00:00Previously on The Apprentice.
00:06We're moving into the mansion tonight, no more tents ever.
00:10The six remaining candidates competed as three teams of two.
00:15Christine teamed up with Nicole, Frank joined forces with Heidi, and James worked with Stephanie.
00:25And in the boardroom, I intended to fire one team, but Christine and Heidi's terrible individual
00:31performances convinced me otherwise.
00:34If you wanted to fire me solely based on this task, I would 100% agree with you.
00:39Heidi, you're fired.
00:42Christine, you're fired.
00:45You picked the wrong number.
00:47You admitted it was your fault.
00:48Christine, you put the wrong phone number down in the brochure.
00:53You can't defend yourself.
00:54Christine, you're fired.
01:07Congrats, guys.
01:08Congratulations, I'll tell ya.
01:10I was so proud of myself, of Stephanie, Frankie, and Nicole.
01:15You realize you're only four of us?
01:17I know four.
01:18And we're all Aero.
01:19I don't care what you say.
01:20We're all Aero.
01:22We started together in the tent, lost together in the tent, complained together in the tent.
01:27We had a rough ride, but now we can look at each other directly in the eye and say congratulations
01:32for making it this far.
01:33I'm surprised you guys did so well.
01:34I'm getting out of this, you guys.
01:35Why?
01:36I thought you were going to be more flustered on this presentation because it was in front
01:37of Mr. Trump.
01:38I was so looking forward to it.
01:39I was like, you know what?
01:40Give me a chance to get in front of him.
01:47That's the guy I really want to be presenting to.
01:48I don't care about executives.
01:50I care about what Mr. Trump thinks.
01:51He's why I'm here.
01:52Come on.
01:53Let's get over here, Frankie.
01:54Come here.
01:55Absolutely.
01:56Come here, James.
01:57Come here, everybody.
01:58Come on.
01:59Let's get over here, Frankie.
02:00Mr. Trump?
02:01Hello.
02:02Come on over.
02:03Can we make you guys some dinner?
02:04You can make me dinner.
02:05You really want dinner?
02:06Honestly.
02:07Come on over here, Frankie.
02:08Get over here.
02:09Good job.
02:11Thank you very much.
02:12You're a tough guy to fire, Frankie.
02:13You should have been fired.
02:14You keep trying to get rid of him.
02:15Mr. Trump, I'd try hard to show you.
02:16You really worked tonight, didn't you?
02:17I did.
02:18I really did.
02:19OK.
02:20Well, I've got a pleasant surprise.
02:21Number one, you're down to four people.
02:25And I'm very happy with the four people.
02:27Out of millions of people, you're down to the four.
02:29So you really, there is no loser here.
02:31Remember that.
02:32Have a little fun.
02:33You're going to attend a cocktail party at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel with the five people
02:41that have already won on The Great Apprentice.
02:46My five apprentices.
02:47You have Bill.
02:48You have Kendra.
02:49You have Sean.
02:50You have Randall.
02:51And you have Kelly.
02:52I love them all.
02:53Have a good evening, because you have a couple of really tough weeks ahead of you.
02:54All right?
02:55So good luck.
02:56Good luck.
02:57Good luck.
02:58Thank you so much.
02:59Thank you very much.
03:00Good job.
03:01Thank you so much.
03:02Good job.
03:03Very good.
03:04You did very well.
03:05Is that tonight?
03:06We're going to meet the five apprentices!
03:07And we're wondering, hey, there's no reward tonight.
03:08We're just happy to survive.
03:09I can't believe we're going to meet the five apprentices.
03:10I can't believe we're going to meet the five apprentices.
03:11I can't believe we're going to meet the five apprentices.
03:13I'm still walking in a daze.
03:25I don't know what's going on.
03:29Hello, how are you?
03:31Let me help you out.
03:35Thank you so much.
03:37Beverly Wilsler.
03:38Thank you so much.
03:39My team lost three times.
03:40I was four and I was project manager.
03:42That's good.
03:43So your team record was?
03:44Twelve and three.
03:45Twelve and three.
03:46That's sick.
03:47Oh my gosh.
03:48Hi.
03:49Hey.
03:50Congratulations.
03:51Nice to meet you.
03:52I'm Stephanie.
03:53Nice to meet you.
03:54Pleasure.
03:55Sean, congratulations for making it this far.
04:02Bill Rancic was the first apprentice.
04:03He was supposed to be there also, but he got called away on a last minute business meeting.
04:06You know, these apprentices, they're working 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
04:10This is what it is to be an apprentice.
04:11So you guys got to have some questions, right?
04:12Yeah.
04:13We want to know everything.
04:14We've never been asked questions together, so this is your first time.
04:17Yeah, this is great for us, yeah.
04:19So when you were in this position, and it was down to just four, what was going through
04:23your head?
