00:00There's two things always happen to Texans. One, if they get in the playoffs, they play on Saturday,
00:04and if they win that game, they play the next week and get demolished. And that's Texans
00:10football. They have not advanced past this round. They will not advance past this round. In fact,
00:18the game probably is already over. We just don't know it yet.
00:21Some bulletin board material there for the Texans.
00:24Joe Mixon's going to be smoking on that Frank the Tank back after the game.
00:30Rundown Monday, January 13th. We got Max. We got Frank the Tank. I'm Stephen Che.
00:40We are presented by Reese's. Reese's Peanut Butter Cups are the perfect combo of chocolate
00:45and peanut butter. Reese's Peanut Butter Cups may be even more perfect with a layer of ooey
00:51gooey delicious chocolate lava. You can buy Reese's Cups basically everywhere.
00:57Reese's Peanut Butter Cups are also featured in the big game. It's lava time, baby. Try out
01:02Reese's new delicious chocolate lava big cup. Check those out. Reese's, an absolute dream
01:09sponsor. Love Reese's. Who doesn't love Reese's? Chocolate and peanut butter are the absolute
01:14perfect combination. You know what I like? My favorite Reese's are those tiny ones. So it's
01:20like one bite to one bite cluster ones. Oh, the individual wrapped ones, right?
01:27Yeah. Individual wrapped ones, you know, especially when you're trying to lose weight
01:32and trying to avoid the chocolate as much as I am. Grabbing one of those will satisfy your craving.
01:39A little treat. Yeah, I like that. Obviously, we're off a big football weekend. NFL games
01:47weren't great. Max, we'll start with you. Eagles moving on in a fairly easy game with
01:57a little nerves in the second half. But Eagles 22, Packers 10. How are we feeling about their
02:06first round performance at home against the Packers? It was good. It's about as you want
02:11a first round game to go. The defense looked phenomenal. The offense still had some kinks
02:17to work out. No one really played last week. Hertz hasn't played for a couple weeks,
02:22so hopefully they're just getting back into the swing of things and now that they'll be ready
02:25to go for next week. As far as the offense goes, the defense made big plays. Darius Slay made that
02:31huge interception, I think, in the second quarter there. They had four turnovers. Obviously,
02:36the fumble off the kickoff was massive. Tone setter, and they really controlled the game,
02:41but you would like to see the offense get a little bit more dialed in going into the rest
02:47of the playoffs because you're not going to beat teams like the Lions like that. I mean,
02:50your star receiver was trying to get dialed in. A.J. Brown reading a book on the sidelines. Frank,
02:54what are your thoughts on that? I don't even know. Is it a book that he just couldn't put down? I
03:01mean, what's going on here? Is he reading War and Peace or something? Is he in a book club?
03:06I mean, he should just wait for the movie to come out and then he could go out to den.
03:14You know what he should do? I do audible. When I do my walks, I'm listening to audibles. I'm
03:19listening right now to a biography about Don Shula. So, you know, he should get an audible
03:27and put the earbuds in and just be able to play it. He could actually still listen to it without
03:32even look like he's listening to it. I mean, Max, this is a crazy move. Like I get it is the
03:38Eagles. A.J. Brown's your guy. But if this was any other team, you would rush more. This is
03:46D.J. more on the Bears. You guys be ill and big cat about him reading a book on the silence.
03:51You get more locked in. It's motivational quotes, is it? Yeah. Motivational quotes.
03:56It's not like he's reading a novel. It's not like he's got a page turner that he just can't put
04:00down. He does it. He says he does it every game, which there's I've had to call for because there's
04:08no way that it would it would take that long for someone to finally see it. Yeah. But I mean,
04:15affirmations or something. Baseball players have little superstitions like that's a big thing.
04:20If if he didn't have a good game, but if he had a good game and you saw him doing that,
04:25it wouldn't have the same discourse that was going on right now. But let the guy do what
04:30he needs to do to lock in and be prepared for the next drive. If that's reading some
04:34motivational quotes and getting yourself ready, then so be it. George was reading
04:39letters from his dad before before he came in private. I'm sure sometimes he brings it out.
