00:00So, just to introduce myself, I'm the Regional Sales Manager for Revolution Laundry, Washme,
00:09in the south of the UK.
00:12So just to explain to you why we chose you, because we went to every club in Wales, we
00:17think that your clubs offer the best opportunity for us to give you some revenue from our machines.
00:26Now, what that means is you're getting revenue every 12 months of the year.
00:31At the moment, I know everybody's scrambling around for every penny they can get, so we
00:37want to help you to increase the money in your coffers and help cut down on your overheads
00:43and that sort of thing.
00:45So, you would also be chosen on the location, the facilities you've got, such as car parks,
00:52and the popularity of machines in Wales.
00:55I mean, as Rob will agree with, Wales is one of our best areas for Revolution Laundry,
01:04and the uptake from people in Wales has been phenomenal.
01:09I think we turn over over a million pounds in Wales per year, just on Revolution Laundry
01:16alone, and that's gone up significantly in the last four years.
01:21Yeah, yes, yeah.
01:31So, basically a little bit about my group.
01:34We were the world's leading autonomous vending machine operator.
01:38We work in 18 countries.
01:41We've got over 28,000 front of booths and kids rides and other digital kiosks around
01:47the world.
01:48We're a British company, which we're glad to hear of, and we're equipped on the British
01:52Stock Exchange, and you can see from there the amount of employees we've got working
01:56for us throughout the world.
01:59So, over the past three years, we've transformed the company from a photo booth company.
02:05You would have probably used our machines, our photo booths, and you wouldn't have known
02:09about it, because every time you have a passport photo taken, you would have used one of our
02:14machines.
02:15So, what we found was that during COVID, obviously with the supermarkets being closed
02:22and people not going on holidays, there was a drop off in that.
02:25So, we decided to put in place a really good marketing campaign on Revolution Laundry.
02:32What it meant was that people at the time had an excuse to actually go out and do something.
02:37So, the machines are all external machines.
02:40So, you could go out, you could spend 45 minutes out of the house, basically.
02:46So, there's over 7,000 sites globally on Revolution Laundry, and of those, we've got
02:53over 1,200 in the UK, or Britain, I should say.
02:58So, the people we work with, they're all industry leaders.
03:04We've just recently signed two major contracts, one with Morrisons, and we
03:10already had machines in about 100 of their stores.
03:13We're now rolling out to another 300 of their stores.
03:16And you would probably see them now, certainly in Wales, we've got quite a lot,
03:21Evervale, Cwmbran, places like that, Swansea.
03:23We've got machines in all their stores.
03:26In fact, we've got maybe two or three in some, they are so popular.
03:31So, we've also got MFG, who is the largest forecourt operator in the UK.
03:39And they've got over 1,000 sites, and we've been installing about 300 of those this year.
03:47Basically, on the Revolution Laundry, you probably would have seen on your travels around
03:52the country, these probably next to petrol stations, or as I say, Morrisons, or sometimes
03:59in the convenience stores.
04:02The beauty of the machines are, they are totally hands-off for you guys.
04:07We just place them outside premises where you've got dead space, and we want to utilize
04:14our space to get revenue for you on there.
04:21So, what is Revolution Laundry?
04:24It's a self-service laundry system.
04:26It's available 24-7.
04:28We can, if need be, restrict the times on there.
04:33We do sometimes have issues with people using them at night, but that's not a problem.
04:38We can do the timers on the machines for you.
04:42One of the biggest selling points of them, and certainly to the public, is we do three
04:47loads in one.
04:48So, your domestic machine will probably do a six-kilo wash.
04:52These machines have a 20-kilo washer, a nine-kilo washer, and a 20-kilo dryer on there.
04:59So, basically, it means that you roll up on a Saturday morning, put three loads of washing
05:04in, put your phone number into the machine, go off and do something, whether you want
05:09to do your shopping, whether you want to wash your car, charge your car nowadays, and it
05:14will send you a text five minutes before the end of the wash to tell you that your washing
05:20or your laundry is done.
05:24What it does, it increases the footfall to your site.
05:28Having these machines outside clubs would work two ways.
05:32Basically, it means you've got people coming to the club specifically to do their washing.
05:37I know it sounds a little bit crazy, but trust me, they will.
05:41And then, if you've got any offerings in the club, you've got a little cafe, some have
05:45that, or you're doing some food offering, what you'll find is people will stay there
05:50and will have a cup of coffee.
05:52So, you've got that extra income coming from that as well.
05:55Because the machines are so good, it also encourages loyalty.
05:59So, people will come back all the time and they'll be washing their duvets, your kits,
06:05everything.
06:06One of the good things about it is you probably are spending quite a bit of money every month
06:11washing kits.
06:12I think, on average, the cost per kit is about £30, from what I'm led to believe.
06:18So, what you could do, having a machine on site yourself, you could use that machine.
06:24You would have to pay for it, obviously, because otherwise, what's the point of, because
06:28you're paying for the electric as well.
06:30But rather than pay £30, it will be £11 for a full kit, of which you would get £2.20
06:38back.
06:38So, in effect, you're paying £8 to wash a full kit, saving you £22.
06:45Over the course of 30 games, that's still £600 that you're saving every year.
06:51That is really, you could put two other uses in.
06:56So, and that goes on to the collecting the income from the service.
07:00So, your commission would help with your overheads to the site.
07:04And they will reduce other overheads you have as well, as I said, with washing your own
07:10kit.