04:24It's now or never.
04:25It's now or never.
04:26You just got to put the pedal to the metal, go 90 miles an hour, and find out what you're
04:30really made of.
04:31Get your second wind.
04:32Yeah.
04:33Or third, or fourth, or fifth.
04:34Or fourth, yeah.
04:35The more you taste it, you taste the final, and you're like, hang on a minute, I'm going
04:40to win this.
04:41You know, I'm like, you start to think, wow, this is really possible.
04:43That's probably what I was thinking when it got down to the last four, that I had a legitimate
04:47shot at winning.
04:48We want to have that.
04:49You guys want to have a little cheers together?
04:50You guys got your drinks?
04:51We got a toast.
04:52We got a toast.
04:53It's toast time.
04:54Congratulations to you guys.
04:55Final four is an amazing accomplishment.
04:56Yes, congratulations.
04:57Stay true to yourself, and put your best foot forward.
05:00So it's to the final four.
05:01To the final four.
05:02Thank you, guys.
05:03Well done.
05:04Congratulations.
05:05It was a great reward to spend some time with the past apprentices, and get an idea
05:13of how they felt when they were in our shoes, and you know, they were down to four people.
05:18You guys want to know what's going to happen from here on out?
05:21Yes.
05:22Tell us.
05:23Please.
05:24You know what's going on?
05:25Now, you already have teams, right?
05:26Yes.
05:27What are the teams?
05:28Get near each other.
05:29Stephanie and I.
05:30You guys scoot over here for a second.
05:31So there's only going to be one more task.
05:33And you two teams need to decide who you want to bring back to help you on the final task.
05:41You've got 30 seconds.
05:43Here we go.
06:02You're fired.
06:13You're fired.
06:14You're fired.
06:15You're fired.
06:16You're fired.
06:17You're fired.
06:18You're fired.
06:19You're fired.
06:20You're fired.
06:21You're fired.
06:22You're fired.
06:23You're fired.
06:24You're fired.
06:25You're fired.
06:26You're fired.
06:27You're fired.
06:28You're fired.
06:29You're fired.
06:30You're fired.
06:31You're fired.
06:32You're fired.
06:33You're fired.
06:34You're fired.
06:35You're fired.
06:36You're fired.
06:37You're fired.
06:38You're fired.
06:39You're fired.
06:40You're fired.
06:41You're fired.
06:42You're fired.
06:43Ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, I'm done for.
06:44I'm done for.
06:45Ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, I'm done for.
06:54You're fired.
06:58Figure it out!
07:01We want Tim right off the bat.
07:02Tim's going to fight for us.
07:03Tim will fight for us and kill for us.
07:04Who else?
07:05Who else?
07:06Who else?
07:07Who is a second person?
07:08Not like Aaron and Angela.
07:09Angela doesn't know it.
07:10strong about her. We don't know anyone on Connect. Erin. Which they're gonna go for?
07:15Mars? No. Carrie? Don't trust. Carrie? Carrie, no. Michelle. Not Michelle. Michelle, no way. Can't be Michelle, can't be Surya.
07:26I don't trust him. I think Surya could do a lot, but I don't know. Surya, I take him. That's it, that's the rest of it. That's what I'm saying.
07:32Done. We're ready. We're ready. We're ready. We're ready. You know you have to pick, go.
07:39Tim. Erin. Erin. Surya. Surya. Angela. Bingo. Yes. They both thought they got the better deal too.
07:47They're both like, ha. I know, I know. Can I ask you guys a curiosity question? Of course. Why'd you pick Angela if neither of you have ever worked with her?
07:55Because Angela is a solid person. I worked with her, I know, but I just, I personally wouldn't pick somebody if I never worked with them.
08:01Angela's never worked with James, Stephanie, or Erin at all. I think that's very difficult to lead someone when you
08:08don't know their strengths and weaknesses. It can be absolutely detrimental. Surya, what would you ration out for Surya?
08:13Oh, team player. He's a fighter. He fights. He's got heart. Surya and Frank didn't get along at all. Surya and Nicole locked heads.
08:23Surya drove Tim to the point of insanity. He really wanted. Organization. He wanted and he's efficient. He goes forward.
08:29So either it's that you guys have no organizational sense whatsoever and you feel like you need the chalkboard master with your team,
08:36or you've lost your mind. This is a great inspiration for us. You guys made it. And listen, we're right there.
08:43I mean, listen, this is it. This is it. Oh, my goodness. Are you ready, kid?
08:51We're ready.
09:06Good morning, this is James. Hi, it's Andy calling. Mr. Trump has meetings at Universal Studios this morning.
09:11Please meet him there on the back lot at 830 a.m. Sharp. OK, sounds good. Thank you so much. Thanks. OK, bye bye.
