00:00Previously on The Apprentice, four candidates remain.
00:04Ala, Felicia, Randall, and Rebecca.
00:07And I challenged the teams to create a promotional video
00:11for Microsoft's newest product, Office Live Meeting.
00:15No, no, no. I'm the actress. You're the director.
00:17While Felicia and Ala battled for control...
00:20Just don't be a control horse. Okay.
00:22Rebecca and Randall had a different working relationship.
00:25I would really like to be the project manager on this task.
00:28I'd like to get you a win. Thank you, Randall.
00:30You deserve a win.
00:31Excel's actor couldn't act.
00:33Stop. That's enough.
00:35So Rebecca made Randall her leading man.
00:37And roll.
00:38Look, I've got a flight to catch in three hours,
00:40so please send it fast, okay? Yep.
00:42When the teams presented their videos to the Microsoft executives,
00:46it wasn't even close.
00:48We really felt that the clear winner in this case was Excel.
00:51Rebecca earned the win, and Capital Edge went to the boardroom.
00:56Ala, you were very difficult for Felicia.
00:58I do not believe so, sir.
01:00Felicia lost control of the whole task.
01:02I lost control of you.
01:03And just like...
01:04Let me explain to you what happened, Felicia.
01:06Why do you do that?
01:07No, but you feel this need to steamroll over people,
01:10and it's not necessary.
01:11Ala, she's being so nice to you, and you are just killing her.
01:14I'm not trying to kill her. I'm just trying to...
01:16I almost think if you would have just left her alone,
01:18she would have probably said, I should fire her.
01:26I don't think it's going to be a hard decision.
01:28Oh, yeah. Yeah.
01:30I'm going to send Ala back here.
01:31Right now, Felicia and Ala are in the boardroom.
01:33I'm waiting to see who comes back.
01:35I fully expect Ala to come back.
01:37I'd be shocked.
01:39I think Felicia knew.
01:41Let's see what's going down.
01:43Felicia, I have to ask you, are you giving up?
01:46I'm not giving up at all.
01:48I'm not giving up. I want to be here.
01:50Worse than anything.
01:52I want to be here.
01:54Worse than anything.
01:55Felicia, in all honesty, you have to agree, when we...
01:57Why don't you just stop?
01:59No, no, no. I want to compliment her.
02:01Ala, Ala.
02:02She's a wonderful woman.
02:03You've got to stop browbeating her.
02:07Felicia, you're not strong enough to be here.
02:10You're lovely. You're smart.
02:12You have so many things going,
02:14but you're not strong enough for this city.
02:17Felicia, you're fired.
02:23Sit, Ala.
02:27Ala, the fact is, you're very, very hard to manage.
02:30Very, very difficult to manage.
02:32Number one.
02:33Number two, you were the director of a disaster.
02:35Ala, you're fired.
02:44I'm sorry I let you down.
02:52Okay, now for something pleasant,
02:54I'm going to go back and tell Randall and Rebecca
02:56that they're the final two.
03:16You're expecting somebody else, aren't you, huh?
03:19But who were you expecting?
03:21Ala.
03:22Mm-hmm.
03:24Well, I want to congratulate you both
03:27because I fired both Felicia and Ala.
03:31That means you, Rebecca, you, Randall,
03:33are in the final two.
03:36That's crazy.
03:38Oh, my gosh.
03:42Oh, my goodness.
03:43I honestly don't know what I thought.
03:45I was sort of in shock.
03:46It was almost like I wanted to laugh.
03:48Like, what?
03:50Can you imagine that?
03:51Wow.
03:52It's almost like it hasn't really set in
03:54just because it happened so unexpectedly.
03:56But final two is a final two no matter how you get there,
03:58so I'm happy.
04:00Over a million job applicants.
04:02We're down to two.
04:04So congratulations.
04:06Congratulations.
04:09And you really both were outstanding.
04:12You're going to my favorite restaurant,
04:14a great restaurant, Megu.
04:16And you know who's taking you?
04:18George and Carolyn.
04:19Oh, wow.
04:20Wonderful.
04:21So you know what you're going to do?
04:22You're going to analyze them.
04:23You're going to study them.
04:24You're going to ask questions,
04:25how to get into my head,
04:27because I'm going to choose one of you
04:29to be my apprentice.
04:31Wow.
04:33So congratulations.
04:35Have a great meal.
04:36Enjoy yourself,
04:37because tomorrow will be hell.
04:42Congratulations, Randall.
04:43You too.
04:44Congratulations.
04:45That's incredible work.
04:46That's incredible.
04:47It's about to get crazy.
05:17Thanks.
05:18Thanks.
05:19Thanks.
05:20Thanks.
05:53Take care.
05:54Bye!
05:55Bye-bye!
05:56Bye-bye!
05:57Bye!
05:58Music
06:09Hello, welcome to Megoon.
06:10Please come this way.
06:13Hi there!
06:14How are you?
06:15Well, congratulations.
06:16Yeah, congratulations.
06:18Nice to see you.
06:19It's definitely in order.
06:20This is from the chef.
06:21Sashimi to start with.
06:22This might be your first sashimi, George.
06:23That could crawl off the plate, it looks so raw.
06:25It's all about adaptability, George.
06:26We'll give it a try.
06:27George and Carolyn, I mean, they're both extremely knowledgeable, extremely experienced, and it's
06:33rare for any of us to have a chance to sit down with them to have dinner.
