00:00Previously on The Apprentice, I raised the stakes.
00:04If your team wins, you will not have to participate
00:08in a task next week.
00:10Kinetic won the task and earned this week off.
00:16While Michelle's team turned against her.
00:19We're a bunch of very different personalities.
00:21We don't mesh naturally in this group.
00:23Like who?
00:24You.
00:25Michelle's head could be on the chopping block
00:26because she was consistently not getting along
00:27with a lot of people during this task.
00:29When there's no obvious screw-up,
00:31then you start going with,
00:33all right, well, who don't I like?
00:34In the boardroom, the campaign against Michelle continued.
00:38Hey, Kerry, Kerry, who would you blame for the loss?
00:41I blame, I blame Michelle for the loss.
00:44Why?
00:45Because there's always this piece in the unit
00:48that is causing the mechanics not to work right.
00:51There's always that little tension
00:53that's causing people to have to, you know,
00:55catch an attitude, and that's Michelle.
00:57Absolutely.
01:02What's your reaction if Johnny comes back here?
01:04If Johnny just comes back here, what are you gonna do?
01:06I'm gonna drop, I'm gonna drop.
01:08Are you gonna just turn around and walk away?
01:09What are you talking about Johnny?
01:10Our teammate that we call Johnny.
01:13We came up with a name for Michelle.
01:15We just refer to her as Johnny,
01:16and the reason why she's Johnny
01:18is because she's an annoying person.
01:20Johnny come lately, that annoying, non-productive girl.
01:24I don't know if that happens.
01:25Holy cow.
01:27If only she was nice to everyone.
01:29She was nice.
01:30Well, whose idea was it to do a tight suit like that?
01:33I was designing.
01:34Who's gonna wear that suit?
01:35There are a lot of men, absolutely, that wear this suit.
01:38But Kerry, look, you love that suit.
01:41That suit, I can tell you, is a loser.
01:44Kerry, you're fired.
01:51Here they come.
01:52What do you mean?
01:54Hi.
01:58It's pretty awkward getting back to camp with Michelle.
02:01Michelle's in a point of tension with this group.
02:03I think she'll make a serious attempt to fit in with the team,
02:05but I just don't think she does fit in with this team.
02:08What took so long?
02:10Oh, man.
02:11Congratulations.
02:13Kerry had a difficult...
02:15Welcome back, honey.
02:16That was a long walk.
02:18Welcome back.
02:24There's still work, I'm telling you.
02:26Mm-hmm.
02:27Ooh, she's back.
02:29What's the verdict?
02:30Come over here.
02:31Who?
02:32Kerry.
02:33Oh!
02:35Michelle, they said, was the most disruptive of the team, so...
02:39Wait, why is Michelle so disruptive?
02:42They say that she asks too many questions.
02:45Mm-hmm.
02:46They wouldn't do well in our group.
02:48And...
02:49Yeah, no kidding.
02:51You're gonna have disruptive people in any business.
02:53You need to just learn to roll with it.
03:02Michelle.
03:03She's just insane.
03:07And she's icy cold.
03:09And she makes me chilly just thinking about her.
03:12This camp revolves around politicking.
03:15And you either are in it or you're not in it.
03:17And if you're not in it, then you can quickly become an outsider.
03:21You have to learn how to play the game in some weird way.
03:38You're fired.

04:28You're fired
04:50Good morning, this is Kinetic Corp.
04:55Good morning, this is Andy calling from Mr. Trump's office.
04:58Mr. Trump has a meeting at the Lowe's Hotel in Santa Monica this morning.
05:01Please meet him by the pool there at 8.30.
05:03And Kinetic, just a reminder, because you won last week, you will not be taking part in the task.
05:09Thanks.
05:10Thank you so much, Andy.
05:20This is becoming the separation between the haves and the have-nots.
05:43The team that wins has everything, versus the team that loses has relatively nothing.
05:50Why do you not have hot water in America now?
05:54Sleeping outside isn't the bad part. It's getting up in the morning.
05:57First thing you step is a puddle of water, which is freezing, and hoping to go for a warm shower, and not there.
06:04You're expecting an experience where you're going to taste the Trump lifestyle.
06:10And right now it's still dangling in front of my nose.
06:12You can use my scrub and go scrub in our nice plastic sink.
06:15I completely underestimated the impact of what it's like to sleep in a tent, to have to deal with the weather,
06:21and you don't think the same. I mean, you're delirious.
06:23We have to win this task, only because we're the doghouse right now.
06:27Ready? Ready?
06:42So, John, I hear Lowe's Hotels continues to do fantastic business.
