00:00Previously on The Apprentice, the candidates set out to sell the latest Trump venture.
00:04I've decided to open up a water distribution company.
00:10Trumpite!
00:12That's a lot of Trumpite.
00:13Even though Heidi's mother was diagnosed with cancer, Heidi's courage inspired Protege.
00:19I think we need to dedicate our effort and task tomorrow to your mom.
00:22Aw, thank you.
00:24And Omarosa continued working despite being bumped on the head.
00:27How's your noggin?
00:28Are you actually used to the pain now?
00:30I think I've been a trooper throughout the situation.
00:32At Versacor, project manager Erica fell apart in front of Carolyn.
00:37Erica had a slight problem with organizing the papers.
00:39I'm really upset, guys.
00:40She was extremely flustered.
00:42Just panicking.
00:42She did it in front of Carolyn, which I think was not a smooth move.
00:45And Versacor came up short.
00:47Carolyn?
00:48Well, I'm afraid our group didn't do as well.
00:50Erica was honest with Nick and Bill about who she would take into the boardroom.
00:54I'm taking you and Bill.
00:55It's not personal.
00:56It's not anything personal.
00:57Just because you preface something and say it's not personal doesn't necessarily mean it isn't.
01:01And the men stuck together.
01:03Who would you fire of the two, Bill?
01:04My problem with Erica was that many of my ideas were dismissed.
01:08You think Erica should be fired?
01:10Yes, I do.
01:10Who do you think, Nick, did the worst job?
01:12Erica.
01:13Erica.
01:13You never had a strong game plan.
01:16You were frantic under pressure.
01:17Don't say it, Mr. Trump.
01:19You're fired.
01:20Eight candidates are left.
01:22Who will be fired this week?
01:27Money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money

02:14Money, money, money, money, money, money, money
02:22I
02:38Supported Erica against the guys and the guys then turned on us and it was like so it's guys versus girls
02:44I
02:47Really I really really really don't think so. That was a bad move. She probably should have brought miss me and Katrina in there
02:54Probably would have worked out better. You know, I don't think Nick gave it quick Eric enough, but I don't think Bill gave Eric enough
03:00I
03:23Think Omarosa is quite happy now because Eric was gone
03:26Which makes me sick to my stomach considering the fact that Omarosa should be the one gone that Erica
03:30Wow
03:35Was you okay it was it was not pleasant it was bad it was bad. She wouldn't shake our hands when she walked. Oh
03:44Erica was one person that I stood by because I believed in what she stood for
03:48Now it's really all about the game and the job
03:50I told her I was like Eric take me in with you take me and when you take me when you take she would have
03:54Taken you in right? I would have been fired
03:57Yeah, 100% I'm a little annoyed she didn't shake Bill's hand me I don't care but Bill's a nice guy she wouldn't shake my hand
04:19Hi, it's mr. Trump's office. He wants you to meet him on the steps of the Metropolitan Museum in one hour. Thank you
04:26I
04:51Okay, we're gonna start by evening out the teams
04:54Versatile you people have gotten clobbered. So that means you're gonna have to make a choice
04:59You're gonna have to choose somebody from protege. Who's your team captain?
05:04Nick again, you're gonna have to start winning Nick. I know you're losing a lot. I know. All right, who do you choose?