06:36You know, I really appreciated their candor, I appreciated the insight.
06:39So any advice for us as we move into the final task?
06:43First thing is, you're going to have to, along the way, you're going to have to pick people
06:46to help you out.
06:47Before the evening is over, you're going to have to pick your team.
06:51This evening?
06:52Yep.
06:53This evening?
06:54This evening.
06:55Have you actually thought about your teams yet?
06:56I have.
06:57I thought long and hard about who I wanted on my team long before I was asked about it.
07:03I will get them, and I won't take no for an answer.
07:06How many did we get?
07:07Three.
07:08Just three?
07:09Just three.
07:10Let's hear it.
07:11I think I'm going to pick, as my first pick, Josh, James, and Mark.
07:14Josh, James, and Mark.
07:15Josh, James, and Mark.
07:16Josh, James, and Mark.
07:17And what do you think?
07:18Josh, James, and Chris.
07:19Well, you have a problem.
07:20Okay.
07:21I mean, Rebecca had her game face on, and at that point I said, okay, this game is on.
07:33Josh is your first choice?
07:36I'll give you Josh for James.
07:39Is Chris your third pick?
07:40I'll give you Josh for James.
07:41I'll take Josh for James.
07:42First pick.
07:43I would want Chris second.
07:44Who would you want?
07:45I picked Chris from the beginning.
07:46You knew, didn't you, that we were going to have to meet somewhere in the middle?
07:47Or did you think you were just going to get your way completely?
07:48No, no.
07:49The truth of the matter is I had nicely thought through the scenarios that might unfold.
07:50I think that Chris was important to both of us because Chris got here and he was a
07:51good guy.
07:52He was a good guy.
07:53He was a good guy.
07:54He was a good guy.
07:55He was a good guy.
07:56He was a good guy.
07:57He was a good guy.
07:58He was a good guy.
07:59He was a good guy.
08:00He was a good guy.
08:01He was a good guy.
08:02He was a good guy.
08:03He was a good guy.
08:11He was a good guy.
08:12He was a good guy.
08:13He was a good guy.
08:14He was a good guy.
08:15He was a good guy.
08:16He was a good guy.
08:17He was a good guy.
08:18He was a good guy.
08:19He was a good guy.
08:20He was a good guy.
08:21He was a good guy.
08:22He was a good guy.
08:23He was a good guy.
08:24He was a good guy.
08:25He was a good guy.
08:26He was a good guy.
08:27He was a good guy.
08:28He was a good guy.
08:29He was a good guy.
08:30He was a good guy.
08:31He was a good guy.
08:32He was a good guy.
08:33He was a good guy.
08:34He was a good guy.
08:35He was a good guy.
08:36He was a good guy.
08:37He was a good guy.
08:38Okay.
08:39Ramble, you call it in the air?
08:42Heads.
08:43Heads.
08:44Always heads.
08:45Heads?
08:46Yes, sir.
08:47You still watch Angels?
08:48Heads?
08:49Heads.
08:50It's tails.
08:51Okay.
08:52Got Chris.
08:53I will take Mark.
08:55Who would be your third pick?
08:58I'm thinking about Twirl.
09:02That's deep.
09:04If you want her, she's yours.
09:08I'm still thinking.
09:10Okay.
09:11I think it was an error for Rebecca to choose Twirl because I don't think Twirl has lived
09:20up to Rebecca's expectations and Twirl has never shown herself to be a strong player
09:24given the time she was here.
09:25Now, Rebecca would argue that she believes Twirl can perform, but she's never really
09:30seen it.
09:31I don't think anyone's really seen it.
09:32I think you actually did say at one point in time that Twirl should be fired.
09:35So, how do you think her reaction is going to be to this?
09:38We'll see.
09:39It might be risky.
09:40I understand.
09:41Yeah?
09:42What's your feeling?
09:43I'm thinking Marshawn.
09:44So, who are your three?
09:45James, Chris, and Twirl.
09:46And who are your three?
09:47Josh, Mark, and Marshawn.
09:48Does this mean we have a decision?
09:49Yep.
09:51We have a staff.
09:52We have employees.
09:53We have employees.
09:54Good feel.
09:55Good luck.
09:57Hello?
10:08Hi, Rebecca, it's Rhonda in Mr. Trump's office.
10:24Good morning.
10:25Congratulations.
10:26Mr. Trump wants to see you and Randall
10:28this morning in the boardroom.
10:29At 8.30.
10:30At 8.30, wonderful.
10:32Thank you, Rona.
10:33Bye.
10:36Mr. Trump will meet us in the boardroom at 8.30.
10:39Cool.
10:44I don't instantly think of Rebecca right now
10:46as a competition.
10:47Right now I still think of her as my teammate.
10:48Almost like my little sister.
10:49So I gotta get my game frame on
10:51and really realize that at this point forward,
10:54Rebecca and I are competitors.
10:57Even though I'm 10 years behind Randall in terms of life,
11:00I think I am at a very similar point with him
11:04in terms of experience.
11:06I think I've got a great shot next to Randall.
11:08Thanks.
11:18Hello.
11:20How are you?
11:21Good.
11:22Congratulations.
11:23This is big stuff.
11:27Thank you, Randall.
11:27That's very nice.
11:34Okay.
