00:00From U-Tron to Moe 2, here's your look at the massive universe Turtles of Greyskull
00:04Crang Alien Brain in a Megator Android.
00:27In a mad science experiment gone wrong, Crang crosses dimensions and discovers the strongest
00:32power in the universe, the power of Greyskull.
00:35Now with a stronger, faster Megator Android body, Crang will stop at nothing until the
00:39power is his.
00:41Sure yeah, Crang's got ideas, but I doubt Skeletor has taken suggestions from someone
00:45else's stomach.
00:46Just before we get a closer look though at Turtles of Greyskull Crang, the tape measure
00:50is first going to tell us that the figure stands at 8 inches in height, wow this guy's
00:54pretty big, and that translates to a figure that's 20 centimeters tall.
00:59Well I don't have a Skeletor yet, but I do have at least a Shredder.
01:02Here's what the figure looks like with Shredder, and therefore also what a standard mass universe
01:06origins figure body would be.
01:08Crang as you can already see, I mean he's towering over Shredhead, Shredder only goes
01:12to about the bicep or so of the android body.
01:15A couple of larger figures here, here's what the figure looks like though with Ram Man.
01:19Really neat figure, I was a big fan of the Ram Man figure that we've gotten.
01:21In fact, I've actually kind of been more interested, honestly, in the evil bad guys
01:25than I have actually the turtles.
01:27Speaking of which though, just coincidentally enough, here's what the figure looks like
01:30as well with Leonardo, and here's as well what the figure looks like with the mutated
01:33He-Man.
01:34Also, stuff comes in clue with Crang, but one thing the figure doesn't come in clue
01:38with is that he doesn't have a mini comic.
01:41Similar to Slakor that we looked at earlier, the figure instead comes in clue with a big
01:45giant card.
01:46What am I going to do with this card?
01:48Anybody want to throw out some ideas what I can do with this card?
01:50Hang it on the wall!
01:51I'm not going to hang this on the wall, look at the size of this.
01:54Plus as well, I would like to get myself a frame.
01:56I can't think I just put this on the wall the way it is right now.
02:00So sorry, your suggestion for putting it on the wall is being dismissed.
02:03Awww.
02:04On the back of the card, yes, we've got Crang, the alien brain in a Megator android,
02:11mutagen master powers.
02:12Crang, genius alien warlord, master strategist and tactician, Dimension X gadgets and tech.
02:19Megator on the other hand is giant strength in an android body, grows to giant size and
02:24weapon augmentation.
02:26Pretty cool.
02:27Still not going to put it on the wall though.
02:28Awww.
02:29Put it off to the side though instead.
02:32The figure also comes included with a little pamphlet guide and while you think for a second,
02:35there's no way you can swap the parts out.
02:37You can, can swap the parts out.
02:39The head, the arms, the lower abdomen area, the trunks as well as the lower boots can
02:44all be swapped out with other Motu figures.
02:47Put it off to the side.
02:49The figure also comes included.
02:50Of course, if you're going to be looking at Crang, you have to as well be looking at
02:53Crang himself.
02:54Crang comes included.
02:55He's quite a little small sized Crang really.
02:58I mean, if you're looking at him and then you're looking at the scale of what the giant
03:01android body would be, Crang is just tiny.
03:03It looks like he's actually made of like a very soft material that I could best describe
03:06as chewing gum.
03:08Perhaps this was a wad of someone's gum they just spit to the floor.
03:11Awww.
03:12Come on.
03:13Head scope looks good though.
03:15The thing unfortunately about Crang is while he looks good from the front, there's a whole
03:18lot of emptiness on the back and I'm not just mean from a literal sense.
03:21I guess I am mean from a literal sense.
03:23A lot of emptiness going on the inside as well.
03:25He's got dark pasts, dark pasts in his life.
03:29Anyways, the closer look to his face does reveal, as you can see, they've painted each
03:32of the individual teeth, all six of them.