05:11We're gonna take Amy welcome home
05:16Don't you think you're giving Amy a little too much power
05:20Absolutely, I would have never chosen Amy
05:22Ever maybe what you're telling me is I should just give her the job right now
05:26I think you made a mistake, but if you want to take Amy that's okay with me
05:32Now behind me is one of the great
05:36institutions of the world the Metropolitan Museum of Art
05:39You're going to be given a choice from a group of young emerging brilliant artists
05:46Each team is going to choose an artist
05:49you're then going to take this artist to a gallery in Manhattan and you're going to sell his paintings and
05:56As always George and Carolyn will be observing you throughout the task the team that comes up with the most money
06:03For the art wins. This is a tough one because what makes good art is entirely subjective
06:10There is no set market value. So you really need to think this one through
06:15Good luck. I
06:18Was nominated the night before to be project manager
06:21And so I knew the challenge was gonna be very different because art is very subjective
06:25And it's not something that you can kind of push as a normal product and it's gonna be all about really which artists we choose
06:37When we walked into Giles I thought okay, here's this quintessential New York artist with splatter against the wall and he calls it art
06:45But this guy had a different edge. Yeah, you know, I don't normally allow this
06:48But if you get up close and touch it particularly here, for example
06:51If you run your finger over this these mounds start out as hair in my paint
06:58He wanted to insert his DNA into each of his pieces
07:01so essentially he's like shaving under his arms and his legs and put hair droppings and
07:07Tonal clippings in his artwork. Every painting is
07:11authenticated by genetic materials
07:15I've been here for 10 minutes and I've already connected with your world. Well, you know, you gotta touch his work
07:27What I choose to work with Amarosa up in the real world absolutely not I I don't I don't agree with her style
07:31She doesn't agree with my style. I don't like her technique. Some people might find it offensive if I for one is like, oh my god
07:36I
07:43Think I'm Katrina pleasure to meet you from the minute I walked in
07:48I knew that Andre was the man and I really really felt strongly about him and his work. I'm a nature-based abstract painter
07:57Sometimes the background could look like the inside of an old cave right and on top of it some really gestural
08:04effects
08:05What we like is he was very sincere his beautiful artwork and he was basically
08:10Explaining it to me who doesn't know much about art and I think that would be a real selling point
08:15I'm not using any trickery. I'm using good old paint and I'm weaving up a story with it
08:21Gotcha in a very intelligent sophisticated way. I like it. I like the way you explain it and everything. That's phenomenal
08:29The next artist we saw was Leah. She's a cute little Italian girl who lived in Brooklyn worked out of her house
08:35Basically she painted
08:37snapshots of her life
08:39Love it already for people who don't know so much about artists
08:43But you know, they can easily relate to the photograph you look at it and you like it or you don't I personally loved
08:49Leah's work. I thought it was fun. And I thought that she'd be successful. I love it
08:53I
09:07First walked into Megan's apartment. I was so excited. I mean, I thought her apartment was amazing. She seemed passionate
09:13I mean, she seemed a little creepy
09:14This is a series called psyche and smut and it's about a young girl psyche and her twin sister smut
09:22And psyche is this very prim and proper pinafore little girl and smut is this rather aberrant
09:28Naughty little girl and by the way, the city is ruled by frogs and their concubines
09:34She has a lot of different genre and has this weird kind of theme going on
09:43I don't know if our customers are like it
09:45But I'll tell you what
09:46She's a homerun hit because her average price per item is 4,000 bucks where everybody else's average price is only
09:531,500 bucks and what's the average price point of one of your pieces? I would say about 4,000
09:59What we liked about Megan was Megan's got 20 pieces. We knew her work was extreme
10:03We knew it was risque
10:04But we looked at her price points and her ability to deliver if we sell three to four of Megan's work
10:09We're gonna win this easily and the price point on these pieces
10:137,000
10:16These are great
10:24You've got to believe in what you're selling if you don't believe it if you don't really believe it yourself
10:29It'll never work. It'll never sell and you're gonna be miserable
10:43It
10:45Comes down to Megan and Leah
10:48Five minutes we need to make a decision. All right, so let's just discuss go ahead
10:51I think Megan has her together. She's weird as hell, but I'm not an artist aficionado, so I don't really care about them
10:58She's risky if she can get the people out
11:00She says that she can get out and we can get more if she doesn't we're gonna be we're gonna be like at zero
11:05I didn't come on this game to be you know practical
11:08I had a nice job on Wall Street an easy life
11:11I said I had my whole life to be ordinary and one chance to be extraordinary
11:14I took the same philosophy when it came to being project manager on this task and making the critical decision as to which artists
11:20We're gonna go with you're absolutely right. We'll be taking a calculated risk. I'll take two positions the first
11:26I have some concerns about going with Megan. I will tell you that the medieval artwork
11:33It's just flat out like I could never explain
11:36From an art perspective, I'm just giving you the arts perspective you all can do the numbers
11:40I have big concerns with Megan Leah love her. She's got a great product. She got something. That's whimsical
11:47That's from an artistic perspective
11:49You cannot look at this task in an artistic way if you do you're screwed
11:53You have to look this as a business task and to be honest
11:56I don't think mr. Trump gives a rat's ass about the art
11:58He wants to see you can make the most money. That's what we do
12:05Have to break it down that way tomorrow Megan's the only one's gonna drive in the numbers that we need to win
12:10That's my whole spiel
12:12Good spiel
12:13Kwame you wanted to take this major risk and this was just not the task to do it
12:17The art world is very finicky and I informed him of that
12:23We are officially selecting me
12:26Let's take a risk. We got a break risk on three
12:29One two three
12:33I'm gonna sell the frog smoking opium
12:44Andre's established. He has a client base does he has two pieces that are practically already sold. He's been in New York for 35
12:51so much
12:53Here they are
12:54So it's between Andre and Leah. What do you say?