06:54We're doing great.
06:55Well, I'm very proud of a man named John Tish, because there's nobody better in this country than him at this business.
07:00He's been my boss for 27 years. He's a great man.
07:03He is a great man. He's a great friend of mine. I see the teams. Let's go.
07:06Okay. Have a good day.
07:22Good morning.
07:23Good morning.
07:25So, Kinetic, what are you doing here? I told you that you don't have to participate.
07:30In the meantime, this beautiful Lowe's Hotel, you've got beach, you've got spas, you've got everything.
07:35Really have a nice time, so enjoy it while it lasts. Go ahead. Go.
07:40We knew we had earned exemption, but we didn't know too many other details.
07:43We're going to get a day full of pampering and luxury here at the hotel.
07:46This is awesome. Right now, I'm just elated.
07:54All right. Arrow, I'm seeing too much of you. You're losing too much.
07:59So, what I'm going to ask you to do is split up into two teams.
08:05If you want, I can choose two captains, or you can choose your own.
08:09Who would like to be a project manager?
08:12I would.
08:13Aaron. Who else?
08:18Michelle, do you want to be a project manager?
08:22Yes. I will be up for the position.
08:25Good.
08:26I can't say no to Mr. Donald Trump when he asks me in front of everybody,
08:31will I be willing to step up to project manager?
08:33I feel like I was slightly cornered into this position.
08:36I really, I had to say yes.
08:38Michelle, pick your first teammate.
08:40My first teammate is Tim.
08:45Tim, get over here. Aaron, pick your teammate.
08:47Pick James.
08:48James. Good. Go ahead.
08:50My second teammate is Nicole.
08:53Okay.
08:54We choose Stephanie.
08:56All right, Stephanie.
08:57I don't know, my man from the Bronx, that's not very good.
09:00Last chosen.
09:01But you still like him, right?
09:02Of course.
09:03He's a good guy.
09:04All right.
09:05Standing on my left is Don and Ivanka.
09:08My children, but they're not children.
09:10They're very talented business people.
09:12Ivanka and Don will be my eyes and ears.
09:15I listen very intently when they tell me something.
09:18Now, you're standing poolside at one of L.A. County's
09:22finest beachfront tourist destinations.
09:25This is the Lowe's Hotel just steps from the Pacific Ocean.
09:29Over 25 million people visit L.A. County every year,
09:34making tourism a $12 billion industry.
09:38Don, what's the task?
09:40For your next task, you're going to be creating a themed tour
09:42for Starline Tours of Hollywood, one of the oldest
09:44and most respected tour companies in the country.
09:47Each team will be provided a double-decker bus for your tour.
09:50You will be judged on creativity,
09:52substance, and your ultimate performance.
09:55Based on a survey, a focus group of tourists
09:57will decide the winner.
09:58Now, the loser comes back, they're in the boardroom,
10:02somebody gets fired.
10:03You have two teams, very distinct teams.
10:05I've never done this before, but I thought it was deserving
10:08because you people have been doing a lot of losing.
10:11Go have a good time.
10:12I'll see you soon.
10:13Go ahead, please.
10:14There is a probability that the team would want me fired
10:18if we lose this task.
10:19Which is precisely why we have to win this task.
10:21The stakes are higher than they've ever been for me.
10:23Good man, Aaron.
10:24Bye.
10:25Bye.
10:26Good luck, buddy.
10:28I know there are like these tours in Hollywood
10:31That you can go visit houses of stars, of celebrities.
10:34Our task was to come up with an original, themed tour
10:38for Starline Tours.
10:40Apart from the expectations that basically
10:42it's
10:51Our task was to come up with an original themed tour
10:54for StarLine Tours.
10:56A couple things that people love about L.A. and know about L.A.
10:59is the Laker girls and the Lakers.
11:01Imagine eight Laker girls on the bus.
11:04When 50 people outside this town come into Los Angeles,
11:08they want to be part of something special,
11:10something big, something that's sexy.
11:12The Laker girls were hot.
11:15Hi, we were very interested
11:19in having the Los Angeles Laker girls
11:22be part of this tour for StarLine Tours.
11:30All right, we definitely want them.
11:32James came up with a great idea,
11:33kicked us off with those Laker girls.
11:35Working with James is really fun.
11:37He's a ball of energy.
11:38It's as if he had 12 cups of coffee
11:40and then you slingshot him across the street
11:42and just let him go.
11:43If the Laker girls show up,
11:45this task will absolutely be won by our team.
11:48You know what, we're such a freaking smart team.
11:50It drives me nuts.
