00:00Today we have a special program for the Kaifakeer community and I welcome you to this gathering.
00:27The person we have invited today is not in need of any introduction.
00:33He is Mr. Kibla Syed Faraz Ahmed Shah, who is one of those people who are a source of mercy for all of us.
00:41Mr. Shah, if you don't mind, I would like to ask a few questions.
00:46When a person goes to a Murshid, he is usually caught in the love of the Murshid.
00:52Is it the Murshid's job to take him towards the love of Allah with his own love,
01:00and to reveal the true concept of love in his heart?
01:07When a person is in love with a person, he follows the letter in spirit.
01:21He will follow the order with fear, but he will not have a soul in this action.
01:29He will not have a passion.
01:31He only fulfills a duty.
01:33But when a person is in love with someone, no matter how much pain he is in, he fulfills it with happiness.
01:47Until we are in love with the Murshid, we will not be able to follow the letter in spirit of the Murshid.
01:57This is very important.
01:59Because the Murshid will teach us about sacrifice.
02:05You can talk to the Murshid and say that this person has troubled me a lot,
02:10I would like to do something against him.
02:12I have the strength to do it.
02:15The Murshid will never ask you to take action against him.
02:19He will ask you to forgive him.
02:21Because this is the Sunnah of Allah to forgive.
02:25He teaches us about sacrifice.
02:28You cannot follow his words until you are in love with the Murshid.
02:35When we love the Murshid and follow his words to the letter in spirit,
02:43we believe in the Murshid.
02:45We do not exclude the Kaaf from our dictionary.
02:55We cannot follow the words of the Murshid.
02:58When we close our eyes and follow the words of the Murshid,
03:03the Murshid will take us to the house of Hazrat Ali.
03:10From the house of Hazrat Ali, we reach the house of the Prophet.
03:18From there, we reach the Lord.
03:22But these stages will be decided when we are in love with the Murshid.
03:30When we are in love with the Prophet.
03:33And when we are in love with the Lord.
03:36Only then can we reach these stages.
03:40Otherwise, a person stumbles along the way.
03:44If we go to meet our friend from a distance,
03:48we do not visit our friend empty-handed.
03:52What gift should we present to the Lord,
03:56who we consider to be our friend,
03:59so that he becomes happy?
04:02We have heard this since childhood,
04:06that the greatest gift from Allah is humility.
04:12Because humility is not there.
04:15So, if we wear the garb of humility,
04:20and present ourselves before Allah,
04:23then this is a great gift from Allah.
04:26Then, Allah loves the Prophet.
04:31Just like how a mother loves her children,
04:39if we love the Prophet's children,
04:42we fall in love with the Prophet's mother.
04:45So, loving the Prophet will make the Lord happy.
04:50So, loving the Prophet is a great gift from Allah.
04:58He embraces us.
05:03In the beginning of the talk, you said that
05:07a person should seek solitude from himself.
05:14But usually, we are in the midst of people.
05:18Is there a way for us to be in the midst of people,
05:23to be silent, and to immerse ourselves in contemplation?
05:28In worship, humility is very important.
05:37The true reward for worship is when a person
05:43calls upon the Lord with complete humility.
05:48So, when we are busy calling upon the Lord
05:54with complete humility,
05:58even though our eyes and ears are open,
06:02they are actually closed.
06:05You may have read somewhere that
06:10some faqirs practice
06:16that they sit in the midst of people
06:21and do a test of concentration on purpose.
06:27So, they do tasbeeh.
06:29People are busy doing tasbeeh.
06:32They are not disturbed.
06:35Then the next stage is that
06:39they do tasbeeh while drunk.
06:44And the last stage is that
06:46they call upon people to play dhol around them.
06:50They are doing a test of their concentration.
06:56In a full gathering,
06:58it is the pinnacle of concentration
07:01to attain solitude in a gathering.
07:04And a person attains that
07:07if he completely turns towards the Lord.
07:13It is said that there are days
07:15when the prayer is kept regular.
07:18Then the soul gets entangled in the world.
07:21It is said that in such a case,
07:23the guidance of a saint is required.
07:26So, please guide us in this regard.
07:29Go to a saint and he will tell you
07:32not to worry about it,
07:35keep on praying.
07:37Keep on calling upon Allah.
07:40The reason is that
07:42the fakir whom we went to for guidance,
07:46he knows very well
07:49what human psychology is.