11:35George and Carolyn are at business meetings.
11:37They'll catch up with you later.
11:39I think this is gonna be a very tough,
11:41very competitive contest.
11:43How do you feel about everything, Randall?
11:45I feel very good, Mr. Trump.
11:47I've had an excellent track record
11:48throughout the interview process.
11:50Three wins, no losses.
11:52I think I've earned the respect of everyone
11:53who sat at this table before you.
11:55I mean, the passing of my grandmother,
11:57while tragic and unexpected,
11:59it has been actually a source of motivation
12:01and inspiration for me.
12:02And it was something that I had to fight through
12:04and I had to deal with the emotions
12:05of losing someone very close to me.
12:07But I feel as though I've been able to stay focused
12:09on what I need to do here while still honoring her memory.
12:11I think you did a great job.
12:14And I know it's very tough.
12:15And how about you?
12:16You had your problem with your broken ankle.
12:18Well, the broken ankle could have been seen as a problem.
12:21But in week two, I told you that I came here to win.
12:24And the only way to win was to stay in the game.
12:26And I'm still here, Mr. Trump.
12:28Randall, most people would have gone home.
12:30Say, mommy, fix my ankle, right?
12:32Well, I'm glad I'm still here, Mr. Trump.
12:34And I'm looking forward to showing you
12:37how I can take it to the next level with this task.
12:39Okay.
12:40Your next task will be twice as difficult
12:44as anything you've done thus far.
12:46It is going to be very, very tough.
12:50You'll manage each and every aspect of two huge events.
12:57Rebecca, you will run the Yahoo All-Star Comedy Benefit
13:01and showcase the talents of a variety of top comedians
13:06with host Joe Piscopo.
13:08You'll throw your event at a high-end nightclub
13:12in Manhattan and raise money
13:15for the Elizabeth Glazier Pediatric AIDS Foundation,
13:19which is a terrific foundation that's done an amazing job.
13:24Randall, you'll manage the Outback Steakhouse
13:26VIP Softball Challenge to raise money
13:30for the charity Autism Speaks.
13:33You'll put together a high-profile ballgame for celebrities.
13:37It'll take place at Keyspan Park
13:40at the legendary Coney Island,
13:42home of the Brooklyn Cyclones.
13:45At both events, you'll be judged on your overall success,
13:49coordinating all facets of the benefit,
13:52including sponsors, VIP parties, charity relationships,
13:56budgets, event staff, and overall attendee experience.
14:01Last night at dinner with George and Carolyn,
14:03you each picked three employees to help you.
14:06Let's bring them in.
14:08Robin, please bring in the employees.
14:10Okay, Mr. Trump.
14:11You guys can go right on in.
14:17What a group of killers.
14:20Wow.
14:26Rebecca, Randall, you're now bosses.
14:30Rebecca, you'll be known as Capital Edge.
14:32Randall, you'll be known as Excel.
14:35I want to congratulate you on your choice of people.
14:38Somewhat controversial.
14:39Toral, are you surprised to be here?
14:41Rebecca recognizes talent, sir.
14:43What do you think of Rebecca?
14:44I'm a huge fan.
14:45I think she's possibly a great addition
14:47to the Trump Organization.
14:48So you are going to fight really hard for her?
14:50I'm going to fight tooth and nail for Rebecca.
14:51You should fight harder than anybody
14:53because she really backed you.
14:54Yeah.
14:55Randall, I guess you're happy with your team.
14:58I'm ecstatic about my team.
14:59I mean, I look down this table
15:00and I see three individuals that I trust
15:02and I know that they're going to work strong
15:03on my behalf without question.
15:06Bosses, you'll drive to work in my box.
15:08Your employees will follow you in SUVs.
15:12Good luck.
15:14Thank you, sir.
15:15Have fun.
15:26Thanks, Randall.
15:29Good luck.
15:29Great, you too.
15:30All right.
15:33You guys are styling.
15:34We got you covered.
15:35How you feeling?
15:36Feeling good, man.
15:37Good to see you guys again.
15:38No, I really got sentimental and emotional
15:40when I saw Marshawn and Josh and Mark come back.
15:44We're going over to Brooklyn.
15:45All right, folks.
15:47You got it.
15:48I really enjoyed the opportunity to work with them
15:50and I've missed them.
15:52I can feel the camaraderie and I can feel their support
15:54and their encouragement for me
15:55as I've made it to the final two.
16:00Thanks for picking us.
16:01Yeah.
16:01You guys, I'm so excited to be working with you.
16:04Seriously.
16:05Yeah, and we're very, very proud of you.
16:05I picked Chris, James, and Toral
16:07because I think they're loyal people.
16:10I think they're incredibly intelligent
16:11and I think they've been underestimated.
16:13Toral, I was thinking of having you be accountant.
16:15Does anyone else want to be accountant?
16:17All right, great.
16:18As a leader, sometimes you have to see a diamond
16:21in the rough.
16:22Okay, so the objective is to successfully manage
16:24and execute the Yahoo All-Star Comedy Benefit.
16:27And we're in charge of a VIP pre-party.
16:30I think this whole job interview shows
16:34that success comes down to a team
16:36and not just one single person.
16:38It's going to be a team effort.
16:40It's got to be a team effort.
16:53Hey, team.
16:54Hey, buddy.
16:55What are your initial thoughts?