12:04Do you think that we should maybe focus on a theme right now
12:07since that's the most important thing?
12:08Or maybe it's just like a day in the life
12:10of the rich and famous.
12:11And then we could hit all the landmarks
12:13of the places that they love.
12:14I like that.
12:15I think it's a cool idea.
12:16Nicole, do you love it?
12:17You better speak truly right now
12:18because I want to speak truly.
12:20Okay, I really can't.
12:21I'm not going with a theme
12:22that you guys are not standing behind 100%.
12:24You know, there were some pretty heavy things said
12:26in the prior task.
12:27And I think that the most important thing for me to do
12:30is just operate this task as a consensus,
12:32you know, teammanship in consensus.
12:35You didn't listen to what I said.
12:36I stand behind it 100%.
12:39And if we do it, I'm fully focused
12:42and will give 100% to it.
12:43Okay, so that's your opinion.
12:44If this ever had to come up,
12:46you would have to say that
12:47you stood behind our theme wholeheartedly.
12:50Michelle comes up with the idea
12:51of a day in the life of the rich and famous.
12:53She is so scared to, like, stand behind it
12:56that she just wants to know,
12:57does the whole team really agree 100% with this?
12:59Michelle is too caught up on how people feel about her.
13:02Make your decision and stand behind it.
13:04I'll have more respect for you that way.
13:05So we're all unanimous on that?
13:07If we do it correctly, I'd love it.
13:09Great. Okay.
13:10Done.
13:13♪♪
13:22♪♪
13:32♪♪
13:38You're a happy camper!
13:41Happy camper!
13:43Happy camper!
13:45Laughter
13:48Cheers.
13:56The other team is out there doing a task of some sort.
13:59I have no idea what they're doing,
14:01and I really don't care.
14:03I wonder what the other team is doing.
14:05Not this.
14:07What do you guys think about going and getting a massage?
14:09Let's do it.
14:10Sweet.
14:12Okay, we talked about the Menendez brothers,
14:15where they whack their parents.
14:17What if I took you on a tour
14:19that showed where the O.J. Simpson murder was?
14:22I don't know about murders.
14:24In movies, there are certain places
14:26that have been filmed in certain locations
14:28that people wouldn't know of.
14:30There are tons of locations right along this street.
14:32You know, they're all places where things were filmed.
14:35Famous places, beautiful places.
14:37Famous places.
14:38Places.
14:39Because it's famous for the city.
14:40And beautiful faces.
14:41Because they're actors and actresses.
14:43And we have Laker girls.
14:44Oh!
14:45You guys...
14:46You're like off the ball game.
14:48That is beautiful.
14:49I feel really good right now.
14:51I'm excited.
14:52I think this is my opportunity
14:54to really showcase our team to Mr. Trump,
14:56and it's going to be a great win.
14:58I really believe we're going to win.
15:00This is good.
15:01This is really, really good.
15:14You're going to take one phone with you.
15:16Okay.
15:17Give us a call.
15:18Let us know.
15:19Okay.
15:20Take copious notes.
15:21Choose good spots, guys,
15:22where we can get colorful about,
15:23hey, there's a gun scene and all that stuff, right?
15:25We sent James on a mission.
15:26We've instructed him
15:27to take a Starline Hollywood tour firsthand,
15:29and at the end of the tour, to survey them
15:31and get their opinions about what they liked about the tour
15:34and what they thought could make the tour better
15:36so that we hopefully will be able to improve upon that.
15:38Okay, folks, pleasure to have you with us
15:40on the Hollywood Trolley.
15:41My name is John.
15:42I'll be your tour guide and narrator
15:44on this tour of Hollywood.
15:45And it will get a little bit breezy in the back.
15:47We had a gentleman lose a toupee back there
15:50about a month ago,
15:51so if you got one of those, hold on to it.
15:53There's a couple things that I realized
15:55that we must not do.
15:56The first one was this tasteful jokes.
15:59The guy tried to be funny, and he wasn't funny.
16:02The neighbors in this area don't like tour buses,
16:06and I ought to know.
16:07And they love me like a ruptured spleen.
16:10Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha.
16:14Sir, how far along are we?
16:16Oh, we're about halfway through halftime,
16:18and there are no refreshments,
16:19so no intermission right now.
16:20Sorry about that.
16:21Everybody's dying in here.
16:23Wouldn't it be nice to have water,
16:24like Perrier or something on you?
16:26Yeah? That'd be nice?
16:27Yeah.
16:28The water would be good?
16:29Yeah.
16:30Okay.
16:31People were hot, and they had no refreshments,
16:34and so we had to make sure we can give them some water,
16:37give them some maybe candy to chew on.
