00:00Hello and a very good morning to you on this Wednesday morning which is wet for some.
00:04Showers will develop as we watch an area of low pressure gradually fade away as it sinks down towards the low countries.
00:11But this band of cloud and rain this morning, you could see some moderate pulses towards the southeast.
00:17And then some quieter weather, a few showers developing and then into Thursday it's mostly fine.
00:22This weak weather front here could bring more cloud, perhaps a little bit of wet weather before we look towards the west
00:28as the session of weather fronts moves in Thursday and into Friday.
00:32Now for the time being, if you are stepping outside, you can see where the rain is.
00:36The southeast of England, the Midlands, East Wales, up towards places such as Derbyshire, South Yorkshire, also Lincolnshire, northern parts of Wales.
00:45A little rain continues across the far southeast of Northern Ireland.
00:49To the north of that, some clearer skies towards the west.
00:51Watch out for one or two mist and fog patches, thicker clouds further northeast.
00:55And some rain reserved for Shetland as we head through the first part of the day.
01:00But it will be pleasant towards the west of Scotland.
01:03Now notice this band of rain.
01:05It will lose its intensity through the morning as it sinks southwards.
01:10So some brighter skies emerging across northern England.
01:13It will dry up across Northern Ireland.
01:15But we hang on to more clouds across central and southern areas.
01:18And with that, one or two showers through the afternoon.
01:21Now showers will develop further north as well.
01:23It helps with a little sunshine here.
01:25And they could turn heavy in places fairly scattered there as we head through to the latter part of the day.
01:30So all in all, it's an improving picture where you see the rain through this morning.
01:34But certainly the clouds are going to be fairly slow to break through the afternoon.
01:38So temperatures typically around 16, 17 Celsius are the very best.
01:41Cooler along this east coast, 12 or 13 degrees Celsius.
01:45Now as we head through Wednesday evening and overnight, some late sunshine to end the day across some parts.
01:52More cloud drifts in from the North Sea with a slight onshore breeze on this eastern side.
01:57Clearer skies further west.
01:59We've lost the breeze, which is good news.
02:01So a quiet end to the night.
02:03Maybe where the clouds are thick enough, you could see the odd spot of two of rain.
02:07And a brisk wind towards the far north of Scotland.
02:09But through Thursday, some fine weather, broken cloud, some sunshine coming through, even the cloud breaking towards the east at times.
02:16Temperatures 16, 17 degrees Celsius.
02:18But notice there's some rain waiting in the wings.
02:21So come Friday, yet again, Northern Ireland starts off with a wet day with some outbreaks of rain pushing in across western Scotland.
02:29Elsewhere, some fine weather, some sunshine coming through as this band of rain makes inroads eastwards very slowly through the latter part of the day across Irish Seacoast.
02:39Before that, though, temperatures arrive around 16 or 17 degrees Celsius.
02:43And it's showery on Saturday.
02:46We will see some fine weather attempting to come through from the west as we hang on to a bit more cloud further east.
02:52And then come Sunday, more showers in the mix.
02:54I'll see you later.
