassalam.
28:43My name is Wasad Abbas.
28:45I would like to ask you,
28:47you just said that
28:49following the Sunnah opens the heart.
28:51We see that there are many people here
28:53who offer their prayers,
28:55and perform all the Sunnah.
28:57So, we have seen many people
28:59who do not have a pure heart.
29:01Secondly, you said that
29:03the Fakir,
29:05and the Sufi.
29:07So, nowadays,
29:09it takes us a long time
29:11to find the Sufi.
29:13Even if he is available,
29:15we do not have access to him.
29:17And thirdly,
29:19unfortunately,
29:21we do not find the Fakir.
29:23JazakAllah.
29:25If we study Islam,
29:29we can see
29:31two parts of it.
29:37One,
29:39if I talk about it
29:41daily,
29:43we call it
29:45the rights of Allah,
29:47and the other is the rights of the people.
29:49But,
29:51to make it easier to understand,
29:53I would like to say that
29:55one part is of worship,
29:57and the other is of
29:59matters.
30:01Worship is
30:03obligatory upon us,
30:05and the reason for it
30:07being obligatory
30:09is not that,
30:11God forbid,
30:13God needs our worship.
30:15He is very concerned about us.
30:17In reality,
30:19we are thanking Him
30:21that He is our Lord
30:23and we are His servants.
30:25So, our
30:27troubled state,
30:29our
30:31miserable state,
30:35our being lost,
30:37has nothing to do with
30:39worship.
30:41If we
30:43think that we will not be
30:45troubled,
30:47then we are mistaken.
30:51If we think
30:53and worship
30:57that we will be called
30:59pious,
31:01then we are not.
31:03It is the right of God
31:05that we worship.
31:07Matters will
31:09remain where matters are mentioned.
31:11The right of God
31:13is a very small part
31:15of the religion.
31:17The rest,
31:19a very large part,
31:21is the right of God,
31:23or I call it matters.
31:27How true are we in matters?
31:31You know that,
31:33and so do I.
31:37When we correct
31:39our matters with people,
31:45then you will see
31:47the results.
31:51We have to fulfill
31:53the rights of worship.
31:55It is the right of God.
31:57But if we pay attention
31:59to matters,
32:01we will come to know
32:03that our life is stable again.
32:05And then,
32:07we feel that
32:09we have come closer to God.