03:34They've also painted as well his eyes, but yeah, again, like there's not a whole lot
03:38going on for the back.
03:39The whole idea obviously is the fact that you're going to put it inside his stomach.
03:42The figure also comes included not only with a ball and chain, but also as well an axe.
03:47While the ball and chain is very much dedicated to the idea of swapping out the hands, so
03:51you're really not going to be able to hold this on its own.
03:53There's no way, like for example, if you took the figure's hands, yeah, I mean, if they
03:57had only made this long enough, then it could also serve as an actual weapon he could wield.
04:02But with the peg being as small as it is, there's no way, there's no way you're going
04:05to be able to get this in his hand.
04:06I mean, you can get it in there almost, but I guess if you wanted to, you can kind of
04:09just balance it on the floor like that.
04:11I say floor, obviously I just mean backdrop.
04:14If you have it like that, sure, okay.
04:16You can convince, I'm sure, the people that aren't in the know that the guy is actually
04:20holding his ball and chain, when in reality, I know, you all know, even the kid that was
04:24just disappointed a while ago, all know there's no real way that he can actually hold the
04:29chain legitimately, legitimately.
04:32He does also, however, come included with an axe.
04:34The axe though can, however, be held.
04:37So unlike though the ball and chain, you could take this and you can fit in his hands.
04:41Now he has two gripping hands.
04:42It's just obviously a case of kind of have to get the axe and just wedge it in between
04:46there.
04:47And sometimes doing this though, let's just put the figure down here for a second.
04:50Things just start to fall apart on him.
04:52You know what?
04:53We'll put this on his hand first, just to show you guys that unlike the ball and chain,
04:56it can actually fit into his hands.
04:58Get it in there, get it in there.
05:00Here we go.
05:01There we go.
05:02While you're doing this as well, make sure you don't lose these ringlets.
05:05If you lose them, oh boy, you're in a world of hurt.
05:08Just plug that in his hand like that.
05:10You can see, yeah, he's holding the axe fine, fine and good.
05:13But what you could do as well, thinking outside the box, is that you can also as well remove
05:18his hands, which I've already kind of started to do with this one side.
05:21Just go ahead and remove the hand.
05:23You can keep really the ringlet in place.
05:25You don't have to remove his little tiny bracelets.
05:28Just take the axe, plug it in the one side.
05:31And I did notice though, when you are putting it into the holes, that you really have to
05:35kind of make sure it's twisted all the way in there because it is, it seems to be falling
05:38out frequently on me.
05:40Not on me, but you get the idea.
05:42Then of course, we're going to do the same thing on the other side as well.
05:44Just twist the hands from the peg.
05:46This hand really of the two was the harder one to remove.
05:49Take the bow and chain.
05:50Now, it doesn't have to be on this side.
05:52It doesn't have to be this configuration.
05:53You'd like to have it the other way around.
05:55You can do it the other way around.
05:56And now Krang is displayed with both melee weapons attached onto the ends of his forearms.
06:02How about that?
06:03Likely going to be the way I'm going to be displaying the figure.
06:05I just think it, it looks so much neater.
06:07The fact that Krang is also as well as someone that can augment his body.
06:11So obviously the idea with him being able to change his limbs out for other weapons
06:14makes perfect sense in this guy's eyes.
06:18If you did though want to, I'm going to just remove the weapons for right now.
06:21I'm going to put his hands back in place.
06:23I'm sure though, as we jumped to the final looks, the figure obviously look on the turntable,
06:28the figure is probably going to have those weapons back on the sockets.
06:31You can count on me.
06:32I'll do it.
06:33I won't let you guys down.
06:35I'm going to put the hand back in place.
06:36There we go.
06:37I want to again, make sure it's all the way on there.
06:38I don't know.
06:39These hands seem to fight with me the whole time.
06:42Could be all the moisturizer that I've also used on my hands.