16:39I knew we had to do that.
16:41Basically, if we had offered refreshments,
16:44the customers would love it.
16:46Yeah, that's right on.
16:47I think we're going Perrier and popcorn.
16:53How are the mojitos?
16:55Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha.
16:58Whoo!
17:05How good does this feel?
17:07Oh, this feels so good.
17:08Yeah.
17:09So nice.
17:17I don't think that the time off is going to slow us down at all,
17:20and I think that these couple of days of rest
17:22are just really going to restore us,
17:24and I think being able to regroup like this,
17:26I think mentally we're very strong and very positive,
17:29and especially going into this next task.
17:36So tell you what, why don't you just on the right
17:38just start to look at landmarks.
17:40Write them down, okay?
17:41But I was saying we'll see stuff together.
17:43No, we're going to talk about it later.
17:45Write down where it is,
17:46and write down what you see, just go for it.
17:50Strip club.
17:52After we came up with the theme,
17:54Michelle and I took off to plan the route.
17:56We first drove around Hollywood,
17:58trying to figure out if this could work
18:00as the date in life of the rich and famous.
18:05This isn't feeling like the lifestyle
18:07of the rich and famous right now for me.
18:09Hollywood's kind of a dump.
18:10Michelle kind of came to the conclusion, finally,
18:12that the rich and famous really don't exist in Hollywood.
18:15I'm really kind of second-guessing this location.
18:17Okay, well...
18:18Is that okay to be second-guessing?
18:20You know, it's better than not switching
18:22and then regretting it.
18:23I'm feeling really strong that we've got to go
18:25in the direction of the Beverly Hills.
18:27We have to get off Hollywood?
18:29Yeah.
18:34I think this is boring.
18:36This is boring.
18:37It's beautiful, and it's boring.
18:39Once we were in Beverly Hills for two more hours,
18:42it was clear we had to make a decision.
18:44Okay, um, let's just think of a location in Hollywood
18:47because it's just a little bit sexier.
18:49So you're saying through Hollywood?
18:50We just, we can drive through Beverly Hills.
18:56Do you feel we're getting things done?
18:58I'm a soldier, I have no problem being a soldier.
19:00Put me in a direction, I'll go.
19:02But I'm getting worked up now
19:03because I'm the type of person that gets things done.
19:06It is late right now.
19:07Me and Frank ultimately decided
19:08that if we didn't just start pounding things out
19:11and getting them done,
19:12they weren't getting done
19:13because there's no way Michelle was doing them.
19:16Awesome.
19:17Awesome, we are very excited.
19:18Beautiful.
19:19The first thing we decided to do was get tuxedos
19:21to really create the ambiance of the rich and famous
19:24and to make people feel really special these days.
19:28It's the rich and famous.
19:30Yeah, the rich and famous, very nice.
19:32After Frank and I picked up the tuxedos,
19:34we went to put together banners for the bus.
19:36That looks perfect like that.
19:38The only thing on my mind right now
19:39is what me and Frank need to do to win this task.
19:41Because I know Tim's trying to do everything that he can,
19:44but with Michelle there,
19:45I'm sure that it's making it very difficult.
19:50Hollywood or Beverly Hills?
19:53If you were me,
19:54which direction would you go in right now?
19:56If you tell me to make a decision, I will,
19:59but you shouldn't.
20:01No, I know, I get it.
20:02Okay.
20:03So it's, okay.
20:05We're going back to the Hollywood decision.
20:07Done, done, done.
20:08Let's just do it, secure it.
20:09Cool.
20:10We waited a lot of time,
20:11and we're now in a situation where we have to pull an all-nighter.
20:15It's going to be a long night.
20:17Can you please help me come up with a starting location?
20:19It's not going to be Hollywood and Vine.
20:21It's not going to be Hollywood and Highland.
20:22It's not going to be Sunset Boulevard.
20:25You thinking too?
20:40I want to make us a pot of coffee, too.
20:42At midnight, we went back to camp
20:44where Aaron and James and I set up a makeshift office,
20:47and we sort of huddled together to come up with a route.
20:52Is there any way you can start me off with man-chinese?
20:55I never saw three people
20:57who have as big of mouths as we do
21:00shut up and get to work.
21:02Wow.
21:03The first ever Academy Awards ceremony.
21:06This is bad that we're going to sleep.
21:08I think we need a little bit of rest.
21:10We're good.
21:13I would love to sleep for an hour and a half, all of us.
21:15I am not going to sleep.
21:16We don't have a choice.
21:17We're doing this as a team either way.