04:45And, you know, he reminds himself that he's getting it's reading. You're getting yourself
04:51ready. It was very LeBron type showy, like, hey, I'm reading a book. Look at me. Self-help book.
04:57Also, like, I mean, you're in the NFL playoffs where things could change. I know on a bad snap
05:07and you're on the sidelines, not even paying attention to the game. I get it. He's not on
05:11the field. They're on defense, but pay attention, like locking, like you're reading. Does he hate
05:19does he hate it there so much? I know Jalen Hurts hasn't been great this season as far as,
05:25you know, throwing the football. Do you think there's a possibility he just like hates it there
05:30so much and just trying to get through the day? No, I think that he probably was frustrated with
05:38how that game was going and he needed to lock himself in mentally. And that's a way and that's
05:42a way for him to do it without without making a scene. And I guess it has made a scene,
05:47but it's an internal thing to get himself where he needs to be.
05:51And I'm with him doing it as long as we're winning games.
05:54Two. Well, that's it. Two follow game. Does he bring this to future games or is it done?
05:59No, he has to. He has he has to bring it to future games and he has to do it.
06:07Is it true the book is about how to change careers and ask for a trade?
06:14No, I from from my understanding is not about how to ask for a trade.
06:20I think that would be a pretty niche book. He's he's already read that book, Frank.
06:27But if they lose in a future game, are you going to crush him for reading the book?
06:33To be determined. Yeah, exactly.
06:37OK, that was quite the same. But yeah, Eagles down there for one. Saquon
06:42bigger runs at the end of the game. He was solid. Josh Jacobs was really good. The Packers can do
06:46anything. Or actually, I had a question to NFL guys. We're all streaming this weekend.
06:53I asked this question before the season. Would you rather have Jordan Love or Caleb Williams?
06:58And I got laughed at. And everyone's like Caleb Williams is going to be, you know,
07:02the next big thing, next big thing. The poll end up being, I think it was like 60 40
07:06for Caleb Williams. I am I preseason. I was on Jordan Love postseason. I'm on Jordan Love.
07:12He did have three interceptions. Two of those were in the first half. The one was, you know,
07:17after everybody and their cousin got hurt. But would you guys right now? Contracts aside,
07:24so take the money out of it. Would you rather have Caleb Williams as your quarterback
07:29or Jordan Love? Frank, I'll start with you. I can't really determine it because Matt Eberfrost
07:36was such a bad coach. I mean, the Bears could have the opportunity to hire Mike McCarthy.
07:43You know, he's a he's a good quarterback whisperer. He's done a good job with
07:48Aaron Rodgers and Dak Prescott. I mean, you know, that'd be that'd be quite a hire for
07:54the Bears now that Mike McCarthy's officially been fired by the Cowboys. But I think Caleb
08:00Williams has to say that he's not good is kind of bad, but it's Jordan Love looks good so far.
08:08So I would choose love, but I wouldn't say Caleb Williams is bad. I just I want to see how he does
08:14with a quarterback that's actually competent and not not staring down at turkey dinner as time
08:20ticks off the clock. Max, you're a you're a Philly guy. You're going to choose love.
08:26No, I think that the biggest difference is Frank started to say it is that
08:33is it that Jordan Love is the better quarterback or is Jordan Love was just placed for the Packers
08:38like as just as the player players aspect of it. I would take Caleb Williams over Jordan Love
08:45because I think if you were to switch scenarios and you had Caleb Caleb Williams playing under
08:51Matt LaFleur in the Packers organization and have Jordan Love playing under Matt Eberflus in the
08:56Bears organization. I think Jordan Love would be a disaster for the Bears and then the Packers would
09:02put Caleb Williams in a situation to one day succeed whether that's now or whatever strictly
09:08as of like quarterback play. I would say Caleb Williams, but if I had to make a guess on
09:13a quarterback's future going forward in their current conditions, I think I would say Jordan
09:17Love but just as a player. I think Caleb Williams is probably better. Okay. All right. Let's just
09:24quickly transition tonight. We're going to talk about the rest of the weekend games, but since
09:27they're going to the winner of tonight's game is going to be playing at Philly since we know that
09:33because the commanders won who we got tonight guys Frank. I'll start with you earlier in the
09:39week. I was on the Rams, you know kind of felt that they already beat the Vikings once a season
09:44on that Thursday night game, but what's going on with the game being moved it's
09:50it's dead and the Arizona is probably trying to do their best to make the Rams feel home.