06:44Why did I have to put so much moisturizer on my hands?
06:46It's just because I wanted to have soft, supple skin for this review.
06:51Nobody says soft, supple skin.
06:53I say soft, supple skin.
06:54Anyways, though, getting a closer look at Krang's body.
06:57The one other thing I did change out of the packaging was that actually this part right
07:00here was a separate piece.
07:02For all intents and purposes, if you wanted to, these of course can be mixed and matched
07:06with other Master Universe figures.
07:09Even this one, even this actually can be swapped out as well.
07:12But if you did though want to, I don't know why you would, but you could choose really
07:15to have the figure without the middle torso piece added.
07:19And with that, the size comparison seems a little bit more close to the Shredder.
07:23I mean, he's still going to be taller than Shredder, yeah, but it doesn't look as much
07:27a big of a giant when you compare them along with Shredder this way.
07:31Funny though enough, you could also, going back to the whole idea of this, I know we
07:34haven't yet put Krang inside of this.
07:36If you wanted to, I'm sure anyone is throwing out the questions right now, can you swap
07:40these out?
07:41Can you add these with other Turtles?
07:42Well, you can.
07:44Just pop that in place.
07:45Take the top torso here of Shredder.
07:48This would be not the kind of relationship Shredder's been hoping for this whole time.
07:51That Krang is now, well, Krang's over here.
07:53Shredder!
07:54Krang is over here, Shredder's right here.
07:57But yeah, you could really, if you wanted to, you could use the Krang middle compartments
08:00space.
08:01A little, you know, like cat carrier here.
08:03You could also have this displayed and mixed and matched with other Motu figures if you
08:07wanted to.
08:09I think Shredder has been embarrassed, what, three, four reviews now?
08:13Let's put him off to the side right now.
08:14But if you did want to, now that we have the cat carrier here, if you did want to, you
08:18could put Krang inside.
08:19Obviously, you're just going to open up the, now there is a little lip right here.
08:23I find, honestly, the lip is very difficult to kind of grab onto, especially if you just
08:26recently trimmed my nails.
08:28I trimmed my nails.
08:29I also added, again, all the moisturizer, just so I could look a little presentable
08:31for all you guys.
08:32But it results in me having a harder time to open this.
08:35Don't worry.
08:36Just take your finger in there and that makes things a whole lot easier.
08:38Remember the whole empty chasm on the back of Krang's body?
08:42Well, there's a reasoning for that.
08:43That just plugs in place.
08:45And you can do a couple of things here with Krang as well.
08:47You could have like his hands facing forward like this.
08:50But honestly, though, the way they've illustrated on the back, it's also just squishing his
08:54poor hands together.
08:55It probably makes more sense to have them actually sticking out the sides.
08:59So you just have to kind of line Krang's arms out, fit them in on one side.
09:04I'm only doing it, one hand really is the one that you have to kind of worry about the
09:07most.
09:08The other hand, you basically just guide into.
09:10There we go.
09:11Snap the quarter shut.
09:12And now you got Krang inside.
09:14You got Krang inside the little mid abdomen area.
09:17Then, of course, from there, you're going to go ahead and take yourself the Krang body,
09:20open that back up, take Krang, pop him back in place, take the top of the torso, snap
09:25that in place as well.
09:26That wasn't the plastic.
09:27That was my mouth.
09:28See?
09:29It was me.
09:30Getting, though, a closer look now at Krang.
09:31I love the idea that they took the robot version of Krang and they found a way to make it into
09:36a Motu style.
09:37It kind of looks like the, was it the Gamorrean guard from Return of the Jedi?
09:42The guy that's guarding Jabba's palace?
09:44Looks a little bit like him.
09:45I love the way they've sculpted the visor.
09:46You've got this neat looking helmet there as well and a little tuft of hair on the top.
09:50The tuft of hair, if you're curious, does have posability.
09:53Anybody was on the edge of their seat?
