00:04June 14th, 2024. New thought-provoking art installations have appeared at Wakehurst in
00:10Ardingly. Part of the Wild Botanic Garden, which is home to the Millennium Seed Bank,
00:15has been transformed into Meadowland. The attraction is open to the public from today
00:20to September 10th. Wakehurst said that visitors can discover spectacular thought-provoking art
00:26installations that are inspired by threatened habitats. A bomb disposal vehicle was called
00:31to Horsham yesterday after the discovery of a suspicious package at an MP candidate's office.
00:37According to eyewitnesses, homes were evacuated on Madeira Avenue after the incident at the
00:41office of Horsham's Conservative Parliamentary candidate Jeremy Quinn. A police spokesperson
00:46confirmed that police received a report of a suspicious package at a premises in Madeira
00:51Avenue, Horsham at about 2.40pm. Police said that they and the Explosive Ordnance Disposal
00:56Team were at the scene. In an update at 8.45pm, police said they had stood down their presence.
01:02They said that after an assessment it had been confirmed that the package was safe and that
01:06there was no risk to the public. Eastbourne College Boarding House, Wargrave House,
01:11has been awarded an Outstanding Contribution to Fundraising Volunteer Award after pupils raised
01:16£15,000 for St Peter and St James Hospice through the school's annual 24-hour row-a-thon.
01:23The row-a-thon took place in February and witnessed pupils and staff campaigning to
01:27support the work carried out by St Peter and St James Hospice. The challenge was especially
01:33personal to the school as the hospice provided support for one of its families in the summer of