09:25I love this house. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. Congratulations. You guys are awesome.
09:46I don't even know how to explain it, but I just knew that you were like legit real and something about your big heart.
09:54So we're on the tabby. We'll do well. Let's do it.
10:05I had no idea our employees were coming to the mansion. I'm like, do I hear Tim's voice?
10:11Am I going crazy? Am I thinking Tim everywhere I go? Running into Tim's waiting arms was awesome and amazing.
10:22I mean, Tim was the person that I leaned on. Tim was the person that I could say anything to, that I felt completely comfortable around.
10:27Congratulations. I couldn't have been happier seeing Tim. That was the pump up that I needed to be ready to give it my all.
10:42It was they were told us to pick two people. Your name came out of my mouth.
10:49The first day that came out of my mouth and Tim was the first day that came out of Nicole's mouth.
10:53As soon as I found out that, you know what, Frank and Nicole wanted me to come back, my first thought is, man, you know, this is incredibly awkward.
11:00Frank undercut me and he kind of sniped at me. He would do the exact opposite of what I said or he cut me down in front of the team, which made them lose respect for me.
11:07That's when I felt you were the strongest, strongest player there. And I know that you're the type of person that fights what he believes in. So that's somebody we want on our team.
11:19Yeah. You know, even though I have nothing really to gain, I want to give it my all.
11:24And if I do that, I'll be able to look myself in the mirror and say, you know what, it's pretty impressive.
11:28So that's it. We'll see what happens. And we'll go out with a bang.
11:32Hopefully to be a nice, interesting one. Yeah, it'll be good.
11:47Marker. Action.
12:02Marker.
12:33Welcome to week 13 of your 14 week job interview.
12:40You've all shown exceptional talent out of over a million applicants.
12:45We're down to four. So congratulations.
12:48But remember, only one of you will become the apprentice.
12:53All right. We're standing at Universal City.
12:56This is what's called a back lot for your next task.
13:00You will be making a mini movie.
13:03You're writing, directing and producing a 60 second commercial for a company called Renews It Air Fresh.
13:11They make a great product. It was one of my mother's favorite products.
13:16Next to me are two key executives. Your name, please.
13:19I'm Cynthia Milgram and I'm the vice president of marketing for the Renews It brand.
13:24Your name. I'm Marty Orzio, chief creative officer of Energy BBDO, the advertising agency for Renews It.
13:30You'll premiere your commercial before an audience of moviegoers at an AMC theater.
13:36At the end of that 60 second commercial, Don and Ivanka and the two executives will talk to me and we'll make a determination who we like.
13:47You'll have access to all the Hollywood movie making toys and equipment that you will ever need.
13:53OK. Does that sound simple? Yes, Mr. OK.
13:56Good choices. Great teams. Good luck. Thank you. Go ahead. Go do it.
14:18We were wondering if we could look at our soundstage.
14:20We got to the soundstage and we met with Diane, the owner, and she gave us this tour.
14:25This is our city hall rotunda. This is cool.
14:28It was this endless procession of stage after stage after stage.
14:33There are so many possibilities that it complicated the situation.
14:38Hello. How are you? How are you? Nice to meet you. I'm Stephanie.
14:42So what we decided to do ultimately was have a meeting with the executives from Renews It air freshener.
14:47And so what we'd like to do is get a little bit of maybe background information or vision of what you're looking for.
14:53OK. Really what it does is it captures the bad odors in the air, basically cages them up.
14:59That then keeps them out of the air for good.
15:02So captures odor, cages the odor, and the odor falls. Yes.
15:06Very cool.
15:08Would you say you're more looking to widen your current base or deepen it with this product?
15:12The target audience is moms who have families and they're constantly on the go.
15:17This has been great. Thank you. It was a pleasure meeting you.
15:21The executive meeting went very well. We found out who their core demographic was.
15:25These executives said over and over and over, it's a mother with kids.
15:30How about something like this? I like the idea she's in her office working. She's a working woman.
15:33OK. I like the woman at the office. And then that's when we'll see the clothing spray.
15:37Our concept is to have our star character be the mother coming to a hospital to comfort her child.
15:43She's turning the hospital into a warm, welcoming home. Yes.
15:48And then we've got to figure out how we make this more entertaining.
15:50I'm thinking, I think funny has to be the way to go. Cute and funny.
15:58Maybe it doesn't have to be a hospital.
16:00I think it's funny that, like, she's trying to fix this problem. I want Johnny to feel at home. Here's this, here's this, here's this.
16:06It's drama.
16:10I'm concerned about the hospital. It's like just a dull scene. Someone's over here dying.
16:14Thank you. To win the test, we have to have a great idea. And if we miss the mark, we're done.
16:20I'm nervous about this hospital, Tim. I am too.
