00:07Temporary traffic lights have been placed on a major road in Eastbourne as urgent gas network repairs take place.
00:14The traffic lights and diversion signs were placed on Upperton Road after a leak was discovered.
00:18SGN said it began urgent repairs to the gas network following the discovery.
00:23The lights are being manually operated at peak times to manage traffic flow and help minimise disruption.
00:29Motorists are also unable to turn left from both Upperton Road and New Upperton Road onto their junctions with Moatcroft Road.
00:37There is no confirmation yet on how long this work might take.
00:40Two years after it hosted the Ancient and Honourable Guild of Town Criers Championship,
00:45Bognor Regis is set to have a Town Crier competition all of its own.
00:49Set to take place every two years, the inaugural championship will kick off on June 22nd
00:54and features competitors from all over the country, including Arundel, Bexhill and Lincolnshire.
00:59Criers will be assessed across four different categories and on the quality of their regalia.
01:05Two stolen motorhomes have been returned to their owner after the suspected thieves were stopped, Sussex Police have said.
01:11Police said that a break-in was reported at a commercial premises in Lower Dicker near Hailsham at about 10.35pm on Thursday, June 6th.
01:20Police said that Specialist Roads Policing Unit officers from Sussex Police and Kent Police tracked both of the stolen vehicles.