16:56I want to see my team member that I've trusted
16:59and more importantly, that I really respect win this.
17:01So my job is to get Superman elected
17:03to the Trump Organization
17:04because I can't say one single wrong thing
17:07with Randall at this point.
17:08So what we can do is, for the VIP reception,
17:10I'm thinking Marshawn.
17:11For the field set up and logistics
17:13and working with the commentators,
17:14I'm thinking you, Mark.
17:15Okay.
17:16Josh, I'm thinking for you,
17:17charity relations and fundraising.
17:18If I am not going to be the apprentice for Mr. Trump,
17:20Randall should be.
17:21I mean, he's probably one of the most balanced,
17:23intelligent, grounded individuals I've worked with.
17:26I will do whatever it takes to ensure
17:28that Randall wins this task.
17:29All-nighters, digging up gravel, dirt,
17:32wearing costumes, whatever I need to do
17:33to make sure he wins this task, I will do.
17:35Okay.
17:36We'll get her done, my friend.
17:37We'll get her done.
17:38And then some.
17:39All right.
17:47There we go.
17:50Bye, guys.
17:51From Trump Tower, we had to go to Boulevard
17:53where our actual event would take place.
17:55The final task is a big one.
17:57You have to work with Elizabeth Laser
17:58Pediatric AIDS Foundation along with Yahoo
18:02to make a one-night experience.
18:04We have 300 people, 100 VIPs.
18:06We hire a valet service.
18:08Yeah.
18:09We have to make sure the experience is good,
18:10make sure we're under budget,
18:11make sure the drinks and food are delicious,
18:13make sure that the relationships that we create
18:15are outstanding.
18:16There's so many moving parts
18:17that Rebecca has to stay in front of.
18:19It's gonna be a hard task.
18:20There's just one parking lot,
18:21so we're still gonna, we'll have to think about that.
18:23That's on our back burner.
18:24I want to do whatever I can
18:26to make sure Rebecca wins.
18:28She believes in the people that she's called,
18:30and for that belief, we will repay her
18:33by just doing the best job that we can do.
18:36Wow.
18:37Wow, it's a great place.
18:38All right, guys, let's just all sit down at the table
18:41and go over a few additional things
18:43that I want you guys to be aware of.
18:45Rebecca did a great job throughout this whole job interview.
18:48Randall's a great guy, he's a great friend,
18:49but in this task, I'm here to win,
18:51I'm here to beat Randall with Rebecca.
18:54Oh, this is great, this is where it's at.
18:57Yeah, this is a beautiful space.
18:59We have tables, we have chairs.
19:00Our tour of Boulevard took us downstairs
19:02to see where our comedy event would be,
19:04and it was a great venue, a perfect setup
19:06for a stage performance by a comedian.
19:08Just for your information,
19:10we're expecting three to five comedians,
19:13as well as one emcee, which is going to be Joe Piscopo.
19:16I've been to a lot of events,
19:18but never really planned one myself,
19:20and whatever comes my way today,
19:23it may surprise me, but I will react
19:26in the same way I've reacted to everything,
19:28just with the can-do attitude
19:30that I have approached this entire job interview with.
19:33We'll use that front entranceway,
19:34and we will only be using this room up here
19:36for the VIP lounge, because of the fact
19:38that it's 150 people, and we want to get them downstairs
19:41to the comedy club event.
19:43Perfect, perfect.
19:45♪♪
19:48Guys, this is Keyspan Park right here.
19:50This is a huge park.
19:54How was the ride, my friend? Was that the lap of luxury?
19:56I think there's a lot of pressure
19:57for everything to go right on this task.
19:59I mean, we have to answer to Outback,
20:01we have to answer to Autism Speaks,
20:02so we've got to make sure that everybody walks away
20:04feeling like they got their money's worth
20:05or their time's worth.
20:06♪♪
20:08Whoo! It's a big ballpark.
20:09Wow. Plus, we've got a nice day, so it helps.
20:11Beautiful.
20:12You need to figure out exactly
20:13where each of the events would take place,
20:15so the first component is a tailgate,
20:18second is the actual event, the softball game,
20:21and then third, we have a VIP reception
20:23that will follow the game.
20:24We'll have to kind of talk about how many people you have.
20:26You're going to need a tent.
20:27We have some celebrity base coaches for each side, too.
20:30We're going to have Jerome Williams from the Knicks,
20:33Sugar Ray Leonard, the boxer,
20:34G-Unit, the hip-hop group, playing softball,
20:37and a crowd of between 400 and 500 people on hand.
20:41I guess a walk and talk to the war room.
20:43All right.
20:44Yeah, excellent.
20:45This weather's priceless for baseball.
20:48Hi, there. I'm Rebecca.
20:50Oh, hi. Beth Lawrence.
20:52Beth Lawrence, nice to meet you.
20:54After we finished our meeting at the boulevard,
20:56James and I went to meet with the Yahoo executives.
20:58Is there an average person you could describe to us
21:01so we understand who's coming?
21:02This is for our very important clients.
21:04They're all the top marketers you've heard and read about
21:07in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal,
21:09Adweek, AdAge, et cetera.
21:10And we're going to have a great time.
21:12We're going to have a great time.
21:13We're going to have a great time.
21:14We're going to have a great time.
21:16And they're very important to us.
21:18Whatever we do for these people has to be done right.