12:57I mean, they're two totally different artists
13:00Leah's stuff it's paintings of her and her friends at the beach and it picnics like that
13:07It's pretty unique painting bill and Amy
13:10wanted Leah and
13:12I didn't get to see her work and quite frankly from just from hearing about it
13:16I didn't think it was the way to go. This is like a critical decision. We're making here. We need to make a decision
13:21Amy, what do you say?
13:24I support the team, but I think I'd go with Leah
13:27I'll call you right back
13:29I'm making an executive decision at this point. I think Andre's the man and
13:34You know, either we knock the cover off the ball or we strike out
13:38All right, Nick. What's going on? I already made a decision. He's Andre what?
13:45I think it's a good move. Wait, can we can we pick Leah or is it too late to pick Leah?
13:49No, it's too late. It's done. I
13:52Think it's important to choose a good artist in my opinion
13:56That was a very critical decision to be made but Nick made an executive decision to go with Andre and we had to stick with
14:01It yeah, I just have a sick pit in my stomach because I'm not feeling really comfortable with the decision
14:21How are you
14:23How are you?
14:24Team protege was up around 7 o'clock this morning
14:28Kwame and Troy we're going to head out handing out invitations
14:32Heidi and I had the task of working with the artists at the gallery so that we can hang her art and make the exhibit
14:39Success. Okay. So should we get going unpack the work?
14:45Heidi it's George
14:48Megan booty, okay
14:50So, how did you pick out this artist our thought is that she had an extensive following already and we needed to build a crowd
14:56That would be more likely to purchase her art and she it's just been so cooperative and that's why we select
15:02Yeah, she I think that art is a business and art is very subjective
15:07But I'm Arosa characterized the art that you picked out is somewhat provocative which is really a gamble one way or the other
15:13But it's as a business gamble
15:15Thank you for stopping by George
15:17See you later
15:19But for instance are these two faces with the blood dripping down what's that supposed to represent?
15:24It's about reconciling oneself with that dark territory and align yourself with it
15:30Because when you finally harness those forces then you're stronger
15:37Okay, I asked Megan about the artwork
15:40I want to know the story behind it because you need to know about the product before you sell it
15:44I have some crazy nightmares last night. I'm like, yeah, they were weird. I'm now I'm just remembering. Hey artwork
15:50Barbara's
15:52Barbara's freaky. It's weird. But you know what? I'm just gonna sell it and learn to like it
15:58Bye Megan. We'll see you later
16:00Thank you. Thank you. My head is killing me. I've got to eat something
16:04The thing about it is I can't wait for 20 minutes. My head is killing me right now
16:09You want to grab a sandwich right there the vending
16:14Hey, Tommy, no, we don't time to sit down for two hours. No, I'd like to sit down if that's okay. We do have the time
16:24Then tell Tommy I'm sorry, I can't run like this with a concussion I need to take my time and take care of myself
16:31Well, so what I mean, this is ridiculous
16:34She always has a headache when it's a task time, but when it's reward time, she never has a headache
16:39She's an absolute lunatic bitch
16:44Okay, you guys figure out the eating thing and we'll move forward
17:00I don't sit down with you at all and try to play the game. Why do you don't scare me? I'm Marissa
17:06I can get to you about you
17:09Heidi has a trash mouth and I just was not going to be on the receiving end of it and I made it very clear to
17:14Her she needs to clean up her act and shut her mouth
17:17You know you want I can't stand you
17:21Wine and complain bitch bitch, bitch
17:24Don't really take anything that Heidi says to heart at all. I mean look at the source. All right. Thanks. I'm Rosa. Talk to you later
17:33My head
17:36Dude it's my head and if I don't get some catered service pretty quick. All right, I'm calling the president
17:43Heidi and Omarosa are never gonna change Heidi doesn't gel well with Omarosa and Omarosa
17:49Doesn't want to put forth the effort. It keeps the team on an emotional rollercoaster
18:05You need a separate one of those blind take the idea six to seven Amy and I are gonna do greeting food and beverage, right?