21:18What I'm saying is strategically.
21:19We get more done and be better in the presentation.
21:21He has a point.
21:22I personally do not think that we can afford any time lost.
21:25Right?
21:26We're going to sleep.
21:27We're going to sleep.
21:28We're going to sleep.
21:29We're going to sleep.
21:30We're going to sleep.
21:31We're going to sleep.
21:32We're going to sleep.
21:33We're going to sleep.
21:34We're going to sleep.
21:35We're going to sleep.
21:36Right?
21:37We had gone days with little or no sleep.
21:40The entire day, Michelle had us not really get anything accomplished,
21:43and now she's asking us to stay up all night and not sleep?
21:46That really makes no sense.
21:50If there's any way that you can figure out a way to rally,
21:53it would be incredible because it would be awesome for us all
21:55just to work together and just get it done.
21:57I just need a plan.
21:59I feel like there was a lot of wasted time.
22:02I need to know what to do.
22:04We're creating a process,
22:05and we're going to help one another fill in the holes.
22:07Instead of just giving up and saying, I don't know what to do.
22:09I don't know why you think I'm giving up.
22:11You're lying in bed right now.
22:12That's why.
22:13We've told you 10 minutes.
22:15What do you want?
22:16I'm standing.
22:17It doesn't matter if I'm standing or sitting.
22:18My mind is working.
22:19Don't go there, Nicole.
22:20Go where?
22:21Don't go there.
22:22Sit down.
22:23Sit standing.
22:24I don't care.
22:25It doesn't matter to me.
22:26I don't even know who this Nicole is.
22:27I know we're all tired, but, I mean, I feel like shaking her and saying,
22:30do you want me to have to say to Mr. Trump that you went to bed
22:32in the middle of a task while we all stayed up and worked?
22:34If we lose this task, I would definitely recommend that Nicole be fired.
22:38We're not going to do this right now.
22:49Aaron, get the Laker girls down here ASAP.
22:52Now.
22:53There is a huge crowd already here just waiting to get on the bus.
22:57I'm walking around the corner with the girls.
23:00We're coming right now.
23:03How about the Lakers, huh?
23:04Let's give a hand to the Laker girls.
23:10Are you guys excited?
23:16We bring the Laker girls down to where the bus is boarding,
23:19and it is almost a mob scene.
23:22We're trying to maintain a great atmosphere and a great environment for these folks
23:25because they're going to be making the decision on whether we're going to win or lose.
23:31Welcome to the bus ride. Welcome.
23:39So how are we doing here, James?
23:41You are our special guest, so go ahead.
23:51What is the theme for our tour bus today?
23:54Famous places, beautiful faces.
23:57So what beautiful faces did you see?
23:59Ma'am, who did you see?
24:01Sean Connery.
24:03James is going to be the dominant personality in any situation that he's in.
24:08Sean Connery, my wife says he is one of the most handsome men ever.
24:12He is loud, and that's good and bad.
24:15Oh my gosh.
24:17James is up here.
24:19Think of James. We need you a little more in here.
24:22Let's give a round of applause for all parents, okay?
24:24James is like an emcee with a whole lot of energy and nothing to say.
24:29I wanted to wring his neck.
24:31If we lose, James is gone.
24:34You guys are probably thinking this is the craziest tour bus you've ever been on.
24:46Hi, how are you doing?
24:47How are you?
24:48Good.
24:49Welcome. Hi, guys. How are you?
24:51Very good.
24:52Hello, sir.
24:53Hi, ladies. How are you doing?
24:55I think that once this bus starts rolling, and the four of us are working together,
24:58and we've got our magic going, I think that we're going to have an excellent time.
25:01No matter what happened prior to this bus ride,
25:03it's all going to come down to what we do on this bus ride that makes the difference.
25:07Ladies and gentlemen, this is Michelle speaking.
25:09I'm so happy to have you on our bus today.
25:11As you probably know, our theme for the day is A Day in the Life of the Rich and Famous.
25:16We wanted to take an opportunity to explain how we feel visibly
25:20and to explain how we feel this means to us, this theme,
25:25felt through the eyes of the rich and famous.
25:28The elements of being in the caliber of the rich and famous.
25:32So that having been said...
25:34When Michelle was on the microphone, she was making absolutely no sense.
25:38Maybe she needed sleep more than the rest of us,
25:40because who knew where her thought process was going to.
25:43And Tim here will be giving you the facts of many of the sites.
25:47What do you think of when you think of L.A.?
25:50What does everybody think of?
25:52Movie stars, what else?
25:54Do you think of bad microphones?