07:12So, what do we offer?
07:13Basically, it's a self-service machine.
07:17The detergent included in the machine, so people haven't got to bring it along, even
07:20though some people still do.
07:23It's contactless payment only.
07:26So, our guys do all the maintenance on the machines.
07:30So, basically, you have nothing to do with it.
07:33All we want is your space.
07:35They're accessible for people with reduced mobility.
07:39And we've got different sort of quick wash methods you can do.
07:42There's a call centre as well that's available 24-7, or we will get back to people if there's
07:49an issue on that.
07:52So, what is it?
07:53It's risk-free for you guys.
07:56Basically, we take care of everything.
07:58We supply the machine.
08:00We carry on the ground works, all electrical works, everything.
08:04It equates to about a £50,000 investment in your site.
08:09Now, there's not many people around who will offer you that.
08:13And, as I said, we do everything.
08:17Unlike other people, we offer service that guarantees people will stay there.
08:23So, you're going to be hanging around having a pint, or I suppose there's nothing better
08:27than saying, I'm going to do the washing to your wife, and then pop into the club and
08:31watch the first half of the game, or whatever.
08:34So, you gain both worlds.
08:36You get a pint, and you get brownie points off the missus.
08:39So, let's go over what we've done just really in the UK.
08:43We started in 2017.
08:46We've currently got 1,200 revolutions in the UK.
08:50We're growing every month.
08:52At the moment, we're up to about 40 to 50 machines being installed every month.
08:59We're looking to do 650 plus in the UK this year.
09:05We are third in the group behind France.
09:09I think it's Germany, Rob.
09:11I may be wrong.
09:14Yeah, I was overtaking them there.
09:16Oh, you have overtaken them.
09:17Great stuff.
09:17So, we're second in the group.
09:19Considering we've only been doing it for eight years, it shows the popularity of the machines
09:24and how much people appreciate the convenience as well.
09:29As we've probably all been in a situation where a washing machine has broken at the
09:36most inconvenient time.
09:38And with these machines dotted around the area, you can use them until your machine is fixed.
09:45Or as I say, for stuff you can't wash at home, curtains, duvets, bedding, etc.
09:52So, back in 2023, we've got 1.1 million people if you use our revolution laundry machines.
10:02And that is growing every month.
10:05We see this as being one of the most exciting products in the UK at the moment.
10:09And certainly dealing with the retailers we do, they are of exactly the same opinion.
10:16One deal I've dealt with down in the Swansea way, CK food stores.
10:24Some of you guys will probably know them.
10:26Chris Kiley, who is the MD and owner of the company, has said that our revolution laundry
10:32is the best thing he's ever put into his stores.
10:36And he wish he'd done it years ago.
10:40So, right.
10:41This is what you all want to hear, basically.
10:44So, what do we provide?
10:47So, we offer a £250 sign-on fee on completion of installation.
10:52OK.
10:53It's additional service to your club at no additional cost to you.
10:57£50,000 investment in there.
11:01And, sorry, beg your pardon, I've just gone back one.
11:03I didn't mean to click on that.
11:05And we do all the maintenance on the machines.
11:07You'll all receive a sign-on bonus on completion of the install.
11:11You get 20% of the share of the revenue of the club.
11:14Just to give you some examples, we have two machines in Aberdare, in the Texco garage
11:21in Cwmbarch and in the BP garage on the bottom of Cwmbarch Road.
11:26Those machines between them generate over £7,000 per month in revenue.
11:32So, if you took that yourself, you're looking then at £1,400 per month.
11:37You guys, I doubt very much you'd do £7,000.
11:40If you did, we'd put three machines on the site.
11:42Robert would be all over it.
11:44But it's the opportunity for you guys.
11:46I anticipate you guys to be getting, I would say, between £5,000 and £6,000 per year
11:53off these machines.
11:58So, as I say, just to repeat what I've already said, £50,000 investment per site,
12:0320% commission, totally hands-off for you guys.
12:07Unlike custom machines and things like that, we don't expect you guys to replenish.
12:11And we do all that.
12:12All the consumers are covered by ourselves.
12:14As I say, the £6,000, I expect you guys to have an extra revenue and to carry overhead.
12:23The benefits, additional revenue stream, on-site laundry for all to use.
12:27So, basically, the public can use it.
12:29You guys can use it.
12:32I'm thinking about the junior sections as well.
12:35Mums drop their kids off or sit there watching the kids playing rugby on a Saturday or a Sunday.
12:41They can throw the washing in.
12:43They've freed up the rest of the day to do whatever they want to.
12:47It's reducing your overheads.
12:48It's reducing waiting time as well for the washing.
12:52And more importantly, it's a service to the community.
12:56So now more and more clubs are, you are the hub of the community in your area.
13:01And anything you can do to bring people to the club and get them more involved with the club
13:07is going to help you guys.
13:08So, what do we need?
13:10Basically, we need free face power.
13:13Now, what that is probably, you probably know is, if you've got floodlights on your ground,
13:19you will have free face power.
13:21OK, we also need access to fountain drains and a water supply.
13:26We look after all the connection up to these units from the drainage to the electrical connection.
13:33We also need public access to machines.
13:36As I say, the existing sites in Wales, there are some that are generating over £70,000 a year.
13:43And we'd like to sort of share that love with you guys and let you get a part of that.
13:52Basically, that's, I think I've bored you enough now.
13:55So, I just want to say thank you and just invite any questions for you guys.