16:23Are we eliminating an odor? What odor lies in a hospital?
16:26A hospital is supposed to be clean. That's what they're known for.
16:29How does this eliminate odor in a hospital? I'm very nervous about it.
16:47All right. You have the nerdy odor expert on the stand.
16:50And the lawyer says, did you find any evidence of odor anywhere? And he says no.
16:54That's fantastic.
16:55Our task is to create a 60-second commercial for Renews Air Freshener.
16:59We had brainstormed out an idea that would be this courtroom scene with a dad that's been charged with stinking up the family home.
17:06There's a lot of moving parts, so we're all going to have to take some responsibility.
17:11You work with the actors and actresses.
17:14You work with directing and shooting. Let's do it.
17:17Mr. Trump said there are no more project managers.
17:20So James takes over the things he's naturally better at.
17:23I take over the things I'm naturally better at.
17:25Are we managing the project together? Absolutely.
17:28Yeah.
17:296'4", 250 pounds.
17:31He's definitely bigger than me.
17:32250 pounds? He's a dad.
17:33That's the kind of guy that would be like...
17:35Troublemaker.
17:36So pretty much just bring your gear, and we'll feed you. We'll have some fun.
17:41Stephanie got right on the phone, making sure, you know, every single deadline, and there's a thousand of them, you know, get completed on time.
17:48There's that. Oh, good. There's our visors. We'll take the visors. Definitely.
17:51I'm very impressed with how she's able to see the whole picture.
17:54She's been this dark horse that no one's known about, but here's where she's going to shine.
17:58And then we'll work together on getting the shots, because that's kind of like my thing, is to make sure we get the right expressions from these people.
18:06I am a business internet man from Seattle, Washington.
18:10I know zero about directing a commercial.
18:13However, I love being creative, and I was able to really try to showcase my skills there.
18:19Hey, everybody. Welcome.
18:21We're running on a really super tight time crunch for tonight.
18:24Let's go shoot.
18:26Let's go do it, guys.
18:28Yeah, where are you going to sit?
18:29It's right here.
18:30How about the lovely lady in the back?
18:31I'm going to be right here.
18:32You like to be our mom.
18:33This is a huge and very complex task, and the whole production's running smoothly.
18:38Wasn't that the idea that the wife was right there, wife's floor is there?
18:42I cannot imagine that things are gelling with Frank and Nicole like they are with us.
18:48Wow!
18:50Okay, we're going to do a couple of shots with mom coming in by herself.
18:52Mom, we're going to be right over here first.
18:54You're going to set up the two picture frames.
18:56Our commercial is about a professional woman who gets a phone call.
19:00Hello?
19:01That her son just hurt his ankle, and she has to go over to the hospital to see him.
19:04We're going to show how by using Renewzit, it eliminates odors in the hospital, and it gives a fresh scent.
19:09Action.
19:10John, sweetie, how are you?
19:11I was so worried.
19:12You know, the doctor does have to do some more tests, but I'm going to do everything I can to make you feel at home.
19:17Cut.
19:18Okay.
19:19Perfect.
19:20Okay, let's move to the next shot.
19:21Can we please have our bum come in here?
19:25Do Smelly Boy.
19:26Ah, here he is.
19:27Smelly Man.
19:28I say that with the utmost of affection.
19:30I didn't want the hospital scene to be morbid-type setting, so I said we have to add something funny in there,
19:36and stinky bums are definitely funny.
19:38You've got to look like just one of those, like...
19:41Okay, Mom, this is the biggest shot of the day.
19:44Just give me a facial, a sneer at this guy that he smells really bad.
19:49Roll camera.
19:50Action.
19:52This place stinks.
19:58Cut.
19:59That's fun.
20:00Is it funny?
20:01That was hilarious.
20:02All right.
20:03Evan, whenever you're set, just give me the word.
20:05Frank did a great job.
20:06Frank did a great job.
20:07Having been on different commercial sets before,
20:09I have never seen this much footage get captured in the span of two or three hours.
20:13It was amazing.
20:14Cut.
20:15One more time.
20:16We'll do it, and we'll move it to the next shot.
20:17Action.
20:18John, sweetie, how are you?
20:19I was so worried.
20:20The doctor does have to do more tests, but I'm going to do everything I can to make you feel more at home.
20:24Time out.
20:26Why don't we put the product in the background for recognition?
20:32Where would you like it?
20:33Hang on.
20:37When the executives showed up, Nicole did jump right up and grab the Renews-It bottle.
20:42We really didn't need a bottle in the scene we were shooting,
20:45but Nicole was trying to impress the Renews-It executives, which was kind of funny.
20:49That shot is so important.
20:51That shows our product.
20:52It's a big brand-new place for that.
20:57I just wanted to say hi.
20:58Thanks for stopping by.
20:59Let us know how you guys did.