25:58It was the microphone situation that caused me to feel dread and true misery.
26:04And we had an hour and 28 minutes to go.
26:11The first place we're going to see is called the Chateau Marmont.
26:16The Chateau Marmont is most famous for is the location
26:20where the legendary John Belushi passed away
26:23after injecting a speedball full of drugs and overdose.
26:32I probably should have left the John Belushi trivia out.
26:34When it was the first thing that popped into my mind about the Chateau
26:36is that that is where John Belushi died.
26:38I definitely should have left out the heroin part of it.
26:40There were children around.
26:42There may have been a moment when a child after the terrorist, their dad,
26:45what's a speedball?
26:56You guys know the Hollywood Walk of Fame, right?
26:59Do you know that Miss Julia Roberts does not have a star?
27:05What?
27:07I'm not sure what James was saying.
27:09And the only way I could think of to fix that
27:11was to just ad lib and point out other things
27:13to try to make it interesting for the crowd.
27:15You're passing the microphone to me. You ran out of stuff to say?
27:17I just told you I'm a shy guy.
27:19Are you working on only two cups of caffeine today?
27:21I'm a shy guy, okay? Leave me alone.
27:23Ladies and gentlemen, we are passing the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel.
27:27Now, the Hollywood Roosevelt is really the cornerstone of Hollywood Renaissance.
27:32In fact, the very first Academy Awards ceremony was held at that hotel.
27:37Behind me directly is the Magic Castle.
27:40You can only get in there by invitation.
27:42What started out with 150 members only has grown to 5,000.
27:47Stephanie was able to digest an unbelievable amount of information about these places
27:53and deliver it so professionally
27:56that people would have thought she was a tour guide for 20 years.
27:59Can you believe, you guys, that Julia Roberts hung out of that window
28:02and that was her shoddy apartment for the movie Pretty Woman?
28:04You would never think it, driving down this street, would you?
28:07When it came down to it, I definitely feel like I bailed us out.
28:10I bailed James out, definitely.
28:12What was our theme today?
28:14Famous, amazing, beautiful, amazing.
28:26We can't hear anything.
28:28How about yelling?
28:29Yeah. Does that work better?
28:31So much better.
28:32We're going to be on Hollywood Boulevard.
28:34Who's heard of Hollywood Boulevard?
28:36Yeah, you've heard of Hollywood, but not necessarily Hollywood Boulevard.
28:40Now, Hollywood Boulevard is full of stars.
28:44Has anyone ever heard of that? Stars on the ground?
28:47I started talking about the Hollywood stars way too early when they weren't there yet,
28:50so I did a long description of what they're made of
28:52and what the different symbols are and just horrible, terrible stuff.
28:56Michelle should have let us sleep.
28:58If we were all one hour asleep right now, I think we'd all be a lot sharper.
29:01Thank you for spending your time with us.
29:03I think the tour ended up being a bit of a disaster logistically,
29:07and yet we also recognized that there were some people on the bus that were certainly not angry.
29:13I think that they felt for us. They had some sympathy.
29:33You were asked to come up with an original double-decker bus tour.
29:59How did you do? What do you think? Who won?
30:02I think we won Mr. Trump.
30:04You think so? I think so.
30:06Michelle?
30:07If our group had heart, then we won.
30:10Why do you say that?
30:11Well, we had a logistics issue right out of the gate.
30:14Our microphone wouldn't work, and it caused a little bit of an uproar in the beginning,
30:19and then my team absolutely stood up to the bat.
30:22I have never seen anything I was so impressed by.
30:24What did you think of Michelle as a project manager?
30:27It wasn't always smooth, but we were always putting our effort into it.
30:31Do you think she was good or okay?
30:34I thought she had her moments.
30:35I don't see great enthusiasm here for her.
30:37I thought she had her moments.
30:39What do you think, Nicole?
30:40I think Michelle's a great person.
30:42What does a great person mean?
30:43Do you think Michelle was a good project manager?
30:46No.
30:47Why?
30:48I think that it was hard for us to pull together.
30:51It's pretty tough before you even know whether or not you won or lost, right?
30:54There's not a lot of confidence here on this team.
30:56Frank, do you think your team won?
30:58Based on creativity, yes.
31:01Based on your project manager, do you think you won?
31:05Based on our project manager?
31:10Mr. Trump, I think we won, yes.
31:11I feel confident.
31:12Do you think she did a good job?
31:14I think she had trouble making decisions,
31:16and I think at the end of the day, you know, decisions had to be made,
31:21and ultimately Michelle just couldn't make a decision.
31:23These people, you are really not high on your project manager, right?