07:51A fakir is an expert in human psychology.
07:54Remember this.
07:56Even though he has not attained the knowledge.
07:59But he is an expert in human psychology.
08:03He knows what happens to a person.
08:08In human life,
08:10there will come a time
08:12when he will completely turn towards worship,
08:15towards the Lord, towards goodness.
08:18Then slowly he will start moving away from it.
08:21There will come a time when he will go very far.
08:24Here, your spiritual guide plays a role
08:27that he does not let you go.
08:30If your heart does not want it,
08:32no problem, you can pray.
08:34If your thoughts are troubling you,
08:36let them come, don't worry about it.
08:38So, pray.
08:39The result is that when a person passes through this stage,
08:42he again turns towards worship.
08:44So, this time keeps coming upon a person.
08:48Just like good and bad days come upon every person,
08:52this time also keeps coming upon him
08:55regarding worship.
08:57His alertness becomes such
08:59that sometimes he will be very alert,
09:02sometimes he will be moderate,
09:04and sometimes he will go very far.
09:07Worship should continue in all circumstances.
09:12But remember one thing,
09:14that we should not perform worship
09:17as if it is our duty.
09:22Worship should be performed
09:25with full passion and enthusiasm
09:28that this is a way of thanking my Lord.
09:34This is a way of saluting the greatness of my Lord.
09:38I am fulfilling the right of my Lord
09:43that I am worshipping Him.
09:45So, when a person performs worship
09:47as if it is his duty,
09:49he does it in a routine.
09:52But if this passion and enthusiasm
09:54remains in worship,
09:56then he will go closer to God.
10:20In the beginning,
10:22the Companions had the honor of reciting the Holy Quran,
10:27which we all listened to.
10:30In fact, we had the honor of listening to it.
10:35In that,
10:37God has advised us
10:39not to be disappointed by His mercy.
10:47Disappointment is Kufr.
10:50We should expect from Allah
10:56that He will make our situation better.
11:03I think that in the next few months,
11:06we will start to breathe.
11:09After two and a half years,
11:12our country, which I often mention,
11:15will move towards progress
11:17and will rise like a rocket.
11:21So, there is no reason for disappointment.
11:29God willing, our situation will improve.
11:32God will make it better.
11:37You said in one of your lectures
11:39that you advised men to increase their waist.
11:43So, women should not be left behind.
11:46Please advise women to increase their waist.
11:53The problem is that you keep narrating stories to Shah Sahib all night.
11:57In the morning, he will go on the same topic
11:59whether it was a woman's waist or a man's.
12:04Then the question arises
12:06whether worldly things are available or not.
12:08Tell us.
12:14The method of increasing men's waist
12:19is valid for women as well.
12:24It is applicable for them as well.
12:28This morning, it was mentioned in a gathering
12:32that Allah has said in Surah Fajr
12:36that women should not scold orphans.
12:41This is what Allah has said.
12:46The person who asked this question
12:48recited the verses of Surah Fajr
12:51and in the end, he asked
12:53what is the importance of feeding them.
12:56So, he has a complete background
12:59that these verses are mentioned in Surah Fajr.
13:06What was the reason for these verses to be revealed?
13:10In what circumstances were these verses revealed?
13:13Why is there such an excellence in feeding them?
13:18I don't want to bore you.
13:21It will be a very pleasant topic.
13:24But let me tell you
13:28that the importance of feeding them
13:33I had an idea that every Fakir
13:37gives a lot of importance to feeding them.
13:40If a person comes to his house,
13:42he should eat before going.
13:44I am not a Fakir.
13:47This is for your information.
13:51He feeds them.
13:54The experience is that
13:57with Allah,
14:00in fact, give Allah a loan.
14:05When we feed the people
14:08especially those who know
14:10that they are your opponents,
14:12with a lot of love and respect,
14:15we feed them.
14:18So, this is Allah's loan.
14:20He increases it ten times and returns it.
14:24And it returns very quickly.
14:27Because women are at home,
14:31it is very easy to treat them.
14:33The food we cook at night,
14:36from that food,
14:38first of all, in the name of Allah,
14:40take out two people's food
14:43and put it in such a place.
14:46But we should remember that
14:48our dear ones and our servants,
14:51they have a right on us.
14:52Don't give them in the name of Allah.
14:54Give them their right.
14:56We should send them to someone regularly.