21:20Agreed.
21:21How do you feel about incorporating elements
21:24from the foundation into the general Yahoo theme?
21:28We could use some counsel with regard to the right way to do that.
21:32Okay.
21:33Rebecca and James do have their work cut out for them
21:35because we've actually never hosted a charity event before,
21:38so we're very curious to see what they come up with.
21:40As far as the actual process of donation goes,
21:44are you expecting that these people will come
21:46and open their pocketbooks on this night to the foundation,
21:50or how do you see that playing out?
21:52I would like to make sure you address the balance
21:54between the high-end, classy VIP reception
21:58and the fundraising element at the comedy show.
22:01So I think striking that balance is going to be
22:04a very critical part of your success
22:06in both elements of the program.
22:08The magical question is how do you tie in Yahoo
22:10with the comedy and the AIDS foundation?
22:12And it's difficult, but that's our job.
22:14We're hired to make this work.
22:23We really want to define our event differently than any other event.
22:27My task was to throw a Yahoo All-Star Comedy benefit
22:31to benefit the Elizabeth Glazer Pediatric AIDS Foundation.
22:35Infinity Marketing is an all-encompassing event planning organization
22:39which helped us basically to pull off the entire event.
22:43You know, you've got your inside of the stage,
22:45but then also you have the look of a computer monitor
22:49around the comedy stage,
22:51and coming down as steps are the keypad of the stage.
22:57So you're envisioning framing the entire stage.
22:59That's a grand idea with a big dollar sign.
23:02Oh, goodness.
23:03If you guys said we could do whatever,
23:05you'd make it work for us.
23:07We tried.
23:08Why don't you guys streamline this a little bit more
23:10and then bring it back to us.
23:12All right.
23:13There are so many ideas that we've brought to the table,
23:15but some just won't work with the location,
23:17and we're here to impress the Yahoo VIPs,
23:22and that's absolutely imperative to our being successful on this task.
23:27So we're going to start at the entrance.
23:29The thing we've got first is we've got purple carpet,
23:31roped off with purple velvet rope stands if possible.
23:34The thing that we're focusing on is ambiance and decor of this event.
23:38I can't believe I said decor.
23:40I'm such a fool.
23:41Anyway, purple is Yahoo, and Yahoo is purple.
23:44So purple and white are their colors,
23:46and purple and white is what they're going to see
23:48when they walk through this door.
23:49We also need to pick the fabric for the Ottoman.
23:51You might think I'm nuts, but I like this one personally.
23:54It's shimmy.
23:55It's like, I know I just said shimmy,
23:57but totally girly.
23:59But could we do like a purple and white version of this?
24:02Yeah.
24:03It's good.
24:04Chris is creative.
24:05He's a former NFL lineman.
24:07Talking about shimmer, velvets, purples.
24:11Total surprise to me,
24:12but it really tells you how much of a player he is.
24:14He's willing to do any and everything to make sure this is a successful event.
24:18What do you think of this?
24:19Have little tiny bud vases with purple and white marbles only.
24:24And glitter around the edges.
24:26You're a genius, Chris.
24:27What can I say?
24:35This is Randall.
24:36Hi, great to meet you.
24:37At 2 o'clock, we met with Allison Singer, CEO of Autism Speaks.
24:40We really wanted to understand her goals and her vision for the event.
24:45One in 166 children are now diagnosed with autism.
24:49One in 166?
24:50That's a staggering number.
24:52As a parent of a daughter with autism,
24:54every event in my life is touched by autism.
24:58That is the response we always get when we lead with the facts.
25:02That's what drives our fundraising.
25:04That's good.
25:05If you can communicate that message tomorrow,
25:08during the softball tournament,
25:10you will have a successful event.
25:12We will.
25:13I recently found out that my wife is pregnant,
25:16which I'm very excited with our first child.
25:18It's a pretty scary thought.
25:19I was giving Randall 110%,
25:22but after hearing Allison speak,
25:24if there is an ounce or a percentage point more that I can find in my body and my DNA,
25:28I'm going to give it.
25:29So what are the ways that you'll raise money?
25:31I think we really have three categories of how we want to generate revenue.
25:34The first is the silent auction.
25:35When I talked to the team,
25:36Josh seemed like the leader of that group.
25:38And Josh really seemed to immediately understand
25:42how increased awareness leads to increased fundraising ability.
25:45Do you ever hand out megaphones?
25:48Because autism speaks, I think, the whole concept of voicing yourself.
25:52That's a great idea.
25:53We should add that to the budget as a possible expenditure.
25:55This is peanuts for what we need to do.
25:57Absolute peanuts.
25:59Absolute peanuts.
26:00I was a little bit concerned that Randall was overly focused
26:03on the operational details of the event
26:05and not sufficiently focused on the importance of getting our message out.
26:09Pleasure to be working on behalf of your organization.
26:11Thanks so much.
26:12My concern is that if he doesn't understand the message
26:15and isn't able to convey the importance of that message,
26:18the event will not be as successful as it can be.
26:20How are you feeling?
26:22So far, so good.
26:23So far, so good.
26:30You excited?
26:33I'm not excited.
26:34Oh, boy.
26:35The fish piss in his drinking water?
26:37We have a dinner scheduled with Joe Piscopo
26:39to talk about the venue and how he's going to perform.
26:42Is it Joe or is it Mr. Piscopo?