31:27Aaron, how do you think your team did?
31:29I think we did fantastic.
31:31I'm so confident.
31:32Stephanie, what do you think of the job Aaron did as project manager?
31:35I thought he did an excellent job.
31:36James, what did you think?
31:37Aaron did a great job.
31:38I was very impressed by his leadership and willing to listen.
31:42A lot of people don't listen, he'd listen.
31:44Aaron, do you think you won?
31:45Absolutely.
31:46You did really well.
31:47I think so.
31:48Well, we're going to find out right now.
31:49I can't wait.
31:50Ivanka, how did Aaron's team do?
31:52Some of the comments from the tourists were good interaction with the guests,
31:57great guides, fun and entertaining, and an insightful Hollywood experience.
32:02Overall, Aaron, your team, the approval ratings were 82%.
32:08That sounds pretty good, yeah.
32:10Don, how did Michelle's team do?
32:11Well, some of the comments of the group were,
32:13I felt the tour was somewhat repetitive and not much information.
32:18Michelle's team scored an approval rating of only 58%.
32:25That's not so great, Michelle.
32:27It's not so great.
32:28I mean, like I said, if the group had heart,
32:31then I would have hoped that we could have won.
32:34You know what? It doesn't matter.
32:35It doesn't.
32:36We'll be hearing about it.
32:37You can hear all about it.
32:38And obviously somebody's going to be fired,
32:39so we're going to just be hearing about it.
32:41But in the meantime, Aaron, Stephanie, James, congratulations.
32:47Now, your victory today is just that.
32:50It's a victory, and you needed a victory.
32:52Yes.
32:53But that's going to be your reward.
32:54It's called mental.
32:55It's victory.
32:56You're not going to move into the house
32:58because Kinetic already has a monopoly on the house
33:00because they've been winning and winning consistently.
33:03But winning is a good feeling.
33:05And what's good for you, Aaron,
33:07is you'll be joining Don and Ivanka and myself,
33:10and you're going to be helping us make a decision
33:13as to which one of the other four will be fired.
33:17So congratulations. Good job.
33:19Michelle, your team, I'll see you in the boardroom.
33:22Somebody will be fired. Thank you.
33:24May I say something?
33:25Yes.
33:26I would love to say something.
33:27I would just like to say that in light of the circumstance
33:31and the fact that what I signed up for originally
33:33is not what I'm dealing with now.
33:35What are you dealing with?
33:36Just living in the backyard, being the losers.
33:38Too tough?
33:39It is.
33:40It's more than I bargained for,
33:41and it's certainly not what I signed up for.
33:43I would love to have an opportunity
33:45to work for your organization
33:46through the conventional route potentially one day,
33:49but at this point,
33:50I don't even feel like I want to come back to the boardroom.
33:53It's just, it's not worth it to me to go through this.
33:56It really isn't.
33:57So you're quitting?
33:58I would love to resign from the process.
34:00But does that make you a quitter?
34:02It does not.
34:03Does that make you a loser?
34:04It does not.
34:05Would that preclude you from coming to our organization
34:06and doing anything for us if you're not willing to go through this?
34:08Would you have quit if you had won?
34:10I may have.
34:11The process has been tough on me.
34:13It's been really difficult.
34:15I would not have ever signed up for this
34:17had I known that I would be living in tents
34:19in the freezing cold weather, working in the rain.
34:21It's not how I want to spend the next however many weeks.
34:26I appreciate the opportunity.
34:28Plus, you know you're in serious trouble.
34:30The truth is, is that I have learned so much about myself
34:33in being on this process.
34:35It's been incredibly insightful.
34:36I've loved so many of the challenges that have come up.
34:39It's a great way to get to know your strengths, your weaknesses.
34:42I've appreciated it.
34:43And I want to thank you for the opportunity.
34:45Well, I thank you too.
34:46I just want to leave you with this.
34:48This is a major opportunity.
34:50This is a major lifetime event for you.
34:53In all of the years that I've been doing this,
34:55only one person has quit.
34:58Quit.
34:59Left.
35:01I've been amazed that there's only been one person
35:04because some people, and sometimes you really suffer.
35:06It's very tough.
35:09You're doing something that when you look back on your life,
35:12I think you will not be proud of, number one.
35:14Number two, when I give speeches on success
35:18and speeches on motivation,
35:20the second point I make is never, ever give up.
35:24Never quit.
35:25I say that.
35:26You can never be successful if you quit.
35:29If you want to leave, if you want to...
35:31You can dress it up any way,
35:33but you came into this knowing it wasn't going to be easy.
