00:00Well, it looks like Beetlejuice has got some aftershocks in the afterlife.
00:04Here's a look at the Royal Bauble's Beetlejuice Shrunken Head Baublehead.
00:18Beetlejuice shouldn't have messed with a witch doctor.
00:21This resin Baublehead of Beetlejuice features a shrunken head,
00:23as seen in the last scene of the Neitherworld Waiting Room.
00:27Hey, you know what the difference is between a regular doctor and a doctor of the dead?
00:30The doctor of the dead has a whole lot more patience.
00:33Just before we get a closer look, I'm here all day, by the way.
00:35Just before, of course, we get a closer look at the Royal Bauble's Beetlejuice Shrunken Head Baublehead,
00:40I'd like to thank the folks over at Royal Baubles that provide the sample we can have a look at.
00:43If you guys are interested and would like to get your hands on Beetlejuice,
00:46he is actually available either through Amazon or you can also go to Baubleheads.com.
00:51The figure's size of his body is going to be pretty much in scale with a regular Baublehead's.
00:55I'll bring in one in a second, though his head makes him a whole lot shorter.
00:58This version of Beetlejuice is only going to be about four and a half inches in height,
01:02or a shrunken Beetlejuice Baublehead is about eleven and a half centimeters tall.
01:06As for comparing him sizes with other Baubleheads,
01:09you know, slide over Beetlejuice and I'm going to bring in Wednesday Adams.
01:12The irony, in fact, is obviously that Jenna Ortega is going to be in the new Beetlejuice Beetlejuice,
01:16playing the daughter of Lydia.
01:18Sizing from the two, obviously, if Beetlejuice wasn't taking a seat this whole time,
01:23you could say that he would be about this size here.
01:25So I would feel he'd be a pretty decent size and scale with Wednesday.
01:29It just so happens, though, he has a very tiny, tiny little head.
01:32I will be speaking to Beetlejuice's tiny head more in a moment.
01:36First, though, let's pick up the Baublehead.
01:37I did want to show you guys what this thing looks like in person.
01:40If you are familiar, though, with the Baubleheads,
01:42you'll know by now the attention to detail on all of these things.
01:45First of all, they're generally made here of resin,
01:47so there's going to be a few little things that we're going to talk about that could be a little bit more fragile.
01:51More specifically, tiny head here on the top.
01:53But it's painted exquisitely.
01:55You can see even on the side, for example, they've got the little logos there of Beetlejuice.
01:59And that's everywhere, other than just the front placard that's raised a little bit
02:02that actually has the Beetlejuice font.
02:04Very nicely painted. Very nicely painted.
02:06We'll just spin this around so you guys can see it from all the back here as well.
02:09On the bottom of this, as usually the case with Royal Baubles,
02:11you've got yourself a main sticker that tells us what company is producing it.
02:14It's the Premium Quality Collectibles.
02:16You can check out more at www.royalbaubles.com.
02:19There's also, as well, in the corners of the square, rubberized feet to prevent scratching on surfaces.
02:23As for the actual layout of the land here,
02:26we've got ourselves the interior of the waiting room where Beetlejuice is sitting.
02:29He's been waiting a while, and he's going to be waiting even longer when he realizes what number is on his card.
02:34So he ends up swapping out his takeaway number with someone right next to him.
02:38And, of course, that ends up coming back to haunt him a little bit later on.
02:41The actual detailing to the chair looks fantastic as well.
02:45This isn't just painted in place.
02:46If you were to look at this up close, you can see that there's some texturing that they've done to the chair itself.
02:50And they've also added a little bit of wear to it as well.
02:52So it looks like it's an old seat he's probably been sitting around for a while in.
02:56Beetlejuice has a couple of watches there on the sides of his hand.
02:59He's also got some rings painted nicely there and some fingers there as well.
03:03And, of course, he's got his tiny little takeaway number.
03:06This one just happens to be number four.