09:55They painted the field in the Rams colors supposedly and I just think
10:02that the distractions of what's going on with the fires and how the family lives are in upheaval
10:09that they have to move this game. It's going to feel like a road game for the Rams.
10:12It's already a road game for the Vikings, but I think the I think the Vikings are going to win
10:17this game. Max we got yeah, I think the Vikings went easy. I think that people are kind of have
10:26recency bias because of how bad that the Vikings looked against the Lions, but the Vikings have
10:31been pretty dominant for most of this year and I think two and a half points is way too low. I
10:37would rather given that we play the winner of this gate this game in the next round. I would
10:43much rather play the Rams. I think that we would have much easier time against them because their
10:48defense is so much worse and they'll be traveling across the country and playing. They'll just be
10:53they'll just be enough of an environment that I wouldn't be as worried, but I think the Vikings
10:58are just a way better team. Yeah, I like Minnesota tonight as well. Shout out to Frank. He's taping
11:03this right now. It's 1127 Central Time. You're hopping on a flight in a couple hours going back
11:09to New York to stream it. So watch the guys in New York stream it tonight. Yes. I'm doing it.
11:13Deion Sanders, so to speak. Yeah. All right. Let's get into the rest of the games this weekend.
11:21We'll go recency bias box box versus commanders was the best game of the weekend. I think by far.
11:27I mean, it's not even close. Not even close. I'll start with you guys. What were your guys
11:33perception of the game? Max, you were rooting for the commanders, correct? No, I was rooting for the
11:39Bucks. Oh, okay. Because I want it. I don't want to play the Vikings. I think the best situation
11:47for the Eagles would be either the Rams or the Bucks. And I could have locked that in by the
11:51Bucks winning last night. I think that the commanders have this voodoo. They have something
11:57at the end of games that things go their way that you that they aren't even really controlling.
12:03That is just like kind of team of destiny vibes. I think that team of destiny will probably run out
12:08run out of juice against the Lions. But there was three plays in that game that were first the
12:15doink and you rarely see a doink and they got that 5050 going their way. 37 yard field makes me sick
12:21that that happened. It's like, you know, 52 yards, like, all right, whatever that, you know,
12:26that'll happen. But 37 yards. I know it should have never been that close, but it was. And he
12:32doinked and he doinked it in whatever never happens. And then in the fourth quarter, there
12:37was just two plays by the Bucks of unforced errors or that just cost them the game that had nothing to
12:43do with the command. The commanders play themselves. It was just unforced errors.
12:47You had your center, your center, stabbing the ball too early and then and then missed timing
12:51on a jet suite. Those are two things that like. Granted, yes, the commanders took advantage of
12:57those situations. Jane Daniels is really good down the stretch. He's a really, really good
13:01quarterback. But how like so many times they're catching these breaks that are just like it.
13:07It's not voodoo. I'm going to tell you right now. Watch out. Jane Daniels is going to be he's going
13:13to be haunting the Eagles for years to come. Oh, yeah. This guy now is I think Jaden Daniels is
13:22he has it. He had he had he has it. He's not just a good quarterback. He is a great clutch
13:30game winning. Take the game by the horns. Steal balls, make the plays are needed quarterback. He
13:40him at the end of games all year has been just the Hail Mary. He just has something in him that
13:48could win games. I know I agree that they're not going to beat the Lions. Lions, the Lions are on
13:53the next level. But in a couple of years, the commanders are going to be on that level.
