00:00نَحْمَدُهُ وَنُسَلِّي عَلَىٰ رَسُولِهِ الْقَرِيمِ أَمَّا آبَادٍ
00:03The most brief summary of the 24th chapter of the Holy Qur'an is that
00:08Allah, the Lord of Glory, has mentioned the doctrine of Tawheed, Prophethood, and the doctrine of the Hereafter in this chapter.
00:17And while mentioning the different signs, Allah, the Lord of Glory, has said,
00:23اللَّهُ يَتَوَفَّ الْأَنفُسَ حِينَ مُوْتِهَا
00:26Allah, the Lord of Glory, when He wants to take someone's soul, He does so.
00:32And when He wants to give life, He gives life.
00:36And when He wants to give someone's death, He gives death.
00:40As an example, Allah, the Lord of Glory, has mentioned the sleep of a human being,
00:45that Allah, the Lord of Glory, takes someone's soul in one way or another.
00:51And when a person is about to die, Allah, the Lord of Glory, takes his soul and keeps it with Him and he dies.
01:01And when Allah, the Lord of Glory, wants to give life, He takes the soul in one way or another.
01:07And when he is about to be resurrected, Allah gives him a soul again and he is resurrected.
01:13So, Allah, the Lord of Glory, has all these powers.
01:16After this, Allah, the Lord of Glory, has given a very strong and compelling command to His servants not to be disappointed.
01:27قُلْ يَا عِبَادِيَ الَّذِينَ أَسْرَفُوا عَلَىٰ أَنفُسِهِمْ لَا تَقْرَطُوا مِنْ رَحْمَةِ اللَّهِ
01:33Never be disappointed by the mercy of God.
01:36Allah, the Lord of Glory, is saying to the Prophet,
01:40You can say to those people who have done injustice to their souls,
01:46You have committed a sin, you have done injustice to your souls, you have transgressed the limits of your souls,
01:54You have done everything, but do not take a step in one valley, do not do one thing.
01:59لا تَقْرَطُوا مِنْ رَحْمَةِ اللَّهِ
02:02Never be disappointed by the mercy of God.
02:04I swear to God, this is such a comforting verse.
02:09This verse does not refer to the high-ranking righteous people.
02:13Because in the beginning of the verse, it is mentioned,
02:15يَا عِبَادِيَ الَّذِينَ أَسْرَفُوا عَلَىٰ أَنفُسِهِمْ
02:18Those who have done injustice to their souls.
02:20It is the mention of sinners like us.
02:24You have done all the sins, but do not be disappointed by the mercy of God.
02:31Keep your eyes on God.
02:33Apart from the door of God, what is the way of salvation and forgiveness?
02:37And what is the door?
02:39What is the door apart from this?
02:41Allah the Lord of Glory has revealed a very comforting verse.
02:45And for sinners, this is actually a beacon of hope.
02:49And the background to this is that when Prophet Muhammad invited some people to religion and faith,
02:57Some people said to Prophet Muhammad,
02:59We consider your religion to be true.
03:03We think that your invitation is correct.
03:06But we have committed a lot of sins.
03:08We have committed adultery.
03:10We have committed murder.
03:12We have troubled people.
03:14We have violated the rights of people.
03:17So how can we be forgiven for our great sins?
03:21This verse says that when you become a believer,
03:24When you become a Muslim,
03:26When Allah the Lord of Glory forgives your sin of Shirk,
03:28When Allah the Lord of Glory forgives your sin of Kufr,
03:30Then Allah the Lord of Glory will forgive your sins of murder, adultery, theft, and robbery.
03:37Never be disappointed by the mercy of Allah.
03:39After that, Allah the Lord of Glory has mentioned two groups.
03:43One group will be taken to Hell.
03:51And the other group will be taken to Paradise.
03:56The situation is that Hell is a prison.
04:01And in a prison, when a prisoner is taken, the door is opened and then the door is closed.
04:09Paradise is a guest house.
04:11The principle of opening the door of a guest house is not that when a guest comes, the door is opened.
04:16Rather, the doors are already open.
04:18That is why it is said that you come to us, the doors of our house are open for you.
04:23So the door of the guest house is already open.
04:27So Allah has mentioned these two groups.
04:29The hellfire of the people of Hell and the heavenly blessings of the people of Paradise.
04:34Allah the Lord of Glory has mentioned.
04:36After this, when the first part of the 24th chapter is completed, then Allah the Lord of Glory has mentioned Surah Mu'min.
04:44The beginning of Surah Mu'min.
04:46Why was Mu'min called Mu'min?
04:48Why did he name this Surah?
04:50In fact, in the Pharaoh's court, a believer had stood up and said the word of truth.
04:56The man of the believer had stated, because of the mention of the man of the believer, this Surah is called Surah Mu'min.
05:04Here, the attributes of Allah the Lord of Glory are mentioned in the beginning.
05:12Allah the Lord of Glory has mentioned four attributes.
05:14The one who forgives sins.
05:18The one who accepts repentance.
05:21The one who gives severe punishment.
05:25These are the attributes of Allah the Lord of Glory.
05:27After that, Allah the Lord of Glory addressed the disbelievers and said,
05:32The more you hate yourself today, Allah used to hate you more when the Prophets and Messengers used to invite you to faith, but you did not accept the invitation of monotheism and faith.
05:51The meaning of this is, on the Day of Resurrection, the disbelievers will see the torment of hell and will hate themselves.
06:03At that time, they will be told, The more you hate yourself today, Allah used to hate you more when the Prophets and Messengers used to invite you to faith, but you did not accept the invitation of monotheism and faith.
06:16After that, Allah the Lord of Glory mentioned the story of Prophet Moses.
06:26We sent Prophet Moses with our signs.
06:30Here, the situation was that the Pharaoh, along with his other leaders, suggested that the men of the people of Prophet Moses should be killed.
06:43The women should be made slaves.
06:45And he also suggested the killing of Prophet Moses.
06:49At that time, a man of faith stood in the Pharaoh's court.
06:53Allah has also quoted that sentence here.
06:55What a beautiful sentence.
07:00The man of faith stood up and said, Do you want to kill a man whose only crime is that he says that my Lord is Allah?
07:08Do you want to kill him for the crime of Allah's Kalima La Ilaha Illa Allah?
07:14Therefore, because of this mention of this man of faith, this Surah was named Surah Al-Mu'min.
07:20After that, Allah the Lord of Glory mentioned the name of the Prophets.
