00:00Hi, I'm digital reporter Amy Seddy. Numerous celebrities have sent good luck messages to runners from a Southport primary school who had taken part in the London Marathon later this month in memory of the Southport stabbing victims. Take a look at those messages next.
00:18Hi, Sergio. Everyone at Match of the Day just wanted to wish yourself, Ginny and all those running for the Churchtown Playground every success in the London Marathon. We have no words for your courage and determination to create a lasting legacy for Alice, Bibi and Elsie. I'm sure Alice will be incredibly proud of her dad. Good luck. I'd like to say we'll be with you every step of the way, but we're not as quick as we used to be.
00:45Yeah, good luck, Sergio. We're all thinking of you.
00:48I think the very best of luck to Sergio Aguilar, who's running the London Marathon next month in memory of his beautiful daughter Alice, who tragically lost her life in Southport last year.
00:57And in support of all those affected by the heartbreaking event, Ginny Payne, who's the headteacher at Churchtown Primary, the school both Alice and Bibi attended, will be running alongside other staff.
01:08And they're running to help raise funds for an incredible new playground at Churchtown, which will create a joyful space for children to play, to laugh, to mess around and to make memories.
01:19So good luck to everyone who is running for the Churchtown Playground. Let's make this happen.
01:24Let's make this happen.