14:59And even better than this is that
15:04Once upon a time,
15:06Sister Banu Qusiyah was visiting.
15:09She used to express her nearness to me.
15:13She used to call me Shahji.
15:19The way you see us today,
15:21we have not always been like this.
15:24I have also seen a time of great poverty.
15:26There was a time when
15:29Mr. Ashfaq and I used to sit together
15:34and if we wanted to buy a table fan,
15:38we did not measure its price in rupees.
15:41Rather, we used to say that
15:43its price is such a script
15:45that if we write such a script of dramas,
15:47we will get a table fan.
15:51Mr. Ashfaq always wanted to go to Baba.
15:55His teacher was Fazal Hussain Shah Sahib,
15:58who was known as Noorwale.
16:01I also had a chance to meet him once.
16:07So we went there.
16:09Baba Noorwale addressed me and said,
16:13Dear daughter,
16:15wash the food that you take home.
16:20I was worried about this.
16:23When I came home, I realized
16:25that if we wash the food,
16:27what will be left with us?
16:29Everything will be washed away.
16:31So the next day,
16:33I went to Baba Noorwale and said,
16:37You said that we should wash the food.
16:40How will we wash it?
16:41It will all go to waste.
16:43I said, Dear daughter, it is very easy.
16:45The amount of food you take home every month,
16:49make a pack of that amount
16:53and drop it to someone on the way.
16:57He said,
16:59We have chosen that table fan,
17:01and today you can see
17:03what Allah has painted on it.
17:05So for women,
17:07it is a very easy method.
17:09Don't do anything.
17:11Wash your food very quietly.
17:14Allah will provide sustenance,
17:17Inshallah.
17:19You once said in a lecture
17:23that Bade Shah used to read
17:25the first verse of Surah Al-Akhlaas
17:27before the Friday prayer.
17:29When will this be read?
17:33It is not like that.
17:35I am not saying that I did not say it.
17:38It is because of my old age
17:40that I don't remember what I said.
17:42I want to say that
17:44something comes out of the tongue.
17:46It is not anyone's fault.
17:48It is my own fault.
17:50But it was not about Surah Al-Akhlaas.
17:52It was about his own memories.
17:54I never had the courage
17:56to ask him,
17:58Huzoor, what do you read?
18:00I used to be with him.
18:02He never told me to read this.
18:04So I did it my way.
18:06We used to go to the mosque
18:08at 12 o'clock.
18:10At 1 o'clock,
18:12the congregation used to stand.
18:14We used to sit in our places
18:16for an hour.
18:18We used to talk.
18:20It is true that
18:22going to the mosque
18:24at 12 o'clock on Friday
18:26is very blessed.
18:28You go there
18:30and pray to Allah
18:32and sit.
18:34But he used to say
18:36one thing very strongly.
18:38He was related to Ambala.
18:40He was Urdu speaking.
18:42In that accent,
18:44he used to say,
18:46Mian, duty comes
18:48first.
18:50We should not
18:52turn away from our duty
18:54when it comes to
18:56worship.
18:58This was the advice of
19:00the Murshid.
19:02It was very strong.
19:04Duty comes first.
19:06I am an employee.
19:08I am getting a salary.
19:10My time has been bought
19:12by my employer.
19:14I will take out
19:16time for the
19:18obligatory worship
19:20with the permission
19:22that I will not be
19:24available for
19:26so long.
19:28But I will compensate
19:30for it after
19:32working hours.
19:34A person fulfills his duty.
19:36He should fulfill his duty
19:38because
19:40if a person takes
19:42his salary home,
19:44it will be halal.
19:58But when we
20:00try to
20:02do something
20:04on such a scale,
20:06our means
20:08will not allow us.
20:10Even if
20:12I smile
20:14and speak to someone,
20:16Allah
20:18will accept it.
20:22Even if I
20:24remove a thorn from
20:26someone's path,
20:28Allah will accept it.
20:30We can start
20:32from a humble
20:34level.
20:36Gradually,
20:38Allah will enable us.
20:40And that level will increase.
20:42Allah creates
20:44His own means.
20:48Demotivation
20:50happens when our thoughts
20:52are big and our means
20:54do not support us.
20:56We get demotivated.
20:58But if we understand
21:00that Allah is giving us
21:02permission to go ahead
21:04and serve Him,
21:06then a person
21:08does not get demotivated.
21:10Rather,
21:12he is motivated.
