Marked on August 17, the festival was held atop the Dayara Bugyal (meadow), about 12,000 feet from Uttarkashi's Raithal. The village serves as the base camp for the 11-km-long trek to Dayara, attracting visitors from different parts of the country to participate in the festive extravaganza.
