00:00Was Penn State's backup, and not just a backup who might see the field if somebody got injured,
00:04but a guy who is heavily, heavily a part of the offensive scheme of Andy Kotelnicki,
00:08Bo Pribula, who entered the transfer portal before Penn State's opening game against SMU
00:14and has now found his new home. He is headed to Missouri, the quarterback of the future for the
00:20Tigers, looking to build off a season where they stayed in the top 25 virtually all year long
00:26in Columbia. Yeah, I think it's a really interesting fit. I think Pribula is kind of
00:31now one of the unknown variables of next college football season. Certainly he's had some pedigree
00:37going to Penn State. We know the athleticism that he brings to the position, and now he's
00:41going to be at, you know, a power school that you mentioned, ranked in the top 25 all season.
00:46I think the question to me is, and as I saw this mentioned, I don't remember where, but was,
00:52okay, can he now just go back to Penn State? Like, in all seriousness, like, why is it that he's got
00:57a school, he's got his money, I can't imagine Missouri would tell him no. Maybe they would.
01:02Like, why does Bo Pribula now not have the opportunity to rejoin Penn State now that this
01:08is all sorted out? I mean, I don't know, maybe I guess I haven't been in college that recently.
01:13There aren't classes until the playoff is over. Am I wrong about that? But I think when you,
01:17again, I don't know, but academic calendar, once you enroll as a student, I believe your eligibility
01:23then changes over to that school. That would be my presumption. Now, kids that were in the transfer
01:29portal for Kenny Dillingham with Arizona State have practiced. Have practiced, right. They might
01:35have made their intention known, but they have not necessarily declared for a new school.
01:40A little bit different, I would say, for a quarterback. I'm just saying, so that's the gray area of the transfer
01:45portal where they're in, but they're still part of the team, they still want to practice, they still
01:49want to get those reps. It's a crazy situation in regards to the transfer portal. And Bo Pribula is
01:55an interesting quarterback prospect. Not necessarily your prototypical pocket passer who's just going
02:00to sling it. Obviously did not get the opportunity he expected as the heir apparent to Drew Aller
02:05in State College. Of course, Aller backed in 2025. Very athletic though at the quarterback position.
02:12Elsewhere in the Big Ten, Curt Signetti. Production over promise in Fernando Mendoza.
02:20Cowell's quarterback, after two successful years in Berkeley, is now going to be the signal caller
02:26for IU. Indiana winning this race by reports over Georgia and Miami in the transfer portal.
02:33A good Christmas week for Indiana. They get your guy, Elysee. Hemby! Hemby! Roman Hemby, the proven
02:41running back for Maryland. Fernando Mendoza, the quarterback of the future in Bloomington,
02:46and one of the best defensive linemen in the sport, certainly in the Big Ten. Third team
02:51All-American, Kamara, back for Indiana next year as well. IU reloading in the roster way that it
03:00is constructed by Signetti for what might be another successful season. It's a good fit for
03:05Mendoza, and it's a great fit for Curt Signetti. Look what he did in regards to Curtis Rourke
03:11elevating his game. You know, Curtis Rourke, one of the best productive passers in the Big Ten.
03:16Mendoza, big body, strong arm, mobile. He's not going to run it like Cam Ward or some of the
03:22other mobile quarterbacks, but he does have great pocket presence, could always break,
03:26contain, and has stepped up in terms of step-up spots. Played toe-to-toe with Miami, had them dead
03:32to rights 35-10, and they lost that matchup and went toe-to-toe with Florida State earlier in the
03:38year, became bowl eligible. So it's a really nice fit for Indiana. I never saw Mendoza going to the
03:43likes of maybe Miami or Georgia. I think that might have been a reach. They might have put out feelers,
03:49but I think it's a good fit in terms of Indiana. I don't think Mendoza is an elite quarterback.
03:54I think he's a solid quarterback, and it's a good fit with the Indiana Hoosiers.