21:00Let's go.
21:02All right.
21:03Please, one more time.
21:04Very quickly, if we can.
21:05Like a big Sirius and a little Helix.
21:09Quiet on the set, please.
21:13Okay, are we ready?
21:14As usual, I'm working on the task, and Tim and Nicole are in La La Land.
21:19I'm very happy to carry the team.
21:21Because this is the last test, this is the time for individuals to step up
21:24and show Mr. Trump that they're ready to be his next apprentice.
21:27Perfect.
21:28Okay, let's move to the next shot.
21:36Quiet on the set.
21:37Take two.
21:38Rolling.
21:39Action.
21:40Mr. Snook, isn't it true you went to Mr. Smith's home to conduct an odor analysis?
21:45Cut.
21:46Okay.
21:47Beth, first question.
21:49I still need a little bit more.
21:50Okay.
21:51We're going to go again, guys.
21:52James, it doesn't have to be perfect.
21:54We start getting shots, and we're out of here.
21:57James is trying to be a perfectionist, but we need to get a move on
22:01James is trying to be a perfectionist, but we need to get a move on
22:04and get out of the downstage by 10 p.m. sharp.
22:07At that point, we lose our film crew.
22:09Take five.
22:11Action.
22:12Mr. Snook.
22:13Cut.
22:14Mr. Snook.
22:15Okay.
22:16Mr. Snook.
22:17Cut.
22:18Mr. Snook.
22:19Mr. Snook.
22:20Cut.
22:21Mr. Snook.
22:22Take ten.
22:23Interesting.
22:24Interesting.
22:25Interesting.
22:26Interesting.
22:27Interesting.
22:28Interesting.
22:29Interesting.
22:30We took a lot of takes.
22:32I'm talking a ton of takes.
22:34It was really important that this scene captured the audience to create that drama effect.
22:41Cut.
22:42Okay, let's do that one more time.
22:43Okay, that's it.
22:44That's it.
22:45We really have to go.
22:46Guys, I don't understand the rush right now.
22:48We're pretty much done.
22:49We're actually not.
22:50We want the dad spraying the floor, the couch, and probably the dog bed.
22:55That's a lot of material.
22:56It is a lot of material.
22:57I have to show you.
22:58Just do it.
22:59I know you can do it.
23:00Just do it.
23:01I'm feeling the pressure.
23:02We now have 45 minutes before we lose our film crew.
23:04We are so far from finished.
23:06If we don't have the raw footage necessary, there won't be a complete storyline.
23:10It all ends there.
23:11We are dead in the water, and James and I can definitely count on being fired.
23:15The jury finds the defendant guilty.
23:18Cut.
23:19And we're going to do the not guilty now.
23:20The jury finds the defendant not guilty.
23:23Cut.
23:24Let's do one more guilty.
23:25Keep rolling.
23:28We're going to go wide on the don't worry, because she should still be sitting,
23:38and the product shouldn't be in the shot yet.
23:40This place stinks.
23:44After we finished shooting at the sound stage, we headed to the editing facility.
23:50Set, cut.
23:51I'm so excited to get started editing.
23:53It's just so much fun when you take all this material that you have,
23:56and you cut it down, and you ultimately tell a story from it.
24:00Jeff, can you back it up and just let her play bad news again where she says bad news?
24:04Bad news.
24:06Can we go to a close-up now on her doing that?
24:08Hang on. No, no, no.
24:09I'm going to pull one more close-up.
24:11Okay, so you want to stay in her close-up.
24:13Yep.
24:14The client just called.
24:15They're going to be here in 10 minutes.
24:17Perfect.
24:19Can you cut that time out, that lapse of a second right now?
24:22How?
24:25Right there.
24:26Oh, at the end?
24:27We're not done?
24:28Yeah, we're not there yet.
24:29Yo, hang on.
24:30Okay, here's what we're doing.
24:31Here, it should be a close-up, then a wide shot, then a close-up.
24:33Nicole really had it down.
24:34She seemed to really know what she was doing,
24:35so it made sense that she was sitting right next to the editor and really helping him work.
24:39And then back it up to the backup part.
24:41So it's going in.
24:42Frank knows nothing about editing, but really insisted on input,
24:45which really, if anything, slowed things down.
24:47Now, sorry, can we throw some text in there?
24:50No.
24:51Your focus is your product.
24:54You're amazing.
24:56No, no, no, listen to me.
24:57You and I are going to talk like a team right now.
24:59I listen to you the whole time you've been here.
25:01You're going to listen to me a little bit now.
25:02Go!
25:03Okay.
25:04We work together as a team.
25:05What's the problem if I work on the editing?
25:06Tell me.
25:07The problem is that I have all the notes.
25:10I'm very aware of all the notes and what's going on.