21:14He is so inspired by the results
21:16that he increases
21:18his level day by day.
21:20There are some people who
21:22have nothing but failure in life.
21:24In such a situation,
21:26they say that a person is
21:28not able to save himself.
21:30How can we bring back
21:32the vehicle of life?
21:36A long time ago,
21:38I think
21:40it was in the olden days,
21:42when I was studying
21:44in Matric or
21:46in the first or second year.
21:50There was a news in the newspaper
21:52that a student
21:54committed suicide.
21:56He had completed his master's
21:58but he committed suicide
22:00because he did not get a job.
22:02The next day,
22:04I read a letter
22:06from a professor
22:08to the editor.
22:12He wrote that
22:14he wished that the student
22:16would have met him
22:18before committing suicide.
22:20He would not have committed suicide.
22:22The real reason
22:24for his suicide
22:26was that
22:28it is a strange thing
22:30in our society
22:32that a person
22:34who is educated
22:36and has a bachelor's
22:38or master's degree
22:40wishes to
22:42get a white collar job.
22:46He would like to be
22:48a rickshaw driver
22:50but he would not be able
22:52to drive a rickshaw.
22:56He wrote a beautiful thing
22:58which was approved.
23:00He wrote that
23:02if a person with a master's
23:04degree
23:06sits on the side of the road
23:08with a box
23:10and polishes
23:12people's shoes,
23:14he will be able to
23:16make such an impression
23:18that the box will turn
23:20into a rickshaw
23:22and the rickshaw will
23:24turn into a shop
23:26where many assistants
23:28will be hired.
23:30The work will increase rapidly.
23:32Some time ago,
23:34I came across
23:36something.
23:38I did not go there myself.
23:40Some MBA students
23:42who have done MBA
23:44from LUMS
23:46started selling tea.
23:48At one point,
23:50the whole city
23:52came to know
23:54that tea is sold there
23:56and it is very tasty.
23:58They created a trend
24:00to sell cinnamon tea
24:02and ginger tea.
24:04Their business
24:06increased.
24:08The next day,
24:10I was passing by Gulbagh
24:12and I saw a board
24:14in front of me.
24:16I asked my wife
24:18that this is a very
24:20famous tea shop.
24:22She told me that
24:24these are the same people
24:26who were in the defence.
24:28Now they have come
24:30to Liberty.
24:32Similarly,
24:34I heard from another
24:36MBA student
24:38that they have
24:40created a place
24:42in which they
24:44have introduced
24:46something new.
24:48They told me
24:50to call them
24:52and tell them
24:54that I will come
24:56with 4 guests
24:58and this will be the menu
25:00that I want.
25:02If you take 5th guest,
25:04they do not allow you
25:06to come.
25:08They say that
25:10they sell one kebab
25:12for Rs. 5000.
25:14They have
25:16improved a lot.
25:18This is a new way of
25:20teaching.
25:22This
25:24self-sacrifice
25:26that we talk about,
25:28it only happens
25:30when a person
25:32goes to a place
25:34where there is no one
25:36to motivate him.
25:38If you find someone
25:40who can show you
25:42practical examples,
25:44then you should
25:46also do the same.
25:48If
25:50a person is
25:52imaginative
25:54and has an idea,
25:56then he can
25:58do it.
26:00You will never be
26:02disappointed.
26:04People also
26:06raise questions
26:08about self-sacrifice.
26:10Many people are
26:12suffering from it.
26:14What can we do
26:16to end
26:18the self-sacrifice
26:20in the current generation?
26:22What do you mean
26:24by self-sacrifice?
26:26One of the
26:28fundamental reasons
26:30for self-sacrifice
26:32is that
26:34we converted from Hindus
26:36to Muslims.
26:38Despite being Muslims,
26:40we continued to live
26:42with Hindus.
26:44As a result,
26:46our religious beliefs
26:48changed,
26:50but our cultural values
26:52remained Hindu.
26:54If we look at our wedding
26:56rituals,
26:58funeral rituals,
27:00and other rituals,
27:02we get a Hindu touch.
27:04It has a deep impact.
27:06People
27:08have a lot of
27:10superstitions.
27:12For example,
27:14if a black cat
27:16crosses the road,
27:18the crow will
27:20come and
27:22say,
27:24today a guest
27:26will come,
27:28and today
27:30a problem will arise.