26:44Oh, my God. Please, it's Joe.
26:46Joe Alderwey, thank you very much.
26:48It's absolutely great to meet you.
26:49Thanks, man.
26:50Joe Piscopo is a comic legend,
26:52and having him as the emcee brought this comedy event full circle.
26:56I would love to be able to help pediatric aides.
26:59I would love that. I would just love that.
27:01This event that we're putting on, Yahoo is our corporate sponsor.
27:03Wow.
27:04So, I mean, it's just, it's class act all the way.
27:07Our goal is to give 300 people,
27:11in particular 150 corporate VIPs from Yahoo,
27:14the best experience they've ever had at this comedy show.
27:18It all comes down to helping the kids out, you know.
27:20This is a big show.
27:21You've got Yahoo coming on board.
27:23Pediatric aides, this is a great cause.
27:25I think Chris and James are on the right track.
27:28I can't thank you enough for this. I really can't.
27:30You know what, they call me Joey Bennett,
27:32but you got a charity, I got a tuxedo, baby.
27:34I come early, I stay late.
27:36This is a great cause.
27:37It's an awesome cause.
27:38Gotta do it.
27:42Yeah, he's a good guy, you know.
27:44Well, I was at dinner with Joe Piscopo last night.
27:47And, uh...
27:48Our buddy, Joe.
27:50It was important we made a good relationship with him tonight,
27:53because he will be the whole event.
27:56This is what it's about.
27:57Joe's ready to give it his all.
27:59What else is on the list? Is there anything?
28:01What do we need to talk about?
28:02Hey.
28:03Let's talk about the dinner that you guys had
28:06and where we're going with this part of the night.
28:09Yep.
28:10My team is definitely more awake than I am right now.
28:13I mean, they've had a lot of relaxation time, whereas I haven't.
28:16So, they're all ready to go, which is great.
28:19First of all, great dinner.
28:21Good.
28:22Great meeting.
28:23Good.
28:24Great person.
28:25Good.
28:26I wanted to send you guys, even though I think I should meet him as well.
28:28I just wanted... I think you guys can manage it.
28:30Yeah.
28:31And I want to see him tomorrow.
28:32No, that's okay.
28:33I'm working hard for Rebecca because I really respect Rebecca.
28:36She has totally proven herself to me.
28:38Right now, I've got everything planned up to the event.
28:41I will have a schedule in the morning for everyone to go off of.
28:44This is great, Rebecca.
28:46You're covering all the bases.
28:48Rebecca has gone through this entire interview process on one leg.
28:51She is physically, emotionally, and mentally exhausted,
28:54but she proved herself as a player and a force to be reckoned with.
28:58And as much as I love Randall, as much as I respect Randall,
29:01Randall has his work cut out for him.
29:03If he expects to beat Rebecca, it's going to be a challenge for him.
29:10We should try to leave here in like 5, 10 minutes, guys.
29:12Marshawn and I hitting Q104, then the stadium.
29:15Yeah.
29:16I was originally scheduled to go meet with Jim Kerr for Q104.
29:19He's doing our color commentary for the game tomorrow.
29:25I'm going to try to make it there 10-15,
29:27and I'll do that, and that'll put me at the stadium by noon,
29:30so we'll be in good shape. Is that okay?
29:33We're dropping you back here, Marshawn?
29:35What's that?
29:36Are you coming with us to Party City?
29:37I would like to.
29:38Oh, we can do that.
29:39I really felt it was important for me to go along with Randall and Josh
29:42to the Party Store because I was in charge of the reception
29:45where most of the decoration would be involved.
29:47If I go to Party City, I can see things that we need to do.
29:49No, it's the right call.
29:50Yeah, it's the right call.
29:51As long as we can squeeze in and get through, we're good to go.
29:53Okay.
29:54Hey, listen, Mark, we're going to need you to come down to the street
29:56to accompany Marshawn to Party City.
29:58Our radio guy, I'm supposed to be at 10-15 with our radio guy.
30:01Right.
30:02Can you move it to 11?
30:03Okay, I'll call him right now.
30:04My time is much better spent with Jim Kerr
30:06than it is wandering the aisles at the Party Supply Place right now,
30:09but this was Randall's call.
30:11He's the final decision maker.
30:12It falls on his shoulders, and if he wants me at Party Supply,
30:14I'll be at Party Supply.
30:16Can you move it to 11?
30:17Yeah.
30:18You're the man.
30:24It's the middle of the second day.
30:25The pace is starting to pick up now.
30:26We're trying to stay ahead of the game, stay ahead of the curve.
30:28What we're wondering is if there's any way we get additional Yahoo chairs.
30:31We definitely want to be able to show off the Yahoo logo.
30:36Is there a chance of us getting both guys?
30:38Let's talk about the deliveries.
30:40We've got decorations we need to put up.
30:42We've got banners we need to hang.
30:44We've got green rooms we need to clean up and fill with food.
30:47We were going 100 miles an hour,
30:49and we're just going to put our nose to the grindstone and make it happen.
30:53Nice.
30:56All right.
30:57Always a friend.
30:58Let me go to the front first.
30:59Marshawn, Josh, Randall, and I are right now at the Party Supply Place
31:03picking up bags for the VIP reception tomorrow.
31:06They're cute, right?
31:07White shirts, khaki pants, a smiley face.