03:08The resulting in stealing someone else's number, though, is that Beetlejuice's head does get shrunk down in size.
03:13He does have, of course, his burgundy type of tuxedo with a few little rips and notable tears there.
03:18He's got a little bit of a poofiness there on the front of his shirt as well.
03:21But, again, it's just a fantastically painted bobblehead.
03:24The thing about it, though, is that it's a much smaller head.
03:27They took at least the time when you took this out of the packaging that there's a little bit of a foam,
03:31like a little foam sheet that they actually tucked underneath the head.
03:34Whether it be the large heads or the smaller size varieties,
03:38obviously, they will want to be making sure that these things are protected as they're traveling and getting to the collector's market.
03:43Obviously, when it comes to bobbleheads, I had to take off that little foam sheet,
03:47and now Beetlejuice has the freedom to move his head about.
03:50He doesn't move as much, though, just because, again, like the size of the quarters.
03:53He's got, obviously, a big body, but a little tiny, tiny head.
03:56So his head's not going to move as much, but it still has a good amount of freedom to it.
04:00Head sculpt-wise, it looks pretty good.
04:02Dark colors around the eyes.
04:04He's got a little bit of molding there on the side of his face as well.
04:07I would really love to have seen this guy get released with a larger head, too,
04:10just before he gets his head shrunk down in size.
04:13Other options also available, I would really like to see them down the road produce.
04:17The Beetlejuice that has the, you know, the attention choppers,
04:21and Beetlejuice basically has those mallets on either side,
04:23and he basically hits the springs and knocks the people through the roof.
04:26Love to get that one.
04:27And I was also thinking, too, what if they produced themselves, oh, a sandworm?
04:30I think a sandworm would be fantastic as well.
04:32I'm not really sure how abouts that would bobble,
04:34but if it's anything like, for example, the thing that we had a look at in the earlier review,
04:37they probably could find some ways to incorporate springs,
04:40so it looked like the individual links of the worm would be able to move.
04:43But all in all, though, I'm really happy with how this one turned out.
04:45Big fan of Beetlejuice.
04:46Big fan of the fact we are getting ourselves a brand new movie, too.
04:49And I think even though this isn't really necessarily from the new Beetlejuice Beetlejuice movie,
04:53it is, though, a very iconic scene, specifically, more specifically,
04:57also at the very end of the movie, too,
04:59where Beetlejuice, of course, while waiting in line, sitting down in line,
05:02ends up ultimately just taking off the witch docker and having his head shrunk down in size.
05:07All in all, it's a nice-looking bobblehead.
05:09I certainly hope, though, we do get a lot more Beetlejuice bobbleheads in the near future
05:13from the folks over at Royal Baubles.
05:14As it was, though, mentioning earlier,
05:16two places where you could get your hands on bobbleheads,
05:18if you're interested, add these to your collection,
05:19are bobbleheads.com and amazon.com.
05:22Taking at least that first link, Beetlejuice, the shrunken head bobblehead,
05:26is currently available right now on that site for $31.95.
05:29For that, you're getting a high-end, premium resin bobblehead
05:32that's been carefully hand-painted.
05:34In fact, looking at the piece, there wasn't any paint problems at all.
05:37And generally is the case, whenever we look at the Royal Baubles,
05:40that the attention to detail on these pieces for being a smaller bobblehead is incredible.
05:44Beetlejuice, of course, taken from the last scene,
05:46in which we see the character being in heaven and his head shrunk down in size.
05:50I do hope, though, that this opens the doors for future Beetlejuice,
05:53especially considering now we're getting Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice coming soon to theaters.
05:56I hope that the folks over at Royal Baubles,
05:58seeing what they've done here for Beetlejuice,
06:00could do the same similar job for a Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice series of bobbleheads.
06:04Hey, you never know, we might even get ourselves a sandworm.
06:06Fingers crossed, fingers crossed, we can get ourselves a Royal Baubles sandworm.