18:10It's pretty limited who's gonna come in and actually buy you're talking about getting someone to come in here and spend
18:15$4,000 on a painting. There aren't too many people that I know that show up that kind of money on paintings. I certainly don't
18:22Come on, baby. Let them come
18:24They said the first hour is always slow
18:27So I'm worried should I change my shirt to black you think that makes a difference? No, even when things
18:32Look like they're in shambles
18:34You can never ever let anybody see that you're concerned because once they see the leader the head of the things cracking
18:41They no longer believe
18:45You'll be all right, I don't think we'll be all right
18:51Two things I just want to let you know about tonight is one
18:53It's studio price and second thing he will hang the artwork and light it for you
18:58So what is your price range?
19:00I didn't think but I mean I would love to own one of those be okay
19:03Well number one, let's go to number one. I went over to this young lady and she really liked the personal attention
19:09We gave her bought the painting on the spot. You got a deal
19:13Absolutely, it's very nice to be it. I'll write this up right now
19:16Once those all that painting I knew it was gonna be a great night. I want you to buy me that one
19:23You want to buy me the one I want?
19:25By the painting tonight
19:28By the painting tonight if you're ever considering buying a piece, I think tonight's the night, you know what I sold your painting
19:37You yeah
19:39Don number 11 10% discount
19:45Great job, man. Really? I'm really happy. I'm very happy for you. This whole competition is
19:50Not about marketing. It's not about real estate backgrounds. It's not about MBAs
19:57It's about leading people. Why do employees come to work every day because they believe in something I bring energy
20:05Enthusiasm and a sense that is everything is gonna be okay, and then we're gonna win
20:20Welcome to making booties show
20:23To meet you
20:31Everything fell into place at the gallery and we're very excited. Everything looks fabulous and I feel very confident
20:38We're gonna sell lots of art today
20:40Again, her thought process is far beyond my comprehension
20:45Just a little in the windows the snake in the grass
20:48Over there the skull of Henry they I mean she is amazing
20:54All right, I mean if you want to hit me at my weak spot that you found my Achilles heel because
21:00This old kid doesn't know nothing about art. Not a darn thing
21:04Now, you know what that picture is. What it is is everybody wants a virgin outside of the bedroom. Everybody wants a whore
21:19I've seen a genius in her. Okay, her and Heidi
21:22really are not into art and
21:25It's kind of funny to hear them talk about it because they really have no appreciation for this particular genre
21:31And so they seem to be fished out of water
21:36She takes a picture and then it's all digitalized so it's really like unique artwork. It's not your typical painting
21:44But did you see that I have to show you though
21:48Okay, you ready?
21:49Someone comes into your house. You got a toilet tank here. What do you do?
21:54It's different
22:00Art is it's all subjective. It's how you see it. This is a cast-iron fireplace cover
22:07So what I made a mistake, I didn't know I'm gonna sell it as a toilet bowl
22:11Look like a damn toilet bowl to me. I messed up on some pictures
22:14I messed up on the toilet seat, but hell that looks like a damn toilet seat if I ever saw one
22:20Troy
22:23What's that did you sell anything?