31:10I like smiley faces.
31:11Some ribbons, some place cards.
31:13I'm not quite sure what all we're purchasing in there,
31:15but I don't know why it takes all four of us.
31:18She's going to love these.
31:21Yeah.
31:23Hello?
31:25I need to be back in the city meeting with this color commentator guy.
31:27We've already rescheduled once,
31:29and all four of us are here buying party supplies.
31:32Ten.
31:35Ten.
31:36Robin, $326.
31:37What time do I need these?
31:39Josh, Josh, we didn't get those.
31:40No.
31:41Ten.
31:42Hey, Eric, I'm sorry.
31:43It's Mark Landry.
31:44That's okay, Mark.
31:45We can't make that happen today of coming to you guys.
31:49Oh, that's unfortunate.
31:50Yeah.
31:51Yeah.
31:52I think this may have been the first decision that Randall's made
31:54that I haven't agreed with.
31:55It's a little disheartening that we put this much work in it yesterday,
31:58and we're already off schedule today.
32:00Thanks, guys.
32:05Hi, welcome.
32:06Hey, how you doing?
32:07Come on in.
32:08I'm Jay Glazer.
32:09It's a pleasure meeting you.
32:10Nice to meet both of you.
32:11The Elizabeth Glazer Pediatric AIDS Foundation
32:13was founded in memoriam of Jake Glazer's mother,
32:16who died of AIDS, and they raised money towards AIDS research
32:20and to help families deal with the struggle of AIDS.
32:23We've been sent some materials,
32:24so we'd like to have materials interspersed throughout the event.
32:27And, Jake, it was my impression that you would like to speak
32:30at some point in the night.
32:31That is something that we could work out.
32:33My mother, Elizabeth, started the foundation,
32:35and just as I got older, I grew into the spokesman role,
32:38kind of a face that people can put to the cause.
32:41I think we're going to have a wonderful event.
32:43I hear your mom has a vision.
32:45Yes.
32:46I think we can all say that she's probably going to be here with us,
32:48and she's here with us now.
32:49We really appreciate what you've done.
32:51It's an honor.
32:57Stewardess?
32:58Is there a stewardess on board this plane?
33:01I'd like some peanuts and some orange juice.
33:04Oh, that's it.
33:05Are you kidding?
33:06Oh, that's it.
33:07Josh and I need to now go out to Keyspan Park.
33:10We're going to meet with the CEO from Outback
33:12to give them an overall orientation to what will take place tomorrow.
33:16Is yours on?
33:17No, I'm jealous, you know, because mine didn't come to the table.
33:19I understand.
33:20This meeting is the beginning of my opportunity to stand out and shine
33:22and really let these individuals know that they're going to get
33:25a high quality of service as a result of my role as project manager for this team.
33:30Brandon, this is Ben Novello.
33:32How are you doing, Ben?
33:33Pleased to meet you.
33:34Nice to meet you.
33:35My pleasure.
33:36Okay, I don't know if you've had a chance to get an orientation
33:39to how we're going to be working for all of the games.
33:41Why don't you run us through it?
33:42Okay, well, basically, right now, the way we have it laid out,
33:44both the tailgate and also the reception itself after the game
33:48will be taking place center field all the way closer to the back wall.
33:52During the game, we're going to have a VIP area situated behind home plate.
33:56We're looking to have one of your Outback 20x20 tents situated there
34:01with seating for around 200 people.
34:03And the weather for tomorrow?
34:05So far, it's 68.
34:07Same as today.
34:08No rain, so you don't have to have everybody under a tent?
34:11No.
34:12People want to be out of a tent, they should be fine.
34:13I don't want to jinx you.
34:14Jinx us, jinx us.
34:16Say, jinx us, we're all in this together, right?
34:18No.
34:19No, it'll be your fault if it rains.
34:21We bring the food.
34:22The food doesn't show up, and it's my fault.
34:24How about that?
34:26Welcome to the Boulevard
34:28Hi there.
34:29Welcome to the Boulevard.
34:30I'm Rebecca.
34:31Rebecca, I'm Wenda Millard.
34:32Nice to meet you, Wenda Millard.
34:33Nice to meet you.
34:34When the Yahoo executives came to the club,
34:36we really were two days into a three-day task.
34:39If they wanted to change their mind about any of the big items on our list,
34:43we would have a lot of trouble to completely change our vision.
34:46This will be the location for the VIP gathering.
34:51We have special design furniture specifically for your event
34:54in the Yahoo color purple, as well as Yahoo white.
34:57The bar will be decorated with purple and white confetti.
35:01In terms of the confetti, is that on the floor or on the bar itself?
35:05Well, I mean, if you would prefer that it's not on the bar,
35:08we could put it on the floor.
35:09The Yahoo executives are tough women.
35:11I mean, these are women who expect the best.
35:13They expect something premium out of this event.
35:15What happens on the floor?
35:16The floor is covered with confetti.
35:19What happens on the screens during this party?
35:21Are the cubes something that guests sit on?
35:24So you have three people tending bar for 150 clients.
35:27We're not talking about an assortment of purple food.
35:30No, no.
35:31No, you're not going to find a purple cake tomorrow.
35:34We were a little concerned about that.
35:36Right now, the raising money element of this event is sort of the question mark.
35:41One of the ideas that we've contemplated
35:43is to auction off the opportunity to sit in the Yahoo chair
35:47and watch the performance.
