00:00 It's Taylor Kaus here for CLNS Media,

00:02 reporting on the 14th day of Patriots training camp

00:05 in a session that was held in pads.

00:07 It was a good day for Mac Jones,

00:09 who had some really impressive completions

00:11 on the sideline of Judu Smith-Schuster,

00:13 one that seemed to be in the void of a cover two defense,

00:15 and another with Miles Bryant in tight coverage

00:17 along the sideline where he dropped it in the bucket.

00:20 Now Mac was a bit up and down

00:21 when it came to red zone drills.

00:22 He had a couple early overthrows on what looked like fades,

00:25 but he did throw a touchdown to Hunter Henry

00:28 and had maybe the best throw of the day

00:30 to Kendrick Bourne's on a seam throw,

00:32 where once again, Miles Bryant was in tight coverage,

00:35 but Kendrick Bourne made a one-handed grab

00:36 to complete the pass.

00:37 It was also a really good day for Bourne,

00:39 who caught several passes on several targets on the day,

00:42 including a couple of slants

00:44 and even getting a touch on a reverse.

01:06 on what looked like a miscommunication

01:07 with DeMario Douglas,

01:08 and another where he may have forced a throw

01:10 to Devontae Parker,

01:11 where I wasn't totally sure

01:12 whether Parker made a late adjustment

01:14 to grab the ball from Jones

01:15 or Jones came away with the interception.

01:17 Jones eventually found a rhythm

01:19 and the offense was humming as it went down the field

01:21 and eventually scored a touchdown

01:22 with Ramondre Stevenson catching an underneath throw

01:25 for a long touchdown.

01:26 Malik Cunningham continues to get reps at quarterback,

01:29 though he's almost exclusively being used

01:30 as a running threat.

01:32 Not only is he getting different looks

01:33 that expand New England's playbook,

01:35 but he's taking snaps with David Andrews under center,

01:38 so it seems like this could be a significant package

01:40 for New England going forward.

01:41 One of the more alarming bits of news today

01:43 was Mike Gusicchi leaving practice early

01:45 after suffering what seemed to be an arm injury

01:47 during a tackling drill.

01:49 He left and was helped by trainers to get off the field

01:51 and wasn't seen for the rest of practice.