22:29Going for the clothes and it's like yeah, I'm trying to sell this and I'm doing my damnedest and
22:35This lady who put up her art gallery for us to use Madeline. She said it the best
22:40You guys have MBAs or whatever and she's an artist
22:54I'm keeping the faith. We have another two and a half hours
22:56And hopefully we have some people who are getting more and more interested and hopefully we can sell a few of these big pieces
23:00I think it only takes two to three pieces for us to win
23:03Very different art. It's very esoteric. It's very tailored to a different
23:08Very small group of people I took my time and I did what people do in our galleries
23:14I allow the patron to explore the piece and to express to me their interest and once they'd express their interest
23:20That's when I zeroed in on the South. The only thing we have it's not even provocative is
23:27Is a picture of a cat or a picture of a little girl standing alone?
23:33Essentially we introduced her to a piece called the hollowed pussy
23:38I actually photographed this in a taxidermist's studio in Paris
23:45It's not quite clear if this is an undead kitty or not
23:51And it went for $869. Thank you very much. You're welcome. I enjoyed meeting you. I appreciate that. Thank you so much. You're welcome. Thank you. Thank you.
24:00I hope we can sell one more piece because
24:02$869 is cutting it close given that the other team probably played a more of a volume game. So we'll see
24:08We'll see. Fun edge
24:39How you doing folks morning, so before we hear the results
24:44I have a few questions to ask who chose the artist on the two teams who was responsible primarily
24:49We went to go see a few artists and then in the end we were pressed for a decision
24:52So I made a decision we were torn between the we were torn who was against you
24:57Oh, no, nobody was really against you
24:59I was particularly fond of one artist and decided that we were gonna go with them
25:02Oh, no, nobody was really against you
25:03I was particularly fond of one artist and decided that we were gonna go with them
25:07I was for Leah initially as well as Bill but as soon as we made the decision we were ready to go
25:12Were you happy with your artist?
25:13Yes, extremely happy
25:15Good talent?
25:16Amazing
25:17Talent or salesmanship? What do you think?
25:19Both
25:20Nick you went against the advice of your team and went with your gut. Let's see if it paid off
25:25Kwame who picked your artist?
25:27We chose our artist as a team. We came down to a vote
25:29We actually went with a high-risk artist with a high price point
25:32Why did you choose the artist?
25:33We decided that because of our limited knowledge in the art world
25:36Her average price point was higher than all the rest of the of the artists
25:40So we looked at it from a pure number standpoint
25:42Okay
25:43Kwame were you happy with the artist?
25:45We actually really never liked the artist's work
25:48But we felt that the artist had a ready-made fan following that she could turn out quickly
25:52That she could just really turn the switch
25:53Did you like the artist? Heidi?
25:55Her artwork? No, I wasn't particularly fond of it
25:58Alright, Carolyn, what are the numbers?
26:00It looks like Versacorps, which is Nick's group, sold $13,600 and they sold 8 pieces
26:08I think it's the first time I've sold Nick's mom
26:12Go ahead, George
26:13Protégé, it sold one piece for $869
26:18Wow, that's awful
26:20That's getting creamed
26:22Yes, it is
26:24They loved their product, they loved their artist
26:27They loved everything they were doing and they killed you
26:30You tried to sell something that you didn't believe in
26:33You didn't like your product
26:35And you'll never be successful selling a product that you don't like and don't believe in
26:40And that was your biggest mistake
26:42Alright, Nick, as project manager of the winning team
26:45This is your chance to impress me one-on-one
26:48So as a reward, you have 10 minutes with me
26:51You know, a lot of people would like that opportunity
26:53So take advantage of it
26:55Protégé, I'll see you back at the boardroom, folks
26:58Where somebody has to get fired
27:13Hello, I have an appointment with Mr. Trump
27:16I knew I needed to win, otherwise I would have been fired
27:18I was the project manager, I needed to make a decision
27:21And I stuck with my gut
27:23And I chose Andre and it wound up being the right one
27:28Come on in, Nick
27:29How are you?