35:49I think the biggest challenge is that we don't want to press people on the spot to contribute.
35:57May I ask a question?
35:58Are you opposed of us then directly asking for a donation,
36:02like at a table when individuals are leaving?
36:05Is that something you're not interested in having us do?
36:07I think that that is crossing the line.
36:11Okay.
36:12Can we just put a donation envelope in the gift bags?
36:14I mean, I really don't think we should be inviting clients to a big party
36:17and then saying, oh, by the way, here's an envelope.
36:20Sure.
36:21At the end of the day, I have to listen to my client.
36:24Yahoo is the big sponsor for this event,
36:27and what Yahoo says they want is what Yahoo gets.
36:32I expect and hope that your clients will enjoy this event.
36:36Okay, thanks a lot.
36:37We'll see you tomorrow.
36:45Everything okay?
36:46It's going to take you a while to get this thing up.
36:48I know it.
36:49If I have to do this part in the dark, I can do it.
36:51My goal for today is to have this field completely set up by the time I leave here.
36:57As you can see, we've got a lot of work to do.
36:59We've got half the fence up and half a damn tent up,
37:02so I'm a little frustrated right now.
37:04Mark's middle name is I'll Make It Happen.
37:07Oh, my God.
37:08He's so I'll Make It Happen.
37:10He's out of control.
37:11Your chairs are all here.
37:13Your tables are here.
37:15What do you think?
37:16Does this take me an hour tops, 30 minutes?
37:21Working his tail off down there.
37:23He's a monster.
37:24Yeah.
37:25You know, I haven't seen anybody come out that sweet,
37:28and I don't know what we can do for six hours up there.
37:31You guys have staff to help you with this?
37:34No, but I'll get it done.
37:36Where's your colleagues?
37:37I don't know, but I'll get it done.
37:39Are they in the stadium somewhere?
37:43You know, I'll get it done.
37:45I got it done.
37:46I don't know why Mark's here alone.
37:48I haven't seen Randall since we left at about 4, 4.30.
37:53I expected to find him back here coordinating this.
37:56They've got to get all the seating set up.
37:58They've got to get all the banners hung.
38:00They've got to get all the tents in place.
38:01If they save any of this for the morning,
38:03they're going to be in big trouble when it comes to a timeline.
38:06There aren't enough of them, and there isn't enough time.
38:09We've got a lot of stuff that's going to happen,
38:13but what's really happening right now?
38:16A few things are being set up,
38:18but you're bordering on four more hours of daylight.
38:21You've got to get it done now.
38:23What would be an example of what you think?
38:25The fence, the signage.
38:26That's going up right now.
38:27See those little flags?
38:29We should be done setting up tonight.
38:32Before we leave here tonight,
38:34everything will be in place.
38:36We hit the ground running tomorrow.
38:38That's the way it needs to be done.
38:40The people who are coming here tomorrow
38:42are going to expect no glitches,
38:44everything to go smoothly,
38:46because you're representing my brand too.
38:47Absolutely, I understand that.
38:49You won't be smiling tomorrow if you don't represent my brand.
38:57Once the event starts,
38:59there's going to need to be coordination
39:02of the emcee and the comedians.
39:05That's going to need so we can get them up on stage.
39:07This is James.
39:11Not bad, Joe.
39:13What's that?
39:30We just got a call from Joe Piscopo,
39:31our emcee for tomorrow night.
39:33He said he had a union conflict,
39:35and that he can't do it.
39:37That leaves us in a big bind.
39:38He was our big show, and now we have nothing.
39:45Hey Joe, if we cannot meet their concessions,
39:47do you have any suggestions of who might do this for us?
39:52Joe, I appreciate it.
39:53And as I said, if we can't,
39:54we're going to try to get this taken care of,
39:56and hopefully we're talking on your cell phone pretty soon here.
39:59Thanks, Joe.
40:01What's the problem?
40:02Joe can't come.
40:04Right now, there is a possibility
40:06of task and mission failure.
40:08We have no idea what our show is going to be tomorrow.
40:10And frankly, we're pretty worried about it.
40:22All right, we have 95.
40:24Right now, 95.
40:26That's how we burn it.
40:29I started busting my balls about
40:31how I need to feel a sense of urgency.
40:34I said, okay, I can be urgent.
40:40Mark and me, we're here in the field,
40:42getting chairs set up.
40:43Marshawn's stuffing bags, we've got to get that done.
40:45Josh went to go get some of the banners up.
40:47And we just stay focused on what we've got to get done,
40:49and make sure that as we move into tomorrow
40:51that we've kind of thought through
40:53as many different scenarios as possible,
40:54so that when unexpected things come,
40:56because they will come,
40:57that we're ready for them.
41:09New York City weather for tomorrow,
41:11cold and rainy with a chance of thundershowers.
41:13So pack your umbrellas, it's going to be a wet one.
41:27Next week.
41:29It's here.
41:31The Apprentice live finale.
41:33Let's go.
41:34It's down to the brightest final two yet.
41:37Two stars.
41:38But for Rebecca, an event with no MC spells disaster.
41:42Who made your setback?
41:43And for Randall, bad weather could end it all.
41:46I'm done.
41:47In the end, only one gets the dream job of a lifetime.
41:52You're hired.
41:53It's all live.