09:55Geez, I really hope, I really hope that hair has some posability.
09:58It does.
09:59But again, like there's some decent posability.
10:02We're going to talk more about that in a moment.
10:04Krang does have, of course, the chains wrapped around.
10:07I love the way they kept the colors consistent.
10:09So he's kind of got like, for this middle abdomen area, it's kind of a rock sculpting
10:13and then they've just carried the rusted coloring for the chain all around the front of his
10:17body as well.
10:18So it looks like he's kind of wearing suspenders.
10:20Neat deco they've also done here for the front.
10:22I suppose they probably could have used something more similar to a Dimension X rather than
10:27just a simple skull.
10:28I don't know.
10:29The skull seems like it just doesn't really fit well with the kind of motif of Krang.
10:33I know again, like he's part of Motu country now and of course, teaming up with Skeletor,
10:38he's probably taken a few influences from Skeletor.
10:40I don't know.
10:41I just think that that would have worked a little bit better if something from Dimension
10:43X instead.
10:44There's Krang down below here.
10:45Of course, just below that, he's also got himself an additional chain, a loincloth and
10:49some decently sculpted boots.
10:51The boots, the hands and also as well, the helmet are this really bright, I would best
10:55describe it as a fluorescent pink highlighter.
10:59I'm sure they still make like a four pack sets.
11:02There's always like the green, there's that really ugly looking pink and then there's
11:06the yellow.
11:07I guess that would be a three pack.
11:08It kind of looks like the red highlighter, which usually is the one I go to because it
11:11reminds me of Bret the Hitman heart.
11:13Head sculpt again, really good.
11:14I've really again, nice looking figure and I like the fact he's also big too.
11:17This isn't a figure that they need to skimp on plastic.
11:20He needs to be big.
11:21He needs to be bulky.
11:22He needs to certainly be taller than Shredder and Krang checks all of those boxes.
11:27For the figure's articulation, Krang's head's going to be on a ball joint.
11:30I keep continuing to call this Krang.
11:31I know it is really technically the android body.
11:34The Megator does have upper torso, up header, up head articulation.
11:38You can also rock it back and forth and yeah, you can rotate all the way around.
11:42For those that were on the edge of their seat, the hair, stop that.
11:47The hair does rotate all the way around.
11:49The waist swivels not only here, but also swivels down below here as well.
11:54The arms do hinge out at 90 degrees.
11:55No problems there.
11:56You can take as well the arms, rotate them all the way around, all the way around.
12:00I think if also you were deciding to make yourself some custom figures, I mean, again,
12:04you can pop the arms off here.
12:05I haven't done this yet for Krang.
12:06Just pop the arms off.
12:07You probably get yourself a much larger arm if you want to make yourself like an Incredible
12:10Hulk.
12:11Although I don't think Incredible Hulk would have the little bracelets, but you could also
12:14as well take those always off.
12:16Put that back in place.
12:18The figure does have a swivel in his arm, just below his bicep.
12:21Single hinge in the elbow.
12:22Hands rotate all the way around if you decide to display the figure with the hands.
12:26The legs split.
12:27They're on ball joints.
12:28You can take the legs and move forward only just a little bit because the loincloth does
12:31get in the way of things.
12:32Swivel at the top of the thigh.
12:34Single hinge only in the knee.
12:36Rotation there.
12:37A rotation in the boots.
12:38Ankle pivot up and down and ankle rocker as well.
12:42Peggles on the underside of the figure's feet, just in case you are curious.
12:45And there you have Krang.
12:47Krang looking quite good, quite big, quite bulky in his Megator body.
12:50One last time.
12:51Even though we've embarrassed him more than enough, here's what the figure as well looks
12:54like with Shredder.
12:55Still got to get my hands on, I mean, I am behind.
12:57I am behind getting all these figures.
12:59Still need to get myself a Skeletor.
13:01We have now just recently seen, there's new Hordak.
13:03Hordak with wings.