25:13I can't throw this with you, no.
25:15It was very frustrating that Frank was over my back the entire time
25:19because I rocked in editing, and I really wanted to be like,
25:21Frank, back off.
25:22Let me do this.
25:23I do it well.
25:24Why won't you just let me take it and run with it?
25:27Frank is like, right now, I know where everything is that I need to go to.
25:30For me to stop is like stopping my mental track.
25:33How about this?
25:34So take a note, and then when we're like, okay,
25:36then be like, okay, here, we need to do this, this, and this.
25:39Like when we're done with the scene.
25:41Roger that?
25:42Roger that.
25:43Okay.
25:44Scoot on over.
25:4502100.
25:46Look over?
25:47Yeah.
25:48Okay, I think that look,
25:49we might be able to use it at the right time.
25:51Can we watch what we have so far?
25:52Yeah, yeah, yeah.
25:53But I found Renu's it captures cages and drops it to the ground.
25:57Oh, interesting.
25:59I don't think it's exactly clear what the roles of the characters are.
26:04Aaron's right.
26:05I mean, that doesn't make sense.
26:07It was clear that James didn't get all the footage we needed.
26:10At that point, it was like that pit in your stomach feeling that we missed it.
26:15Let me try something.
26:17Let me just try something.
26:18I knew that this was my fault.
26:20It just took a lot longer to shoot than I thought.
26:23But the reality was Stephanie is not a creative person.
26:27I'm the one who's going to take that burden.
26:29Here's what I would like is I would like to put a few pieces together.
26:34Okay, stop right there.
26:36Let's get rid of that whole first scene.
26:39Okay.
26:40I want him shooting the couch.
26:42I'd like to go back to the jury.
26:44I was figuring things out as I went along, willing myself mentally to not sleep.
26:49I have a gut instinct about certain things, but who knows if it's going to work.
26:53It definitely is nerve wracking.
26:54No, it captures cages and drops it to the ground, thereby eliminating the odor.
26:58There you go. That's better.
26:59Interesting.
27:14Hello, ladies and gentlemen.
27:34How are you?
27:35Welcome to the Century City AMC Theaters.
27:38Today we are here to feature a commercial for a household name that has been around for decades.
27:44Renews it, so we hope you enjoy it.
27:46Thank you again for joining us.
27:52Mrs. Smith has accused her husband of stinking up their home during boys' poker night.
28:00Counsel, proceed.
28:02Dr. Snook, did you do an odor analysis at Mr. Smith's home?
28:07Yes.
28:10And you found evidence of tobacco smoke, dirty socks and head odor?
28:16No, but I found Renews It, super odor neutralizer and pure breeze.
28:21Well, that just covers the odor.
28:23No, it captures cages and drops it to the ground, thereby eliminating the odors.
28:32The jury finds the defendant...
28:42not guilty.
28:47Renews It, super odor neutralizer and pure breeze. Nothing eliminates odors better.
28:57I feel really good about what we showed.
28:59Stephanie, Aaron, Angela and myself came up with a very good commercial.
29:03The audience was receptive to it. I feel really proud.
29:07There goes Frank and Nicole.
29:12Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen.
29:14We would like to thank the Renews It Corporation for giving us the opportunity to work with this three-in-one special odor neutralizer.
29:22Ladies and gentlemen, sit back and see how Renews It is important in your everyday life.
29:30The client just called. They're going to be here in ten minutes.
29:33Always be prepared.
29:36I worked on him this morning, just in case.
29:38One more problem. Your jacket, it smells like smoke.
29:41Well, that is not a problem either.
29:44Renews It, super odor neutralizer is a lifesaver.
29:47But wait, don't you use it just for the air?
29:49Yes, but it eliminates odors in air, fabric and carpet.
29:52Oh, show time. The client's here.
29:58I've got to get this. Sorry.
30:00Hello?
30:01Miss Jenkins, it's Bobby. Johnny got hurt playing football.
30:03I'll be there soon.
30:04John, sweetie, I was so worried, but I'm going to make you feel right at home.
30:08It makes it better, but it's still not like home.
30:11This place stinks.
30:15I have just the thing for both.
30:23Wow, the odor's eliminated, and now it smells like home.
30:33We hit the mark, and I am excited.
30:36The audience got a kick out of it.
30:38If the audience is happy and the executive is happy,
30:40Mr. Trump has to be happy.
30:54Yo.
30:55How's it going?
30:56Yes, this is it, buddy.
30:57How was your video?
30:58We just did a courtroom drama.
31:01I called it.
31:02She called it.
31:03Stephanie and James did a courtroom drama.
31:05Stephanie and James are a complete bore.
31:08Stephanie and James are a complete bore.
31:10They don't do anything exciting.
31:12They don't have fun.
31:13They don't get all the creativity out there.