13:57He is going to be one of the he's going to be one of the five best quarterbacks in the NFL within
14:02a couple of years. He is he is better than any quarterback that's come out in the last few years.
14:07He's better than Caleb Williams. He is just it. He is him. And the commanders now are
14:14on track to be an elite team in a year or two. Which is scary. And yeah, I think the end of the
14:21game, like Voodoo, it's just he's the best player in the field and he is imposing his will. He's he's
14:28a great player. Like last night, there was like 52 seconds left or something like that. And they
14:34had to run a third downplay. It was third. And I think it was like one or third inches.
14:38And they didn't hand the ball to Brian Robson. They went with him and he was dead to rights.
14:43Collegiate can't have been a great play, got in the backfield and it looked like he was about
14:47to have a second. Jane Daniels just stiff armed him and ran to the side and got the yardage that
14:51he needed for the first down. And then they obviously sealed the game with the field goal
14:56at the end. It sucked like losing like that, losing in a way. And I would rather I would
15:02rather lose like that than get, you know, our doors blown off and be nowhere close. I it sucked.
15:09Get doink doink in sucks. The the grand bart in the center hiking it too early with just a
15:15miscount. Daniel obviously is a really good breakdown that today that sucks. The Jets,
15:19we we ran that play literally, you know, 17 games we've played. We've probably run that play in 14
15:25of them. That's that's a solid once again without a Sterling Shepard, Jalen McMillan or even Chris
15:30Godwin before that. Never had an issue with that for us to botch that in that time at that field
15:37position right after getting a fourth down stop is just brutal. I saw some people online killing
15:42Todd Bowles. I I confronted Big Cat in the kitchen this morning. I heard him on PMT saying like Todd
15:48Bowles things. I thought Todd Bowles did a really good job last night and he's going to get correct
15:52and he gets crushed a little bit for time management. And that is I would agree that's
15:57his weakest area. I thought his time management was not bad last night. There was the end of the
16:02first half where people were really worried because he wasn't calling timeout. They had
16:05two timeouts left and he called him a 17 seconds left. It's a little cutting it a little bit close
16:10and ends up working out. I would have preferred like 20 to 22 seconds left there for a timeout.
16:15But that's, you know, obviously Monday morning quarterbacking this thing to a tee.
16:18They kind of got they kind of got themselves in a bad situation there where they only had
16:23two timeouts in the final minute. No, the Buccaneers get a first down. It's trying to
16:29feel good anyway. So what they're doing is hoping that maybe they get a fire drill situation, but
16:35it just didn't work out. Well, no, I'm talking about the end of the first half.
16:41I thought that that was actually pretty good clock measure because he was burned a bit.
16:45They had a game in Kansas City where they call a time with 33 seconds left from a couple yards
16:50away and they end up giving the ball back to the Chiefs with 30 seconds left. It didn't hurt us.
16:53It ended up going overtime, but he got crushed that time management decision.
16:56I thought this one was much better. I also liked how he talked in his press
17:00conference after the game that if they didn't get that third and inches where
17:03Graham Barton kind of messed up the snap and, you know, they got like a three or four yard
17:06tackle for loss, he was considering going for that. So I am I am a Todd Bowles guy.
17:11I think there are certainly areas he needs to improve. I don't think he's, you know,
17:14Sean McVay or, you know, one of these elite elite coaches. That being said,
17:19I think that he is a good coach and I'm perfectly happy with Todd Bowles being my coach
17:23next year and moving forward, hopefully for years to come. I think he is a good
17:27coach and he's getting a lot of hate right now. So I just wanted to address that.
17:32But yeah, shitty way to end the season. Best of luck to the commanders
17:36next week at Detroit. That is certainly going to be a
17:39tough game. We'll touch on the AFC games. These were not good games.
17:44Um, yesterday we'll start off, uh, Bill's Broncos Broncos up seven. Nothing. This
17:50looked like it was going to be like, holy shit. Like, was everyone on the wrong side of this?
