00:00Hello there and a very good morning to you on this Wednesday morning which is
00:04rather chilly. We're seeing a touch of frost across central northern areas of
00:09Scotland. The cloud will break through the day though. High pressure firmly in
00:13charge through the next few days. The weather remains dry. Cooler along this
00:17east coast but as the wind changes direction Thursday and into Friday
00:21temperatures on this eastern strip will slowly recover as well. In fact through
00:26Thursday into Friday we'll see temperatures reaching the high teens if
00:29not the low 20s. Now this morning as I said it's rather cool outside. One or two
00:35mist and fog patches. Notice one or two lighter showers along this eastern strip
00:39here clipping Norfolk, Suffolk, even Kent. Elsewhere a mix of cloud and some
00:44brighter skies coming through. Certainly some sunshine central and northern areas
00:48of Scotland but we do run into some showers across Shetland. Now watch out
00:53for a cold start across the glens of Scotland. Here temperatures have dipped
00:57close to freezing if not below through the first part of this morning. So through
01:02today we're chasing clouds a little bit through the morning stuck under that cell
01:05of high pressure. But the clouds will break at the same time. One or two showers
01:10can't be ruled out across more eastern and southeastern parts of England but
01:14they'll be very light and scattered. Most places remaining dry. Through the
01:18afternoon some lovely sunshine coming through. We even lose most of the showers
01:21across Shetland. So a fine day. Temperatures higher than yesterday. Coming in
01:26around 16, 17 towards the northwest. 17 to 19 across central and southern areas along
01:32this eastern side though. 13, 14 and feeling probably a bit cooler than that. Add on the
01:37strength of the wind which will be a bit brisk in places. It's going to feel
01:41rather cool. Now through this evening and overnight that cloud returns and drifts
01:46from the east towards more western areas of England and Wales. And again one or two drizzly showers.
01:51We can't rule it out. A drizzly shower across Shetland as well. Clearer skies across
01:55Northern Ireland as well as Scotland. And again a chilly start to the day. Through
02:00Thursday then this cloud could be a bit stubborn in places. Again one or two light
02:03showers here. Most places dry. 17 to 19 degrees Celsius will be your high. Temperatures
02:09recovering along this eastern side and more so on Friday. So Friday dawns with some
02:15sunshine. A mix of cloud possibly northern England, southern Scotland, Northern Ireland but it
02:20will break allowing for some blue sky and sunshine. It's a fine day mostly across
02:24most parts of the country. And temperatures on this eastern side. Recovering to 17, 18
02:30degrees Celsius. 20 across southern parts of England and Wales. And that pretty much
02:34sets the scene for Saturday as well. I'll see you later.