31:15I mean, the way that Frank and I interact,
31:17that's where great ideas come from.
31:19I could care less what they did.
31:21It was like Smith versus Smith.
31:22This guy's on trial for stinking up the family residence.
31:25His wife's got him on trial
31:27because he had, like, a poker party with his friends,
31:29stunk up the whole place.
31:30What'd you guys do?
31:31What'd you guys do?
31:32We did...
31:33A day in the life.
31:34A day in the life.
31:35Of what?
31:36Businesswoman goes...
31:37A strong woman.
31:38Her blazer smelled like cigarette smoke.
31:39She sprayed down her blazer.
31:41And then her son called.
31:42He's in the hospital.
31:43She goes to the hospital.
31:44There's, like, this smelly guy next to him.
31:46And she's like...
31:48They had a working woman
31:50whose child was injured somehow in a hospital.
31:53What type of positive message is that?
31:56My wife would never want to even think
31:58about our kids being hurt.
32:00And the last thought she would have
32:01is odorizing them in a hospital.
32:03Give me a break.
32:06Yeah, that forgot about that.
32:12How did Stephanie and James do?
32:14James was terrific.
32:17He was doing most of the directing
32:19but also making the actors feel great.
32:22And that was very important
32:23to make your team feel motivated and appreciated.
32:26And he has a lot of energy.
32:27And a lot of energy.
32:28Stephanie seemed to be behind the scenes
32:31kind of running the show.
32:32She, at the end, said,
32:33All right, James, this is the last scene we're taking,
32:35and we're ending,
32:36which was an interesting dynamic.
32:38And so as a team,
32:39I think they were both playing their part
32:40to try and get the best end result.
32:42Stephanie's been a little bit of a sleeper.
32:44You know, she's been slowly going along,
32:47but she's very, very smart.
32:49What about Frank and Nicole?
32:51What did you see there?
32:52I was interested to hear your opinions
32:53about who really were the leaders.
32:55Nicole has a lot of energy and enthusiasm as well.
32:59Seems very smart.
33:00I think she's got a great way.
33:01A great way about her.
33:02But during the filming,
33:03Frank took control of the directing,
33:06and Nicole watched.
33:07Now she was helping,
33:09but Frank did the directing,
33:10and then he did the delivery.
33:12So it almost seemed that Frank was running the show.
33:15Marty, do you generally agree with Cynthia?
33:17Um...
33:18You better.
33:19She's your boss, Marty.
33:21If you don't, all of a sudden you're fired.
33:23Okay, go ahead.
33:24Do you generally agree?
33:25I kind of felt that both Frank and Nicole
33:29were lacking in some areas.
33:31And if they had only been able to work as a team,
33:34they would have compensated for each other's weaknesses.
33:37But when all is said and done,
33:38I liked Frank's can-do attitude.
33:41And Frank is a tough cookie, isn't he?
33:43Frank was a tough cookie.
33:44You know, he's a very deceptive guy to me.
33:46He's got the accent.
33:47Yeah.
33:48Which I don't say is good or bad
33:49because I have the accent too.
33:50I was blessed or not blessed with that New York accent.
33:53But he comes through.
33:55Yep.
33:56He comes through.
33:57Well, I very much appreciate your time and your effort.
34:00You are terrific people, and good luck.
34:02Thank you very much.
34:03Thank you very much.
34:04Thank you, Marty.
34:05Thanks, Cynthia.
34:06Thanks.
34:27You can head on in tonight.
35:09You were asked to create a 60-second theatrical commercial
35:13for Renews at Air Freshener
35:15and then display it in front of a group of live moviegoers.
35:20Pretty exciting, I think.
35:22James, how do you think you did?
35:23I think we did excellent.
35:25This task was very difficult in terms of scheduling
35:28because you only had a certain amount of time to shoot,
35:30and I think we made a lot of quick, critical decisions
35:33and also adjusted.
35:34And I got to give credit to the team
35:36for helping to adjust that way.
35:38Who were your team in particular?
35:39Everybody.
35:40It really stepped up.
35:41Angela helped from hitting it from a different angle.
35:44Erin helped by looking at it objectively.
35:46Stephanie, she's always great.
35:47I mean, she's always fantastic.
35:49Stephanie, how do you think you did?
35:51I think we did excellent, Mr. Trump.
35:53I think we really nailed it.
35:54We gave the executives what they were looking for.
35:57Would you be surprised if you lost?
35:58I would be surprised.
35:59Nicole, how do you think you did?
36:01Mr. Trump, we had a dream team for this particular task.
36:04Everybody was extremely utilized.
36:07Frank was there being a leader, directing everybody.
36:09I was there editing.
36:10Everybody really stepped up.
36:12What do you think about Frankie?
36:13I think Frank did a great job.
