00:00Hello, unsurprisingly after the hottest day of the year so far it is going to be
00:04a very warm night for some of us but all of that is going to change as we head
00:09into the weekend as a weather front is on the way bringing outbreaks of rain
00:13to parts of Northern Ireland, Western Scotland through this evening. Cloud will
00:16also spill into Wales, much of southwest England, potentially some drizzly rain
00:20here as well. Drier elsewhere further east but here is where it's going to be
00:25most humid overnight. Temperatures may not dip much below 20 degrees for some
00:29areas of the southeast but widely we're in the high teens so it is going to be
00:33quite uncomfortable overnight. But as I said a change is on the way as we head
00:38into Saturday that does come at the expense of some wetter weather though
00:42outbreaks of potentially quite heavy rain pushing into the southwest through
00:47Saturday morning. Wales, southwest England could see some localised
00:50flooding, potentially some surface water and that rain will likely push into much
00:55of Scotland by Saturday afternoon. Further east it should stay dry through
00:59the day but the sunshine will return much hazier into the afternoon. However
01:04across the far southeast particularly across parts of East Anglia will still
01:07remain in the high 20s but elsewhere temperatures are much closer to average
01:11for the time of year, a much cooler afternoon compared to Friday for many of
01:16us. Now this rain will continue its journey eastwards through Saturday night
01:19bringing a risk of some heavy bursts of rain particularly across eastern areas
01:23of Scotland, northeastern England. We could also see some heavy showers push
01:26up from the near continent affecting the southeast but that is a fairly low
01:30risk across southeastern areas. Many of us though sticking around with quite a
01:34lot of cloud could still be quite a humid night across the southeast but
01:37elsewhere a much more comfortable night with temperatures much closer to 10 or
01:4211 degrees across western areas and that fresher feel will become more widespread
01:47through Sunday. The rain may take a little while to clear across eastern
01:50areas of England as well as Scotland but once it does there'll be sunny spells
01:54for many of us, potentially some fairly hazy sunshine and there is a risk of the
01:58odd shower spilling in to northwestern areas but for most of us a fairly dry
02:02and fine day and if you're not enjoying the heat it's going to be much more
02:06comfortable through Sunday with temperatures around 20 or 21 degrees
02:10maybe only into the high teens across northwestern areas. Now looking ahead to
02:15next week well unfortunately it does look like we'll see the next low
02:19pressure system bring some further wet weather however there is still a chance
02:23of some summery weather at times through next week but it's worth keeping up to
02:27date with our longer range forecast and you can do that by checking out our
02:30YouTube channel. See you soon, bye bye.