27:30Come on in
27:32Sit over here, beautiful
27:34Oh my goodness, this is beautiful
27:35Basically what I wanted to do in that meeting with Mr. Trump was just ask him
27:39You know, what do you see or what are you looking for in a young executive coming up?
27:44Well, it's energy
27:45I mean, assuming the brain, number one is the brain
27:47Sure
27:48But you need the energy
27:49If you don't have the energy, forget it
27:51Now, you have energy, you have a lot of energy
27:53It's an honor
27:54So
27:55Can we...
27:56Yeah, come on
27:57Let me show you around a little bit
27:59Now, Mr. Trump, do you have a mentor that you learned from?
28:02Is there a few people or is it just one?
28:04Well, I think to me, my father was my mentor
28:07I mean, I learned more from my father than anybody else
28:09Okay
28:10See, these are pictures
28:11This is a picture of my mother in her last years
28:16And this is my father in his prime
28:18Great people
28:19He stressed the importance of the relationship with his mom and his dad
28:23Without a good support system and a close family, you really, you can't do anything
28:28I think there's a connection
28:29I think he can see me running one of his organizations
28:32You just keep it going
28:33I will
28:34You just keep it going
28:35You're doing well
28:36Even when you in theory weren't doing well, I thought you were doing well
28:39Thank you
28:40I think you have a certain spirit
28:41Regardless of how this turns out, I think you're going to be very successful
28:43The main goal is to be working for you
28:45You have fun
28:46Thank you very much, I appreciate it
28:47Very nice to be with you
29:05Hey mom, how you doing?
29:07I know, I figured you would need treatment
29:10Just so you know, the next year is going to be rough for you
29:12Are the doctors optimistic?
29:14My mom is doing well, knock on wood
29:17She's still in the hospital now
29:18And they're just doing extra tests on Tuesday just to make sure
29:21I know, I just hope that
29:22You are at the best doctor, right?
29:25Are you at the best doctor?
29:26I mean definitely the game has changed
29:28I want to do this for my mom
29:29That's why I say I'm not compromising my ethics or values on this
29:33I love you, love you, love you
29:35I know
29:37I'll do anything for you
29:38I love you
29:39Bye
29:45Okay, bail him off
29:46Kwame is absolutely taking me to the boardroom
29:48I'm prepared if he takes me, he takes me
29:50I think he'll take me and Troy
29:51I truly do
29:52Or for strategic reasons, he might pin me and Amoroso against each other
29:56I always like watching Troy go from one person to the next
30:00I couldn't stand Heidi to Chazzo and their best friends
30:04Yesterday, Kwame and I worked very closely together
30:07He insisted on doing something with Kwame
30:10But he offered nothing
30:12Do you understand?
30:13All he did was carry alcohol into the gallery
30:17That's it
30:18I don't know what significant contribution Troy made to this task
30:22I mean, he helped carry liquor into the gallery
30:24And he mopped the floor afterwards
30:26I don't know how that leads to a victory
30:28I was the finance manager, I was the art advisor
30:31I got the caterer
30:33Kwame will not take me to the boardroom
30:35Because I was his artistic advisor on this particular task
30:39He did not go with the artist that I selected
30:41He went with what Troy and Heidi wanted to do
30:44I'm always nominated by default
30:46No, just because you're nominated
30:48I think if I was the project manager and we lost
30:50I think I'd have to nominate myself
30:51Just because I have to be consistent
30:55Just for the strength of the team, I'd like to see Heidi go
30:57Plus I'm tired of hearing her say that she'd rather sell Tampax than artwork
31:01She's pretty much supporting my theory
31:03That she's probably the least classiest person in this game
31:06Kwame could take me, but if he does
31:08I'm gonna have to beat my brother up
31:13Kwame's gonna have to assess everyone's role in this particular task
31:16And make the decision
31:18I just hope he does not choose me
31:20Because I am ready to go into that boardroom fighting
31:23I know I'm not bulletproof, but I'm preparing
31:25That's why I'm putting up with what you're doing
31:27He could take me in if he wants to
31:38I'm not bulletproof
32:03Well, we've had some disasters
32:05But this is the worst
32:07$1,800 versus over $13,000
32:10So that's called a defeat
32:12There's no doubt about it
32:13Kwame, you're the captain, what happened?
