00:03Plans have been unveiled for new homes on the site of a disused care home near Chesterfield.
00:08The 21 properties are proposed for the Spinney at Woodlands in Brimmington
00:12and hinge on Chesterfield Borough Council giving planning consent.
00:16Nick Thompson of the Spinney Brimmington Limited wants to develop the site
00:19with a mixture of two and three storey detached and semi-detached houses
00:23with three bedrooms each.
00:25There will be two parking spaces per house.
00:28A design and access statement supporting the planning application said
00:32the proposal will remove a deteriorating and vacant building land use
00:36and will enhance the appearance of the locality through the creation of new homes
00:40as well as removing the potential for vandalism and crime.
00:45Police have issued an appeal to the public for help identifying two men
00:49after the theft of car parts in Derbyshire.
00:52Police have released CCTV images in an effort to trace two men
00:56The number of car parts were taken in Heaner.
00:58Two men walked into the garden of the property in High Street, Heaner
01:01and stole car parts including car springs and radiators on Monday 16th December.
01:07Officers investigating the incident have now released images of two men
01:10they would like to speak to in relation to the incident.
