00:00Good morning. Well, you probably still need to carry that umbrella with you today as it's
00:04another day of sunny spells and scattered showers. But it's been a bright start into
00:10eastern areas, especially across parts of Scotland and eastern England, but a rash of
00:14showers are already moving in from the west. Some of these are going to be heavy at times,
00:20containing the odd rumble of thunder as well, especially across parts of southern Scotland,
00:26and into the Midlands too. But in between the showers, there will still be some sunny spells
00:32and with lighter winds out there, hopefully it'll be a little bit more pleasant in the sunshine.
00:37Highs of up to 18, possibly 19 degrees in the south and across parts of Aberdeenshire as well,
00:43it should be feeling warmer here. Highs of up to 15, possibly 17 further towards the south of
00:49Scotland. So as we go through Sunday evening, the showers continuing to push their way eastwards,
00:56but they'll start fading away. So we'll see some late evening sunshine, but also lengthy clear
01:01skies as we go through the overnight period. Still some showers coming into Orkney and Shetland,
01:07but further towards the south. That's the next area of low pressure, bringing cloudy conditions
01:13and some spells of rain too. So it's going to be a mild start here underneath the cloud and rain,
01:19but elsewhere actually a chilly fill to start Monday morning, with temperatures dropping into
01:25the mid, possibly even low single figures on Monday. So yeah, a fresh start for most of us,
01:31but also a bright start on Monday morning. Plenty of sunshine, but some showers will start breaking
01:37out, especially across parts of northern England into Scotland as well, where they could turn a
01:43little bit thundery. Further towards the south, this is that area of low pressure, bringing
01:48increasingly increasing amounts of cloud across the southwest and into southeastern England,
01:54with outbreaks of rain now coming in to coastal areas too, and a bit more of a breeze as well.
02:01But in between, across northern parts of Wales and into northern England as well, we should see
02:06some decent spells of sunshine, and here we'll see temperatures climbing 19, possibly 20 or 21
02:14degrees. So feeling more pleasant, not as high as we would expect still at this time in July,
02:20but hopefully nevertheless feeling a little bit warmer than it has done in recent days. But
02:25underneath this cloud and rain further towards the south, perhaps quite a humid fill, but obviously
02:30quite disappointing with further spells of rain. Now as we go through Monday and into Tuesday,
02:37we need to watch for this area of low pressure and its track as it moves its way northwards.
02:43There's still some uncertainty on the exact track of this as it pushes its way northwards, but that
02:49will bring some unsettled conditions, some spells of rain or showers for some of us as we start the
02:55new week. But for more details on that, make sure to hit subscribe so you don't miss a forecast,
03:00and I'll catch you soon. Bye bye!