32:15We basically made a calculated risk that did not pay off
32:18Megan was a very esoteric, high-risk artist
32:22You know, very edging work
32:23But she had very high price points
32:25Three of the folks on the team decided to go with Megan
32:27One person still wanted to go with Leah
32:29So we went ahead and went with Megan
32:31Who was the one person?
32:32Marissa
32:33I think you're to be commended
32:35You know, there's a very great businessman in this country
32:39Named Kirk Kerkorian
32:40He bought tremendous amounts of Chrysler stock
32:43And the stock went up like a rocket ship
32:46And he made a tremendous amount of money
32:48And I said to him, Kirk, how did you do this?
32:50Why did you do this?
32:52And he said, I loved the look of their new products
32:55And I say, you know, here's a case where you hated the look
32:58Of the work of the person that you were selling
33:00And I don't get it
33:02I hoped and wished that we could certainly succeed at the task
33:05But I knew in my heart that we couldn't
33:07Which is why I expressed it very early on
33:09Before we decided on the artist
33:10That this was not the right choice
33:12I'm not sure in my own mind
33:14Whether or not you picked another artist
33:16That you would have had a different result
33:17What I'm concerned with is how you operated in a team
33:20And from what I have seen and what I understand
33:23There was a lot of dissension among the ranks
33:25What happened, Heidi?
33:26Omarosa, she wanted to sit down to eat
33:28I wanted to grab a quick thing at the deli
33:30Get in the cab and go
33:31And it turned into a fight
33:32Can I just tell you, I've been walking around for a week
33:34With a concussion and I needed a moment
33:37And I asked you for that, Heidi
33:38And you just ignored me completely
33:40Well, because the headaches were coming and going
33:42I mean, you were fine in the morning
33:43And I just, it was just getting a sandwich to go
33:45I mean, there was no need to sit
33:46I've been a trooper for this team
33:47What does a concussion have to do with sitting down
33:49For a long time, having lunch
33:51When you're supposed to be working?
33:52You got hit in the head with a little piece of plaster
33:55That, by the way, all my life
33:57I've been hit in the head with plaster
33:59Omarosa, I mean, you know, give me a break
34:01Let's not, you know
34:02I'm not being dramatic, I've had horrible
34:04Because you have this horrible concussion
34:06You took lunch instead of working, right?
34:08Is that the excuse?
34:09Mr. Trump, if you believe that I was lazy at any point
34:12I'm not saying that at all
34:13I'm sorry, I didn't know I was going to be attacked
34:15You're not being attacked
34:16I just don't get it
34:18And I still don't know really what that has to do with
34:21Taking lunch when you're supposed to be working
34:23I wanted to take five minutes to eat
34:24I called the PM first
34:26And he can tell you
34:27And he can tell you
34:28And I asked him if that was okay
34:29Kwame, do you think that Omarosa makes excuses?
34:32I will say that at times she tends to exaggerate
34:35At times
34:36And she does tend to be somewhat dramatic
34:38And that, I think, is a sentiment that many folks have
34:40Within this team and the other team
34:42It seems like I keep hearing this
34:45Every time your team is in the boardroom
34:47Okay, Kwame, it's time
34:49You have to make a decision
34:51Who are the two people who you feel
34:53Didn't perform as well as they should have?
34:55Once again, I always have to compare people
34:57To my all-star, and that's Troy
34:59And so I'm going to take the two ladies
35:01With me to the boardroom
35:02Troy's going to go up to the suite
35:03All right, so Troy, you're going up to the suite
35:06Heidi, Omarosa, you wait outside with Kwame
35:09Enjoy the evening
35:10Beautiful building, Trump Tower, the best
35:26I'm trying to hold it together
35:28I've been running around with my hand
35:30I can't let it go, Heidi
35:34I can't let it go
35:35I just can't let it go
35:37I can't go
35:38I understand
35:40I don't know who else to blame
35:42I want to go
35:51Let me ask you a question if I may
35:52Well
35:53Mr. Trump, I've worked for the last two weeks
35:55Omarosa, I didn't call for you yet
35:57I've been running around for a week
36:00We all have problems
36:02Life is full of problems
36:03I mean, I understand
36:04Michael
36:05All right, let's go
36:06Sit down, Omarosa
36:07Can I grab tissues?