35:36And you quit.
35:37I don't know if you want that.
35:38It would be quite like this.
35:39You want to know, if I were you,
35:41I'd rather be fired, to be honest, than quit.
35:44I can appreciate that.
35:45I hate the concept.
35:46I hate what you're doing with quitting.
35:48I hate what you're doing for yourself.
35:50Me, I don't care.
35:51You make my job easier.
35:53But the fact is,
35:54I hate that you're going to be living with that for a long time.
35:57You quit.
35:58I just think it's a mistake for yourself.
36:00I appreciate your candor,
36:01and I knew that you would feel that way.
36:03You know, it's sort of like a boxer.
36:05I have more respect for a boxer that's in big trouble,
36:09and he goes out and he just gives it everything,
36:12and he sometimes gets knocked out
36:14than I do for a boxer that quits in his corner.
36:16I hate seeing a boxer quit in his corner.
36:19And you're quitting in your corner.
36:21I'm quitting in my corner because I also know
36:23that there was so much more that I could have done on that task.
36:26And I'm just thinking that
36:27there's just something that's going on with my spirit
36:29that it isn't being the typical resilient person
36:32that I came into this space being.
36:34I know you've learned a lot about yourself in this process.
36:36If the end result of that is quitting,
36:37what have you really learned about yourself if you're giving up?
36:39But see, like Mr. Trump said, and I appreciate the question,
36:42I can coat this any way that I want.
36:44So for me, it doesn't feel like I'm quitting anything.
36:47It feels like I'm actually staying true to my integrity,
36:49staying true to a process that doesn't work for me naturally.
36:52Michelle, it's a real-life process.
36:54When you go out into business...
36:55I get that.
36:56When you go out into business,
36:57it's going to be much tougher
36:59than living in a tent at 72 degrees in Los Angeles
37:02on the top of a hill.
37:03Yes.
37:04It's not so bad.
37:05What happens when you meet your first obstacle in business
37:09and you decide, you know what?
37:10I don't like it. I'm not happy about it.
37:13I'm going to quit.
37:14You're never going to make it.
37:15I've never done it.
37:16And anybody who knows...
37:17You've done it now.
37:18I have done it now, and I may never do it again.
37:20Okay. Michelle, I accept your resignation.
37:23Thank you very much.
37:25I will see you three later.
37:31Bye.
37:34Good luck, Michelle.
37:44If she was still a fan of her team,
37:45she shouldn't have left them.
37:46She should have come into the boardroom
37:47and taken her medicine like a man or woman in this case
37:50instead of leaving them to come into the boardroom
37:52and maybe one of them gets fired
37:53when they wouldn't otherwise have been fired.
37:57It's a tough situation.
37:59It just doesn't feel right.
38:03What the hell did you do?
38:05Don't do that.
38:06Don't.
38:07What did you do?
38:08Don't do that.
38:09Man, are you...
38:10Just stand behind me.
38:12Get out of your mind.
38:13After the boardroom, Michelle came back to camp with us
38:15to pack her things and say goodbye.
38:17I mean, we're not going to lie to you.
38:19We are in shock.
38:20I mean, I'm in, like, utter shock.
38:22I haven't quit something, I don't think,
38:24since I was maybe three.
38:25Now you have.
38:26Now I have, big deal.
38:27I'm really angry.
38:28One of the three of us is fired.
38:30Tim, do not even go that route.
38:32I hope not.
38:33He really might fire one of us now.
38:35No, he's not going to.
38:36He might.
38:37Nah.
38:38Really?
38:39Because our leader gave up.
38:41Michelle really screwed us over.
38:43She was definitely going to be fired, 100%.
38:46And now one of us could be fired,
38:48it makes me really quite angry.
38:50You win.
38:53You really did it.
38:56You really did it.
38:57And they're going to get fired.
38:58Wait, someone from the same team's getting fired.
39:01Stop.
39:03Mr. Trump is a person who has voiced his opinion
39:06very strongly in the past
39:07about how he feels about never quitting.
39:09I knew that Mr. Trump would respond that way.
39:14I don't care.
39:17Congratulations to tonight's $10,000
39:20Get Rich With Trump winner.
39:27Hello?
39:28Hi, this is Andy calling from Mr. Trump's office.
39:30Hello, Andy.
39:31Since Michelle quit,
39:32Mr. Trump feels no one else in her team deserves to be fired.
39:35Mr. Trump has canceled the boardroom.
39:37Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes!
39:40What's up?
39:41Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
39:44Goodbye, goodnight.
39:55Goodbye, goodnight.
40:01Bye, guys.