27:32It will be good for me
27:34if this person
27:36crosses the road.
27:38Hindu mythology
27:40and
27:42Hindu
27:44beliefs
27:46have a lot of influence
27:48on us.
27:50If you
27:52mean
27:54self-sacrifice,
27:56then this is the reason.
27:58We have a strange
28:00superstition
28:02that instead
28:04of turning to God,
28:06if I
28:08have to close the button
28:10of my shirt,
28:12I will ask the priest
28:14to give me a job.
28:20If the wife
28:22hits me with a stick,
28:24instead of apologizing to her,
28:26I will ask the priest
28:28to give me a job
28:30so that the wife doesn't hit me.
28:32What we have learned
28:34is that instead of
28:36turning to God,
28:38we
28:40turn to people
28:42who are famous for
28:44their
28:46talismans,
28:48their rituals,
28:50their prayers.
28:52We run after them.
28:54If we
28:56make even a small effort
28:58to run after God,
29:00then our problems
29:02will be solved.
29:04Secondly,
29:08I have reached this age
29:10but I am still not ready
29:12to accept that
29:14my heart wants me to be
29:16the same as I was at the age of 25.
29:18I don't accept that.
29:20I am not ready to accept
29:22that I am a human being
29:24and God has said in the Quran
29:26that we spend our days
29:28among people.
29:30I will have good and bad days.
29:32I have spent my good days
29:34with happiness.
29:36I will spend my bad days
29:38with the grace of God.
29:40A good time will come.
29:42My relationship with God
29:44is becoming
29:46commercial day by day.
29:48This should not happen.
29:50My relationship
29:52with God is
29:54that of a servant
29:56and a master.
29:58A servant's
30:00responsibility
30:02is on his master.
30:04Whenever a servant
30:06needs anything,
30:08he will turn to his master
30:10to fulfill his needs.
30:12He is the master of all masters.
30:14As a servant
30:16of God,
30:18why don't I turn
30:20to my master
30:22to fulfill my needs.
30:24This is the weakness
30:26of our faith.
30:28This is the reason
30:30behind
30:32our atheism.
30:34We have faith in God.
30:36We all believe in God
30:38but we don't trust Him.
30:40This is the problem.
30:42When
30:44we start trusting
30:46God,
30:48we
30:50don't go anywhere.
30:52We turn to God again and again.
30:54How can science
30:56be associated with Islam?
30:58It has been seen that
31:00the scientists who
31:02discovered it were mostly atheists.
31:04Especially in today's world.
31:06How can we prove
31:08the authenticity of Islam
31:10in front of them?
31:12If I give
31:14such a sweeping statement
31:16that all the scientists
31:18are atheists,
31:20that would be
31:22unjust.
31:26The services
31:28that Muslims do in science
31:30are selfish.
31:36They are hypocritical.
31:38The only
31:40thing
31:42that has served
31:44humanity so far
31:46is the invention
31:48of anaesthesia.
31:50They were all Muslims.
31:52Muslims have created
31:54a name in astronomy.
31:58The British,
32:00whom we follow today,
32:02regularly
32:04broadcast a program
32:06on BBC
32:08The whole week
32:10was about
32:14what our elders
32:16did for us.
32:18But once a week,
32:20they would broadcast
32:22what Muslims did for us.
32:24In that program,
32:26they would admit
32:28that their research
32:30was based on
32:32the books
32:34that they had
32:36collected.
32:38Even though
32:40a large number of books
32:42were burnt.
32:44But what they had
32:46collected
32:48was based on
32:50their theories.
32:52They were all Muslims.
32:54Similarly, the Christian
32:56inventors and scientists
32:58certainly
33:00became atheists
33:02in the beginning.
33:04But before his death,
33:06he also became religious.
33:08I am saying religion,
33:10not Islam.
33:12He also became religious.
33:14Thank you very much,
33:16Mr. Shah.
33:18There are many more questions,
33:20but our time is limited.
33:22We will end
33:24this program here.
33:26I would like to tell you
33:28that Mr. Shah's books
33:30are available
33:32and you can read them.
33:34It is also written here.
33:36You can see it.
33:38www.kahafakir.org

33:42There are 10 books.
33:44Do read them.
33:46Our program
33:48continues.
33:50It is a weekly program.
33:52Keep sending your questions
33:54to us.
33:56God willing, we will include them.
33:58Thank you for now.
34:00May God bless you.