36:08Go ahead, grab a napkin
36:24Omarosa, come on in
36:27Sit down
36:32Kwame, what do you have to say?
36:34I think I did a good job as a leader
36:36It was a calculated risk that went wrong
36:38And I'll stand by my decision
36:39But, you know, at the same time
36:40If it would have paid off
36:41We would have won
36:42And it didn't
36:43So now, you know, I'm here on the border
36:44Omarosa, what would you say?
36:46Yesterday I worked so hard
36:47As finance manager
36:49I helped distribute
36:50Did you think it was unfair
36:51That they criticized you
36:52For taking time out for lunch?
36:54Which is something people do
36:55I mean, they take time out for lunch
36:57But in this case
36:58You're given a very small amount of time
37:00I've pressed for the last 48 hours non-stop
37:04What happened, Heidi?
37:05My concern was
37:06To be honest with you
37:07Sitting down in a restaurant
37:08Could take, in New York
37:09It was a busy day
37:10I was concerned that would take
37:11Longer than 25 minutes
37:12You're right, everyone takes lunch
37:13I'm just used to on the go
37:14She explained it that eloquently to me
37:16Yesterday
37:17We probably wouldn't have had a problem
37:18You didn't let me get a chance to
37:19Because she likes to drop the F-bomb
37:21Every five minutes
37:22Oh, my God
37:23That's why we
37:24That's why we
37:25But it has to be
37:26Okay, so that's why we threw lunch at them
37:27The what bomb?
37:28The F-bomb
37:29She's cursed
37:30I curse too much, I said
37:32So that's going to stop me
37:33From going to lunch
37:34That's excuses
37:35I don't have time for these catty games
37:36I wanted to get the job done
37:37Well, do you think Omarosa did a good job
37:39Or not such a hard job?
37:40It's an okay job
37:42In your mind
37:43Is okay good
37:44Or is okay not good?
37:46It's not good
37:47Okay
37:48Okay
37:50What do you think of the job Heidi did?
37:52I didn't see Heidi make a significant contribution
37:55To this task at all
37:56Kwame entrusted me in doing a lot of responsibilities
37:59In this task
38:00When my team was unable to do something
38:02You know, I went ahead and stepped up
38:06Okay, so it's time
38:09Heidi, you have an edge to you
38:11That really gets people a little crazy
38:14I have
38:15And you've been driving people a little nuts
38:18You know that, right?
38:19Yeah, yeah, I know guys
38:20This is not the first time this has happened
38:22No
38:25Omarosa, this competition isn't about how much you know
38:29It's about leadership and getting along with your team
38:32It's not about distracting your teammates
38:34From the task at hand
38:35You know, our team leader did a terrible job
38:38But Kwame, at least you took a risk
38:40And even though it didn't pay off
38:42I think you learned your lesson
38:44And besides, I've been known to take a few risks myself
38:47Once in a while
38:48But what really makes me nuts
38:50Is the fact that there's constant fighting in this group
38:53And it's always one excuse after another
38:56I don't like the fact that you two argued
38:59Over whether or not to have lunch
39:01When you have a small amount of time
39:03And you were the one that wanted the lunch
39:05Omarosa, go out and sell paintings
39:07Or whatever the hell you're doing
39:08I don't like excuses
39:12In this case, Omarosa has to go
39:14You're fired
39:21Thanks for the opportunity to be here
39:23Thank you all
39:24Thank you very much
39:25And good luck
39:26Thank you
39:27Try to stop them driving you nuts
39:34Thank you
39:35Okay, thank you
39:41Thank you
39:48Omarosa has a huge chip on her shoulder
39:51She felt that she was superior to the other people
39:55She's very smart
39:56But I think her attitude was terrible
39:59I was a little tough with her
40:00But she's always making excuses
40:02I agree with that