36:14I mean, he's such a passionate person.
36:17He comes across, he can be very loud and extreme,
36:20but that's passion.
36:21I mean, he is always willing to give it his all,
36:23and I absolutely respect him for that.
36:24So, Frankie, how did you do?
36:26Mr. Trump, I think we did excellent.
36:28I believe we hit the mark.
36:29We complimented each other,
36:30and we worked well together as a team.
36:32Surya, who did the better job of the two?
36:35It's hard to say.
36:36They both did very different things, Mr. Trump.
36:38You know, Frank is a master of putting together scenes.
36:40He did that again.
36:41Is he a master of that, really?
36:42Yes, he's very good at it.
36:43I told him he should have been, like,
36:44some kind of brilliant mechanical engineer
36:46working at NASA or something.
36:47He's got a great mind for it.
36:48And Nicole really did well in the editing room,
36:50and I think they did them both very well.
36:51Tim, what do you think?
36:53Nicole and Frank, you know, they're team players,
36:56and they want to have everyone input,
36:57but at the same time, we appreciate this is a situation
36:59where it should be about them.
37:00Would you be surprised if they lost?
37:02I would.
37:03I think we really nailed it.
37:04I think we did have a dream team for this particular task.
37:07Angela, who do you know better, Stephanie or James?
37:10You know what?
37:11Having that hedge in the backyard,
37:13I had no idea what kind of people they were
37:15until this task.
37:16That hedge was a pretty famous hedge.
37:18It really was.
37:19Made more famous by Tim and Nicole.
37:23Aaron, what did you think of your team?
37:26You know, throughout this interview process
37:28and really a lot of business teams that I've worked on,
37:30I don't think I've ever been part of a team
37:33that really compliments each other so well.
37:36You have James, on one hand,
37:38who is a perfectionist in his trade.
37:42He was really producing this commercial
37:44and looking for the absolute perfect shot,
37:47while Stephanie was keeping him on track,
37:49you know, keeping the train moving.
37:51So it's the combination that made this commercial a success.
37:55But individually,
37:56you think they're both extremely competent.
37:58Absolutely.
37:59I'd like to see them hire both.
38:01All right.
38:02Angela, Aaron, Tim, Surya,
38:06thank you very much.
38:07Say goodbye to your bosses.
38:09You really all did very, very well,
38:11and I'm proud of you.
38:12I think you're all very, very exceptional.
38:15You're outstanding people.
38:18Thank you. Go ahead.
38:19Thank you, guys.
38:24Tim, thank you for everything.
38:26Thank you very much.
38:28Thank you for all your hard work.
38:40Needless to say, amazing job.
38:44You're all stars.
38:46You've gone through a grueling period of time.
38:48And it hasn't been easy.
38:50You've lived like hell.
38:52You've lived in terrible conditions.
38:54You've lived in soggy, disgusting tents
38:57with wet, horrible grounds.
39:00And you've also lived in a beautiful mansion.
39:03But you've really suffered,
39:05and you've also really achieved something
39:08that very few people will have the opportunity to achieve.
39:12So I congratulate all of you.
39:15Now, I'm going to do something a little different.
39:19I want you to go back to the mansion,
39:21get your bags and gear and dresses and clothing
39:25and whatever you have.
39:27You're then going to go home.
39:30I'm going to meet you all in the boardroom next week.
39:38In front of a live audience
39:40of millions and millions of people,
39:42we're going to have a little fun.
39:44Out of millions of people, you're down to the four.
39:46So you really, there is no loser here.
39:48Remember that.
39:50And from this group, I will choose The Apprentice.
39:53Go ahead.
39:54Thank you very much.
39:55Congratulations.
39:57Thank you all.
39:58Thank you very much.
39:59See you guys.
40:00Congratulations.
40:01Congratulations.
40:02Thanks, guys.
40:04Congrats.
40:08Thank you, sir.
40:11Bye, guys.
40:12Thanks again.
40:13Bye, everybody.
40:16What a feeling.
40:17What a feeling.
40:24That's a lot of stuff to pack.
40:26Can I ask you a question?
40:27Yeah.
40:28How much clothes do you have?
40:30I have a lot, Frankie.
40:32I have a lot of clothes.
40:35It's a really fun process to compete week after week
40:39and to really build friendships.
40:41And there's a great, great life experience about it.
40:45And for it to come to an end is definitely a sad thing as well.
40:48I'm packed.
40:49Oh, my.
40:50Honestly, I'm packed.
40:51Are we leaving?
40:52I'm going to need a little bit of help because I have a lot of bags.
40:55I have a lot of stuff.
40:57But we have something big to look forward to.
40:59Mr. Trump is going to make a decision on who the next Apprentice is
41:03next week live in front of millions of people.
41:07Anything can happen.
41:09All arrow.