17:54Frank, did you even after that bonus touchdown, did you have any,
17:57um, thoughts that Buffalo was in for a long day?
18:02I thought the first half, the Broncos played competitively.
18:06Should have been tied. It should have been tied. They doinked the field goal and that
18:10one didn't bounce in. But, uh, second half, the Bill's just, just laid the wood down.
18:17It was, it was, uh, it was the Bill's. Okay. We came out, we came out a little flat.
18:22The Broncos came out energized. Now we, now we take over. We just show what we can do. And
18:28the Broncos just couldn't do anything. And I think it's basically because
18:32look, look at the Broncos team. They got a lot of rookies on a team.
18:35Bo Nukes is a rookie. Got a young team that, that came out energized. Okay. We're in the
18:40playoffs. We're in the playoffs. We're in the playoffs. And then second half came out and the
18:44Bill's just came out. Okay. These guys were better than them. Let's just go out there.
18:49And that was, that was all she wrote. Shout out to Gruen too, because he said in his, uh,
18:54before he's like, Sean Payton's going to, or he said on the pro football football show. He's like,
18:57Sean Payton's going to do something crazy to win this game. And he pulls out the fake punt,
19:01which works. Uh, Max, do you have any thought that Bill, the Broncos were going to be able
19:04to pull this all upset, upset off? Uh, I mean, there were like some rumblings going into the
19:11weekend of like the Broncos defense is good enough to, you know, pull, pull off an upset like that.
19:17So that was one game that was like kind of interesting just because you, you have a elite
19:22defense and a super bowl winning head coach. So you saw that first touchdown. I was like,
19:26Oh, this could be interesting, but the bills are just too good. Like Josh Allen is too good.
19:31And I'm just happy that we're, that the NFL fans are going to be able to watch Ravens bills next
19:37week. Cause that'll be, yeah, that's going to be, that's going to be an elite game. That's
19:40going to be the best game, best game of the week then next weekend. Yeah. I mean, we look back,
19:46you know, a couple of years ago, um, Bill's chiefs that game where the chiefs score like 13 seconds,
19:51that was a divisional game, right? That was not the AFC championship game. Yeah. So I mean, this,
19:55this feels like it could have that type of feel. Um, let's quickly touch on it before we get into
20:00that game, uh, Ravens Steelers, uh, an absolute beat down by the Ravens. If you're,
20:07if you're a Steelers fan, Frank, do you want Tomlin out? You know, the Steelers are at a
20:13crossroad right now. Mike Tomlin is such a good coach. He, he, he gets into the playoffs. He gets
20:20him to the playoffs, but they are just not a good, if there's any, if Mike McDaniel's coaching the
20:25Steelers, they're going four and 13. Yeah. If Brian, if Brian Gable's coaching the Steelers,
20:31they're going three and 14, but Mike Tomlin is such a good coach and he'd probably be better
20:39off if, if he went elsewhere and wanted somewhere else and, and, and, and could say, you see, I am
20:44a good coach. It's just, the Steelers are so stagnant and stale and, and, and they just make
20:52the playoffs every year. So they can't get better, but they, they're, they're stubborn about it and
20:57they don't want to blow it up, but you can't blow it up. If Tomlin's there, they're just in a, in a,
21:01in a purgatory. They're in NFL purgatory and they might make the playoffs, but they're just purgatory.
21:07The best thing that can happen to the Steelers is, is to, is to see if anyone wants Tomlin.
21:13And Tomlin goes, you trade him, then you trade the whole team. You blow the team up. You go down
21:20for two, three years and you come up. Otherwise you're just going to be stagnant. And all of a
21:24sudden Tom's going to retire and you're going to be, oh, bad. They're going to be just bad, bad.
21:30They, they need to blow it up now. It's, it's so stagnant. They're stuck in this rut. You just
21:37gotta do something. And, and, and Tomlin, let him go coach somewhere. He'd be a good, he'd be a good
21:43fit for the Bears. I mean, I'd love to have him coach Miami, but blow it up, clean it up, start,
21:50start fresh because it's so stagnant and hard. You can't fix it. It's just like,
21:56they're good enough to make the playoffs, but they're not good enough to do anything else.