13:04He looks pretty cool as well.
13:06But you know, again, I also want to thank Daryl.
13:08Daryl hooked me up.
13:09In fact, he's actually hooked me up on a couple of MOTU reviews as of late.
13:13He was able to find actually Krang, because I haven't had any luck finding this guy in
13:16the wild.
13:17Finally now have him in my collection and Krang looks good.
13:20He looks good with Shredder, whether you have Shredder or you just skipped right over Shredhead
13:24in favor of Skeletor and wanted to get Hordak.
13:27I like that he's big.
13:28I like that he's bulky.
13:29I like surprisingly as well that he's green.
13:30I don't miss the fact that he's not that kind of beige, kind of creamish color that the
13:34Megator body generally would have been in the past.
13:37It's an all in all nice looking Krang.
13:39One that I'm really now welcoming into my collection as I would say probably one of
13:44my favorites so far that we've gotten from the Turtles of Greyskull line.
13:47When first we were teased by android body Krang inside one of the mini comics that came
13:51included with the Turtles of Greyskull figures, I knew it was a figure that not only was I
13:54hoping that Mattel would eventually release, but then the point came when they would release
13:59it, it was a figure I knew I had to have in my collection.
14:02Having now checked off both, Mattel did produce it, obviously the proof is in the pudding,
14:05and now finally having it in hand, Krang doesn't disappoint in the slightest.
14:09He is though I think going to be a little bit more expensive, now again I can only base
14:13that from what the price I paid for this figure was a little bit more than a regular MOTU
14:16figure, but well worth the price to finally get this guy in all his giant size.
14:21The thing that's neat about him is that like other MOTU figures, there's components to
14:24his, like his limbs, his lower half of his body can all be detached, can all be replaced,
14:29so if you did want to have him literally joined at the hips, the shredder, you can do that
14:33as well.
14:34The Krang though body obviously is going to work the best if he actually has a little
14:38cat carrier holding Krang inside his mid-abdomen area, but the idea that you could remove it
14:42is a nice touch on Mattel's part, and of course the fact that he does have augmentation means
14:47that you can do away with the hands that he has right now, or the hands he had before,
14:51in favor of now the ball and chain, and as well the big giant axe, definitely gonna be
14:55the way I'm displaying the figure.
14:57For the figure that he is, the size that he is, he still packs all the same posability
15:01as your standard MOTU figure, he just happens to have now the benefit of a big giant alien
15:06Krang body inside his body.
15:08Oh, what a nice looking figure this is.
15:11If you've had the chance to get Krang, you already know how good of a figure he is, if
15:14you haven't yet picked him up, I would definitely recommend it.
15:17What do you guys think of him?
15:18Is this a figure you guys could see yourselves adding to your collection?
15:21And admittingly though, while I have been sort of, I don't know, just lukewarm to picking
15:25up the Turtles, you may notice already, I haven't really picked up any other Turtles
15:28than the ones that we've already had a look at on this channel, that being Leonardo, that
15:31being Donatello, still omitted is Raphael and Michelangelo.
15:35So I'm sure at some point I'll get around to it, but I didn't want to get around to
15:38getting Krang, that was a figure that was on my top of my list and I'm really happy
15:42now to have him.
15:43Well, if you guys did enjoy this video, why not throw it a like?
15:46Why not?
15:47You're here, you're doing things anyways, want to do the next thing of hitting a like.
15:50The next thing you can also do as well, if you are new to this channel and you want to
15:53stick around for more, I certainly hope that you will.
15:55Just an FYI, phui, if you will, there's going to be some MOTU figure reviews coming your
16:00way, not necessarily Turtles of Greyskull, but I will tell you though, there's going
16:03to be some Masters of the Universe stuff coming your way this week.
16:09Just to lure you guys in hopefully, hit that subscribe, turn on the bell, come back please.
16:14As always guys, thanks for watching.
16:15See you guys next time.