21:59They're good enough to finish nine and eight, 10 and, 10 and seven, but they're not good enough
22:02to do anything else. And it's just, Tomlin's going to get you enough wins, but you just can't
22:09blow it up. You can't, you can't blow it. You blow it up with him there because he'll find ways
22:14to win games that other coaches can't. Max, objectively, who's a better coach, Mike Tomlin
22:18or Nick Sirianni? You know, one of them has the highest winning percentage in the, out of active
22:24NFL coaches right now is Nick Sirianni. So that's the only thing I'll answer about that question.
22:29Tomlin's never had a losing season. He's been there 18 years. He's done it over a longer
22:34period of time. 18 years, no losing seasons. Winning percentages though.
22:44That's a small window. If Nick Sirianni can carry this winning percentage over a 10 year period,
22:50then I'll give him his flowers. But Tomlin's done it for 18 years. I mean, Tomlin with the Eagles,
23:00the Eagles would probably be the one seed. They probably wouldn't even play this weekend.
23:04Max, who do you like this weekend, Steelers or Ravens? Ravens or Bills?
23:10I'm going to say the Bills. I think I just trust Josh Allen more in these
23:16playoff pressure situations. Neither of them have really won anything like of note in the AFC,
23:23but at least I've seen more Josh Allen performances that I can like look at and be like, all right,
23:29that is a winning performance. I haven't really seen that from Lamar. So until you see that,
23:34I'm going to pick with what I see. I think Lamar probably has some better pieces around him
23:40roster-wise, but I just like Josh Allen right now better. I would like to see him go forward.
23:48So yeah, I'll take the Bills. I like the Bills, Tobias. And I actually think this game is going
23:57to come down to the Bills mafia, the home crowd. Both teams are cold weather, so that's not going
24:03to affect either of them, but I just think the Bills know their window of opportunity is closing.
24:12And they know right now they have to strike with the irons hot. They know they have a good chance
24:17to go to Kansas City and win. Forget about Chiefs, Texans. I mean, the Texans played a
24:23charter team that came in just flat, and Justin Herbert's postseason resume looks ugly right now.
24:37In big games, as he points out in the games, Herbert, I know Tua has his problems,
24:43but everyone tries to compare Tua to Herbert. I think Herbert stinks. I don't like Justin
24:50Herbert. I think he's the most overrated quarterback in the NFL. I mean, every time I
24:55see him in a big game, he sucks. He can't win. I've never seen Justin Herbert lead a two-minute drive.
25:04He beats the bad teams. Yeah, good for you, but no, Justin Herbert, that performance was...
25:13And the Chargers should have been up 17-0 the way the Texans came out in that game,
25:18and then C.J. Stroud just throws that little, after a fumbled snap, mind you, just tosses it up,
25:26and all the Chargers are running, fumble, fumble, fumble, and meanwhile, there's one guy standing
25:31alone out there, I mean, alone out there on an island, and C.J. Stroud's able to throw to him.
25:37I mean, that's just the biggest mistake, and from that moment on, the Chargers were done,
25:42mentally done, and they just crumbled, just fell apart, and I'm surprised it happened to
25:49Jim Harbaugh's team, but Justin Herbert is so overrated. Max, do you give the Texans any shot
25:55against the Chiefs next weekend? I want to say yes, but no. That game is going to be over before
26:07the Chiefs haven't had a lot of blowouts this year, but this one's going to be a blowout.
26:12They only played them last month, a couple weeks ago, and I think it'll be close in the first half.
26:21Tank Dell injury was unfortunate. They're going to just pound the Texans. They're going to win
26:34that game by three touchdowns, at least. This will be the first game all year in which the
26:43Chiefs top 30 points because they're going to come out fresh two weeks off. They're going to want to
26:48say, oh, you talk about not scoring points. In fact, I'm going to tell you what the final score
26:52is going to be right now. That's going to be Chiefs 41, Texans 3. It's going to be ugly.
27:02They're going to be so Taylor Swift every five minutes because everyone's going to be bored.
27:06It's going to be a brutal game. Ugly. The Texans are just going to get rolled up upon like they
27:12always do. There's two things that always happen to Texans. One, if they get in the playoffs,
27:17they play on Saturday, and if they win that game, they play the next week and get demolished,
27:23and that's Texans football. They have not advanced past this round. They will not pass
27:30this round. In fact, the game probably is already over. We just don't know it yet.
27:35Some bulletin board material there for the Texans.
27:38Joe Mixon's going to be smoking on that Frank the Tank back after the game.

29:07All right, let's quickly talk about college football. We got the championship game next
29:13week. Frank, you're rocking the Notre Dame hat. Notre Dame against Ohio State.
29:20Ohio State winning 28-14 over Texas. Notre Dame squeaking by Penn State after a ugly Drew Allard
29:27interception. Frank, what are your thoughts on next Monday's game? You give the Fighting Irish
29:32a good chance to take one home. I do. I do. I really do. You know, last year they played Ohio
29:38State, lost on the final play, final second. That was a hard-fought game itself, and it was a game
29:45I actually went to where Frank Walks began. You know, I gotta say, there's something magical about
29:54this Penn State team, about this Notre Dame team. The Penn State win was great. You know, Ohio State
30:02was lucky to beat Texas. Texas had two total just coaching brain farts. First off,
30:10go to blitz at the end of the first half with 30 seconds left. Let that guy wide open,
30:15march down the field on the screen pass. And then you had the first in goal, and you're doing a
30:21pitch back. Those are two just unexcusable plays, but Notre Dame has been magical. Marcus Freeman
30:27was on Frank Walks. This is magical. I wish Riley Mills was playing, but Jack Kaiser's going to be
30:32out there. Notre Dame's got a good defense. Love looks like he was starting to get healthy at the
30:38end of that game. Jeremiah Love, you know, Love's had big runs all year. Notre Dame's found ways to
30:44win games. You know what? There's one thing about Notre Dame that's going to make the difference
30:48maker. Marcus Freeman. Marcus Freeman's going to find a way. Notre Dame's going to beat Ohio State.
30:57Max, I hear you like tough loss for Penn State.
31:00Yeah, tough loss. You know, Drew Eller was not a good enough quarterback to win that game. I
31:06think he'll be all right going forward, but that was just a brutal pick. You watch college and you
31:13watch NFL, and it's just like NFL quarterbacks. Even some of the worst NFL quarterbacks in that
31:18situation will not make that throw, and that's just the difference between college and NFL,
31:22and that's just something that you need to account for when watching college football,
31:27and it was disappointing, but I don't know. I think Ohio State's going to smoke them. I think
31:34they got too much talent. I think Notre Dame has too many injuries. If Notre Dame was fully
31:40healthy, I think that they would have a shot, but if your best offensive player's banged up
31:45and he's not playing at 100% and your best defensive player's not playing in the game,
31:49it's going to be tough to match up against a team like Ohio State who's just kind of rolling right
31:53now. They are a wagon. I'm interested to see what Tate's potential punishment would be if they don't
31:59win this game because he eked out of having to walk. I think he was not going to do the highway
32:05routes. I think it was going to be like 310 miles, which would have been a horrific punishment.
32:12Well, I would have been waiting at the finish line with a nice bowl of chili for him.
32:20Yes, we shall see. That game is a week from tonight,
32:23so plenty of time to talk about that, but anything else, boys, for post-show?
32:26Nope, I'm heading back. I'll be back here in Chicago next week for that game to watch that
32:34stream. Nice. Love it. All right. Godspeed to Frank, who's going to, if you're watching this,
32:42probably just landed in Newark or New York and is headed into the office for the stream.
32:47Thank you to Frank and Maxi. This has been The Rundown. We'll see you guys later.
32:51See you later.
32:56you
